A hidden gem. I would wouldn't really have considered a coffee shop attached to a gas station, but had a meeting here, and instantly fell in love. The decor is very nice, with lots of plants, and there's a small play area for kids. They have a good selection of teas, and a great selection of food and dessert from local restaurants such as Oasis and Molly's cupcakes.

What a wonderful place! A kids area, delicious local food, great coffee, a drive through...what more could you ask for! Fair prices as well. I can fill my commuter mug for about 2 bucks with great drip coffee.

Pulled through the drive through making out way through town. Staff was very friendly. My mocha was good, my wife’s espresso shot was just ok.

The place is really cozy and nicely decorated. They have a great selection of drinks other than coffee. Pastries are delicious too. The staff is friendly, that's a plus!

Organic soy milk. Organic Chai tea. Gluten-free cupcakes, which taste like a brownie with frosting on top. Lots of other bakery options. The chocolate decadence cupcake is a must have.

Amazing fresh baked scones every day! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options! The customer service is incredible and the food is to die for! Getting the fresh scones every morning is the highlight of my day. Definitely accessible, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The owner Kelly offered to carry out my bag for me to my car because of my cane. An excellent place to enjoy in Iowa city!

This is a gem of a coffee house. Locally owned by nice people. Light and relaxing atmosphere. Spacious feel with plenty of seating. Local foods brought in, including Molly's Cupcakes. Coffee is delicious and very reasonable starting at $2 a cup. If you love good coffee, go here. You won't regret it. I didn't and I'm going back.

My family was traveling through to Illinois when we needed to stop for gas and use the restroom. Had to walk through the coffee shop to get to the restroom, and decided, why not get coffee too? The coffee was delicious and very friendly staff, but the real winner was the play area. It was perfect for my 20 month old. Thank you so much to the owners for creating a space for kids in your shop. This is a gem of a coffee shop, and if I lived close by would be visiting frequently.

This was my first visit and I was totally impressed. The girl behind the counter was very helpful, polite and had a pleasant personality. She was very busy keeping the customers happy and keeping the place clean. I highly recommend this place to all. I believe the girl's name is Tessa.

What a breath of fresh air to the north side of Iowa City! Dodge Street Coffee is the perfect place for a meeting with clients, friends, or to catch up on some work. They have an adorable kid play space that gives busy parents a bit of respite while sipping on a coffee. To go options for food are plentiful and allergy friendly. The bakery selection is insane, everything from delicious scones to cupcakes. There is something for everyone. Add in the fact this is a local women-owned business and somehow it gets even better. Love this place, visit often.
