The owner is amazing, the coffee is so yummy, has a book exchange and out door food pantry really gives back to community. It is set up in the historic dual gables house and has a great outdoor seating area that is perfect for chatting with friend or relaxing with a book. Kind of on a busy road but that doesn't take away from the beauty of the experience. Parking is on the side of the house with ally access.

I love The Porch! It is cozy and welcoming. Great for a quick drop-in or hanging out and chatting with your friends over coffee and lunch. The staff is friendly and the building is a great mixture of a modern service with a historical attribute. Not to mention that their food and beverages are delicious! Would definitely recommend!

Stopped in on a rainy Saturday, gray and dreary for sure. But the quick service, delicious coffee (Skinny, Mocha, Sugar-free Salted Caramel - YUM!) and charming surroundings lifted my spirits. They have wonderful daily specials for sandwiches and soups. Terrific addition to Chariton, IA in its quaint, historic (National Register) Dual Gables location.
