At the present the business has a score of 4.6 out of 5 and that score was based on 288 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is nearly the top, and it's founded on a very high number of scores, so we may conclude that the evaluation is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to give their feddback when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to put opinions when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Coffee Shop is included in the category of Coffee shop.
Best cappuccino in the city. And it’s aesthetically pleasing and usually quiet.
Great spot right downtown. Coffee is good. Could use more staff. Only one person behind the counter and had to wait 15 minutes for 2 Capps even though there were only two folks ahead of me. Still, it’s a good place.
Decent
What a disappointment! Came from out of town to check out this place and they had nothing! No hazelnut syrup for my coffee, no breakfast burritos( which are on the menu) and no ceramic mugs for sale. When we asked about the mugs, the owners replied” I guess I can run down to the basement if you really want a mug”. Well then, I guess we don’t want one if we are going to inconvenience him. So my wife and I ordered a coffee and a bagel. And the bagel was toasted, but they couldn’t even take the time to spreed the cream cheese on the bagel! I thought that such I paid so much for a bagel, you could at least put the cream cheese on it for me
Excellent coffee! Went out of my way when I was in town (from Chicago) just to go to Bee Coffee.
Bee Coffee is easily one of my favorite coffee shops in downtown Indy. I go there every year during Gen Con and I never regret it - their specialty drinks are amazing, and the other items that they sell (t-shirts, mugs, etc.) are pretty cool too. The drink that I always get is the Serenity (it went by "Rivendell" during Gen Con this past year). It's a cappuccino with honey and lavender, and It left such a lasting impression on me that I try to have it made at every other coffee shop that I go to. It's definitely a winner in my book. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed too - just imagine a small town, university-based coffee shop and you get the idea. A few people have mentioned how clean this place is and I couldn't agree more. It's definitely a lot cleaner than most of the "Big Box" coffee shops that I've been to (the ones that tend to be more green and black). The price may be a little high to some (most of their drinks range from $4-6 after tax), but you get what you pay for - quality is definitely one of Bee Coffee's strong suits.
I have seached Indy for real coffee, visited 4 other "coffee" shops(they shall not be named) in 2 days, and was about to give up when there was a small glimpse of hope when i found Bee's web page. Real espresso machine and a real Barista to use it. I drove 30 min out of my way and wasn't disappointed. Finally got my morning latte WITH latte art that stayed till the bottom of the cup. Thank you Bee. Indianapolis would be dark without you.
This place is pretty tiny, but the service and products are worth it! I ordered a strawberry-mango smoothie and it was amazing! The mango tasted really good and natural, which doesn't always happen depending on your cafe. Their pastries are pretty tasty too :)
Triple latte ftw. These guys know what they're doing! Don't go to Starbucks. Go here.
Best coffee in all of Indy
real coffee.
The best coffee in Indy. Great coffee beans. It is so fortunate that Indy has the Bee Coffee Roasters!
So cute and always good service
Simply the best coffee I've found in Indy.
Couldn't bee any more awesome, so thrilled this quaint coffee shop is right by the convention center and my hotel. Amazing selection, Indy Slow Food designation and delicious, healthy options. Great service, they even helped me clean up a coffee spill on my new dress!
Great local coffee shop. Check it out next time you are nearby. You won’t regret it.
Even when as busy as their namesake they get out good coffee. I thank you as a GenCon attendee often in need of coffee.
Bee Coffee Roasters had some of the best coffee I have ever had. While I was in town I went there at least twice a day. They also typically have a wide selection of coffees to choose from and even have some exotic brews.
Really nice people and delicious coffee! Recommend the Peru pour over and traditional cappuccino
They make a great cup of coffee. Located right next to convention center. Easy to get to. Decent breakfast burritos for not being Central US. Loved it here. Spent a couple days visiting this shop while in town for Gospel Coalition Conference.
Wish they had locations in chicago!
Amazing coffee and service. Great quality merchandise for those interested as well
Bee is added to my very small list of places in Indianapolis where you can get good proper coffee. Good balanced flavor, good consistency on the milk, and good temperature. Nice work!
Best coffee in Indianapolis!
Best coffee and people in IN
Honestly the best iced coffee in Indy. Right outside the convention hall and just WOW. They even do coffee catering with some notice.
A friendly, creative, and knowledgeable staff! Great tea lattes.
The staff here have the best knowledge of coffee in town.
Various variety available and polite staff, the only thing is parking.
Bee's has always been polite, efficient, and witty even in the face of huge crowds. Love these guys!
Great espresso. Fun staff.
Love, love, LOVE this coffee shop! I come here almost every day to get school work done and it is a great, relaxed atmosphere with very friendly staff! Their coffee is to die for and their smoothies taste so clean and natural. Highly recommend this shop!
Got a hazelnut Latte. Coffee was rich, strong and deeply flavorful. I'd come back at the drop of a hat!
Good choice of coffees and reasonable on price
Had the honeybee latte iced with half the syrup. LOVED IT. Will be back. Very helpful staff. I could see it being slow with the one employee during a busier time. Store was on the small side. Inside there is a two-person table and maybe 4-6 bar stools. Outside, there is two picnic tables.

The coffee is very good! The service is friendly and fast!
Great service and amazing coffee. Always a treat.
Spectacular coffee and grab and go breakfast. Keeps up with Gen Con without skipping a beat. Best iced coffee I've ever had, bar none.
Friendly, easy going staff. Nice cappuccino. Eclectic and honest.
Comfortable space, friendly staff, and their roasted coffee and signature cappuccinos that we purchased we're both enjoyable.
Came in for a black coffee and they recommended the Asiago cheese bagel. Both were absolutely fantastic! Price is definitely right.
Absolutely love their Chai. I wish they were open at 5am when the Amtrak comes through.
It's not starbucks
Good to great coffee. Food is so-so
Best coffee in indy!
Could not find a place to park
Coffee and croissants were yummy! Worth coming back for their special kinds of coffee ;)
Decent coffee and good people!
This is the real deal. If you want good coffee come here!
Good service. Nice selection of snacks and drinks. Very reasonable prices and I loved my drink. Good place for travelers to start their morning.
This is my favorite coffee place. Service is great, prices are fair and coffee is high quality
This place is incredible! The staff are incredibly friendly, the drinks are delicious, and they even have prepared foods and snacks. My favorite thing about this place is how involved they get during Gencon and Comic Con! During Gencon they have punch-cards that let you earn dice, and during both conventions they have themed drinks! Generally the staff dresses up and geeks out too! Fairly priced too.
Coffee was good, no good food options, and the barista was kind of rude. Cute spot, but would not go back.
Great Coffee in DT Indy, not much to eat, but the coffee is top notch, and the staff is super nice
You know it's good when the beans are used in special Lick ice cream flavors.
Creative summer drinks and a cozy location tucked into the downtown bustle.
Loved the cold brew, so delicious. However waited 30 min for it, understandably busy. But, also very small setup for a nice place.
High quality local coffee.
Good coffee, excellent barista-styled drinks. Not much seating. Great Geeky menu names.
Excellent coffee, excellent staff, excellent owners. Wonderful atmosphere.
Great coffee and service
Not much seating but good coffee.
Really good experience!
Cortado very tasty.
Nice people, strong coffee. I was bummed about their hours though. I was at a conference across the street and really wanted some over the weekend and found that it was closed.
Good coffee and great service. Nice quiet part near downtown Indy. Not a lot of seating but places nearby to enjoy your coffee.
Frozen hazelnut is amazing
Wonderful coffee and very friendly service
Very good place to get a pour over. Staff was super friendly and the coffee was 8/10.
Bee's has such unique drinks, and is an absolute MUST VISIT during Gen Con.
Fantastic!
Expensive
comes to coffee, my family and I always find ourselves turning our backs to this coffee shop. Their regular coffee, espresso, caffé americano, café latte, cappuccino, long black, and even their smoothies have a distinct taste that makes them stand-out from the rest. One of their amicable waiters has also told us that their baristas underwent long-spanned training before brewing behind the shop’s bar which is why they perfectly craft latte art and make the best-tasting coffees.
Small but mighty. Go here if you’re someone that likes to wax poetic about your favorite single origin roasts and brew methods.
The Honey Bee Iced Latte was delicious! Hands down the best food/drink item I've gotten since I've been in Indy.
Terrible coffee, I threw it away
Bee isn't bad. We have a regular meetup there once a week and it works for that. It may be a function of the early mornings when we arrive but service is generally slow but good and the product delicious. I think they're still figuring things out a bit so things may well continue to improve
Bets coffee in town, period.
18 and 29 the two baristas were, and they were supremely pleasant. If I didn't have to catch the bus, I could have stayed for a chat and sipped affordable brews all day. The latte was fast, the iced - was cheap, and the best part? Not only did they have milk substitutes but they had a wide-variety covering everything from soy to oat! Great place, and while just a little father than Starbucks from the bus station, the cost and familiarity was well worth the extra round arou around the beautiful neighborhood's block.
The best coffee downtown.
Great coffee, great breakfast burritos. Do it!
Loved the coffee! The "Doctor" was great!
Very cool little coffee shop!
These baristas are so powerful
Cappuccino was good, not great. Kind of a weird location.
Nice
The coffee is always outstanding...so is the playlist
Great coffee, nice people, good location and atmosphere. Go to this place. I had the black pour over (I can't pronounce it, started with a k) and it was good.
The coffee was good and the staff was very friendly.
Very nice place, great prices, friendly staff :)
Visiting from Cleveland and my hotel coffee is terrible! So glad I found this coffee and pastry shop. I saw the turquoise color from the street and I had to go in! The drip coffee is amazing and the croissants are the best I have ever had, baked fresh daily and locally. I have come here every morning since I got here and I will miss this local gem!!
Local coffee with a big heart
Excellent coffee! Small place but good atmosphere. Stopping here is a MUST! It’s worth it.
Don't expect cream cheese to be adequately stocked during gencon
Best cafe in Indianapolis
Tasty coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. They have wifi that works(!) and one of the best coffee spots I have found in Indy.
Love the coffee. This is a great place. A must try
Amber is the bestest barista ever!
Bee is a good coffee spot. Not in my top five in the city but good place to go if you're at the convention center and want a real coffee.
Delicious coffee
Always memorable delicious during my yearly pilgrimage! Staff is entertaining and friendly, even when slammed.
This freaking place. Great staff and amazing coffee. Forget the other places and get your fix at Bee Coffee.
This drink is amazing and they were very kind!!
Very good coffee. Bought some coffee while at convention center during Popcon. They are conveniently located across the street. I had to come back the next day, from home, because my credit card was not given back. However they gave me free coffee for my inconvenience. Will definitely return whenever I am in downtown Indianapolis.
Very friendly staff and great coffee, can't really ask for more
Best Pumpkin Spice Latte I've ever had . . . fresh ground nutmeg on top!
The owners are nice and their coffee is amazing!
Great coffee and a knowledgeable staff.
Nice place, clean environment and great coffee. I love the salted caramel latte.
Great service knowledgeable and the coffee was best...
Great coffee and sweets
This could be my favorite coffee shop in Indy. They always have a rotating selection of beans from different growth regions. The espresso drinks include classic and inventive options. There is a good selection of pasteries to round out your cuppa. Seating is very limited with a window counter, a single table, and a few seats in the corner. I love how they take part in local events, like GenCon, with themed menu items. If you're downtown, skip the larger coffee chains and give these local guys a try.
Awesome service and knowledgeable about product. Made great suggestion for my guest who wanted something different.
Solid coffee and single origin espressos.
We are definitely loving this coffee shop! When it comes to coffee, my family and I always find ourselves turning our backs to this coffee shop.
Beautiful place, good coffee and great atmosphere. Will be coming here a lot
Best coffee in Indy!
They had a great espresso (I'm from Europe, so I was dying to have a good European espresso!), amazing energy and great staff!
Down to earth, pure awesome coffee and a good price. The pour overs put drip coffee to shame. When ever I am at the convention center, this place is usually my start and middle and end of my day.
Awesome all year, especially for conventions! Great coffee and breakfast for your sweet tooth. Super friendly staff. One of my favorite spots in Indy. Be sure to try their coffee! The place even has a great smell.
When at the convention center this is a great foodie refuge in the tourist trap area. The traditional espresso drinks and pour overs are fine, nothing to complain about but nothing to rave about either. On the other hand their Chai tea is made in house and is wonderful! They also have been very good over the couple years I've been in of trying new things which I always appreciate.
Reasonably priced and full flavor coffee. They try to balance seating and mechandise sales given traffic flow. Good setting for a quick seat or grab and go drinks.
Delicious coffee, nice servers. Stayed open 24 hours for gencon!
If you like coffee. You'll love this place! Everything was done to perfection and with a genuine smile.
Good coffee close to the convention center. Order it, buy it, drink it!
Best coffee in town. Great Baristas.
They were open early and due to my Jetlag became instant heroes as they fixed my coffee problem! Thank you unsung heroes!
We ordered lattes with extra espresso shots and when we got our coffees it was all completely foam. For a $6 coffee, I expected it to taste like something other than foamy milk, I actually never got a drink of any liquid. Also we ordered a large and I said and a small but the guy taking my order said we don't have a small, it's a medium. There were only two size options on their menu.
Espresso was smooth and rich. Along the flavor lines of Ily.
The coffee was good. There is limited seating if you are looking to sit with a group.
Our drinks were delicious. Our pumpkin spice latte was made with real ingredients.
Consistently perfect Lattes. One of my top go to coffee shops.
Great baristas and very tasty espresso!!
Excellent whole bean coffee roasted locally!! Easily five star bar none.
Got the lavender honey coffee and almond scone. Both were amazing and the barista was wonderful!
hands down my favorite coffee shop in Indianapolis
Love this place. Very friendly and great coffee. They always stay open 24 hours during Gen Con and theme the shop and drinks. They also wear costumes that weekend. I usually stop by at least 4 or 5 tines during my stay in Indy for the convention.
Awesome coffee
Excellent locally roasted coffee. Great for a hipster java hit.
Very friendly and informative. Love there expresso drinks !
The Doctor is the best coffee drink I have ever had. Absolutely delicious! YUM
Always nice
Solid as a rock
Could have been better.
Best coffee in Indy ☕
They were quick to cater to my company's need for large amounts of coffee for an event. With only a moment's notice! Great tasting coffee and great personalities making it. Seven thumbs up!
Great coffee
How coffee should be: lovingly prepared from well-roasted beans. Skip the Starbucks and head to this local place instead!
Best salted caramel latte around
What an awesome coffee shop. The barista was extremely knowledgeable, patiently answering my questions about the roast origins and uses. I even got some nifty recommendations about what to visit in the city. Loved the small reading nook by the windows. Great experience! *Update 1 year later: Still phenomenal service, and the honey latte is delicious! New favorite!
Great service. There was only one worker and she did such a great job gettung everyone taken care of quickly. The coffee is wonderful I had a salted Carmel Mocha latte. Thanks!
I don't want to drink any other coffee when bee coffee roasters is an option. They deal with crazy crowds with a smile on their face.
The Hand Brew Columbia is just as described with a nutty build to a semi-fruity finish. Atmosphere is pretty typical of a smaller coffee shop. I was able to sit and sift through a few emails and remain productive with the bustle in the background. Staff was friendly as well. Would recommend.
My go-to place for GenCon! I love how much fun the staff has during big events!
