Just your friendly neighborhood diner! This is almost always my first choice when I'm wanting a divey full breakfast experience. They have all of the classic diner options that you could ever want. Their hash browns are 10/10 and I've heard great things about the milkshakes. I had a waffle and it was delish!

This place is something really special. Everything on their menu is just done to perfection. They have breakfast sandwiches that will leave you feeling full way past lunch time. Their chicken fried steak is good. I like to get it a lot of times but it's difficult to decide what I'm going to have when I walk in their door because the food is so good.

Nice small town diner feel when you walk in. The place is relatively small, staff is friends, and service pretty quick. The biscuits and gravy meal is delicious! Good homemade sausage patties, crispy hash browns and eggs cooked perfectly to order.

The food is good here . I had the tenderloin and my wife had the chicken sandwich. It is like a cramped diner in a small town, which I like but may not be for everyone. Do not go if you are in a hurry, it will probably take while to get your food, but the wait is worth it and the portions are large.

Expect a wait did to a small kitchen but it's worth it. Incredible diner breakfast food. The breakfast sandwiches are good size and most likely best bang for your buck in the menu. If you're really hungry the Dagwood Omelette or Biscuits and Gravy breakfast are good options. Out down your phone, enjoy your conversation while you wait, and enjoy. Best breakfast in KC

Second time in here, love the ambiance - classic greasy spoon. Last time got the patty melt, which is my litmus test for grills, and it was pretty good. This time around, feeling a little more traditional, got a double cheeseburger and fries. Not so good. Fries were cold and stiff, tasting like they were frozen, and the burger was crispy. Service was awesome, and still dig the atmosphere, so may give it another shot someday.

AWESOME! We were wanting breakfast! We pulled in, seeing they close at 2pm, daily. We walked in there at 1:30, being welcomed with open arms and a smile! Great food and customer service, even as we were finishing up, past closing time. We told them we appreciated not being rushed out and the reply was "that would be rude"! Totally will refer Dagwood's to others and WE WILL BE BACK!

Its a nice little dive joint and the food is good and the prices reasonable. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Closes at 2 pm. Mon thru Fri they have good lunch specials. Check them out sometime soon. Place is small but can usually find a seat if they arent terribly busy. Service is fast and friendly.

Nice 1950s hole in the wall diner, don't find too many of these anymore. The atmosphere is quaint and the staff is excellent. I see reviews complaining about the coffee but you know what this isn't Starbucks so take that attitude somewhere else and be humble like this little hole in the wall gem.

From the decorations an old days cool pictures the Boost the atmosphere the kindness that you're greeted with when you walk in just a nice little place like Happy Days Al's that smaller baby very nice place the service was fantastic and the food was amazingly good like I was told that was for breakfast and I'm going to say that's probably amazing all day long that they're open! The waitress was kind funny and always making sure we had everything we needed matter fact I'm going to go back in and tip her more because I didn't have enough to tip her today not very much and I hate that specially when you get a fantastic waitress the food was cut to perfection and it was like out in no time it's just a great place with great service great food and great atmosphere I would give the place 20 Stars and that's still under doing it they don't make places like this anymore this is good quality people serving good quality people go eat there and enjoy a place that is fast but it don't seem fast you know what I mean it's laid-back but your food is banned there and it's just a fun place to sit and watch and listen and it's it's something you got to go enjoy go do it why you just sitting here still reading

Great atmosphere. But it is worth it to mention you must check the food. Just had $25.00 worth of uncooked food served for breakfast. Wish I had time to let them re cook it.
