Currently this business gets a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and that score has been based on 801 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is basically the highest, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the rating is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they are pleased with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to put feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Coffee Shop is classified in the category of Cafe.
This place always has the best food. Make sure your plenty hungry when you go, the portions are definitely NOT small. Amazing local diner.
Great food! Recommend the skillet or stuffed French toast. We're visiting from out of town and was recommended this place by a local. We ended up going three days in a row the food is that great. Be sure to go early in the day, by 10 or 11am it appeared to get quite busy on the weekend, but it's really worth it!
Had the best service ever at this nice old style cafe. First time in their and I'll definitely be bringing my friends in. I had a hamburger with fries and the burger was made in such a unique way. It's always the small things that go a long way. Lisa and Tiffany were great thank you for the amazing service.
We loved eating here. The staff was so kind and friendly! I got pancakes and they were some of the best pancakes I've ever had. The food was so yummy! We will definitely be coming back again. Make sure you pull out cash before coming here though!
I love Lisa's! It's cash only which I always have to remind myself, but the wait staff are friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and it's a very interesting atmosphere. I no longer live in Omaha but visit Lisa's every time I come back into town.
Lovely place for brunch !! Cash only place
The food is ALWAYS hot, the sevice QUICK, & the portions HUGE!!! *cash only*
The first time I went we I got the Titanic chicken fried steak dish, this was a couple years ago. It was so well priced that I got thwt to have leftovers, and boy did I!! It was one of the best breakfast meals I've ever had and I'm not kind to breakfast establishments. If you can't make crispy hash browns, GTFOH. Just saying. But Lisa's undoubtedly has some of the very best food in town!
I love how they ask if you would like a straw or not :)
Generous portions. Cozy atmosphere. Large coffee cups. Fun staff
Healthy portions of good quality breakfast fare.
One of my favorite places for brunch in Omaha. Reasonable prices, delicious food, and good service. The hash-browns are amazing!
Food is good. Service is responsive. I wish they weren't cash only, which feels like tax evasion at its best.
A classic American dinner. The ambiance is wonderful. Expect to wait a few minutes to be seated if coming for breakfast on a Sunday morning.
Good food and friendly service. I liked the affordable variety of breakfast options. There is a sign on the door that indicates cash only.
We have never been there
Always great service and good food in a cozy vintage atmosphere
Lots of food for a good price!
The food was good, but the atmosphere was not what I was expecting. It is very small and a bit dirty if you look up you can see that mold is growing on the ceiling. We may go back but I probably won't take my daughter next time.
Great food always busy!
Absolutely outstanding food and service, I'm not known to clean my plate often but those two plates could have almost skipped the dishwasher. Will definitely be back soon.
Tucked away near the beautiful St Cecilia's Cathedral, Lisa's Radial Cafe has it all: Small town vibe, great food, fast coffee refills, good prices and friendly service. My favorite breakfast spot in Omaha!
always good food. Fast! Very old school feel highly recommended
Great food and service!
Good food. Good people.
This is a excellent place to have breakfast or lunch. It can be crowded and you can have a wait but it is a good place to meet a friend .
Nice place dirst time going
1st time there. We will be back soon.
Great little place. Classic cafe where the coffee flows. Good breakfast.
Very welcoming with great food. Love that most of the art pieces hanging on their walls are from local artists.
This cafe is a true Omaha gem. From the quaint inside, to the sweet servers, and delicious homestyle breakfast- everything is great! The only issue I had was with the host who seated us. He treated us very rudely! Otherwise great experience!
This place was great
Highly disappointed. My fiancé and I had such a good experience the first time we came, which is why we decided to come back but that was a mistake. Our food took forever to come out and people who arrived after us got their food way before us, which leads me to believe our waitress forgot our order. When our food arrived it was lukewarm. My hash browns were not even cooked and the bread was a soggy mess. The saddest thing about the whole experience was that the waitress never checked on us or asked if the food was okay. The only thing she did was drop off check, safe to say we will not be back.
This is my second time having food from Lisa's. First time my mother and children and I ate in togethwr they were packed and everything great. Today about 45mins ago I ordered the Titanic and Steak and Eggs. This was a call ahead to go. The yound lady whom took my order over thw phone quoted me 5mins then quickly changed it to 10mins. my husband and I got there in 15mins. Upon arrival I had to wait an extra 5 mins with the restaurant being barely full (about 5 tables) the cook with glasses was telling at another cook about telling him what he said. So the host asks if I would like water or coffee for my wait. I say sure and ask if I could have lemonade. she says Yes. I wait some more then shortly our food comes. I go to pay and the host quotes me $24 I asked how? And how much is tax? She says well the lemonade is $1.99. Huh?? I said well I thought it was free for my wait, take it off. Why offer me a drink for my wait on my food that was 10mins late then charge me for it?!. So We get home I open my box and there's a single strand of grey hair on my steak. No biggie I just took it off but that is exactly what prompted this review and for me or any of my family to ever return.
Bad place to go to, surprised to find a sharp metal piece in my coffee.
What a breathe of fresh air! No chain atmosphere here!
Excellent food. Good service. Great coffee.
Slowest service I've ever had. Sat for over an hour wating for our entre. Waitress was rude and very hurried.
The best Sunday breakfast around.
Lisa's is one of my favorite places in town. The space is old and homey; the walls would tell stories for years, I'm sure. The food is amazing, the portions generous, and the staff friendly. Would recommend a hundred times over.
Love this place! Has tasty food and great service! *** They only take cash, so please be mindful!
This is the best breakfest spot. They always have great specials ever time we are in but the titanic is the best.
I have been in the area for about 9 months and have always known of LRC, but never taken the time to stop in. I did this week and what a shame I hadn't been enjoying the place earlier. I was here for weekday breakfast and it was busy. I can only imagine what the place is like on the weekend! I have only 2 very small gripes: hire more servers and get plates sizeably commensurate with the food you serve on them!
Man, this place is amazing. The food is good and at a good price. They got specials. And the best French toast (they also have a stuffed French toast and that's yummy too)!! Also, $1 and some change for coffee with free refills? Duh. The service is always phenomenal! The servers all work together and basically make sure your coffee is warm and filled and that things are tasting great. And that just right there, that's great service with addition, they always smiling and makes the whole visit a good one. They do get busy for weekend breakfast but I mean, that's understandable since it's so good! Definitely would recommend 100%!!
Stopped I. For breakfast. Highly disappointing. Bacon was $2.79 for a side of fat! Also saw the email older waitress dump the customers coffe back in the coffee pot!
Nice out of the way Breakfast place
BESIDES A CLOSE GO TO FAVORITE PLACE..FOOD MADE WITH CARE..LIKE YOU KNO THEY KNO HOW YOU LIKE IT.
Cool atmosphere, great staff, breakfast was awesome & portions were big. We had a 15 minute wait & it was worth every minute.!!
Love this place. Only drawback is you must pay with cash.
Friendly staff amazing food! Will defiantly return
So good that I forgot to take photos. We got the titanic and the double blueberry French toast (which was on special). They have free cups of coffee there and really eclectic decor. We have made it our go to breakfast spot when traveling to Omaha from KC.
First time there... quaint but crowded. Over sized pancakes were good but wasteful; hidden under delightful savory sausage gravy were almost burnt biscuits. We'll give it another chance but will go when we are starving and patient.
Favorite place to be in the morning. Moved nearby and my roommates and I fell in love with this place. Love the food, the vibe of the restaurant itself, the staff. Highly recommend
Let me tell yah, their bacon cheeseburger is the best burger I've had in my entire life. I highly reccomend that if you try it out, it is superb!
Great food friendly people good prices
There's a reason why the line runs out the door on weekends, the food is worth the wait
Always has amazing food... and pleasant atmosphere:)
The hot beef sandwich for lunch and the chicken fried steak with eggs for breakfast, this place is great!
Good food. Horrible service. Busy, but the waiting room wasn't even full and had to wait 45 minutes. We had 6 people, so understandable; However we waited close to an hour for food and the waitress advised us 3 different times that it was on its way out when it obviously was not.
Great service, Good food.
I love this place! Small town dinner feel with great prices along with excellent food and coffee. Only thing I would say is be careful on Sunday because if you get there anytime after 10:30 I would expect a decent wait. And also sometimes parking can be a challenge.
Very good Omaha comfort food. Enjoy the free coffee.
Really disappointed! First we was put on wait list and then they crossed us off so we waited forever, if Joe would not have asked they probably never would have noticed
Good atmosphere. Comfortable and homey feeling. Decent food. Service was good however food took quite a while to come out. They only take cash, but have an ATM. Had the Turkey cranberry with cream cheese croissant. The idea was good but the Turkey was processed. I did not care for the texture to the point where I could not finish it. The side salad was also lacking. It was simply a bagged salad mix with salad dressing. No tomatoes, croutons, cheese, or any of the typical offerings. My son had chicken fried steak and said it was the best he's ever had however. Overall, it was a mediocre experience for me.
Inexpensive good diner type food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Love Lisa's. Sometimes a wait but Hot Daniel. It's Bomb. Go to Lisa's every time. No question
Excellent service. Food came out quickly and was AMAZING!
Always busy so be patient and bring cash. Excellent service and food. A longtime, local favorite.
Visited Omaha for the day, needed cheap breakfast and found this cute little diner. Server was nice, whole staff was incredible. We went on a Tuesday afternoon but our food came out in less than 10 minutes! incredible! Good prices, good food, and welcoming people. Would recommend!
One of the waitress came by my table asked if u wanted anything to drink I said yes coffee and...... She just walked away while I was still talking. I then asked her for a box and to go cup with a top sh again walked away not listening and came back with a cup of salsa. The food was good but definitely not th service
I love Lisa's overall. I've been dining here off and on for years. My bacon on my last visit was a lil burnt but still mostly edible. The best thing I like is it is actually real food being cooked from scratch which means a lot of heart goes into it. It's only open from 9a to 2p small n quaint. There is a homemade bakery next door as well for enjoyment.
I have been here before and this time on my visit, I left grossed out. Customer service was great and I do like that they always make sure you are twnded too but who ever does the cooking is lacking. An omelet should not be runny and raw. The guy sitting across from us was trying to put egg on his toast and realized the egg was raw, literally egg whites were clear. Gross! The other times I have gone there food was delicious but the cook needs to be on his feet.
Food was awesome. Service was great. There was a little bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. Next time me and my family are in omaha this will be on our list to stop at again. Love the atmosphere.
By far my favorite place for breakfast. Hubby and I both went with the titanic, which is a plate of crispy hash browns, biscuits white gravy chicken fried steak and 2 eggs on top your way. It's a lot of good food! I ordered iced tea and hubby had coffee. Their drinks were great and never empty. The food was fabulous. Their daily specials are amazing too, as are their pancakes and stuffed French toast. Man, I could eat breakfast here every day! Highly recommended.
Excellent breakfast, the portions are large and the service is fantastic!
Cute little neighborhood restaurant
Good and service was great we are family style
This great food all the time
Love Lisa's Radial Cafe! There are many breakfast and brunch classics on the menu to choose from. They allow substitutions, though some may cost a little extra. Servings are plentiful and prices are very low compared to surrounding restaurants. Staff are super friendly and service awesome. I'll choose this place over any others!
I've been eating at Lisa's for over 20 years. Great place!
One of the best places for breakfast in Omaha. Chorizo skillets is my favorite, but the Titanic is up there too.
Was put on the waiting list for 5 people told 20 mins. Waited an hour. Then ordered our food immediately when we sat. Waited another 40 mins for food. When asked about these time staff was not very pleasant about it! Not good service and the wait was horrible!!!!
Great casual comfortable atmosphere and breakfast
Worth the wait. But that was expected. Great value and most everything on the plate rocked or close to it
Cute breakfast spot with a very local feel. Food was fantastic. The chicken fried steak was very good, I did a double take. Ordered the Titanic. At $9.99 it's a huge platter with chicken fried steak, biscuits, 2 eggs, gravy and hash browns. I don't think my picture did it justice There is counter seating, tables and a bit of booths. Parking is Street parking, but it's free(no meters). The French toast was also very good. Everything we ordered was delicious!
This is a super refreshing mom and pop restaurant. The cash only option for payment makes it retro and super cool. And the food! Ouh la la... Rather amazing. I tried their pork chop, it was cooked to the perfection, nicely seasoned, not overseasonned and my eggs were just perfect. Their french toast is huge ha ha ha Bring ur appetite and consider urself warned.
Always a great breakfast. Excellent service. Pay in cash only. Biscuits & gravy today. Yum!
Excellent service, down home style, very popular spot!
Always GREAT
It was awesome! It had the small town ma and pa feel to it in a large city. The food portions were large and the quality of food was amazing. I will go there every time im in town. The staff was awesome and the prices will keep me coming back!!!
Food was really good and the atmosphere is really... Old school like you stepped into a time machine before every restaurant was franchised. Our waitress was awesome and again the food was really tasty would definitely go again.
Nice local spot. Not the fastest. Food is good. Service is good as well Old time diner with big portions
Been here a few times. It's a really nice and busy place. Portion sizes are generous. The pancakes are HUGE! Staff is always very friendly. One thing to bear in mind is that the wait on Sunday's can be crazy. The place is very busy and there's always a lot of people. It is a cash-only place, so bring your cash. They have an ATM machine if you forget. There's a waiting area inside with free coffee too. I'll be going back again sometime.
The wait is usually awful, especially on Fri, Sat and Sun being the worst. Good food and large portions though.
My only gripe about the place is it's impossible to get in there on a sunday morning. The food is routinely excellent, the service above par, and the feel of the place is comfortable. Be aware they only take cash, no cards or checks.
My daughter's and I love this place, great food...
Really enjoyed the large portions and the atmosphere was very comfortable
If you want down home cooking and the best service in town, go to Lisa's. You will never be disappointed.
Great little cafe.small but food was good
Lisa’s Radial cafe is an awesome joint if you have never been. The food is terrific, friendly staff, great picture window to see the passerby traffic, and it was great way to start our morning when we stopped in for breakfast. I would also say that although it is a busy place, we never felt rushed and enjoyed our time at our table. Cash only place- but be sure to bring enough to tip your servers fat because you’re going to love it here! Will update with future visits.
Great burger and onion rings. Service was great.
Real food, Real people. That's the best way to sum up this breakfast joint. The parking situation is bad. There is little to no parking so get there early on Saturday mornings. Aside from that the service is good, the staff is friendly and the portions are large. When you come here come hungry. The food is good and tastes like home. Also, this place is CASH ONLY so keep that in mind.
First time trying this place and let me tell you ..,..it was so amazing I had the corozio(sorry I spelt that wrong ) but for $10 the plate was pretty hearty ...and the service was excellent and made me want to come back for more ....overall 2 thumbs up and gets a 5 star from me
Are there this morning and the food was good (not excellent) and the staff met us and initially waited on us quickly. However, trying to get coffee refills was difficult. Several staff noticed we were out of coffee and said they would get us a refill but they never came back (until we got our food). We also noticed several people who came in after us get their food before us and when we finally got our food it took a long time, ~30 minutes. We noticed the staff conversing with many of the patrons so I assume a lot of the people were regulars (which is OK) but if you are not a regular you kind of get forgotten about. Oh yea, you have to pay with CASH so make sure you take money (They have an ATM in back if needed) but the food prices were very reasonable. Don't get me wrong, very nice people. It is a good but not great place but we would probably go back if in the neighborhood but not a destination restaurant for us anyway. .
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! The portions were more than plenty!!
The breakfast is crazy good. Gonna try lunch next
Great breakfast done right everytime. Can't go wrong.
Oh my goodness, This place was great. Being new to Omaha, Lisa's almost reminds me of great cooking from the southern state of NORTH CAROLINA
Great little place. I had the Skillet chicken fried steak. Mmmmmmm
Good price for lots of delicious food
Good/fast service during the busy times, food is good as well. Modest portions.
Great food, great portions, awesome atmosphere. Very reasonably priced
Food very good with sizeable portions in a fairly small, family owned type of place. Very busy but only about a 15 min wait. Only real downside is their cash only policy.
Always good food at. Great price. Love this place!!
Excellent service, and good food. Comfortable and homelike atmosphere.
Great comfort food
Breakfast skillet excellent, side of gravy even better
Cute little joint. Great selection of food. Everything was very delicious. there was quite a bit of weight for our food, but they got us seated very quickly. It's got a bit of a hippie vibe, but I was all about it.
First time here. I have driven by many times but there is always a line out the door. Today with some persuasion from the wife and kid we stopped in for breakfast. We only waited for twenty minutes. I am glad we stopped. Are server was great, she was super friendly and had great recommendations. My son had the country club omelette. I am going to assume his was fantastic since there was nothing left in the plate and when asked for a bit he looked up and snarled at me. I had the breakfast burrito, that damn thing was huge. I couldn't eat even half. It was delicious as well. Overall this place is a win and can't wait to go back.
Quaint, wonderful staff, reminds me of a New York neighborhood deli. Loved Sunday mornings sitting at the counter reading the OWH...drinking coffee...waiting for my eggs bacon n toast. BUT....the most insane meal is the CHILI CHEESE OMELET. Everyone from Corporate Omaha to the less fortunate...came together here to enjoy.. .GREAT FOOD.
AMAZING!! Best old school diner in Omaha. Great service, great food, incredible value.
Great food Great service worth the wait
I like this place. Especially being there
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere, but beware they only take cash. They have an ATM there but it didn't work at that time, just a little inconvenient, that's why gave it four stars.
Great quality, quantity, price, and service!
Went there on a Sunday for brunch with a party of seven. They were super accommodating. Kinda small place. Great food, big portions, great prices, and super friendly staff. There wait is worth it for a bigger group Beware though, this is a cash only establishment. They do have an ATM in the back with a $2 service fee plus whatever your bank charges.
Had wonderful service here, ate some delicious wonderful monstrosity of a breakfast dish called the Titanic and loved it! I look forward to going back and trying another unique, creative menu item
Been going to this place for decades....about time I reviewed. I knew Lisa long before she owned the Cafe.....can't say the food has changed much in 30 years. THAT says something about a restaurant....consistancy!!! You don't come to Lisa's for a gourmet meal....you come for the friendly staff, the neighbourhood feeling. You come because this IS a dinner....the ones you remember from your childhood. It refuses to change. Hearty breakfasts, BLACK coffee, tenderloin sandwiches or hot roast beef. The food is tasty and plentiful. If you've never been, try it out, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time....you'll leave full and with a smile on your face.
Normally we love love love this place. Usually very good service and friendly staff. My family and I have enjoyed Lisa’s for years. Here’s some advice for the new owners. Please don’t let your hostess repeatildly & publicly spout how rude people sitting around and lingering is. I was there this past weekend with a friend. Had breakfast and a much over -due conversation to catch up. The hostess made a point to repeatedly say how rude it was that we were done with our meal and lingering at our table making other people wait. I have waited for my table fair and square many many many times over the years. Happy to do it. Fair is fair. Don’t make your guests feel like they’re being rude for supporting your business.
I love this atmosphere. Nice build your own for keto options! Eggs and bacon!
Good food and friendly staff.
One of my favorite places to be for breakfast. Foods good and staff are friendly.
Food was delicious as always (great comfort food) & when there was a mix-up w/ our bill, Emily went above & beyond to make it right. Great customer service.
Great diner ..great food and service.
Their seemed to be too many tables in a limited space. The person who seated us didn't know what was in the stuffed french toast. The food was good and the people were friendly.
It's going to be crowded and busy, but it's worth it. Fantastic service, delicious home cooked food, friendly people. Everything is fresh and the pancakes are bigger than the plates they're served on. You will NOT be disappointed! But don't forget to bring your cash - they're a cash only establishment! !
Excellant
I went to Lisa's Radial Cafe recently, and I was not very satisfied with my first experience there. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and hash browns. The biscuits and gravy were just biscuits and white country gravy, no sausage patties nor sausage chunks in the gravy. It was kinda plain tasting and biscuits were kinda small. My hash browns were partially burned and unimpresssive. I think that if your looking for a good breakfast, try the 11Worth Cafe instead. I think Lisa's Radial Cafe is trying to be like 11Worth Cafe, even their names are similar. But, they have a ways to go to catch up to 11Worth Cafe when it comes to food quality...
I’ve been here once before and came back on a Sunday, so of course it was super packed. The waiting room had fresh pots of coffee so you can get properly caffeinated before your meal. I am a vegetarian, so there are only a few options for me. So far I’ve tried the veggie skillet and the veggie melt sandwich. They were both pretty good, but nothing spectacular. I’d come back again, but I won’t be in a rush to do so.
The food at Lisa's is old-school specials at their best...no short cuts on ingredients or portion sizes. 3 generations of my family patronize this cafe...always satisfying. Waitresses are very cordial and attentive.
Very good but long wait.
This place is amazing. Friendly staff and great food. Wish I could give 6 stars.
Very historic looking diner. Interior takes you back. Friendly and attentive staff. Food is popular in the area and never seems too busy yet never seems empty. Always people there. Food is well prepared, taste good "classic" diner fare.
My favorite breakfast place in Omaha
The early bird was so much better
A very nice place to eat breakfast there's a lot of character to this place. My first time there.
Place is packed and food took forever to arrive, but YUMMMMY!
Great place for an outstanding breakfast... You should try it!!!
Cash only is no inconvenience for this food!! Worth the wait every time.
Cute place for a nice breakfast or lunch. Very friendly staff and great food.
Best pancakes in town! Very affordable too. Love Lisa's Cafe!
I was surprised by how many people were waiting for such a small diner, but the food was delicious and worth the wait. I had the stuffed French toast with a side of turkey sausage, and both items were very tasty. The waitress was also very friendly and served us promptly. The prices are very affordable as well. Highly recommended!
Good food & excellent service!
Great servings. Fast service. Fantastic food
I went with a large group and they knew we were coming. Wait quite a while to get our table. Coffee was served quickly but some were cold. Took a long time before they took our order. Food was served in a timely manner but eggs were cold. I've eaten there before and things were much better. May have been short staffed today.
An Omaha icon-- always a joy to dine there during Omaha visits.
Great food, service and price! Thanks
Waiting was very long, food and prices are great...
