This is, without a doubt, my favorite lunch spot downtown. The service is unbeatable. It's like walking into a soup counter version of Cheers, where everybody knows your name. Everything I've had there is absolutely delicious, from the wide variety of soups throughout the month, to the wraps, salads, Pat's cookies, and cornbread. I've only been downtown for a few months, but they've gained a lifelong customer! Can't recommend enough!

Amazing local spot to grab a quick lunch. It's a carry out but it is absolutely delicious! They make everything from scratch there. I was visiting Indy and I wanted to stay away from the national food chains and Subito was a great find! I went there every day since I found it. My personal favorites: spinach salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette and caprese sandwich! Oh and the staff is also super nice!! They gave me a sample of their cookies which are also DELICIOUS!

This has become my go-to takeaway lunch place in downtown Indy for good reason - the food is really awesome, and the service is super friendly. Their soups are all good... I haven't had a bad one yet and a number cross into the really stellar category. Salads are fantastic when you need some greens... could add half a bowl of soup for a reasonable amount. And their sandwiches (most are panini style) hit the spot when you need something filling. If that wasn't enough, their cookies and other desserts are excellent as well. Everything is made from scratch, and it shows in the flavor.

The pork pozole was just as good as I'd imagined it to be and I loved the fresh baked garda rolls. I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door all the way through the last drop of my soup. All the ingredients were fresh and homemade. In fact I ordered some soup to take home to my LO that is allergic to milk, wheat, eggs, and soy! I very rarely find places that have any options for her. My Cuban sandwich was amazing as were the peanut and Brazilian chicken soups my husband and I had! I will make sure to go back every time we are in Indy.

Great place enjoyed my food. Everything had lots of flavor and the staff were great. I ordered the Pollo Sandwich with a side of Brazilian Chicken Soup. The sandwich was very good and interesting, it was a non-messy barbecue chicken sandwich and I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure what the Brazilian Chicken Soup tasted like as I didn't get it in my bag, I received Gumbo. But on the bright side the Gumbo was good, but I wanted my soup....lol. But overall with the customer service and the flavorful options you should try this place. I'm definitely going back!

This will be a new favorite downtown lunch spot. The country vegetable soup was flavorful and I actually felt full afterwards. The prices are reasonable, they have dietary notes on all of the soups, and you can pick up a menu for the entire month.

Great little "hole in the wall" serving outstanding soups and sandwiches. The staff is friendly, the food is outstanding. There are no tables or seats here, it is to go only. At lunch there is a crowd, often out the door, but it doesn't take long to get through the line. Every bowl of soup comes with their amazing fresh baked rolls. Give them a try, you will be back again if you do.

It’s like you’ve seen the face of God. Somewhere, on the gold brick lined streets of heaven, there’s a soup shop that serves soup from Subito in bulk. Do yourself a favor, stop in for lunch. My favorite is the pork green chile verde. But you can’t go wrong.

Insanely delicious. I'm a vegetarian who didn't even like vegetables until I came here. The soups are packed with goodness, the broths/bases are rich and creamy. The flavors are really stunning. The Garda rolls and grilled cheeses are oh so good. I've also had the Giovanni sandwich which is delightful. It's not possible to be disappointed here - unless they've run out of their soup of the day! Come early so you don't miss out!

Not only the best Reuben I've ever had, but in contention for the best sandwich I've ever had. Ever. Seriously, this place is a must-try. It was busy when we stopped by on lunch mid-week but the staff kept the lines moving quickly and efficiently. They were all so friendly too! Although a pleasant demeanor is not totally necessary it is always a plus - they even remembered the names of people who walked in behind us. One of the guys recommended the Reuben and I think it's changed my standards for sandwiches forever. The soup was phenomenal too, and the freshly baked bread was to die for. This is going to be hard on my resolution to cut back on eating out downtown on lunches...

Call to verify I don’t remember the amount. We took the walk from the convention center to pickup for 8 people and could have had free delivery for our large order. Really good food and good people. Food = Incredible. Location = Horrible. Honestly, this is some of the best soup I've ever had. Also honestly, if you aren't within walking distance, don't even try and drive here between the hours of 11 and 1. The parking situation is just horrific. Subito is on a small diagonal strip surrounded by 4 one-way streets. The only available parking is street parking, and that is always full. So you end up circling the block a few times, hoping to hit the lottery, and eventually you just have to give up. When I go with co-workers, we will drop someone off for all the orders and continue driving around, but when you are solo, you need to find a spot, and these simply don't exist during the lunch hour. It is such a shame. I can go to any restaurant on Mass Avenue during the lunch hour and find a spot to park. But due to it's location, I rarely even try anymore with Subito. I would say less than 30% of the time I'm able to find a parking spot. Hopefully, these guys can eventually relocate to a better spot in the city. This one-block stretch of Virginia Ave is literally the worst spot in the downtown area.
