Here you will see all the reviews of real people who bought the products of Café Patachou (Coffee Shop) near to the state of Indiana.
Right now the business receives a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 and that score has been based on 1279 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is basically the best one, and it is founded on a large number of reviews, so we can be pretty sure that the evaluation is very reliable. If people have bothered to leave their score when they've done well with the business, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to place feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Coffee Shop corresponds to the category of American restaurant.
I’m not sure if there’s a better bistro like restaurant in the city! They serve locks and bagels to James, amazing sandwiches and pay attention to detail! We have a tradition to go here on birthdays in the family:)
Cute cafe environment with amazing customer service! I asked for an additional topping on a sandwich and they forgot it so I told them and they gave me a whole new sandwich for free even though I said it was fine and wasn't mad at all. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't get charged for it. They were so great and insisted I have a new sandwich. Both were delicious! Thank you so much!
Amazing!! We found this place while in town for the Harry Potter wizard's unite festival, and the food is fantastic! The sourdough toast is the things that dreams are made of! The eggs were done perfectly, I have never had such a well done over easy egg. Our waitress was incredibly nice, and took great care of us. We will come back whenever we are in town!!
I went there on a road trip with a friend, we wanted to eat somewhere we hadn't been to before. I got the house baked turkey on Croissant and it was so good,I would definitely get it again, my friend got the chicken salad sandwich that I almost got, she loved hers. Both of ours were good size portions. We were going to get cake but did not because the price was more than we seen online.Thats why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
Food is never bad but lacks finishing flavors and textures that make the food truly enjoyable. The coffee is good. The price is a bit high considering the food doesn't quite shine flavor and texture wise
Every time I'm in or around the Indiannapolis Area and I need breakfast, I always come here. The staff are super nice and very attentive, the pancakes and yoghurt is absolutely to die for and it's all at a really good price too! The atmosphere is very welcoming and modern, seriously if you get the chance drop on in, you don't want to miss out!
Great breakfast and lunch spot, right downtown in the middle of everything. Awesome gluten free brownie.
I came down to Indianapolis for the weekend and the sign of "Radically Better Coffee" across from a Starbucks no less caught my attention. I'm pretty broke as a college student so I just intended to check out the place. No room for a 10 dollar meal for me. When I walked in I thought I saw a generic cafe in the city. Open across from Starbucks. Progressive and creative while being homey. Typical fare. I was pleasantly surprised by the seating and the decor. It meshes very well and doesn't just try to pander to being modern. I ordered a simple coffee and decided to change my mind and get a bigger size. I already had my wallet out to pay a bit extra (25 cents), but they upgraded me for free. What's more, they offerred me fresh half and half even though the counter had some citing freshness. This is the definition of customer service. They clearly value their customers greatly and their positive disposition lifts my mood. The coffee was very good as well. Starbucks is right across the street but they certainly know how to compete. Their coffee is a very good blend of bitterness with sweet. Great service, great environment. I'll be sure to stop by every time I come by, even if only for coffee.
This is one of our favorite places for breakfast or lunch. Service is always awesome here! The omelettes are good and fulfilling. The only issue we had was the potatoes in the omelet were hard and inedible. We were running short on time so we didn't let management know that we had to remove all the potatoes. Will try to get there again this weekend to see if this happens again. Good place overall.
If you live in Indy or a close by area and haven't visited one of these locations check them out. The food is amazing, it's fresh, tastes great and I'll give them an A for presentation as well. Breakfast and lunch are the go tos here, anything you order is great, the avocado toast and the hippie with the Benz are my staples.
Great food and service
Amazing food!! Probably the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had. Staff were excellent as well.
Breakfast and lunch as long as they are open. Many vegan and gluten free options. I tried the bread, to my surprise is was better than most gluten filled bread. They buy it from a local business named Native. Been here nearly every time we visit Indy and never had a bad experience.
Best omletes in the city. Staff treat you like old friends. Great place, great food
Great food and the server are very welcoming!
Had brunch with a friend who loves this place and we had a really good time! The service was great and super friendly. The tea was fabulous (although I'm not used to having to pay for a second tea bag). It was a great trendy meal at of course trendy upscale prices. I had the omelette special: bacon, mushroom, spinach, and white cheddar cheese with fruit and cinnamon toast. The food was all good and if I was truly an omelette person (and not such a tea person) this might have received 5 stars. The cinnamon toast was okay, but I think I would have preferred a biscuit, English muffin, or potatoes. The toast was just so thick that it still had some dryness when you ate it even though it was covered in cinnamon goodness. On a side note: only one restroom was working and it was an individual restroom so the wait was quite something. For that size of restaurant, they should work to get those things fixed immediately!
I had the Cuban Breakfast and it was delicious. The jalapeño pesto gave it just the right amount of flavor without to much heat.
I love visiting w friends over omelets, coffee or the occasional Bloody Mary. Excellent service and food! My friend had a vegan breakfast but I enough their omelettes.
Try the toast with cinnamon and sugar!
Definitely recommend the Cuban bowl!! So flavorful with a vegan option, or an option to add sausage! Solid mimosa too!
Coffee is self serve. Not a big fan of self serve but it was tasting good.
Good place
Stopped while passing through on vacation. Friendly service, nice atmosphere, delicious food, big portions, pricey but worth it.
Good food, great location for me, managed to be fast despite how busy they were.
Ok. Time for truth. Yes, you will LOVE the food -- its upscake, unique, and great tasting. But do know that its very loud compared to other lunch spots-- not sure why. And i just cant get past the $44 for two people for lunch! 2 salads, cup of soup, and toast (no roll/bread comes with salad). Would prefer Ruth's Cafe across the street as as great of upscale, great tasting food, yet oh so more reasonably priced and their divided/decorated rooms make it a fantastic place to carry on conversations with friends and family.
First time visiting. Was not disappointed. Be mindful that you are not going to be seated until the whole group is there. Coffee is available for self serve and they give you a glass bottle of water to keep your own glass refilled. Their menu was filled with variety and our waiters knew her stuff. She was very kind. Food came in promptly and tasted great. I loved their toast. Highly recommend.
AWESOME breakfast. I get the OVER ACHIEVER. A horseradish infused bacon and cheese omelette. It is amazing. There can be a wait here so be prepared. It is a little pricey, but for a good Sunday brunch, it is worth it. Also, I get a side of extra crispy bacon and this is the ONLY place in all of Indy that prepares their bacon EXTRA CRISPY!! Give this place a try!!
Love it... good food and service!
One of our fave spots for brunch! Great croissant french toast. Excellent coffee selection!
It's a great locally owned place to take out of town visitors.
When I went we had an amazing waiter who helped us improve upon our already amazing dishes. I ordered the Cuban breakfast and it was so so delicious. Our waiter suggested I added chorizo and I highly suggest it! I didn't order them at the time but the mimosas look delicious with a piece of fruit! I'll be back again soon!
This place has been built with love and passion by a mother towards ther children and to support local farmers. Very cozy place and nice staff perfect.
This place was excellent! From the self serve coffee bar to the service and food, all were superb. I went out of my comfort zone and had the sweet corn cakes. I sure am glad that I did. The cakes were amazing. I also appreciate the gluten free, vegan and sustainable options. Best breakfast place I have been to in a long time.
Very good food. My waiter, Joe, was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and friendly.
Food and service was great!!! I feel bad for the waitress with the group of four that was inconsiderate and hung out forever not allowing the table to be turned over and her make money seating people there.
Love the self serve coffee bar! The crossaints are melt in your mouth delicious. A must buy!
Weekend after weekend, consistently excellent food prepared and served with style and humor. The Omelette I Cannot Refuse, cinnamon toast, fresh fruit, and either iced green tea (unsweetened) or hot mint. High energy place, recharges me for the week to come.
Great service and food, nice location
The Omelette You Can't Refuse...don't refuse it
The food was delicious. Go for the omelettes. The sour dough toast with blueberry jelly was yum. House blend coffee was smooth. Good service, too.
Busy place, but hostess had us seated within half of the time that she estimated when we first arrived. They have amazing outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. Indoor seating is a little close to other tables but not on top of each other. Food was amazing and my husband said the gluten free waffles and pancakes are a MUST for a celiac. Great visit from some out of towners.
Great spot for brunch, but can be crowded on weekends.
This place is simply fantastic. I was in Indianapolis on a business trip for a weekend and found it on my first day for breakfast. I usually like to find different places to eat on my business trips in order to get a diverse experience of a new city, but I went back the next two mornings for breakfast because the food was so good. Highly recommend
Super cute environment, very busy but attentive staff and quick turnaround in your order. Not cheap but not overly priced. Got the apple fritter French toast with pecans and subbed potatoes from fruit.
Menu wasn't as varied as I'd hoped and they were light on the salt. Sirracha sauce for a Cuban breakfast seemed a bit odd. The servers were very friendly and the Midnight Magic coffee is almost worth a plane ticket to Indianapolis! I'd come back just for the coffee.
Andouille and white cheddar omelette was great.
Mediocre food and service.
Top breakfast place!
Good food, great service, and fun vibe. Just a little pricey for what you get.
Here visiting from Florida and found this place on Google... the unlimited coffee bar is brilliant and it's great coffee! I ordered something not on the menu, eggs, potatoes and bacon. My wife had the bacon Broken Yolk sandwich and loved it. My kids had the French toast and said it was awesome.
I've been going to this location for years. We moved away from Indy nine years ago and this is the place I miss the most. Patachou is the only place I can drink flavored coffee and actually enjoy it. (Most flavored coffee i find disgusting.) Their omelette special, with sourdough cinnamon bread, is always a mainstay, and their service is always friendly. Oh, and Patachou was campaigning for gay rights and gender inclusiveness before it was even cool here in Indy! All the more reason they get my support.
Good food always good service slightly pricey for breakfast food. Quality is higher than most
Great place to go for brunch. I ordered an omelette with a simple salad and coffee. Everything tasted fresh and arrived in a timely manner. The service was great. Even though the place was packed, our drinks and order were taken quickly. We did not have to wait long for our food. Our waitress was nice and friendly. I also enjoyed the atmosphere. Nice inviting place. Not extremely easy to see from the street, but not too difficult to find. A couple of things I did not like: The tables are a little more close together than I like. I felt like I was sitting on top of couple seated next to us and could hear their entire conversation. Another thing - it wasn't a dealbreaker for me because I was seated very close to the coffee, but you do have to get your own coffee. What bothered me the most about this was the fact I had to squeeze by the table sitting so close us to get the coffee. I felt like I had to disrupt them anytime I wanted to get up. For seating further away, I could also see how this could be obnoxious. However, overall great place to go for food. I would recommend.
Busy busy busy busy busy busy place. Why? Food and service is excellent!
Very good food
Quaint and friendly with a variety of food options for any eater
Had an excellent breakfast today, I'd like to thank our waiter Jeremy F for his outstanding service and recommendations! Very professional and excellent personally!!!
Good breakfast stop downtown. The waffle and omelette were good. The waiter was friendly. They brought the wrong kind of toast with the omelette but my husband didn't mind and ate the cinnamon toast instead. I have no doubt that they would have quickly corrected the mistake if we'd asked. They have a help yourself coffee bar which is ok until you're in the middle of eating and wish you had someone come around to top off the coffee but instead you have to get up and get it yourself. But if that's the only complaint, it's a pretty good meal.
Love this place - the food is always top notch and the coffee is fantastic.
We always feel that prices are high, but many foods are very tasty. The prized turkey is always dry.
The food was delightful. Met a friend after car shopping today and the atmosphere was just as good as the food. I had the tuna salad, and every bite made me want even more! Only thing I would change would be the water service. The glasses are so tiny I drank 10 of them! Will be back!
There is no place in Indy that comes close to the consistent high quality, vibe, and social mission. The BEST.
Great coffee, excellent food, and happy people doing the work. As a tip to all “non-locals”, you can pick which kind of bread you want used for the cinnamon toast, and requesting extra cinnamon is never a problem! Just an all-around great breakfast/lunch spot. Very good and inventive breakfast with wide choices and excellent service. A bit of a wait but worth it. Coffee while waiting.
Great food!!
Was so excited to eat here. However, left very underwhelmed. Good food but obnoxious pricing for portions received. 1 star for service. Less than pleasant waiter. Acted annoyed, esp when we ordered dessert to share after the meal. Never refilled water carafe for a table of 5. Will not return, too many better options out there.
Great food. Great service. The Cuban breakfast rocks. The coffee is good.
Their food is divine! Broken yolks, Cuban breakfast, Tomato Artichoke soup, cobb salad and more. I've never been disappointed in a menu item. The hot chocolate is to die for and the omelettes are always impressive. Be patient on weekend mornings because there will be a wait, but it's worth it!
I love the Cuban breakfastl! It is my favorite and an all around wholesome dish. The place gets pretty packed, but I have never had too long of a wait. I love eating outside when the weather is nice. The staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful!
Best staff in town. Service is always top notch. Ask for Raquel if you want the coolest (and best looking) server in town. The kitchen is insanely fast even when the restaurant is packed.
A group of friends and I wanted some where new to try for brunch and decided here was the place. We all loved the food and the great atmosphere! Our waitress was super friendly and she was a ton of help when we had questions about food. It was the perfect celebrating new moms brunch spot for our group outing! I had the peach, blueberry smoothie and BLT with fresh mozzarella.
The coffee bar was a nice option but rather overpriced if you're thinking of having 2 + people enjoying coffee - 3.99 per person if I remember correctly. So, we just got water and went across to the starbucks when we were done. I got the California Dreamer Omlette. It was REALLY good, actually. My husband didn't care for the gluten-free bread.
Good food and service. Arrive early enough, and you won't have to wait for a table. I had an omelette, which was pretty good. But the eggs on my husband's Duck confit knocked my socks off. Delicious, flavorful yolk. Their supplier of eggs (and butter) must be doing everything right. Our server was very friendly and had great timing.
I ate here 4 different times during a recent visit to Indy. There were great menu options so I had to keep going back to try. The gluten free options were tasty and the service was on point every time I was there. Great bottomless coffee options each day too.
Good food and fast service at lunchtime. We had a fairly large group and once we told our server that we were on a schedule, he stepped right up to make sure everything was timely and delicious! Coconut creme coffee was amazing and the salmon bagel was a great lunch option!
Such a great place! I would be back if I'm in the area.
Usually this place has great food, but this visit i was disappointed. The experience felt rushed, we ordered our food and within 10 minutes it was there. The server kept coming over every 5 minutes and the bloodymary tasted watered down and not high quality like it used to. Don't expect any kind of straw, you pay $1 for a steel straw that you'd probably forget the next time you went. I'm all for reducing plastic, but like utensils just wash and reuse and not require your customers to pay a $1 every time!
Had a wonderful lunch here, the BLT was amazing and the Artichoke-Tomato soup was just what I needed on a rainy day!
This place has always been delicious and my family has never been let down in the slightest. They have very good options for my daughter and I for our celiac needs. Very safe, aware of menu options and well trained for food allergies! Highly recommend and greatly appreciate their commitment to offering gluten free items.
Super pricey. More of a niche menu. Server was terrible. You have to get your own coffee. I'd you're seated outside, that means you have to weave through people and open the door without burning yourself or someone else. Over priced on most items.
The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. I was there for a coffee/tea meeting and the volume and atmosphere was great.
Amazing place too if the list for us
I love their daily omelet! The cinnamon toast is always good and the fruit is fresh. Definitely a breakfast favorite.
We ended up not eating brunch. My brother had heard great things about it so we decided to try it out. The biggest problem was we couldn't find anything to eat that appealed--we could have eaten _something_ but I don't want to just settle when I go out, I wanted to enjoy it. There were many folks happily eating, so I'm sure it was just not the right place for us. For example, I have never been to a breakfast and lunch place that didn't serve pancakes.
Ordered an omelet with cheddar, bacon, and potatoes accompanied by an arugula salad and cinnamon toast. The omelet was better than most omelets I have ordered in restaurants. The eggs were prepared well and the filling was in good proportion to the eggs. I’m usually never quite satisfied with any omelet preparation. A perfect omelet is a moat elusive creature.
I came here the day of my wedding for breakfast with my bridal party in 2018. Our server was extremely nice and even gave me a free cookie in honor of my wedding day! Most of the bridal party and myself ordered the waffles and it was so good! The mimosa was also superb!
Great gluten free food. The cinnamon toast is amazing! Always good service. A must go to kind of place!
Second time there and it was just as frightful. Got there for lunch/brunch and the crowds must have just left. Staff still moving at good speeds and in an upbeat mood. Cuban breakfast was delicious, but what it made above and beyond good was the jalapeno sauce! So good! Also, chocolate cake!!!!
Wonderful omelettes, salad, fresh fruit, and the cinnamon toast is the best my family has ever tasted.
Super cute place. The coffee is actually coffee. I've been looking for a decent caffeine kick and I sure found it. Very very tasty carrot cake!
This is our third time coming to this location, but first time we didn't have to wait to be seated (1 hour prior to closing). Good breakfast selections, but minimal beer and lunch options. Great quality of food, clean atmosphere and prompt service.
Poor service, food is average. They make you get up and pour your own coffee, just like a student union for adults
Never disappointed when my gf and I come here.
I genuinely enjoyed it. Pretty cool place for a one off type event. Is fairly busy and I would say a little upscale and pricey for a breakfast. No fountain drinks and coffee is self serve which is pretty cool and helps out the servers. Food is of the different variety but was good. You can tell the ingredients are upscale and the omelette I had was airy and fluffy with very little salt or grease. Good place to eat on the lighter side.
Cafe patachou is a huge miss for any breakfast lover and/or aficionado. If you are looking for breakfast this isn’t the place. For starters they don’t serve coffee- let that sink in. You have to get it yourself from a coffee bar, which needed cleaning. Want a straight forward/ basic breakfast offering of two eggs, choice of meat, potato and toast? Nope. All these have to be à la carte if you want them and guess what? - they don’t do hash browns. I ordered two eggs and bacon, all served cold on a chilled plate along with their only potato option- tepid potato cubes with coat of grease. This also took quite awhile and although business was picking up, there wasn’t even close to a wait for a table. No rush to get cold food out I suppose. Skip and dine anywhere else.
The service was quick and the waitress was polite!
Wonderful place for a great tasting breakfast. Would not want to change a single thing about it. When it comes to coffee, they have different flavors and I seem to like them all. Great place and easy on the wallet as well.
Awesome service with excellent food. We were passing through Indianapolis, avoiding grid lock on the interstate this morning when we found this place. I ordered the Cuban and my family ordered the breakfast special an Italian sausage, mushroom and Swiss omelette with spinach. Omelettes we're light fluffy and tasty. The Cuban a fried egg on black beans and rice with avocado, cheese and an jalapeno sauce simply rocked. Recommend stopping. We'll be back. Thanks for the great experience...your new friends from Minnesota.
Best coffee near the convention center and delicious breakfast with thick fresh toasted bread and homemade jam. Busy place but always worth the wait.
Awesome food. The best muffins ever. Excellent coffee. Great service.
My boyfriend brought me here when I was visiting. I got the apple fritter French toast, and it was delicious. I also tried some of his hot chocolate and cinnamon bread which were equally delicious. One reviewer mentioned that it’s not a lot of food for the price, and I would agree, though I certainly didn’t leave feeling hungry. I’m excited to go back the next time I’m in town.
Gluten-free waffles and bread were awesome always.
Waffles were lighter than air!
Amazing food and atmosphere. Get the Cuban Breakfast!
Good service. serve Gluten free items
We’ve been to all Cafe Patachous in Indy and this one was the least crowded on Sunday so we went in! The wait was maybe 20 mins which was not bad and the food was good! Our server was nice and friendly but expect longer wait times to get your food prepared / payment processed due to the popularity of the venue. One thing that could be better is presentation of food and text notifications when a table is ready.
Breakfast was phenomenal. The French toast is to die for! Staff was helpful and quite friendly.
Awesome breakfast
Restaurant is a bit loud. Service and food was just ok.
The food... breakfast...is always delicious.
Food here is great. Healthy options abound along with meaty fare if it's what you want.
Favorite breakfast spot in indy.
Seriously good food and super fast serve time (if you're in a hurry - very helpful for the lunch crowd). Great looking people too
Food tastes fresh and the Menu is definitely unique. Omelettes come with a choice of arugula salad or fruit, which is a nice change from the usual options. Very relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
I only come here during GenCon, and the wait for breakfast is usually very lengthy. However, the Broken Yolks are so yum, as is the cinnamon toast. Self-serve coffee bar is great too!
Anything and everything that I have ever had on the menu is fabulous... each and every time...
This restaurant was recommended for breakfast: best recommendation. Cinnamon toast lived up to the hype. Berries and yogurt with toast, perfect light breakfast. You made need to wait to be seated if you have a party of 5 or larger. But the wait is worth it. Delicious food with gluten free options.
Amazing food! Friendly staff! Check out the cuban breakfast! If you are a flavored coffee fan they have the best coffee around and you can buy it by the lb! Check out their store on Penn for lots of different flavors.
Delicious! Love the arugula salad with breakfast!
Self serve coffee bar. Good food. Great service. Simple nice decor and atmosphere.
Great breakfast at the Washington St. location. Going to try at least two more Martha Hoover restaurants soon! The Croissant French Toast was insanely good, light and flavorful, a perfect amount w/out putting me into a sugar coma! My daughter loved the waffle grilled cheese, while hubby enjoyed eggs w/horseradish along a side of arugula. Kudos to excellent service by Drew
Nice quick bite by the hotel, quality food and quick friendly service!
When I took the first bites of my food, I was sad because I knew I’d eat it all and it wouldn’t last forever. I could eat the Cuban Breakfast every single day. Food was amazing, coffee was delicious, and service was awesome. Can’t wait to come back!
Delicious. Wait staff & kitchen are on it! Always a good experience before attending IRT for a Sunday matinee.
Too many choices for omelette. Bottomless coffee was also good. You can try out different types.
Amazing gluten free food. Fantastic service as well.
Great breakfast location and good food that is priced reasonably......
Great service, Quick and delicious! I've placed carry out due to working nearby and the food is always ready to go, packaged neatly, and served with friendly smiles. I recommend the "omelet you can't refuse" or the bacon broken yolk with avocado. They have amazing cinnamon toast and they offer gluten free bread. Even their fruit is delicious! Thank you!
Love the food and service we come every weekend for breakfast!
You must go!! Get the multigrain toast with the vegan omelet. Still dreaming of this breakfast.
Cafe Patachou is truly an Indiana treasure...Martha Hoover and her great team created this unique restaurant concept many years ago that opens for breakfast and closes at 3p...The food is fantastic, and her employees are just as great...Beginning with her famous chicken salad to her wonderful unique sandwiches and omelets, her insistence on freshness and quality sets a standard unequaled in Indiana!
Great options for gluten free and super delicious!
Best brunch on north side, imo
Service was good and the food was great. The gluten free waffles were amazing and didn't taste GF at all. We had to wait about half an hour so we had coffee at the Starbucks right there while we waited.
Dillan was an absolutely super bar host. The coffee and omelet were delicious. I’m only in town for 3 days but I think I’ll revisit Café Patachou!
Can't go wrong with Patachou. Either for breakfast/lunch/brunch. I had a work meeting here, and it was easy and comfortable.
Really really good food. Very friendly, attentive staff. Exactly what you would want in a cafe. We love this place.
Staff is very welcoming, coffee is off the charts and the food is top notch. Jeremy was a terrific server, and when he suggested cinnamon sugar toast I was all in. It's a Hoosier breakfast tradition for most of us. Definitely worth a visit. It was not too busy when we were there, but it can be packed. Especially in the warmer months.
It was good but a little pricey
Always a good spot for a fresh meal and coffee.
Love Patachou! Cinnamon toast is heavenly and honestly the reason I visit. I have never had a bad meal in the dozens of times I've been there. Omelette of the day is usually creative and worth ordering - I rarely look to the regular menu anymore.
Love it and our waitresses
Love the place! Very good atmosphere ❤️❤️
This is always a good choice if you're looking for a nice place to get breakfast. The food is excellent while the staff are kind and efficient. My only complaint is that on Sundays, they do not open until 8 am, which can sometimes be inconvenient if you're trying to get your day started.
It's good food, but pretty expensive in my opinion.
Great breakfast food.
I can't say good enough things about this place! Breakfast/Brunch is my favorite. Whatever you do, don't forget the cinnamon toast!!!!
Very smooth, busy and nicely run coffee shop.. we will be back for sure
I got sick a couple of hours after eating at Cafe Patachou .... Always been good and the Service was fantastic!! My experience on Saturday was most likely was an aberration.
Excellent food and service!
Best fast, fresh lunch spot in downtown Indy for a quick and healthy bite! Their vegan and vegetarian options are outstanding.
I love the Cuban! It’s a fantastic bowl of rice and beans and avocado and eggs and more. To die for. Cobb salad is great, sourdough bread is fantastic. I’ve been dozens of times and always had a great experience. Love sitting outside in the summer. We go here for breakfast every time we stay in Indy!
Delicious food, a tad pricy. The food is worth it. The cramped waiting area can be hard on a Sunday brunch but if your patient is really not that bad. I gave 4 starts because the menu was a little under whelming mixed with the wait area. But I'll say it again. The food is worth it! Must try: croissant! Taste liked fresh from a bakery off the street of France!
Our 'go to' for brunch. Never fails to please.
Beautiful place and the food was good. We ordered vegan Cuban breakfast and waffle for the kid which was excellent. My husband ordered Californian dreamer which he felt was not fully cooked as per his standards
Not really good for picky eaters and long waits for food/servers
Good and fresh food but very small portions on most dishes, so it's overpriced. They have great coffee, the caramel flavored coffee is delicious. The service is friendly. Definitely would recommend trying this place.
Such a great cafe. Finally ordered the blueberry crumble coffee and it was so good. Also ordered the vegan omelette with hummus, black beans, tofu and arugula and it was tasty. Usually order the soup and half chicken salad sandwich. Definitely a favorite.
The service was fast despite it being packed. When I walked in it smelled of delicious cinnamon, and I expected quality would be a bit reduced, but it wasn't at all. The fruit was fresh and my companions and I enjoyed our meals. The only downside was the line outside the bathroom. On the upside both the bathrooms are unisex, so if that matters to you, then they'll support you.
Pretty busy place on a Sunday late morning but definitely delicious. Waffles were quite nicely done with quality flavors. The bread was incredible and the eggs with the bacon on top was delicious. Their coffee was not good at all though, despite the signs outside. Maybe it was an off day. And the chocolate chip cookie was loaded with other stuff which was good but nothing to write home about. Also way too crispy. Probably the only chocolate chip cookie I didn't finish. Otherwise, I was pretty overall satisfied.
Great food and good service
Food was decent and it definitely caters to folks that are gluten-free which is nice and the service was good. Drinks were not bad, tried the mimosa. Why only 3 stars? The experience isn’t thought through. I made a mistake ordering an iced coffee to-go and ended up with a cup and lid, no straw. I get the environmental impact straws, but come with an adequate solution like a lid that you can drink out of or paper ones. I ended up with a soupy luke warm coffee, which was not enjoyable. Also, annoying that the menu touts, “tell a human” not a follower. In this situation they don’t enable the staff to problem solve, because there are no tools to address the issue.
Great food and good selection. Great service also.
Excellent food ! Great spot for delicious breakfast.. wife and kids love the place so we go a lot !
Awesome salads and drinks!
Healthy options makes it nice
A must visit place for breakfast. Just a block away from Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument. Quite a few vegetarian and vegan choices. We ordered cauliflour fried rice (rice made from cauliflower) and tomato soup. A very very tasty dish.
The food here is incredible! I fell in love with the Overachiever omelette and had it 3 times in one week.
The food is outstanding! They have inventive healthy food with vegetarian and vegan options.
High quality food, varied options, outstanding service
Professional staff. Great food with a several vegan options. I can see why people love it
The most amazing brunch spot I've ever experienced! In a three day weekend, I went there three times and had the omelette of the day every time with the cinnamon toast, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Great outdoor seating with views of downtown Indy.
Patachou is always delicious and fun. I particularly love their coffee selection and quality! Really tasty omelettes and healthy menu.
Great...food and service have always been spectacular.
Absolutely amazing service. I don't think I've ever seen more efficient and well trained staff. Everyone was constantly busy seating people, busting tables, running food out and being friendly and polite the whole time. The food showed up extremely fast and was amazing. I had the California dreaming omelet and it was amazing. Great flavors and perfectly sized portion. Sure the price is a bit more than IHOP but like everything in life you get what you pay for. If you want mediocre food served by people who hate their jobs but it's cheap then go to IHOP. If you want really good food with quality ingredients served by people that appear to love their jobs, then come here.
Very nice.
Quaint cafe like breakfast and lunch. Food is fresh and a nice variety of choices.
Expensive cafeteria food. After first visit I wasn't impressed. Food was very bland. I went back next day hoping it was better and it wasn't.
Quality of food is unmatched
there all the time top notch food & service. Glad to have someone who cares about food quality.
Very good food. Above average gluten-free options. Highly recommend the gluten-free pumpkin bread. On the downside, a bit pricy so be prepared to spend some money.
Really fresh good food
Was the best thing about Indianapolis. The breakfast was delicious and the banana nut coffee was OUTSTANDING. I went back the next day for their caramel coffee!
My favorite breakfast spot
Wonderful breakfast or lunch spot! The food is always fresh and staff is always super friendly. I've yet to get something here that wasn't good. It's become our families go to breakfast placethe omelettes are amazing and they have the best chicken salad in Indy. Food and service is also consistent for all the locations!
Been here twice now, and can't wait to go again! Saying it's fantastic is an understatement...I enjoy the whole restaurant and atmosphere. The whole staff is friendly and I haven't been disappointed at all in the food..its delicious. I want to eat my way through their whole menu
Awesome place for relaxing some coffee and soups. Check out there special. The only reason why it's gets a 4/5 is because it's price/expensive.
Best breakfast in town. Proper coffee (Starbucks is next door and there's never anyone in there). Filter coffee included with your meal (as much as you like). Great atmosphere, good value, well cooked food and great service. Highly recommended
Good food, great coffee
Food is amazing. And love the atmosphere! Staff and customer service were phenomy!
Absolutely wonderful. We visited twice on our weekedn trip to Indianapolis, and we loved both meals. The coffee was top-notch, the omelettes were mouth-wateringly delicious, and the fruit bowl — unlike the 80 percent melon bowl you typically get for breakfast — was a perfect combination of fresh apple, orange, pineapple, strawberry, and blueberry. Worth every penny.
When asked for recommendations, Cafe Patachou made everyone's list. It's a large restaurant in downtown that also has a coffee stand inside for those wanting coffee on the go. My wife and I went here for lattes and it was the best latte we had in Indy. Highly recommend!
Great breakfast selection, unlimited house brew coffee, and a nice atmosphere. Jimmy, our waiter, was super friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious, I built my own omelette though there were preselected ones as well.
Lovely Space, full of light. Good Breakfasts available.
Great place for a date. Quiet and comfortable inside with a nice big patio. Food was amazing and staff was wonderful.
Nice place, great service. Love their coffee station. Will definitely go again!
We have been here multiple times. Consistent great food and service. The omelets are excellent.
We eat here a lot. Tomato asparagus soup and one of the delicious salads. You can't beat the cinnamon toast.
We visited Cafe Patachou on a busy Saturday morning. We had a party of six. Our experience was everything you would hope for while dining out. We had only a brief wait to be seated. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Our orders came in a timely manner and were all correct. The food was great, the coffee was delicious, and the cinnamon toast is the bomb!
Always good. Try the veggie quinoa
Booked a catering order with Leah and she made everything so easy. The food was amazing and nicely plated. I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for something casual for a business lunch.
Always a delicious choice for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. It's one of the few restaurants where I can find multiple items I want to try. It's a good option whether you want to he healthy or not so much.
Excellent chicken salad sandwich. Plenty of salad mixed well with toasted wheat.
Very fresh food, and a good mix of breakfast and lunch. The tomato artichoke soup is so good! I have never had anything here I didn't like. My favorite omelette is Hippie with a Benz.
Apple fritter French toast- very tasty, heavy on the cinnamon, but great if you’re a cinnamon lover. 4/5
Fairly nice building, the glasses were a bit dirty. Food didn't fill me up, but that's just me. Service was friendly and the food came quick. This restaurant is good for a light breakfast, not something for the whole family. 3/5 won't be coming back here.
Always have at least one breakfast here when in Indianapolis. Ok... Service is kind of aloof, but the food is pretty great. Who knew something as simple as cinnamon toast could be so good? Omlets are made with fresh ingredients and not over cooked.
Always 5 stars. I love their vegan omelette. When we go for weekend brunch, it is usually very busy and a full house. It can be a tight squeeze. With that being said, I haven't brought my parents here (my dad is in a large electric wheelchair) simply because it would probably be uncomfortable. Cafe patachou would most likely accommodate us but it just seems like a hassle.
Great place. Food amazing.
Amazing food and a great cause!
Good service, good food for a change of pace place
Great food, very healthy and filling. The breads and fresh and delicious. Ham, cheddar, potatoe, and salsa omelette was great. Will be back.
The Hubs and I enjoyed it
Very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Great food! I had the make your own omelette with cinnamon toast. I had been craving Cinnabon and the toast was a GREAT alternative! Must try if you are in town. We were visiting from Cincinnati
Always a great breakfast here, never had a bad meal!
The food was good, but $10 for ONE single pancake and a few segments of fruit is a bit much.
We come in for GenCon every year and make sure that we eat here at least once! They have great food and great customer service!
Very nice place good food.
Service was great. Food was tasty and affordable!
Great food and great service.
Good food and good service!
We don't come to the city much, nevertheless in the morning. However, when we do we always make a point to stop in here. I love the concept of the coffee bar and the many options of omelettes, each delicious in their own way. Reasonably priced and most of the food is made in house. My husband got the BLT and it was aaaamazing, he also got the spinach jalepeno pesto. I could seriously live off that stuff alone, good heavens! I had the Hippie in a Benz Omelette and it was very good. I do think their should have been just a little more feta in it, though, really would've tied it all together. I also think sauteing the mushrooms in some butter and getting a nice sear on them would do wonders flavor wise! Overall another great experience!
First time there. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was great.
Lively place with good food and service. Great for lunch.
Great food and service! Gluten free options. Fresh fruit.
Café Patachou is one of Indy's best brunch restaurants. The food is the highest quality of it's kind. For those new to Indy, or those looking for something worth remembering, this place is a must visit. The cinnamon toast is highly recommended. Side note: the gluten free bread is perfect.
This place was amazing. My friend and I both have food allergies and they were amazing with their options and care.
I'm not a frufru coffee or brunch guy, my wife is. She LOVES this place, I thought it was fine. It is loud, but the food is really good. BLT on sourdough was excellent. I'm being picky here: they only have single serving cans of soda ($1.95) no fountain. I think that markup is crazy with no refills. TL;DR: I would come back, it's pretty good.
Always feel at home here, such excellent people and so darn delicious.
One of my new Indy favorites. Great food, Great atmosphere and good energy in the restaurant...meaning warm and friendly smiles. The servers have an attitude of being glad you are eating at their place. They were very helpful with menu suggestions. Really enjoyed the experience, and looking forward to returning!
Had a delicious brunch today, and wanted to add my approval to that of others on the Vegan Omelet. I'm not vegan, but I avoid dairy, so this option hit a home run for me. Everything about it was sooo tasty. Lots of arugula, which I worried I might want to ask for some vinaigrette for, but it didn't need it. The pesto that comes with was my favorite sauce addition, but the salsa was also tasty. Service was delightful. We did wait a little longer than the estimated 15 mins for a table, but it was worth it. OH! My husband got a side of cinnamon toast with his omelet, and gave me one of the slices...it, too, was delicious! I had stopped in to this place yesterday to grab a salad for lunch after getting my hair done next door, and that too was quick, easy, and delicious. (Had the Green Goddess salad. So yum!) Very pleased to have stumbled across this place during our weekend visit to Indy!
Patachou is a great spot for breakfast. I ate a delicious omelette and cinnamon toast, along with a delicious and refreshing juice drink. The location is beautiful, although the views from the restaurant are of Keystone Mall. The prices are a bit higher than other breakfast spots, but it's worth it. At the time of our visit, the omelette cost $12 and the juice was around $6, just to give you an idea of pricing.
I'm not a fan but defintely not in the majority. It's always packed. I've never had an amazing experience with food or service. Surprising for easy breakfast food. Stop trying so hard.
Everything here is good, you can't go wrong.
My waiter was extremely nice and helpful (Dylan, not sure on the spelling). It has a perfect location of both city viewing and sitting outdoors. I had the Cuban breakfast and it was stellar. I did find out that I could add many things to it and I highly recommend adding another egg and possibly another meat, like bacon or ham. I also consumed the kids French toast meal and that was excellent (especially as a little dessert size for breakfast). The crisp on the edges of the bread was a wonderful touch. My fruit cup consisted of apple, pineapple, strawberry, and orange. The coffee was fresh and delightful. I will definitely be coming back again for at minimum, the breakfast. I can only imagine that lunch would be delectable
Great options lot better ingredients than most
Overall: Solid brunch or lunch spot, just as good as the other locations in the city. Your sweet or savory tooth will be satisfied. The good: Food tastes great. Just as good as the one by b-rip. Tons of menu options, all delicious. A good amount of outdoor seating. Prices are pretty reasonable and the portions are a good size. I've never left disappointed. The bad: The wait staff is somewhat neglectful. I've been several times now and the menu has never been explained to us, and then once the orders are made there's very little interaction. Both times I've been it's also been freezing in the restaurant Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 7/10 Food: 8/10
Simply the best breakfast cafe in Indianapolis, no doubt about it. Expect a bit of a queue in conventions mornings like during GenCon.
Had a fantastic brunch here. I read the history on their website and loved what the owner said about creating a place with the kinds of foods she prepares for her children, supporting local farmers, etc. I had an omelette of my own design plus green tea (real!). It was delicious and lovely. Service was very good. They were accommodating of my food allergies. One omission from my order was quickly remedied. Very busy. Not too terribly loud. Definitely going back here! So grateful to the founder and all the talented people who are working so hard to keep this place going, doing good. Big love to you all.
Awesome food and service
Breakfast and lunch are the go tos here, anything you order is great, the avocado toast and the hippie with the Benz are my staples. It's a goal next time to try something new, but I keep going back to those 2 items. Bloody Mary's are amazing here, it's such an interesting flavor and I want to ask what's in it, but I'm worried it's a company secret
I like this place a lot, but every time I come here the coffee (multiple of them) always either tastes burnt or just... weird? I don’t know. Not the greatest at all in the city. Good is always good (ALWAYS), but also at times some of the staff just seem like they’re over their jobs and as if you’re coming in is just too much for them (some staff, not all).
One of my all-time favorite brunch and breakfast spots. Everything looks so good but I usually get a runny yolk sandwich.
Perahaps too trendy for their own good, not sure how fresh or tasty any of it really is. :/
At breakfast here twice while in Indy on work. The croissant French toast and skillet pumpkin bread are both incredible!
This place was weird. I did not like the options because they can't just serve a simple breakfast, everything's gotta have a weird twist. I decided on an omelette and when it came out it was runny and had a gross consistency. They're so proud about their cinnamon toast, but I was making that at home when my parents were poor because there was no food in the house except bread and butter. I'm ashamed that I paid for someone to give me two slices of bread for what I could have paid for a whole loaf of bread and made it at home.
Food was fresh and very flavorful. I got an omlette with mushrooms, avocado and spinach. The tossed arugula greens were amazing. So simple but satisfying. My husband had the Cuban breakfast and loved the jalapeño pesto. Our server was very friendly and very accommodating for our cranky 2 year old. We were passing through Indy on the way to Ohio. Thank you for a delicious and fresh food to fill our bellies for our trip.
Gluten-free waffles! A-maz-ing! And the staff is wonderful!
Trendy atmosphere and quick courteous service but the prices were a bit out of my comfort range!
Had breakfast here quite a while back. Sunday morning and it was a line up but turned out worth the wait. Must check out this place if you stay in downtown Indy
The food and service were excellent. I had one of the broken yolk dishes and that was delicious. Geoff our server was very attentive and prompt.
Patachou has never disappointed me. From the fantastic service to the delicious food, every part of this establishment is top notch. I have gone here dozens of times and I will continue going long into the future. I’m pretty sure there isn’t a better breakfast sandwich in Indiana than the broken yolk sandwich.
They were incredibly busy when I was there but i was still treated very well and my food came out in a timely manner. Everyone was so nice, the food was delicious, and vegan/vegetarian options to boot! Highly recommend!
Such a great place to have breakfast. Very good food and nice ambiance !!!
We were visiting Indianapolis for the weekend and came here because of the reviews I had read, and it did not fall short of those reviews! We liked the downtown location because we were staying right up the road and it had a great vibe as soon as we walked in. Our waiter was super friendly, helpful, and efficient. My husband and I ordered the omelettes which were very unique, cooked perfectly, and tasty. My husband also ordered the French toast which was divine. My youngest daughter had the waffles which were big and fluffy and a generous portion. Even the sides that came with our omelettes, fresh fruit or greens, were delicious and fresh. My goodness, the sourdough toast with cinnamon sugar was amazing!! Needless to say we WILL be back when we’re in town again.
Delicious food and great variety for those with allergies or restrictions. Wait can be a bit long so make sure to get there early. Love the outdoor seating and great views of the war memorial. Went twice during my recent stay
I was looking for gluten-free options near the convention center. Cafe Patachou was the perfect match! Very gluten-friendly menu, friendly service and great food.
Good food, it was a bit pricy and staff weren't very friendly.
Dont get the smoked salmon. The croissant French toast was amazing. Staff and management were a pleasure to engage with
Great always fresh food and a wonderfully friendly staff.
Exceptional service and bloody mary. I also enjoyed watching my conservative friends' reactions to the "straw free" policy.
I really wanted pancakes but the closest they had was croissant french toast. It was good the fresh fruit was the best part. I would go back to try something else.
This place has very good food but the coffee was self serve so it lost one star.
Always love this place for lunch. And I always get the BLT on wheat toast, no onion, with a side of fruit! Everything else on the menu looks equally delicious, but I love the thick bacon and fresh mozzarella!!!YUMMY! Service is always good, but the wait for a table can be long during the lunch hour if there is a large convention going on at the convention center. But that's ok, it is just across the street... it makes sense!
Great service, super fresh food. Everything I've tried has been delicious
The only thing upscale here is the location, poorly managed, won't be there long....
Delicious food, great coffee, kids meals were pricey for not a lot of food. Overall good experience.
Had the waffle with fruit bowl melody it was just right. The service was excellent, very friendly staff. The coffee bar is unique and fun.
Great place for breakfast with really good coffee. The service was awesome too!
As always, the best breakfast in Indy. Clean and healthy. And the cinnamon toast is amazing.
OUTSTANDING. Cinnamon Toast is a "must have "
Good food and service, several locations.
Seriously great coffee. My fave is the Broken Yolk Sandwich. The service here is always snappy and the food quality is at the highest level. Of course, it's a breakfast, brunch, lunch place so don't expect fine dining. But the omelets are super creative and top notch fresh ingredients. Some will be amazed by the croissant french toast. Vegan options and even an interesting cauliflower rice stir fry...it looks good but I have never tried it.
I really wanted to like this place but the food was just not good. Very bland, too much arugula on everything, toast wasn’t toasted, etc. However, our server, Jeremy, was fantastic and our very apologetic. A shame the food wasn’t good.
Great breakfast options with quick service! Unlimited coffee bar is nice but flavors are slightly subpar.
The GF waffle and omelette was awesome! Great service!
Amazing vegan and gluten free choices with an already expansive menu. Great service to wonderful environment?
I need the recipe for their cinnamon toast. You may be looking at this review like I'm dumb, because it's cinnamon toast. But I say to you sir or madam, you do not understand. It is the best cinnamon toast ever. The bread has the perfect amount of chew, it's buttered to perfection, and the cinnamon sugar is coated perfectly. *Sigh*
Great outside dining option. Friendly wait staff. Fantastic food.
Excellent food and service
Great food, coffee and service. A go to for breakfast or lunch. Love the broken egg sandwich, all of the bakery items and the coffee is also excellent.
Loved it super friendly
OMG I'm going to eat breakfast here more often! A gluten free waffle that had a glutenous taste and texture is a hard one to find - in fact, this was my first waffle in a very, very long time. The service was awesome, the coffee was awesome, the food was awesome - simply put, Café Patachou is an awesome place for breakfast.
Excellent place for a lunch. Food was delicious - I ordered an omelette and was really happy with it. Horseradish gave it great flavor as our server promised. My only gripe is that you have to get your own coffee. We sat outside and having to go inside for a coffee refill several times during your meal defeats the purpose of going to a restaurant. The coffee is free and high quality, but I would have been happy to pay for the coffee to have it served and refilled.
Fantastic Cafe located a block from our Hotel. Food tastes fresh and the Menu is definitely unique. Prices are a little more than other places but you get what you pay for. The service was absolutely top notch as well. If I lived here this would be a regular place of mine to eat
Staff was friendly and helpful. Ice cream was top notch. Super tasty
Great food and a very helpful server. I love eating outside and they have a great space.
Quick brunch/lunch spot thats great if you want to sit and eat real quick. Food is fresh and tastes great.
Food is always great! Customer service fell short this visit. Very disappointing!
Incredible place to have a healthy meal or get take-away. Friendly servers, a clean and quiet cafe. There are always beautiful, delicious salads , and an array of properly seasoned proteins available. The menu is reminiscent of fine home cooking, with fresh approach, an update. I am well traveled, and yet the meal I had here yesterday goes on my top 10 list. Don't like kale? I urge you to try their perfectly dressed, lightly sweet, kale berry salad which is nothing like you've ever had. The marinated cucumber salad with fresh herbs , halved cherry tomatoes in a variety of colors , and carefully rinsed red onion slivers, was a symphony of flavors and textures. I'm still craving them both. I'll want these salads until I die, probably. For my protein I chose the lake trout, which came grilled and simply adorned with pepper and salt. It tasted very fresh, moist enough, with the portion being enough for two . I also had the gazpacho, which of course is lovely, simply salted , chilled fresh tomato puree with nothing else. Perfect. They make their own syrups intended for sodas and other beverages. The cucumber- mint soda is just a touch of each, and quite refreshing. Please give it a try. I'm really impressed at how talented and well trained the young people working here are. Though a skilled home cook, I could never replicate the tastes they create. It's rare for me to eat out and truly enjoy it. I'm never satisfied, but yesterday I was elated. After eating the salads, sipping the soda, drinking the soup, I was unable to finish my trout; but I walked away trout in take-out bag, feeling nourished, I mean really nourished, in that micronutrient sort of way. My husband who ate stir fried noodles elsewhere felt tired and sluggish for the rest of the evening. Next time I hope he'll share a meal we with me here, and feel as light and satiated as I did.
Absolutely delicious! Everything is so good and made from scratch and high quality!
I always order (& devour) the tomato artichoke soup and croissants. Having been to Europe, the croissants here are on par. I always get a few to share with my boys. The focus of the food - in my opinion - is fresh, local w/ an emphasis on simple preparations that let the quality if the ingredients shine. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's a great place for brunch/lunch, w/ the loaded toast and omletes being great choices that satisfy. Service is always kind, efficient, and sometimes entertaining. :-) This is definitely a gem of a cafe in Indy.
Great Cinnamon toast.
Popular breakfast and brunch place in Indy. Omelettes come with a choice of arugula salad or fruit, which is a nice change from the usual options. The food was delicious, great toast! I liked the self serve coffee station with 5 or 6 selections. Good, personable service. Just right! I highly recommend.
Expensive, single serving of the drinks, and you have to bring your own straw. You can be basic and millennial but there is a "too far." In the end, the food is great but you'll have to forgo a student loan payment to get it.
This place is always amazing every time I get to go here. Highly reccomended even with busy wait times.
Absolutely loved the chocolate raspberry coffee. Great gluten free options. Good for a crowd of 10 and wonderful service.
Fresh, yummy food
The food was amazing, the service was fast didn’t even use all the time at the meter. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed it. The best breakfast your going to get in this area, and bang for your buck. The hot chocolate was A+. We are energized to take on the day. We will be back for sure.
I had the combination half sandwich and half soup. I opted for the chicken salad sandwich in a croissant and the tomato artichoke soup. For the side, I chose the chips, which were decent. My sandwich was quite good on the croissant. I'm glad I went with it. My soup was a little on the salty side, but was tasty and very tomatoey, if you know what I mean. Service was great. I didn't wait too long for my order to arrive. My waitress was very attentive and friendly. Also, in terms of the menu, they do have quite a selection to choose from. The normal portion sizes look filling enough as I looked at what other guests around me have ordered. Overall, my experience was good here. Worth a try!
Great service! Love the message in the menu!
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. The omelette was very tasty and the strawberry jam for the toast was phenomenal. Look forward to going back.
Cafe Patachou is conveniently located right downtown near the government center. They are open till 3pm. Their offerings are all very unique and well thought out. It's a casual place with an upscale feel. They have a variety of coffees that are serve yourself - my favorite was the banana bread flavor - yummy! I opted for the crescent french toast with the side of fruit. Excellent but smallish portion. Could have put away 2 of them easily. I'd say that prices are moderately high. My french toast and coffee came to just over $18, if memory serves me correctly however, this may be par for the course for city fare.
Good food. Good service. Overpriced
The coffee is great, and you can tell a lot of work goes into the sourcing of the food. The location downtown can be a little crowded, but the service moves very fast. Vegan and vegetarian options also abound. I've heard folks rave about the croissant french toast and the cinnamon toast here but havent tried either myself. I have had multiple omelettes here and all were excellent. The cuban breakfast was my favorite. The spinach jalepeno pesto it's served with makes it 5 star category.
Service and food is awesome! Not a cheap breakfast but well worth it!
Ok food, a bit pricey for a simple sandwich, but nice place in downtown with friendlt service
