The atmosphere is great! The walls are beautifully decorated in such a unique way. The food menu is filled with a plethora of options and I didn't have to wait long. Keep in mind, when it's busy the service will be quite slow which was my experience. Finally, their drink selection was just fine and was made quite strong! Condado is definitely a unique place to visit while on Mass Ave.

This place has the best margaritas in town. The chips and guacamole are also fantastic. This place is great for drinks and hanging out with friends. I gave them four stars because the service is poor and the bathrooms are not clean. It is always really busy and the servers are young. Don’t expect top notch service.

For someone who doesn’t leave reviews I must say Candado’s food is subpar. If you are looking for a new place to eat this is an average choice for Mexican food. Although the space is well designed, you are better off going to Chipotle. Service delivery time is slow. We have been here twice and have been given the wrong food both times.

Condado tacos are the best in Indianapolis. You can order your tacos whichever way you'd like them with the build your own paper ordering. Don't like peppers or tomatoes? Don't add them. Get what you like. My opinion: the Sweet Lucy and Juju taco shells are out of this world. Great queso. Model Negro on draft. What more to say?

Pros: Nice atmosphere. Queso was good Cons: the service it’s terrible. We waited 30 minutes for a margarita, it never came, we just cancelled it. The chips came out and were literally all grease. It’s been 40 minutes and we haven’t seen our food. All the tables around us are covered in trash because nobody is cleaning the tables when the customers leave. Very disappointed to say the least

Debated on leaving a review, but feel it's important for management to see feedback. Came in after work yesterday with a group of people. We were sat quickly and drinks came fast. Off to a great start. As we were preparing our taco lists we then saw a mouse run across the floor. Ok, it's downtown, mice and rodents are a thing. However this mouse continued to run around while staff chased it, cornered it, and caught it. We then noticed the large water issue where water was puddling up on the floor and servers were walking through it. We were greeted by the manager who apologized and comped our drinks and stated the building was having plumbing issues which likely then caused the rodent to come out. I get that these things happen and honestly I'm sure other places have mice in their buildings as well. I would have liked to see the place close until the problem was fixed. Walking through water is unsanitary and spreads things around the restaurant on the bottoms of shoes. I'm not sure I'll give it another try, but hopefully this problem got resolved. The drinks were delicious and staff were very friendly. Overall just an unfortunate experience and situation.

The food at Condado was excellent! We had the blanco queso and corn salsa with chips to start and both were delicious. The margaritas were very good and a nice complement to the dinner. All the tacos were very good. I tried several of the chicken options and liked the Ooey Gooey and the one with the firecracker shell. We had a little issue with our order but the manager Zach was very apologetic and went out of his way to make everything right. I'd recommend that they work some kinks out if their back end order management system to speed orders and lower issues, but that's a minor thing. Overall we were very happy and still be sure to come back!

Extremely disappointed. We live 5 minutes (walking distance) and were extremely excited for condado's grand opening! We waited out the crowd of FDIC and the grand opening crowds and went a few days later. Not only was service very slow, they were out of so many products! From the queso of the month, steak and rice just to name a few. Personally as a store manager for retail/food I was not only unpleased with the service, speed and professionalism but also cleanliness. If you're wanting tacos on mass ave, head to Bakersfield. Better food and better margaritas.

I had such high hopes, having had such wonderful experiences at the Broad Ripple location. But, this trip fell completely flat. First thing through the door, once seated, we are told they are out of guacamole. And then, I am told they are out of Jack fruit and portobello mushrooms. So...two out of three non-meat options. Maybe in a few more months, when management has learned to forecast their sales, and order accordingly, we might try again.

Delicious tacos! My only gripe is they make you fill out a order form at the table. The ingredients for taco construction are in a column so you put what you want into that column then put how many you want. Voila right? That works if you just want 3 chicken tacos with the same toppings. But what if you want more? Don't worry, there is another column. But what if I want a chicken, steak, and shrimp taco? That's right....I have to fill out a completely separate form. The waitress was very nice when she had to correct me twice on how to do it. Don't make my mistakes and fill it out right the first time. P.S. don't try to add your own column either, that won't make it past the waitress.

The service was slow and forgetful but friendly enough. The dips were decent but I ordered three different menu tacos and they were underwhelming. One of them I couldn't eat a second bite. It was gross. The other two were pretty bland. I'm not a picky eater. The ambiance was cool and the restaurant was clean but the food doesn't make me want to come back.

I came in to check the place out for the first time. Lively ambiance, kind of reminds me of a place on the west coast. The tacos were good, but it baffles me how they came out wrong three times when you personally write the order down and take it to the kitchen. After the third time, I just ate what I had. Meh on the overall experience.

Located in the hep Mass Ave in downtown Indy this place excels in Mexican cuisine with a simple goal -- eat more tacos! :) They have some really amazing tacos as well as make your own tacos. Interesting ingredients include jackfruit, and fun variations include two layered shells (hard corn plus soft flour). The decor is fantastic.

Sneaky margaritas and vegan tacos make Mondays better. The vegan options are plentiful, flavorful, and consistent. Trust me when I say pick a fruit flavored margarita and add the jalepeno flavor...you won't be sorry. Also, hope for Melissa to be your lunch rush server, she's super fast and attentive, and pours great drinks! Atmosphere is friendly and vibrant, plenty of seating, and a menu even a taco purist can love.

This is my second time here and the service sucks so bad that we won’t be back. The food is good. The service - wow. I’m not sure where our waiter disappeared to every time but we had to literally ask for everything at least twice to get it. The hostesses, stayed in their station the whole time. Once one came to apologize to us and one of the other waiters, who started our order because she couldn’t find our waiter, also apologized to us. Get it together Condado...this is horrible!

I love this place. For Mass Ave, it's a good price. The tacos are amazing, and really big so you are probably good with 1 or 2, and they have happy hour drink specials(5 dollar margaritas!). I liked the tacos but the steak was quite spicey. I cant really take the heat but if you like spice you might be a fan. I had plain hard shell with steak, fajita peppers and queso cheese. The iced tea was not sweetened. Bummer. Very young vibe on a weekend night and quite loud. Couldn't really have a conversation. You have to write your own order at the table. They were also out of bottled beer. Another strike. The Guacamole was good too but also spicey. Chips are very salty if that matters and seating is somewhat discombobulated. Overall it wasn't a horrible visit but not impressive.

We decided to have our last dinner of our fall break trip here, since we saw a lot of people bringing dogs and we had a dog with us. Ordered chips and salsa along with tacos and drinks. 40 minutes later, all we have are drinks, and we can see other tables who arrived much later than us were already enjoying their chips, so I made a complaint. Our waitress brought tacos right after that but still no sign of chips. Then the manager came to our table, apologizing, so I told him that we still did not see our chips and then they finally arrive. To be fair, they did not charge us for our food and offered $20 gift card, but I honesty do not want to go back since I suspect the same horrible service will be repeated again. I felt bad for our waitress and gave her some tip and on our way out we see another dog with water bowl, WHICH WE WERE NEVER ASKED IF OUR DOG NEEDS. So I was gonna give at least a two star but not anymore. I have no clue why we were treated differently compared to other tables but this is beyond ridiculous and I am by no means ever setting foot here again.

If you are ordering a bowl or a taco get one or the other because they are packed and they are filling. I ordered a bowl and I have to take my taco home. Personally I got the Bubba Kush taco. Have not tried it yet have to take it home got to full off the bowl

Had a server tonight that told me n my wife after we got there that he has been drinking on the clock with red bull because you cant smell the alcohol, and that he's been taking Adderall on top of that, but that's beside the point after numerous of times of reaching over my food and drink at the end of my service he ask why he didn't get a tip, (side note I invited guest there which it was ones bday, which he was rude to her and ask her to hurry up with her order) and was argumentative about not having a tip,

There are no menus, only confusing order forms that you fill out yourself. Servers are lazy excuses for do-nothing employees. They only bring your order form to the kitchen and take your drink order; telling them that you've never been there before doesn't warrant any kind of explanation of the menu choices. Food runners bring your food, bar runners bring your drinks, and bussers clear your table. The food was lackadaisical and the margaritas were laughably bad. The bare walls and high, unfinished ceilings make for a loud environment. Honestly the worst dining experience I've had in years. If I wanted better service, tastier food, and cheaper prices I'd go to taco bell, and I wouldn't regret a bite of it.

I frequently go to Condado, and I enjoy the tacos here. However, today I had a negative experience. I ordered two tacos through online pickup and when I got home there was only one sad taco. This isn't a big deal, but when I called in I was redirected to a lady whose response was (I was not rude- I work in customer service and I get mistakes) "I definitely put two tacos in there" accusing me of lying. After making it clear that was not the case, she continued to have a rude tone. I just want one more taco. Still hungry. Otherwise I've had solid experiences.

Fresh, fantastic tacos. Sauces are outstanding - especially Condado taco sauce (spicy) and chimichurri (sp). Peach-jalapeno marg on the rocks is crazy good. I would give 5 stars if the chips were served warm. They're still delicious, but would be better served warm. And don't miss out on the guacamole.

Lemme tell y'all a little something... Great tacos! Excellent, but I noticed that the hosts we're obviously new, and as a person who worked as a host and started a restaurant, it killed me to see that. Oh, and the servers were terrible. Didn't know how to work the technology, they gave us another tables bill which resulted in us paying an extra $20. It was terrible. Whoever the manager is, they need to stop this nonsense right now, and run a restaurant or get out. I would do an infinitley better job as manager or a server. I have some experience but I would at least close shop for one day in order to teach the staff on how to properly use the technology, and to get the hosts to know the table numbers, like it's not rocket science. And they delivered the wrong tacos to my table as well. When I did receive my food it was great, but that was about an hour and ten minutes after I ordered it.

The food is excellent. We had a party of six and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Our server was friendly and attentive. My wife and I enjoyed sharing the margarita flight. The prices seemed to be reasonable; a $5 serving of nachos was huge. The noise level because of the high ceilings and concrete floors was very high. This place is not conducive to conversing with those you are dining with. When we left, my ears felt like we had been at a rock concert.

Love these tacos! The order forms are really interesting and on one hand, I sometimes find it hard to remember EXACTLY what I ordered last time (always forget to take a picture) but on the other hand, I usually end up trying something a little different everytime I go, and I've never been disappointed. If you're having difficulties crafting a taco of your own, you can always try for one of their premade/suggested tacos as well. Either way, you can't really go wrong. The atmosphere is also pretty awesome and the queso dip is a must try.

We got there around 4:20 PM and there were only 5 tables in the restaurant and a few people at the bar. We sat down and waited for about 10 minutes with no server that came over to help. There were 4 servers sitting at a table nearby who saw us sit down and they just sat and continued their conversation. 2 servers walked by us and saw we didn't have drinks or were greeted. One server ignored us completely when we tried to wave her down. We finally got up and left, which was disappointing because we had really wanted to try this place out! As we were leaving we told the host no one came to help and that we were leaving because of that, and he just laughed at us. Strongly disappointed and we will not come back if that is how they treat customers.

Awesome vibe and decor. The house margarita was solid and it was priced fairly. Food overall was average, but the portions were good. Tacos were okay but not amazing. The guacamole was disappointing, since most places nowadays make it fresh in house. This guac was made in a blender and it definitely wasn't fresh. Although the food is average, it's still a nice spot with good vibes and decent drunk food.

The location downtown is only a block away from my work so it is my new favorite spot for lunch! The food is phenomenal, the perfect style of Mexican in my opinion. Just stopped by the new location on mass ave. It was opening night, so naturally the place was packed. I walked in with three friends and asked how long the wait would be. Hostess was incredibly rude. Wouldn’t answer our questions about wait time or if we could grab a drink while waiting, she just kept saying “it’s opening night” and raising her voice. I get that, but maybe let some first timers know if you can at least grab a drink. I’m a server and I would never act the way this hostess was acting, when instead, she could have thanked us for checking them out opening night and directed us to a good place to wait. Her attitude pushed us to choose another restaurant tonight. Not a good way to represent your business on the first day.

Went here for Taco's. We were not disappointed! You bring your own tacos here. The offerings are huge to chose from. Tried their taco of the month: cheese steak. It was awesome and delicious! These are not small taco's. Location is clean, well maintained and cool decorating inside! Service was great! Server was Kyler was awesome! Only negative was their beer was not ice cold.....just cool bordering on lukewarm. We will be back! Overall, we loved it!

Tried the new place. Very exciting and almost overwhelming. So many options. The drinks were good and decently priced. The atmosphere was very energetic with grand, colorful murals everywhere. Good music. The chips are greasy and hard like others have said. We even tried the Tres Amigo dip special ($15): The salsa was sub-par, the cheese was flavorless with a few special toppings and the guac wasn't special. But the tacos (some $5 each!)....alas, too many options and not enough flavor. I made two of my own with their paper slips (ground beef and steak) and then ordered Lucy's special. Not much to come back for. I tried 3 of their odd combos of shells for each taco. I didn't even finish two of them. These concept places always seem to miss the mark on quality and flavor. My wife ordered the Thai tofu bowl (not very many vegan/vegetarian options) and was surprised to have lots of breading with Asian-flavored chili sauce instead of Thai - it's not the same thing. The rice was super plain and sticky. They definitely don't beat out Bakersfield on Mass. They don't even offer just pescatarian tacos like fish or shrimp only. Neat place but might only go back for drinks....maybe.

Tacos and service were both great. Here's my beef: their "side" of rice is in one of those tiny condiment cups you might squirt a bit of ketchup into. Not even a mouthful! It's rice, for goodness sake; it's not expensive.

Service was poor. They were extremely understaffed and to even get drinks it took over 30 min. Be prepared to wait another up for food then your waiter will disappear when ur ready for check. Food wasn't great at all- chips are greasy and extremely hard (i had nachos). My friend couldn't each her steak tacos because they were too tough. Margaritas were good. Conclusion- there's many other, better places to spend your money.

Food was outstanding! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the service was terrible. Server was very forgetful, not knowledgeable about the products, and missing half of the time. Gave them another shot today. Food is still fantastic but service and drinks leave something to be desired.

Food is very good, and I love the atmosphere! Staff and servers are friendly and helpful. 4 stars because every time I've been the kitchen was slow to make the food, and forgot ingredients that are marked on a Scantron style menu. Maybe red colored erasable pencils would help make the filled bubbles more visibly clear for the kitchen staff. The servers are always quick at getting the missing ingredients.

I very much enjoyed the food every time ive been that atmosphere is fun and unique which is a plus however there are a few things this location could use. Either better trained or more staff the customer to staff ratio is too high. There should be sound dampening on the ceiling with how packed this place is and how high the ceilings are noise carries easily. Finnaly thw customer should be shown the bill not just told what they owe at the end of the meal I like to make sure everything is correct before I pay. Overall though the food is worth the trip.

Very good tacos and a lot for the price. I got the beef tex--mex soft tacos and they were very good and with the Mexican Chimichurri it was even better. The server did a great job explaining the menu and did a great job throughout the meal. We will for sure be back. I think this is our new favorite taco place in Indianapolis and Central Indiana.

pros: vast selection of ingredients and drinks. good tacos. good service. cons: dubious price quality ratio. space is too loud when crowded. 5 tacos, chips and salsa, one tiny order of rice and beans, and 2 beers cost over $40. can get much better deals around town with equal quality.

First time at this new Mass Avenue spot and it might be the last. First, arriving after 9pm, I was assaulted by the noise level. With 20’ concrete ceiling, floors and walls, the sound just reverberated. OSHA should look into noise levels it was so bad. We ordered drinks and got the complementary chips. The chips were thick and crunchy (not in a good way) and with no corn flavor. The house salsa had a good chipotle flavor with a nice heat level. The drinks arrived and the house margarita was too sweet. I thought the beer had a good price until I saw it arrived in a 12 ounce canning jar. I will say the tacos were good, but it took 20+ minutes for the order to arrive with only maybe 10 tables occupied in the restaurant.

We went in for grand opening night and I must say that it was pretty good. The food was amazing, the service was a little unorganized but with it being their grand opening they tried to keep up with the crowd and wasn't very successful. I will return, after all of the buzz dies down

No no no no no. Dont waste your night or your money! Like a taco bell cafeteria. Lousy margarita that is below average sour mix. No salt...didn't even offer. 3 different food lists that you have to fill out in order to order...just for stuff to be wrong anyways. Sporks. Doesnt come with anything, so pretty overpriced. Meat ok, but really very average food with cold corn taco shells or flour tortillas. Do yourself a favor & go to chipotle, or make yourself a burrito at home. It will be way better.

Mass Ave indy Condado does it right! Been there several times in person but also ordered on doorDash. DoorDasher left without the full order and Condado manager delivered the rest himself. Could suggest them more!
