I must know how they season their popcorn. The smell of the popcorn alone drew me into their gorgeous bar and lounge. The glass lamps hanging around the room were unbelievably gorgeous and added so much warmth to the space. I'd recommend that anyone try their 'soup of the day' cocktail. The hummus trio is perfect to split for two (or enjoy it all on your own).

I was here for Miracle on South Street event. Was a Wednesday. I think during weekends should be extremely crowded and has limited entrance capacity due to fire department. So if you really want to go try a weekday. One drink was $15 with automatic 18% tip. I have never like when you impose me a tip even when I usually tip 20% after all wasn't and above and beyond service, probably because they've tips granted.

Good drinks. Comfortable. Popcorn is good. Many specialty cocktails. The lights from the ceiling are cool. Check out the floor tile. I visited on race weekend and there were a ton of dudes. Interesting views of the city and the YMCA.

Great cocktails! Staff is friendly and the ambience is good. They have a bar area and a seated (table) area. You can chose where you want to spend the your time. It is not a good place if you are looking for a sumptuous meal. Plat 99 only offers a wide variety of appetiser that go well with the drinks. We had a liquid nitrogen cocktail that was so interesting visually.

Amazing craft cocktails and local draft beer selection. The lights hanging from the ceiling were remarkable. Great spot to watch game 7 of the NBA finals. Wonderful staff. Never had to ask for anything.

They have great appetizers and drinks. The popcorn is delicious and a great light snack to start the night. I had a beer which they had a great selection for people who are not huge liquor fans. Very pretty at night, you can see the lights from the streets. Definitely a good spot to hit if you’re feeling fancy, and a good date night location downtown if you don’t feel like dealing with the hectic nature of mass ave.

Awesome place to have a cocktail or a nice coffee. Their cocktail selection is more extensive then their hot drinks selection but the drinks are good. The prices are a little on the pricey side but not by a lot. The place is comfortable and situated on the second floor of The Alexander Hotel. The views are nice too and the staff is kind. I would highly recommend having an evening coffee here!

Cool decor and atmosphere, and beyond delicious eclectic food and drinks. We loved everything that we ordered--from the housemade potato chips and farinette to the reuben bread and cuban sandwich (and complimentary truffle popcorn). We happened to be staying in the Alexander when we ate here the first time, but we'd make the trip back just for Plat 99.

Awesome place to grab a drink with the wife! Do be aware that on the north side of the actual bar itself is a metal section that gets very hot. I didn't see the sign and I got a second degree burn, but that was my own fault.

Memorable decor. They've changed their bar menu and made it MUCH more limited. The hummus is rather sweet. Very nice location and views.

Wow this was absolutely amazing. I did the pour and play mixology class for my 30th birthday and was absolutely blown away. It was absolutely expensive no doubt about it, but I feel like it was worth the experience and the occasion. I was told there would be a few appetizers set but and there was SO MUCH amazing food. I was so impressed. There was hummus, charcuterie plates, giant meatballs, breads, tiny pickles, carrots and probably more I'm forgetting. It was really good and I totally wasn't expecting such a spread, it was very delicious. They had us all sit and explained the plan, which is to get us comfortable making some mixed drinks. Then one at a time we went up and their bartender helped us to make something unique that we would want. Not one of the ten people in my party, came away not liking their drink. If you arrive on time there's time for two drinks lol! My guests all got there a little late so we ended up having to run to our dinner reservation after we all made one. It was absolutely amazing, I totally loved it. It was a great 30th birthday event, it would be a great bachelorette or bachelor party event too. Everyone was SO NICE and the process was easy (I did it absolutely last minute too). They even did a separate one on one w one of my guests at the end who specifically wanted some info on tiki drinks. Great experience, if you need a classy special event, this one is definitely it.

Came down from our room to get a coffee and kahlua. They only had French press which was fine but the bartender used luke warm tap water to make the coffee....not ok. The coffee was $4 and the shot of booze in it $9. So $13 for a tap water coffee that was gross. I had a cocktail from the menu as well which tasted good but the service left much to be desired. Then, about an hour later, we ordered a bottle of white white to the room and it came room temperature. Not sure if that’s the bar or the restaurants fault but it was disappointing. Overall, for such a nice and upscale hotel the experience with their bar was not good.
