My husband and I stopped in today and had a first rate experience. We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Alex. It was truly a pleasure meeting you Alex. I have always been a Godiva dark chocolate kinda girl, but not anymore. I am now a South Bend Chocolate Company kinda girl. Unfortunately we head back to Orlando first thing in the morning with only memories of the best chocolate company EVER!

A young woman that works here was running around helping tons of customers and she was still super friendly and helpful. She explained some of the different chocolates and the different coffee roasts patiently while being really busy. I love chocolate and she made the experience so much better!

Expensive and I personally don't think the chocolate is that great. Harry and David is better. This is unfortunate since I'd like to buy from local chocolatier, but I take my chocolate calories seriously. They do have nice packages for gifts, but again, expensive and not much product in the packages.

Cozy place on the circle. I'm not the biggest chocolate fanatic so the high priced fudge and chocolate was not high on my list. The logo bar was great and fairly priced

Their ice cream is okay but the people working there were very unprofessional. They were on their phones on personal conversations and cussing. We waited and watched her complain about her son then when she got off the phone she asked what did we want, and then she got back on her phone when it rang without giving us a chance to say anything! She even asked me if I wanted to leave a tip. Who does that? I won't be coming back here. Plus the seating outside had homeless sleeping there.

It wasn't what I expected but I liked this place. It is not a place to go and grab like a breakfast sandwich or any type of food as such, but it does sell coffee, soda, juice, and a huge variety of pretzels, chocolates, and other sweets. So if you are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth this place is one to stop by.

1 star for not stocking lids and not making that well known BEFORE purchase. Now I'm heading to my car with a open cup of hot chocolate. Other than that my drink was too sweet. Tasted like pure sugar not so much chocolate but that's just me. Some may like it that way. I won't be a repeat customer, this spot is not for me.

Disappointed This was a 2 dip cone. I had to correct to the lady to the correct flavor on bit scoops. Very small portions. Ice cream was soupy. We were told it was just warm. Definitely not worth the 11 bucks I spent. Should have gone to steak and shake.

I look forward to making a trip here again. So many things to choose from! I ordered a small grasshopper ice cream and my friend ordered a small chocolate covered cherry, each came with a malt ball and we paid less than $8, but a small is more than you get other places. Both were delicious!! I bought some fudge to take home, it's so creamy. Very good prices.

When you visit the circle, this stop is a must. It's crowded, but grab a hot chocolate or icecream to enjoy with your friends or family, and the treat is worth the wait. It's also a nice place for a souvenir.

An Indianapolis Indiana must visit. Right on the Monument Circle where the governor's mansion used to be. Get an ice cream cone and sit on the steps of the monument. Watch The motorcycles and horse-drawn carriages go around the circle. A fun very cheap afternoon. Highly highly highly recommended.

Horrible coffee drinks. You'd think they will be able to make a mocha but you'd be wrong. We waited for 30 min to get a lukewarm mess with submerged cocktail cherries. Too sweet but no chocolate or coffee taste whatsoever. Go to Starbucks.

I love chocolate! I seek it out wherever I go. This is most likely the worst I've ever had. I tasted (free sample) a malted milk ball. It wasn't good. While this should have been a good indication, lots of places don't have good m.m. balls. I got a couple of different chocolates. The picture is a orange cream. NOT very creamy. Stale, and that's a compliment! Very dry and not even a good orange flavor. I don't know why this place has a good rating! Going back to the malted milk balls...if you're ever in the airport, go to Natalie's near the American gates. Best malted milk balls I've had in a long time! This place is waaaaay overpriced! I seriously wouldn't eat the chocolate candy if it was free! I'm only here until 5 am in the morning. If I was going to be here long enough, I'd go ask for a refund. The candy is literally going into the trash.

Treat for your sweet tooth! Great place for chocolate, ice cream and milkshakes! The service is quick but the desserts are slightly pricey. The location is a big plus as you can hang out with your loved ones after a meal and walk around downtown. Love their chocolate eruption cheesecake (I am drooling writing this!) and chocolate milkshake! Definitely recommend this place! Try for yourself and enjoy your dessert! Cheers! :D

DO NOT eat their frozen yogurt!!! 1. The frozen yogurt section was completely unattended. There's a cash register in the store, but no one worked in there. There were no signs telling us to pay in the chocolate store. 2. They do not have sample cups to try to flavors 3. The fruit toppings were moldy. When I brought this to the worker's attention, she didn't seem to care. I had to ASK her to check the other fruits, for some reason it didn't occur to her to go check on the completely unattended store..... 4. The cookie topping was stale. This place doesn't even deserve one star.

The products are great, but the service is seriously lacking. My coworkers and I went in for a late afternoon snack to celebrate a birthday, but were chastised for sampling the ice cream, and treated like we were a burden on their day. We all ordered small cups (2scoops) and those of us who sampled the limit of 2 flavors, were only given 1 scoop. When we asked the employees why we only received 1 while others received 2, we were told “well you had samples so you only get 1 scoop!” The experience was not worth the money spent.

Good coffee went there to do some homework on a Saturday night I'm not from Indy I found out it's really really loud outside. All the commotion made it a little difficult to work. The wifi went out every 5 minutes which made it difficult to work as well. If your going there to eat drink and socialize is a winner. Although if you want to do homework or something that requires focus and a solid internet connection go somewhere else.

Pretty standard fare and nothing too spectacular. The chocolate is all slightly dull and gray which I take to be improperly tempered or stored. I expect chocolate to be slightly shiny, with a nice snap when bit into. So I guess if you are looking to satify your sweet tooth, this will serve. As for me, I reserve the calories for something beyond mass produced.

It's a fun little chocolate shop that is located in the heart of Indy. They have all sorts of confectionery items and would recommend heading in for some pastry and coffee. There is also a huge stuffed bear at the entrance to the store that you can take pictures with. Chocolate is good and lots to choose from.

I don't know if it's the best chocolate milk I've ever had, but it's very good. Plenty for everyone to drink, and a few snacks as well. Just note that seating is very limited inside, so be prepared to take your order to go.

I went to college in south bend so I developed a taste for this place at an early age. When I moved to Indy I was so glad to learn that this was located on the circle. I’ll be honest that I usually only come here when it’s cold, I know they have awesome ice cream but I’m just a big fan of the hot chocolate, and looking at the lights on the circle. Service is always quick, and the store is always clean, the classic bear is always decorated for the season, the displays are set up in a way that just makes you want to shop! There is a separate little room off to the side that people can sit in as well. I noticed that there is a frozen yogurt place attached, I’ll have to head back and check that out. My go to drink here is the Mexican hot chocolate, it’s chocolatey spicy goodness and prefect for cold weather!

Despite it being very busy (it was the day before Christmas on a beautiful evening), the staff handled it politely and professionally, even with the rush on hot chocolates! A gentleman in line asked me if they sold their hot chocolate mix and I replied, I don't think so...they make it from actual chocolate. Truly the best hot chocolate in town. All flavors are equally delicious, dark, white, regular, peppermint, cherry, etc. A family tradition for over 20 years!

Crappy service today. I usually buy $30 worth of chocolate once a month since I fly into Indy about every 30 - 45 days. I was waiting to be waited on by this young b***** to get my usual chocolate order and she felt that it was more important to ignor customers standing in front of the chocolate counter and fill up bins than to ask what we might want. When she filled the last bin and went back to close the box I walked off. NEVER AGAIN. DONE. Your hiring practices obviously suck!

TSBCC is a great place to take someone on a first date or 37th date: you can share a slice of cheesecake or chocolate cake, you can munch on some delicious Indiana made chocolates. Is it cold? These folks are awesome. My boyfriend and I went to this location while on vacation a couple weeks ago. The customer service was lacking and the chocolate wasn't great. My boyfriend sent an email to their website explaining our experience, and he received email responses promptly apologizing for the bad experience. A few days later he also received a handwritten letter from the president of the company apologizing for the experience and telling us they had rectified the situation. And today fedex dropped off a box of chocolate. This company has gone above and beyond to apologize for what I now assume was a fluke. We will definitely go back the next time we are Indianapolis.
