Trendy, new little coffee shop in KC's (evolving) West Bottoms District. Not especially my scene, but unique and signature style, with a pretty good cup of coffee and friendly service. We're certainly not disappointed to have tried it and are happy to see this area of Kansas City grow and become popular again. It's definitely on the right track with little growing businesses like this one. Keep up the good work!

Easily my favorite coffee shop in Kansas City or anywhere for that matter. I choose to come here from the Lee's Summit area exclusively for the culture. Ian has done a lovely job of bringing together a community of like minded individuals and motorcyclists. Anyone is welcome here and you really feel it. Everyone is very personable and approachable. There's no better place to be on Sunday mornings. Come get some coffee. We'll probably like you better. P.S. They sell bagged whole bean coffee, and they'll even ground it for you if you ask.

It's a pretty cool spot to hang out down in the West Bottoms of KC with lots of cool motorcycle gear and unique apparel. I had a cup of Guatemalan coffee, no cream or sugar. This was very smooth tasting with no acidic after taste. To go with it I had one of their homemade large cookies. Max and Kimmon were the barristers that did a super job keeping well ahead of the crowd. There as no rush among any of the customers and crowd outside. All seem to welcome to visit, look at merchandise inside the cafe or at visitor's bikes or classics out front. In the background you can hear the locomotive engines horns and train brakes from the railroad nearby. Every now and then you may catch the sight and sound of small aircraft landing at the Wheeler airport. While visiting don't forget to look up at the architecture around you and think of all the history that happened down in this area. I thought their coffee and cookies and merchandise very reasonable $. Remember to bring your camera because you will want to remember your visit. I arrived on a beautiful Sunday morning.

So let me first start by saying Blip was worth the 20 min walk from downtown KC. Right in the heart of the West Bottoms Warehouse District, the coffee shop doesn’t disappoint. Not sure if you’re walking into an old welders shop or a newer groovy coffee shop. The latter is apparent as soon as you walk inside. Part coffee shop, with roaster onsite, part retail store, ALL local hangout, this coffee shop is legit. The coffee is pretty damn good too. Make a point to stop in and talk with Ian (he wasn’t there this visit) or Sierra the barista. Enjoy a local KC spot.

Came across this shop on the way to somewhere else, and I'm very glad we did! The coffee is great, the menu simple (though they will make you custom drinks, of course), and the shop looks fantastic. The atmosphere is very chill- it will be a good place to read or catch up with friends. The new space is beautiful and well decorated, and clean. The coffee is on point, and the atmosphere that his new staff helps maintain is great. BUT, if you're into any or all of those things, then you need to haul yourself down to Blip Coffee Roasters and do yourself a favor by getting some coffee, soaking in the atmosphere, and just enjoying this place. Great coffee served by friendly, nice people. And motorcycles. Heck yeah, motorcycles. This place is unique. And I don't mean unique as in "individual just like everyone else". You can find people from all walks of life here enjoying coffee and company. I love it for the motorcycle accents, but you don't have to be a biker to love the environment. Just a really cool place.

Blip is the best. I'm not a huge coffee fan, but I do like their iced mocha. I usually go to see the bikes and talk about motorcycles with other enthusiasts. Good selection of shirts, gloves, Blitwell brand bags, helmets, goggles, stickers etc. When I have time to just chill there I'll read one of the many motorcycle magazines they have. Stop by Sunday mornings to see motorcycles of all kinds. Everyone is very friendly. If you're interested in getting into the motorcycle life this is a good place to meet people and learn about the culture

Super cool and hip coffee brewery and shop located in the West Bottoms. The coffee tastes great, the showroom and lounge is huge and spacious and there is plenty to do while drinking a cup of joe, and it’s located near a few other local shops. Worth checking out! My complaint is that the coffee was pricey. Check out the cold brew (see pic) - it was amazing!

My first experience with Blip and I have mixed feelings. The coffee itself is delicious! Wonderfully roasted, great flavor and a great price to match. However, the atmosphere is where Blip lost me. The staff member who took and made my order was less than enthused and made a snarky comment about the time I took looking at the limited menu. Overall, great product but not a great first impression with staff or atmosphere.

Nestled in the Westbottoms, Blip has created a vast community of coffee lovers and motorcycle aficionados, that’s welcoming to everybody. The coffee, roasted in the back of the shop, is consistently rich and enjoyable. I’ve never been anything but happy with it. There’s plenty of seats at the bar, or throughout the shop. So if you want to socialize you can, or if you need a quiet space to work you’ve got it. Now they offer great sandwiches, AND have vegan options which I appreciate. (The shop is also dog friendly!)

This was such a great experience! I had a drip of the columbia and a shot of espresso, both were very tasty. The biggest thing that stood out here was the cafes atmosphere. We were able to sit and talk with the staff, as well as the regulars. They were so engaging and welcoming! It wasn't the stereotypical boujee coffee shop that you run into alot in KC, which was so refreshing. The space had lots of seating, open, and a great retail area. Overall, I've been to ALOT of shops, and this is definitely one I'll drive another 25 minutes to get to.

Came for the coffee and stayed for the motorcycles, cool staff, and friendly crowd. Plenty of parking throughout the Bottoms which does get a little tight on First Friday weekends, but definitely worth it. They have the best Iced Dirty Chai this side of the Mississippi. The chai is made by some local guy which you can definitely taste the difference. Even though they have cool motorcycles inside and out, it’s far from a “biker” spot.

Coffee was really good. I had the Columbia Inga Aponte. You will need a hot drink to keep you warm at the tables in the back on a cold day. This is a pet friendly business and the pets in the business were definitely friendly. Was an added bonus for sure.

Blip has excellent service and a unique ambiance! Perfect place for a coffee date. I like to come down to the west bottoms grab a coffee and stroll the neighborhood which is full of neat little shops of magical things. Come down here ASAP!

Perfect atmosphere. Splendid staff. My dog and kids are welcome. There’s a high chair so my nine year old can sit strapped in, sipping his espresso. Stay a while, ride a scooter, buy some gear, smile at a stranger. Then go by Fetch and do it all again.
