I had the chopped pork sandwich “Memphis style” (topped with slaw). I don’t like slaw with a strong mayo flavor - this was perfect! My husband had the 3 meat platter with chopped pork, ribs & brisket. He said the brisket was some of the best he’s had & the side of beans had great flavor. The lunch rates are so cheap!

Their brisket is very good and tender. I liked the choice of side dishes they had available as well. Some of their other meat options that I like beyond the brisket. Burnt butz and jalapeno cheese sausage are great choices. Not to say the other options available are not good. Those are just what I preferred.

Well folks there's been an update. Had tried Famous Dave's approximately 9 months ago. Food was not so good. Went there last week thinking that possibly it would have gotten better. Sadly to say it's still in the gutter. What a shame because they used to have good food. If you wanted good BBQ you went two Famous Dave's. This one is slipping and I mean fast. One foot on a banana peel the other one on a hot skillet.

This place is dirty. The bathroom was disgusting, the tables weren't clean, the waitresses are reusing the cardboard drink coasters. Gross! I don't want my drink sitting on some used up BBQ stained coaster. Those things are meant to be thrown away. The food wasn't terrible but it was all microwaved. Why? Why is the food microwaved??? And my fiance's plate of food was soooo small. For $15 he should have gotten a decent amount of brisket. He's not even a big guy but he seriously left there with still hungry.

The ribs are fantastic and Celiac friendly. I've never gotten sick from eating at Famous Dave's. My only complaint would be that the wait staff here never seems to remove dishes from the table even when clear signs that your are finished with them are given.

It's bad when you waited 20minutes after order your drinks and you have to go to the bar your self to get them and when you have to mix your own drink because they don't know how to make a drink. Then the ribs were just over cooked and rubbery. They really need to get more help and do better training.

Love Dave's. Visited a friend and stopped here. The platter for two can feed three. We ate most of it. One if the best servers I've had. She was attentive and always smiling. Forgot her name. I'm old.

My son and I went here for lunch and it of course was delicious! We always get the 2 meat combo and share it. At lunch it was only 9.99 which was fantastic! Our food came out in an efficient time and our waitress was very nice. The manager even stopped by to check on things which I always think is a great thing. We will definitely be back!

Saturday 330 pm not many peep. Hostesses/ seaters ignored us for 6 minutes while they laughed about what someone in the kitchen did. And what the one was doing that evening. Service was excellent. Food was very good.

I've had good service each time I've been here. The food is pretty good and the portions are large. I can share a rack of ribs with my girlfriend and eat for around $30 for both of us.

Normally sit in the bar area and have great service. Favorite item is the 2 meat platter. I vary between brisket, pulled pork and the hot link sausage. All of their BBQ sauces are good, especially like their pineapple rage. Their corn muffins are great and the bread pudding dessert is amazing!

My order arrived incorrectly. Had to wait for a re-order. It used to be a real good place for ribs, not so sure anymore. On one other visit, my wife's St.Louis style ribs had look and texture of an old leather boot. It's hard to believe they think that was acceptable to serve to a customer.

My waitress was very kind and did s great job. My low score is for the quality of the food. The chopped/pulled pork had one quarter sized slice of bone, and we were spitting out chunks of grissle that really made it a bummer. Cole slaw was good, baked beans were more soupy sauce than beans and meat. The corn muffins were so browned burnt on the edges, that the muffins were dry. I guess that is what you get when you order carry out.

Very disappointed! After driving 50+ miles to Famous Dave's in Davenport IA on Nov 12, 2018, for the Veteran's Day free meal (2 meat meal), we were met with a sign saying that this location was not participating in the corporate Veteran's Day free meal as advertised on Nov 11-12! Instead they were giving a free sandwich on Nov 11 only. The food was good as usual and our server, Stephen was wonderful, apologetic and gave my husband a free beverage, and thanked him for his service. There were other Vendors, who must not have noticed the sign and ordered the free meal without asking first, they were unhappy when the check came. I did look it up online and it did say "at participating locations". So we will probably choose the Peoria, IL location next time.

It was very good. Only had one issue with something looking undercooked (it probably wasn't) and the manager replaced it right away no questions asked. The waitress was nice and accomidating but didn't hover over the table. I recommend the raspberry vodka. Very good.

Really really good brisket here! I've had it sliced as an entree and cubed on a loaded baked potato and both were delicious. Love their potato salad and also their Mac and cheese side. Can't beat their cornbread muffins. The service is friendly and prompt. A friend of mine loves their BBQ pork too.

Even though I talked down on the BBQ especially since we just had it, the brisket was the bomb! BBQ sauce was a bit spicy. Chips were good, too, just a bit salty. Food was a bit pricey.

I came with a large group from church today for lunch and they put several tables together to accommodate us. We had one server that smiled the entire time she serviced our group. For a group of 18-20 people, children included, there was only one order that was wrong and she made it right with apologies and all. I wish I was better at remembering names because she was fabulous. She was very helpful and sweet with great customer service skills. I ordered the two meat combo with famous fries, the meats were rib tips and burnt ends and a water no ice with lemon and lime. My order was perfect and oh so delicious. Sorry I don't think to take a photo of my food before digging into it but it was finger licking good.

I came here to eat a few times a while back; the food was solid. I recently went back to grab a takeout order, and there was a mouse trap visible. In addition, the food tasted like it may have been cooked at an earlier date and microwaved. The service was good, and the staff was friendly. I just wished the quality of the food was closer to what I experienced a few months ago.

A little disappointing tonight. There were only two other couples there and we waited 25 minutes for our food which would have been fine if it was good. Fried fish was luke warm and soggy. Mashed potatoes were very bland and the mac and cheese was cold. Hated spending the $120 for that!!!!!!
