One of the best Restaurant! The menu is moderately great, and everything sounds marvelous. Best pancakes I've ever had! The cinnamon roll pancakes were super fluffy and delicious. Pancakes are my favorite breakfast food and when they are done right, they are amazing. The staff here is super friendly and they are also so attentive. I highly recommend these places.
Delicious! Wish it were closer to home. I went with three people and we all got very different dishes and they were all amazing!
Everything pancake is too sweet here... lucky that I did order a salty fish for myself. Not a bad place for family and friends tho.
Good, quick service and great food. The portions are large, so come hungry. You’ll have to wait a bit but you can add your name to the waitlist on Yelp! to jump on the list early.
such a great breakfast spot, love the food and the prices
Food is ok, hardly fabulous. Distinguished mostly by being "over the top," gaudy, pancakes covered with chocolate and whipped cream. Portions immense...think of how much food they must waste each day, to justify the high prices!!
Hands down the best pancakes! The service is exceptional. We were originally told we would have to wait 45 minutes, but only waited 15. The service was fast and the workers were very friendly. My husband and I loved the welcoming atmosphere. We will be back!
Great place for breakfast. Good customer service. I ordered the seasonal lavender white mocha which was exceptional. Definitely worth a try! Ordered the veggie omelette with fruits and subspecialty chocolate chip and banana pancakes. The portion size is moderate and is able to feed 2 people. The entrance is at the side of the building off the side walk. Has a little patio in the front. Nice place. Highly recommended!
We have been here two different days of the week (Sunday and Monday) and both times have had really long wait times. It's worth it. If you download the yelp app (which pains me to do, as yelp is a terrible company) you can definitely get in a little bit quicker. Everything here is good but the pancakes especially are unbelievable.
About an hour long wait, but it was worth it. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was high quality. I ordered the crepes and would personally recommend them, as I thought their quality stood out compared to other menu items.
The food was sooooo good and the give you a lot!! The staff was nice and professional. Well worth the visit.
I drive 45 minutes here for one thing. Danish Crepe. It’s my favorite. Delicious, rich. Fulfilling. Other things I’ve tried are also excellent. Love this place. The buffalo chicken grilled cheese that’s currently a special is fantastic too. So is the Los Altos Egg Benedict if you’re into that. It’s spicy and the chipotle hollandaise is very good. That danish crepe though, it keeps me coming back.
I love A GREAT skillet!!!! and this place has them for days on end!
Food here is great and so are the smoothies. Service is ridiculously fast and staff is very nice
Very good food. Pancakes are perfectly done. Hash browns are well done. Service was wonderful. Seated quickly and didn't have to wait long.
My husband and I often come to Schaumburg for shopping. We had a very nice breakfast here this morning. The interior is not fancy but looks very cozy. The dishes were very delicious. I was very impressed with their scrambled eggs as they had unique flavors.
Had incredibly fast service besides it being rather busy. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was beyond delicious and was everything we expected. We took our time and were in and out in under 45 minutes. Definitely a great place to grab breakfast.
So overall the is a great place and the food was delicious. That being said my experience was a little off. We sat outside which was beautiful out, but we were sat right next to the bus tubs and all the servers kept slamming all the dishes in the bin. There was also a bit of a bee problem which I understand there’s only so much you can do about that but was also a take away from our experience. The food was delicious and honestly the best part. Service was pretty bad our server could clearly care less about helping us with just about anything. Seeing how nice and accommodating she was to the other tables she had she was nothing like that for us. Between how many times I got up to get something for our table and asking other servers help it was clear she was not wanting to do her job.
Great variety of dishes and any of the berry dishes are good picks. I like the environment because it is open, bright and spacious.
Awesome food and quick friendly service. Will definitely go here again the next time I am in Chicago.
My boyfriend and I went to Wildberry for the first time. When we first pulled up the parking lot was extremely packed! Not to mention they have a valet service available if you like to go that route. It stays packed because the Costco is in the same parking lot. After we parked. We placed our names on the waitlist which was an hour and 20 minutes. I was skeptical on waiting. We did. Our service was exceptional. The food amaaaaaazing! Every bite was out of this world. We ate breakfast. The portion size is huge! Definitely worth the wait! If you don't have the YELP app. Download it! If there is a wait you can review the waitlist, place yourself on the waitlist as well.
Delicious breakfast in the Schaumburg area. Service was great. Wait time (over 1 Hour weekend brunch time), wait area ( May be 8-10 seats), and parking availability needs improvement, otherwise a five star value for $ place.
Great breakfast, excellent service
Extremely popular and busy brunch place. For a table of two, we waited about two hours. It was worth the wait however. Their breakfast was delicious but also really big portions. Definitely don't need to eat after this meal. Very memorable was how you can get their famous pancakes on the side on top of trying another meal. Their pancakes are very fluffy!
I visited Wildberry in Schaumburg on a Wednesday at 1115am with my wife, mom and 5yr old son. It was a beautiful day so we didn’t mind the 15min wait outside and the yelp app was convenient for checking my place in line. Our server was friendly and attentive and the food was fresh and tasted great. I had the Denver Skillet and the portion size was very large. My wife had the Napa Fig omelet and she really enjoyed it. My mom also had an omelet and my son had the silver dollar kids pancakes. Everything was great! We usually avoid this place on weekends because of the long wait for a table but the restaurant partners with Yelp to allow people to check-in in advance to minimize wait time. We will have to try that next time to see how it works. Looking forward to trying more selections next time we visit.
I have had breakfast in almost every restaurant in Chicago and nearing suburbs. Wildberry is one of the most delicious charming and welcoming breakfast houses in the area. However get there early because it's so good people just keep coming and coming. From my experience, you typically waiting after 8:30.
Oh my god! This place is a must! The food, service and portions are incredible. The waiter was also super friendly and very helpful with recommending spots in Chicago because we aren’t from Chicago. One con would be the wait time, we put our names on the list and it took 1.25 hours to get a table. Honestly it was worth the wait.
Decent size patio with lots of shade but expect to wait 20 mins or so to be seated depending on the time of day, but it's worth the wait. Portions are large and the food is all fresh and tastes great. They also have freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juice.
Ate breakfast here with our 2 year old. The servings are huge. I got a skillet and it can easily feed two adults. The pancake plates come with 6 pancakes. So keep that in mind when ordering. Overall great experience and good food.
Still one of the best breakfast places I ever been too love there lemonade
One of the best breakfast spots in the area!!! I go there with my wife from time to time and I must say I’m always a satisfied customer. Wait time is a little long, but it’s definitely worth the wait!
This place is so popular we had to wait a long line to get in the restaurant. The food is good and also service was good. The portion was huge I couldn't even eat half of mine
Quaint little place!! Very busy, but waiting time was not long at all for a group of 4. Food was absolutely incredible, fresh and fast!! Our server was Sophia and she was beyond amazing!
Great food and nice supporting staff.
This place was so busy when we got there. It was about an hour wait but honestly it flew by pretty quick. I tried their special called “Berry Bliss” crepes and boy, was it a blissful experience! The mascarpone with the combinations of the berries blended in so well with their fluffy and soft crepes. My friends got their skillet and the portions were huge. We still have a bunch of left overs. I totally recommend!
Amazing food and service!! Los Altos Benedict Eggs were Superb, Kudos to the person in the Kitchen! And Jasmine was EXCELLENT with customer service and always polite and with a smile!! Great job!
Delicious and reasonably priced. The service was great too. The brisket hash was fantastic!
Our waitress was great! The help were nice and seemed to like working with each other. The food was phenomenal! Signature berry pancakes! Fantastic!!!
Ordered the brisket grilled cheese and my wife got a skillet with pancakes. The brisket was tender and fit perfect on the grilled cheese. The skillet had a good ratio of everything. Eggs were fluffy. The pancakes hands down one of the best.
Love coming here for breakfast or brunch. Tomas goes above and beyond by checking up on our party to make sure we good y siempre muy amable!
Wildberry is always a favorite of mine to eat breakfast at. They alwas have interesting dishes and pancake creations that always end up being very tasty. Also, the staff are very friendly and attend to the customers as frequently as possible. If you are willing to wait a little while for your food, you should definately dine here. It's worth it :)
Love the lattes! Menu is big. Have tried 3 things and will be back for more. Clean
Absolutely an amazing breakfast! We had the Signature Wildberry Pancakes and the California Fig Omelette. Both were amazing. My wife really like the omelet but I took the figs out. The Pancakes were the best I’ve ever had!! Highly recommend the Wildberry Bliss. I is so delicious. Service was also wonderful. There was a long wait but text message call in worked great as we went to the Bean and Park across the street while we waited. No problem. It is a small lobby area and it was very crowded but the wait staff were super efficient and they got people in quickly when a table opened up. Well worth the wait.
Friendly service. Must have pancakes.
This place is wild. It's got seriously delicious food, amazing service, and the prices get you food that is both rich in quality and quantity. Our server, Jeremy- that guy is seriously good. You can tell he's worked in customer service his whole life. He oozes charisma like the crepes I ate oozed berries and cream. Seriously, if I were rich, I'd hire him for something. I don't know what, but he'd make a hell of a lot more than he does serving. Out. Stand. Ing. Please, if you're in Chicago for even a short trip, pop into this place. You will not regret it.
Fantastic! What can I say more about it. Good service excellent breakfast Being from CHICAGO it's a lil ride. I wish I could visit more often. I can still taste those awesome PANCAKES.
Delicious and worth the wait. Pancakes are the best!
Mmmmm! Great salads and pancakes. Friendly staff. Nice restrooms.
This has become my go-to place for delicious food, good sized portions, and friendly service near Millennium Station. When traveling through Chicago in the morning, stop here for light fluffy pancakes, eggs benedict, slow roasted brisket, or biscuits & gravy. I have had each of these dishes and never been disappointed.
I just love this place! Everything on the menu is delicious.
Fantastic food and great service!! Would eat my way through the menu if I lived in Chicago. Yum!!!
Great food and staff
Be prepared to wait (or join the waiting list via the yelp app beforehand) - it is definitely worth it, though. Bustling place with friendly service and most importantly, tasty food! Portions are enormous, can easily be shared between 2 people. If you are after a quiet, peaceful breakfast, this is NOT for you. If you look for great comfort food to set you up for a day's exploring in this great city then you have come to the right place.
It’s amazing, everybody should try it! So good breakfast and perfect service! I came 30 minutes before closing, but they gave me a table and fed me. Thank you, guys!
Restaurant/food was fine. Waiter was terrible. Only had party of 3 for breakfast. Brought 2 wrong orders to the table. How difficult is it to review the order BEFORE delivering to the table. Apparently it’s a challenge for some people. Food was good, would’ve been nice to eat what we ordered.
DEEELICIOUSS!! My pumpkin pancakes were absolutely scrumptious. I recommend them. Wow.
Wildberry is fantastic. My sons and I arrived around 12:30pm. There was a little bit of a wait, but the hostess was attentive and apologetic. We were seated in under 10 minutes. The portions were substantial, hearty, filling and delicious. Our server was very helpful and friendly. She managed to check in on us at least six times during our meal. Quality service! Enjoy the experience. Nice coffee bar too!
Always great brunch and great service!
Food was amazing. Get there early, because the line begins to get very long around 8am. Our service was great. Definitely recommend!
Get in line via Yelp app!!. Otherwise you could be waiting 2.5 hours. This is a busy bustling breakfast/brunch spot. Unique menu options, both healthy and not so healthy. I had the Napa Fig Omelette. It was amazing but I love figs. My husband had the Southern Eggs Benedict. Also very tasty. Overall worth the trip!!
Absolutely amazing staff and incredible food! I highly recommend getting “in line” using the Yelp app well before you make your way to the restaurant....or you could be in for a long wait. This place gets crowded. They run a smooth op once you’re seated. Our food came out really fast despite how busy they were. We loved everything we got...four different dishes. Thanks!
Had to wait to get in, but definitely worth the wait. Friendly waiter. Delicious food. More than you can eat!
Food was absolutely delicious! The place was pretty busy when we went but we used a table saving app so the wait wasn't too long and it was worth it all the same. Not from the area but would definitely come back the next time we are visiting!
Large portion for breakfast. It's a super busy restaurant so the waiter was not as friendly as others ( my opinion). The food was good and full enough but will recommend come earlier cause it usually full of customers.
The menu choices are expansive, even including g/f options. The food was delicious and prices were very reasonable. The kids menu was awesome and they got a ton of food! The honey nut latte was delicious! I would definitely recommend going!
I love A GREAT skillet!!!! and this place has them for days on end!
Great place for breakfast.
Amazeballs. And they serve Intelligentsia coffee, super bonus. A popular spot for our family to brunch, we've never had a bad experience, other than overeating. Can get busy, and wait times can be frustrating, but they offer a mobile app for online check in with accurate updates which has streamlined everything. Portions are big, easy to share between two people to save on the wallet.
The food was amazing! Our waiter was quite honestly one of the best waiters I've ever had. He was informative in helping us make decisions, and just so nice!! I'd say it's worth the wait!
Never got my sour cream I ordered
I would rate this restaurant a 10 if it allowed me too, but the limit is 5 stars. The service from the servers and quality of food is top notch. I would recommend Wildberry to anyone looking to treat themselves to the best breakfast/ brunch restaurant in the area.
A couple of friends and I came in here for breakfast yesterday and were blown away! The service was extremely quick! The food came within 15 minutes even though this location was slammed! I loved the southern eggs Benedict--best spicy sausage gravy. I also got to try the Wild Berry French Toast and the Blackberry Lemon French toast both were phenomenal. I'm a customer for life.
The brisket was tender and juicy. The sausage gravy was full of spice and flavor. They serve their coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice in to-go cups. Super smart for people on the run. Rather you want a great spot to enjoy breakfast,Famous for their signature Wildberry stacks. It's chaotic & very busy, but the staff here do a great job handling the crowd & seating.
Pancakes? Light and fluffy and taste like cake. Amazing potion sizes served by staff who are tuned to your needs. A wide selection of options with pancakes and skillets that are to die for. The place is usually filled so finding a table becomes pretty difficult especially early in the morning. Any time I am in Chicago I make sure to visit them and you should too.
Overall a great experience! Several breakfast and brunch options on the menu to choose from. Portions are generous for what you are paying for. Several sides to choose from as well that are in good portions. Service was friendly. Outdoor seating was comfortable in the morning hours.
This place is amazing ! we got seated right away and our food came so fast. I ordered pancakes and forgot to mention that i didn’t want powdered sugar on them. I told our waitress and within seconds ( yes seconds) she came out with some new pancakes. highly recommended coming here if you’re in chicago.
Absolutely delicious!!! Service was great, flavors were on point and they were very prompt. I had the brisket hash. The brisket was tender and juicy. The sausage gravy was full of spice and flavor. They serve their coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice in to-go cups. Super smart for people on the run. Rather you want a great spot to enjoy breakfast, or you need something quick but don't want fast food, this is the place!
A must stop! Make sure to “get in line” on Yelp, before you head over to save yourself the wait. We always stop here for the gluten free waffles, but they have lots of other gluten free options. The corned beef skillet was filling and packed full of flavor. Most of the savory breakfasts come with a side of pancakes (or toast) and even their plain pancakes are to die for! You can upgrade them to the specialty pancakes as well for a small charge. Despite the long line, the service is friendly and fast. Always a busy place!
Wildberry Pancakes & Cafe is heavenly! The sometimes two-hour wait is so worth it. Check-in early with yelp. The cinnamon roll pancakes are amazing! They are perfectly cooked and covered in a cinnamon glaze. The skillets are more than enough to feed two people and have a wonderful flavor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chicago!
Lovely place for breakfast! As I'm gluten intolerant, sometimes its hard to find places to eat, they had gluten free options available for pancakes and waffles, which is a treat for someone like me. Coffee and food was delicious, massive portion sizes though! Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and go back to eat at this place.
If you love pancakes, this is the place to be. Famous for their signature Wildberry stacks. It's chaotic & very busy, but the staff here do a great job handling the crowd & seating. The pancakes were delicious & their portions are hearty. I'm glad i shared w/ my friend instead of ordering my own stack. I plan on coming back to try their fig omelette.
I love Wildberry. I grew up in Libertyville and remember when they opened their first restaurant there. I used to get their potato pancakes but now always order the butcher block skillet. Their food gets my highest rating and is a great value for the money.
This is a great spot for brunch. Come early, there will be a wait, however, in the morning you can wait in the shade outsider the door. Even though this place is packed, the service is outstanding, very attentive. Food is delicious, reasonably priced, will definitely be back.
Excellent service, I had the Mexican breakfast skillet. Surprised at how spicy and hot the salsa was. Excellent food had by all in our party.
Popular popular. A lot of food and patrons not necessarily overweight suggests it's heavy on the tourist circuit. Expect to wait for your breakfast.
Good food and service once again. Very busy on the weekends, but they seem to move alot of customers. Will return.
Yummy!!! There was so much food in the skillet I ordered, it definitely could have fed two. Plus it came with two pancakes. I would definitely go back next time I’m in town. It reminded me of an iHop hut better. They offer skillets, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, French toast, sandwiches, paninis, smoothies. Something for everyone. Lots of gluten free options too.
Amazing food and amazing service. If I lived in Chicago I would go to this place every morning! I really liked their omelettes and ohhhh the pancakes were so delicious. I highly recommend this place if you are in Chicago.
The wait was over an hour long so my wife and I took a stroll down Michigan Ave. It was worth the wait!!! Our server was very knowledge and polite. The pancakes were delicious and fluffy soft. It tasted like yellow cake. I loved the friendly staff and ambiance
The service was excellent and the waiter was very helpful. We had everything from southern eggs Benedict, omelets, and crepes. All was delicious and bigger portioned than we could eat.
If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, this is the way to start it. Love the specialty pancakes! Go early. The app works great for ordering food. My favorite is the skillet meals with an add on pancake selection.
I went here with my best friend for a nice lunch. The portion they give you is plenty big enough to share! We shared a chopped salad as well as a California roll & toasted to a nice weekend together with a glass of wine for each of us. Everything was excellent! The service was wonderful. We were seated quickly on a busy Sunday. They had a very nice variety of food & drinks. We will come back here again☺
Yeah the food is good, except when I get a to-go order, this blue/purple Audi seems to always take up the to-go parking. I had called the manager and I was surprised that manager said she has no control over that. My guess is that it must be her car...how considerate.
I had breakfast here on Thursday morning and I absolutely recommend it for anyday of the week. The best pancakes I have ever had in Chicago.
Best breakfast place we've been to. We go here every time we are in Chicago.
It's great! It was my first time at that location as I usually go to the down town where there are hour waits for just 4. I came in with 5 on a holiday and got seated right away with no reservations. The food is amazing and it came quick. Another perk of Chicago.
We walked 2 miles to get here. Delicious breakfast menu. Will definitely be back when we are in town.
I reccomend getting on the wait list online or you'll be waiting for 45+ minutes. Waiter was helpful and super friendly. Pancakes are amazing with a variety of kinds. A must when you visit Chicago.
Wonderful food. Adequate service
An hour wait for Sunday brunch, but so very worth it! But while you do wait, the coffee bar can provide a morning pep, or snack to hold you over until a table opens. The iced cinnamon spice latte was slightly sweet, and refreshing. The food was fresh, and absolutely delightful, particularly the pancakes, which were by far my favorite part of the meal, and that's saying a lot.
Ordered the oreo pancakes, an omelette, and a skillet. All the items were really good. The pancake flavors are unique. An all around great breakfast spot.
Long wait great food
One of the best pancake restaurants in the suburbs
When I decided to come here I got seated in a couple of minutes and the people in the front told me that they would be with me right away. As soon as they were done they quickly got me seated and I got a cup of coffee and water. It took me awhile to decide so i had the waiter help me choose a dish as I was in the mood for something savory rather than sweet. The dish was alright and it wasn't what I was expecting. I wish that they would season the dish a little more however the pancakes were delicious.
We heard great things about this place so we came by for brunch. The place was packed and we had to wait nearly an hour to be seated but it was 100% worth it. The portion sizes are HUGE, especially for how much you're paying. I got the denver skillet with their signature pancakes and I must say that you have to get their specialty pancakes, best I have ever had!
Always busy. (That’s because food is yummy & service is great, people are going back). Saturday parking is difficult to find but you can park at Costco parking lot.
The waits here can get pretty long but it is worth it. The food is absolutely delicious. The service is always on top point. Not much more you can ask for.
Visited here for the first time. This was my experience. Went on a Friday morning around 10:30 a.m. Told wait time would be about an hour. While waiting, however, there were were groups of 3, 4 and 5 that came after us (just 2 of us), that were called before us. When asked why, we were told larger groups are on a different waiting period. Personally, that is extremely unfair and folks should be seated in the order in which they come. We were finally called over an hour. Went in, then was told the wait is an additional 10 mins. Typically, when called, it is because the guests are ready to be seated. Thus, this add more to the frustration. When we were finally seated, we realized there are only like 8-10 tables where they put all of the guests that appear in twos so simply be aware of this. Otherwise, the food was good.
Excellent food. Huge portions. No complaints. This place gets crowded so get there early or be prepared to wait abit.
The chilaquiles are really good! We also had the pancakes and french toast and everything was hot and fresh.
everything was so good !! i m not a big pancake fans but i really enjoyed everything here. i will be back i know
Great food, great service! Excellent variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options paired with the option for healthy choice sides. Pancakes are amazing. Place tends to be busy which just speaks to their greatness. Word is out, everyone knows!
Long lines. But the food was terrific. I enjoyed their breakfast. They serve all different types of pancakes.
I go here a few times a month for the last 4-5 years. The food is fantastic, and the service is great. It’s also very clean. The only thing to consider it that you need to be prepared for a wait if you go during “peak breakfast times”.
Food was fabulous and plenty of it.service terrific.Very busy place . There's a wait usually.
The food was delicious worth the wait
We brought our family to Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe for the first time today. They are so popular that there was over one hour wait... but it was worthwhile. The food is amazingly delicious. They have big portions but they don't loose quality over quantity. The service is incredible, our waiter was awesome. He had riddles for the customers and made us feel at home. This is definitely my new favorite spot.
Had brunch here. The food was good. I will be returning.
If you don't mind the extremely long wait times, this is one of the best breakfast places around, plenty of choices, nice helpful staff and delicious food. I ordered the barbacoa skillet with the signature berry bliss pancakes. And black currant iced tea. The skillet is a full meal in of itself the meat was delicious, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. But I wasn't about to miss their signature pancakes and I was definitely right to do so. The iced tea wasn't up to par but they will get a free pass on that.
Amazing breakfast place. The serving is huge and between the two of us, we were stuffed with an order of one person. Tried the scrambled eggs, Butter pancakes and house coffee. Had to book the table in advance because the place is always full. The meal was scrumptious and the service was great. Definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting downtown Chicago.
Had the berry bliss French toast, was terrific, if more filling Ryan I really needed. Liked the decor,b a combination of rustic and light & airy. Coffee was good but unremarkable, and the service was prompt and efficient. Definitely recommend it, but I'm still on the search for the best breakfast ever.
Our server Liz was very professional very good service. Food was great !!!
Pancakes are fantastic here. They will probably give you more than you can eat in one sitting, but it's worth it. Can be kind of busy, but it is worth the wait.
Be sure to make a reservation if you want to get in. They are definitely worth it. Best breakfast in Chicago!
Excellent breakfast place. Can be pricey on some things but large portions. *if you are a tourist budget 2 hours for the wait time on weekends.*
The Berry Bliss waffles is great! However, it fills like it very depends on a cook - sometimes it’s awesome and sometimes just ok. Unfortunately, the coffee quality is declining..
We obviously arrived at the perfect time for a party of two... 830 am. We were seated in less than 5 minutes and our food arrived not more than five minutes after we placed our order. More impressive than the friendly and efficient service was the quality of the food. I had the Denver Scramble and my wife had the wild berry pancakes. Both were delicious. The atmosphere is really cool too with the sort of vibe that makes a meal in a metropolitan area an event to remember. We have now been to Wildberry twice and I'm already excited to return. I highly recommend this establishment.
Good food. Crowded seating. Super long wait. I recommend the place for the food alone but be prepared to stand in line for a while and be kinda squished when you eat. Everyone at my table (6 people total) enjoyed their variety of food. Though it's not pictured, I think I like the cinnamon roll pancakes better.
Went with the family. Food was everything I imagined. Everything was great. Will be back for sure.
Decent brunch spot near the mall. Expect to wait an hour on the weekends. Gluten free options available. While waiting for a table, you can sit in the bar in the restaurant next door to avoid the post-church crowd.
Beautiful place with amazing food and awesome staff
I've been there last mother's day. So crowded and panic and We had to wait almost 3hours. So I thought this is a bad idea to come here at mother's day. I regreted. But after check in nice server makes me happy and calm. Every dishs were so delicious.
To avoid long wait times use Yelp to get on the waitlist ahead of time. Service was very quick and food was delicious. Don’t miss their signature berry bliss.
Excellent food, excellent service, delicious coffee. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
I came here for breakfast one morning after a recommendation from a friend (& seeing all the great reviews). We came within an hour of closing, so we didn't have to wait in a huge line. I ordered the chicken and waffles & my fiance ordered eggs, sausage and french toast. I also got a strawberry lemonade, and he got an iced tea (which was swapped for orange juice because we forgot American's iced tea is unsweetened compared to Canadian iced tea!). I am not sure the hype on this place.. perhaps just for the pancakes?? Our meals weren't anything special.. and costly at that too. My waffles didn't seem cooked through enough either.. 2/5 stars because although the waiter was super friendly and nice, the food was mediocre at best.
This place is worth the wait (expect up to an 1 hour plus wait time on a weekend)! The service and staff members are very professional, thorough, and very orderly. This place is also very clean and well kept. I ordered the "Very Berry French Toast" signature special. A meal to remember
Have been to this place with my colleague and everyone is a big fan of their breakfast options and shakes. Customer service is prompt. If you like avocado’s you have to try their avocado toast. Trust me will give your day a good kickstart. Its delicious and cooked the right way. Definitely recommend this place.
There was no wait, and not because they weren’t busy, in fact it was packed. It was clear they run their operations very well. Items like the Napa valley fig omelette and the full espresso menu make this place stand out from your traditional cafe. The food came out so fast we didn’t think it could be ours. It was delicious. Service and quality were outstanding. This little place is a gem we can’t wait to get back to.
I should start by saying that this place is PACKED on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Wait time can be more than an hour any time after 10am. However the food here has always impressed me and the service is attentive and fast. I hope they keep it up!
Big dining space with amazing pancakes. I got the berry supreme and a latte (the lattes are HUGE) and it was all delicious. Very nice staff and good prices.
Excellent place for breakfast.
Tourist spot! Be Aware! Not delicious brunch place. Simply busy crowded place. We ordered egg Benedict which came out with fully cooked poached egg!
Efficient with their reservations/queue system Great service! Dan was our server and he was very patient and had great "tableside manner" ;) The specialty wildberry pancakes are an "of course you gotta try"! Like what are you thinking going to Wildberry but not trying their special?! The Rutherford is such an intriguing omelette! Try it to experience a taste bud adventure. I am generally a fan of hashbrowns only when they're piping hot so generally I don't get them because once theyre cold they're a waste, but their hashbrowns are the only ones I enjoy both hot AND cold: surprise surprise the perfect hashbrowns do exist! The Veggie omelette needed some salt and peppe imo, and then it was good to go. A basic, yet well made choice. Their Cafe Latte is yumyumyum, but the cappuccino my friend did not like so much. I did not try it though so I can't give my honest opinion on it. I'd go again. And again. :)
There’s a reason there’s a long wait to this place. Great food! Our server was very busy but very polite too. Portions are a bit on the large size. Ticket for a family of 5 was $96...we ate well!
Waited an hour. After they called our name they wouldn't sit us because my child was using the bathroom. Then they gave our table away. I asked what's the difference if we sit first and then go to the bathroom? "We dont sit incomplete tables". We waited an additional 30 minutes. I dont care if the food is good or not. Bad service like that means I won't come here or recommend it.
Really really good breakfast
Place is amazing for breakfast! Staff and food are both great!
Quick and friendly service as well as delicious food served in perfect portion sizes. I went on a Thursday morning at around 10 am and was told the wait would be about half an hour but was called back 10 minutes later! We had an order of eggs Benedict with a side of veggie patties and berry granola crêpes. The eggs were perfectly poached and the English muffin was well toasted and never got soggy. Can't wait to come back!
Wow! This place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Chicago. The pancakes were absolute perfection. Fluffy, flavorful and light. The omelette was very delicious and the portions were so big, I couldn’t finish my plate and I always always finish my plate. The prices were much cheaper than I thought but expect 15-20 per person. Highly highly recommend. Pros: Food is incredible Staff is friendly (Jennifer was amazing) Fast service Healthy options Veggie and vegan options Cons: Closes at 2:30 pm on Sunday Coffee was blah but as good as Starbucks
My favorite breakfast restaurant. This location serves better quality than downtown counterpart. Great friendly ambiance. Huge waiting line due to local popularity and long wait time for food too. But taste and quality is paramount and definitely recommended to try out the fresh orange juice. Wish they had refills on it :)
Good breakfast place with a variety of eggs, french toast, skillets, waffles and pancakes. In general, you can't go wrong. Place always seems to busy. Some outdoor seating along with the indoor seating. Can be quite noisy with a lot of bustle.
Waited 45 minutes to get seated for a party of one after I was told 20 minutes. Food is fresher than other places but has absolutely no flavor. Apart of me believes that they know this because they brought me seasonings right before my food came. If you're older, sure, it's great. But if you want great tasting food there are many other better choices in Chicago. Don't settle for this place if you're really hungry and want great tasting food. They will make you wait and their food will not hit the spot...unless you have high blood pressure.
Great location next to the “Bean”. Abundant portions, fresh ingredientes, good attention, fast service... but food wasn’t that good. Not as tasty as it looks. Whipped cream was a little rancid. Still a pretty good place!
Great service, fresh intelligentsia coffee and quality food. Can't ask for more. They have a good variety of options for breakfast that will appease everyone. Had the chilaquiles. Definitely recommended.
We were a party of 3 and the waiting time was around 15 minutes (Thursday at 11 o'clock). Great service! The food was perfect and was served fairly quickly. The signature berry bliss pancakes and red velvet french toast are a must! Definitely coming back again.
Love the place. Ambience, staff and food are all great. Even though it was a busy weekend morning a small coffee counter on the entrance made the wait enjoyable. I believe I had "Almond Joy" coffee and it was perfect.
Best breakfast place in town. I have stayed in the area for few weeks recently and I must have eaten there 10 times. Each time whatever I ordered the food was delicious. The brisket hash was My absolute favorite . If you’re in the area, definitely pay them a visit, but be ready to wait in a long line to be seated.
It was very busy here and the service was still excellent. The food came fast and the drinks. The breakfast and pancakes were amazing. This place was really good.
I love their slow cook brisket mmmmm and their shakes are on point. I’m usually not a pancake person....but Please try the berry bliss pancakes because it is the best pancake ever.
Best breakfast spot in Chicago, with huge quality portions and long wait times that are very much worth it. All omelettes and skillets are accompanied by delicious pancakes. Will keep your stomach full for the entire day if you can finish the meal!
You’ll love this place! It has everything and more On the menu! Great food and good service!
This was an amazing brunch experience the coffee was on point, the service was very pleasant, and the food was so good I was ready to either go for a nice workout or pass out for a nap. The plates are huge so if you’re hungry this is a great spot. But no worries they have great little tins to pack up your leftovers. You’re definitely getting your moneys worth and the setting is cozy and clean. Highly recommend the crepes if you want some sweet breakfast but not a mountain of pancakes. Otherwise get a mountain of pancakes they dominate the pancake game here. I will continue to explore the Wildberry menu.
Love their French Toast Berry Bliss!
Awesome breakfast! The pancakes were delicious, for me no syrup needed. The wait staff was great, it’s amazing how they keep the flow going. The customers do their part in eating and finishing up, so the next group can enjoy some good food. I will definitely return.
What a wonderful breakfast experience in Chicago... Had eggs benedict and pancakes with hot drinks. Get there early! I went there at around 7am and didn't wait at all. But there was a crazy long line when we got out and people were being told to wait for at least an hour.
The food was excellent - large portions at a good price. The cauliflower hash is delicious. My sugar free caramel macchiato was sweeter than my husbands cinnamon latte so he drank it for me. There is a line to get in at the Millennium Park location, so plan accordingly. We were seated in about 30 minutes.
If you are visiting Chicago you must have breakfast here. It is absolutely amazing! Order anything, it will be good. There were 5 of us and we ordered a variety and nothing was subpar. Wake up early, it will be worth it, to go. The lines can get a little crazy if you wait too long.
Recently went here with a large group. We were easily accommodated and the staff was very attentive to our needs. I chose the tavern burger which was cooked to perfection. Additional, I highly recommend the sweet potato fries. Great place for breakfast or lunch.
Wait is extremely long for a weekend breakfast. 2 hour wait for 2 people on a Sunday morning. I did like the feature where they text you when it's your turn. I recommend you come early to put your name down, and go walk around the park or shops. Are the pancakes worth it? If you ordered a full size where they provide about 5 pancakes, the pancake to sauce ratio is a bit lacking. Pancakes are moist and fluffy, but I wouldn't wait 2+hrs
Wow i can’t say enough about this place! Wait wasn’t long at all, even though the place was packed. Kinda loud but that’s how it is when the food and service are as good as wild Berry’s! Prices are really good considering the amount of food they give. I couldn’t finish! The skillets are mountains LOL. Can’t wait to come back! Our server Danny was exceptional! So good. Hope when we come back he’s there!
The pancakes at Wildberry are simply the best! Large portion sizes of their well-made dishes fill tummies and hearts. The fig omelette we ordered on our last visit was delicious and so was the seasonal veggie skillet. The freshly squeezed orange juice here is a must-order if you stop by for breakfast.
This is one of the best places near Schaumburg to get Pancakes. Multiple flavored egg based pan cakes are available here. Location is quite easily reachable. Parking space being shared might fill up. Beautiful ambience and helpful staff. Good quantity of food with complemening side dishes.
This is my favorite brunch place in the area. Plan ahead because there WILL BE a wait on the weekends. If your party is less than 4 use the no wait app. Otherwise, go in and put your name in and go shopping in the near by strip mall. The food is outstanding and the servers are always friendly. We love coming here.
They will never ever get my business period. They said a one hour wait for a 2 top. Several 4 tops arrived after us and were seated before us. Multiple 1 tops were seated at tables for 4 and arrived after us. Our one hour wait was extended to 1 hour 15 min, then 1 hour and a half then and an 1 hour 45 min. Dont lie to your customers, just tell them the correct wait time. We left, and even though we live one block away we will never ever be eating here. Oh and here is the kicker, the host wouldnt let us use the restroom we waited for a table
By far one of my favorite breakfast places! Delicious pancakes and generous portion sizes! You can’t go wrong here for any breakfast lover. Word to the wise: This particular location is always packed, much like the Downtown location; however, it is a larger location. Check it out you won’t be disappointed.
The best breakfast I have ever had on multiple occasions! Worth the wait when it's super busy
Had Egg bene & Mexican skillet, both were good. Highly recommend the Freshly squeezed Wild Berry Orange juice!!
Wow!!! great environment, excellent service and the food was amazing. I had ordered the Berry Waffle with whipped cream on the side.
This place is amazing. We ate here for breakfast Saturday and Sunday while visiting Schaumburg from the Indianapolis area. Highly recommend!
We love Wildberry Pancakes & Cafe!! This is the BEST place for breakfast. Their service is great and the food and coffee is even better!! Everytime we're in Chicago we always stop by for breakfast.
Great selection of foods and atmosphere however prices are little high
Very yummy! Never disappoints. Consistent good food.
Various items listed on the menu, but decided to go with the recommendation of our lovely server - The berry pancakes and banana/chocolate chip pancakes. great portions, good prices and and cozy atmosphere. Will return again when visiting Chicago! Tip: Make reservations!! or go extra early - always a line up at both locations in Chicago.
Excellent for breakfast, very fresh dishes. I recommend that you come early or you could be waiting for awhile. Everything is top notch and big portions. There is a bar in the same building and they will let you go there and bring in a drink, great bloody Mary and minosas. I had the Greek omlet and was fantastic, fresh spinach and feta. Very friendly service, excellent in getting your order correct.
Great service and great food once again. When you are not the only person willing to wait an hour and a half for a seat... The food has to be delish!
The signature berry pancakes were awesome, the cappuccino was just okay... Therefore only 4 and not 5 stars
Delicious breakfast food! Have been here several times. Each time it was incredibly busy but didn't take longer than 5 minutes to get a table and the service was extremely fast!
The Best place for breakfast in Chicago! We were extremely pleased and pleasantly stuffed when we left. Perfectly priced for the portions you get. Reserved our spot online and got in at the approximate time they said we would. Will definitely return on our next trip to the Windy City .
Food was outstanding. Highly recommend checking in beforehand on Yelp. Saves time and makes the transition to eating faster! Which, given how good the food is, that's the whole point! Staff was accommodating and kind. Would definitely come again.
Amazing breakfast. The meat lovers skillet was a thing of beauty and it came with PANCAKES!!!! Great ambiance and the server was very responsive and friendly. Prices were comparable and did not break the bank. Would definitely return if I wasn't from Pittsburgh!
So good! Wonderful variety of food and fast service once you get seated. Clean and friendly, I'll be back next time!
Waited about 2 hours to get seated with a group of 7, but no regrets about it. Really outstanding food, especially if you're into pancakes. I'm more of a savory guy, but they made me a brisket omelette which was super satisfying, and the fries it came with were perfectly crispy. The waiting was the only tricky part: it was brutally hot they day we went, and there is no air conditioned place to sit and wait. We walked around millennium Park a while to kill time, but we didn't want to get too far in case they called us. All in all, that doesn't affect the eating experience; we shoulda known better than to try and eat food when taste of Chicago was in town
Big portion! Great pancakes!
Very good food! Highly recommend. I had the "Signature Berry Bliss Pancakes" they were to die for. Top 3 breakfast/ brunch spots on Chicago.
Great food portions! A nice quaint place to get your money's worth!
Good atmosphere. Great food.
Portions are the best. A bit high on the price side however
Some of the fastest service I've received even with them being moderately busy. Food was delicious and I will be returning.
Great place and food. Long wait but great food.
Love this place! I've come several times when I'm in Chicago. Positive vibe. Easy to get a healthy meal - hearty or light. Sometimes the waiting line goes down the block because it's so popular. Had great crepes, pancakes, hot cider with lots of berries.
Great Customer Service and the food came fast. Our waiter, Christian A was outstanding as was the food. I will def recommend this place.
So we got here and we waited for about an hour and 10 min. So I'm pretty sure this place would be good. We sat down on our table and the menu just had so many things to pick out of. Everything looked so good. I order the buffalo chicken wrap with homemade chicken soup, and my wife got the barbacoa skillet with the wild berry bliss pancakes... after eating it, it was so WORTH THE LONG WAIT! AMAZING FOOD! AMAZING PLACE! AMAZING PEOPLE! Would recommend this place without even thinking once or twice!
I would recommend the blended berry pancakes, French toast or crepes (those are underrated). Coffee drinks are also good!
Wildberry Pancakes & Cafe is quite literally as amazing as it is hyped up to be! You absolutely MUST visit this place if you are in the Schaumberg area and looking for a fantastic breakfast or brunch. Everything on the menu is freshly and expertly crafted, flavorful and will leave you satisfied. The prices are not too outrageous and the food you get is absolutely worth it. The only thing that can be a negative for this restaurant is the fact that is is constantly packed and busy and nearly impossible to park close to it. Always make a reservation if you plan to eat here or else you will be waiting a long time. Though, the wait is always worth it!
This is one of Chicago's hidden treasures. Make at least once breakfastat this fantastic restaurant.
Love this place for brunch. We got an outdoor table and weather was perfect. We tried the special berry pancakes and the mexican egg skillet. One of the best brunches in Chicago. Wait can be long so book a spot on yelp for a table. Well worth your time. Right across from Millennium park so we went off for a walk after our delicious meal. Service was excellent.
Went for lunch. Short wait, quick service. My blackened chicken kale Caesar salad was good - well-spiced chicken, fresh vegetables, lightly dressed
In town for Rolling Stones concert. Our friend that's a local took us there. Great food, large portions and fair prices. Lots of menu choices. Excellent staff.
Been here every time I’m in the area, the wait time is long but it is worth it. The banana bread French toast and wild berry bliss pancakes are some of the best things I’ve eaten. Their skillet is also super good. There hasn’t been anything on the menu I’ve gotten where I was disappointed. Great restaurant!
The food was delicious! Fresh blueberries on my pancakes were a nice touch. The portions were a nice size. My boyfriend and I took leftovers back to our hotel room. Only thing is they are closed by 1:30 or 2pm. We had no idea when we went for brunch the next day. This was very disappointing.
Oh those Berry Bliss Pancakes. Amazing! And the Napa Valley Fig omelette (pictured.) I love figs and it's so nice to get them on a local menu! Recommend using Yelp app to join the waiting list online before you arrive. Such great food. Great service. Will return!
Amazing food. The high rating speaks for itself. 4k people haven't been wrong. Affordable. Good portions ! I know its pancake place but best hashbrowns I've ever had !
It's just not worth your waiting. The portion are over too much. Eating the pancake was like having a war with the pancake, it supposed to be an enjoy and elegant time. Overall, it is nothing really special about the pancake, you could possibly make your own which will just taste same and looks same.
Great place for breakfast and coffee!
Great service, clean restaurant and the breakfast was off the hook wonderful!!
Wild mushroom omelet was really good! Crowded but the wait was shorter than expected
Delicious menu offered. Good for breakfast and lunch for me. I appreciate the immediate seating whenever come. Great location as it is right next to Schaumburg Costco.
Had a "Florence Benedict". Superb!
Great tasting food. Using Yelp app for waitlist is great tool to use. Just the waitlist on the app and it tells you when to check in.
Always the best way to start your day. Pancakes are next level delicious, there's a variety here. The menu extends to include a huge collection of famous dishes. Great service. Sometimes it sucks to wait out side for too long, it's probably worth it!
A long wàit but very delicious. Great service and large portions. Berry Bliss pancakes were amazing and chia tea latte was very good.
The best breakfast place ever seriously. Workers are super nice and give us good tables to sit at. Always recommend what is good!! I go like twice a month
Tasty food, quick service but a bit rushed at times. We were still eating when they brought over the check. My mum is a slow eater and was asked a few times if she was finished so they could remove her plate. I felt a bit rushed to be honest but overall the food was great.
Good is great but wait is way too long!
There is usually a long wait here, but they have a virtual line where you can wander around and be called back by text message. The staff is courteous and attend to your needs quickly. I didn't have to wait too long for my entree and once I was finished they continued to wait on me with coffee and water refills. The price for what you get is fair, considering they are constantly busy and a popular destination in downtown Chicago.
Always a favorite to take out of town guests!
Amazing experience! My son is on the Autism Spectrum and does better in a booth than chair. We do not always get a booth at restaurants because we are a party of 3. Wildberry was very accommodating!! They also had a kids drawing board waiting at the table to keep him busy❤️ Food was delicious and service was great!
It really does exist!!! A place that's has plenty of seating for little to no wait. Plenty of helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff. The best ice coffee I've ever had. Large delicious portions. Never eating anywhere else for the rest of my life. Moving across the street. Thank you guys!
Delicious food, well prepared and fills you up! Friendly staff, everyone had a smile. Nice atmosphere, a very comfortable dining room. A great place to eat with family!
A bit pricey for breakfast., but very good food. I had the granola berry waffle with a white mocha, hubby had a cinnamon roll pancake, which was amazing. Seating is a bit crowded, but not bad. Will definitely consider visiting again if in the area.
Only complaint I have is there is not enough stars to show how great this place is. The food was incredible and brought out in a timely manner. The attention to detail and presentation was phenomenal. Our server Sterling was polite and made sure our visit was perfect. They get all the stars and then some, as soon as Google adds a few more!!! This is where to find a great breakfast.
Nice breakfast/brunch place.
Favorite breakfast spot. Well worth the wait.
Despite being packed, serving was perfect: our dishes arrived in less than 10 minutes after ordering. Food and drinks were good enough. On our way out the lane was much much more longer, so earlier you come faster you get in. But it was worth the wait.
Very disappointed visit. Everything has tons of sugar. I ordered the signature pancake. The pancake is ok, but the jam is just condensed milk and some blueberry flavored condensed milk. There are only a few fruits in the plates. I have tried much better pancakes else where. Not worth it.
If Wildberry was in a smaller city I'd probably give it 4 stars. You can find as good, if not better, options in Chicago that are less crowded and touristy. Is it bad? No. Is it worth waiting 45 minutes for? Definitely not.
Love the place ! Food is excellent. I have nothing to recommend about the place.
Best breakfast I ever had. Totally willing to drive back from Detroit to get some.
This was the first time I've been there. Had the granola berry crepes. Absolutely fabulous! The place was packed, the waiting list was long, but the wait for a table was minimal. Excellent turnover rate, excellent service. Highly recommend Wildberry's!
A great spot for breakfast and brunch. They have such an extensive coffee and pancake list. They even have a small coffee stand set up by the entryway to get your cup of joe fix while waiting to be seated. This place does get packed, maybe because of it’s close proximity to Costco? Anyway it’s definitely worth the wait. I personally recommend there Napa fig omelette and any of there featured pancakes. They have a pretty unique menu that sets them apart from other similar cafes. Definitely worth checking out.
One of the best breakfasts I had in the states. The place is huge and full, service is super fast. Fresh ingredients. The coffee feels like a regular Starbucks which was a bummer, but other than that they scored perfectly.
decent food, decent price, parking sucks. Fast service.
Great food.
Delicious food. Wait was a bit longer than other breakfast locations, but that’s what you get on a Sunday around 9:30am. Our waiter was super friendly, nice, and attentive. Would recommend for a breakfast out with family and friends. I ordered an omelette with hash browns and chocolate chip banana pancakes - super delicious!
Great service. Great meals. My wife and I enjoyed every part of time there. We look to be back again.
It was nice for breakfast, enjoyed the wide range of pancakes and waffles... Good food and good service.
The food was amazing and Jennifer S. Was our server and she did an excellent job. Highly recommend if it is a weekend to put your name on the list on yelp so you only have to wait a fraction of the time wait was an hour and a half and by the time we got there and left our hotel we only had a half hour to wait at the actual restaurant.
5 stars is not a high enough rating!! From the moment we walked in i was impressed. The host was friendly. The waiter was helpful as it was our first time here. The kitchen staff must be full of magicians. The fresh cooked food arrived very fast. The food was delicious. The server did a great job delivering food to the table. The waiter checked on us and made sure we were doing ok. So that brings up the next question. When will you open a franchise in goshen Indiana?? Thumbs up!!! Jeff and Barbara.
Long wait. Make sure to make reservation through Yelp before otherwise you might have to wait for over 1 hour. Tasty breakfast and also big portions.
Absolutely delicious! Go early to avoid waiting for a table. I got the wildberry pancakes. Best pancakes I have ever tasted! My server was extra nice and kept checking on me throughout my time there. One hundred percent would come here again.
Came here awhile ago and forgot to write a review for this place. Long wait times. So get there early! Not a lot of in-restaurant waiting room. Most people just stand outside but if it's freezing outside, you are SOL =D Service was excellent despite being a busy place. I would definitely try to have some patients with the wait staff. This place can accommodate larger party sizes. I got their brioche french toast. I thought it was cooked just right. The bread wasn't burnt. The fruit toppings that I got were fresh and it was a great balance. I had their fresh squeezed orange juice and it was excellent. It didn't feel like extra sugar was added but honestly I couldn't tell because of the syrup. I would highly recommend this place and will be coming back here again.
My favorite brunch place ever!! I love the French toast and skillets here - I have never been disappointed with what I order. The only downside is the wait - usually about an hour on weekends.
This would be more like 4.5 stars. I believe we were served by the manager or the owner which was great. He let us know that we might have ordered too much food (and we did). After we dropped one item, he was impressed that we almost finished the food. Little did he know that I was very Very VERY full (can't speak for the rest of my family, but there were full as well, and they wanted to be on a diet). The only reason it is not 5 is we asked for extra plate so we can share, and the server forgot about it.
My experience here was excellent! First, the crew in charge of taking reservations and assigning tables was highly efficient. Secondly, my service was great. Our waitress too great care of us. Lastly, the food was amazing. I got the Oreo S'mores pancakes. They were delicious!
The wait on a Sunday morning can be over an hour at this location. Luckily I was able to join the waitlist through Yelp. After you enter the number of people in your party, they will let you know what time to check in (be on-site) at the restaurant. It saved us time and we were able to be seated within five minutes of parking! #sundaywins Get one of their espresso beverages while you're waiting for your delicious food to come. We got a tall cup of caramel macchiato ($4) topped with whipped cream. #whatcalories Is there anything better than the combination of caramel, apple and pecans?! Five fluffy pancakes served with crunchy apple slices doused in cinnamon and topped with candied pecans. On a separate platter, you have your warm syrup, whipped cream and a delicious blackberry jam. All great to add on top of your pancake!
This place has everything - great service, good vibe, delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, decent coffee but best of all, delicious food. And plenty of it. The skillet was so flavorful and the pancakes perfect. I just wish I had a belly big enough to finish it all.
My mom usually visit Chicago annually, and we make sure to have breakfast on our final day at Wildberry. The wait can be long since we always go on the weekends, but the service and food make it so worth it!
Its takes some time to get seated. Be prepared, but so worth the wait. We had The Butcher Blocks and the Biscuits and Gravy! YOU GOTTA try them!
Visited on a Thursday in March for breakfast. Fairly busy but we were seated and served quickly. Food was excellent. Waitstaff very pleasant. Clean place with neat atmosphere. My kids begged to go back here the rest of the weekend (but we like to try new places!). Kids portions were perfect for my 8 year old - but my 12 year old could have probably ordered off the main menu for a bit more food. Everything we ordered was perfect portion for us adults but we peaked at neighboring tables' plates and some breakfasts looked like large portions. So be prepared!
Trying not to eat too many pancakes these days but man this place is always spot on delicious, and if you want to go a little healthier they have amazing omelettes and plenty of other options as well. Usually crowded, but it's nice to give a phone number and hang out outside or elsewhere until they call/text you. Worth the wait.
The waiting is much shorter than Chicago and the breackfast quality is similar tough I think it needs a bit of improvement. I like that we coudl take outdoor seating which was very nice in Chicago summer. For us the Sevice was slow but I guess is because we ordered harvest omlet and benedict which I seen not to be very common order. Satisfied with the food and highly recommended if happen to be in the area.
It’s SO GOOD! Highly recommend, but it’s always busy! Check in earlier on yelp to avoid the huge line.
Great food but super crazy on weekends.
Amazing...by far the best breakfast experience especially in a big city. Food is so incredibly delicious. Napa omelette and blueberry pancakes, I honestly do not know how they make such delicious foods.
Really good food here and really nice cafe as well
We don’t live in the Chicago area but when we come here to visit and stay with family, this is a place we always hit up. A few years ago we were just adults but now we’ve got several infants and toddlers in tow, and in either season, Wildberry has always been a SUPER accommodating place to eat. I don’t know how they do it but the food comes out FAST and everything is always delicious. I’ve had a ton of different things on their menu and it’s all amazing. The skillets, Benedicts, omelettes, etc. are all savory and delicious and packed with veggies. The sweet stuff is just as good. Just when we thought there wasn’t anything to beat the Berry Bliss pancakes, we tried the cinnamon roll pancakes and WHOA!! A new favorite!! The Intelligentsia coffees are all amazing, too. We love Wildberry and cannot think of a more delicious and family friendly place to have brunch in the NW suburbs.
I absolutely love this place! This was the spot I picked for Mother’s Day because I heard so many great reviews about it. Make sure you try their signature Wildberry pancakes because they were amazing! Definitely make a reservation I did one online through OpenTable because there is a wait they are well known for their pancakes. Highly recommended I’m definitely gonna be returning!
Super handy location, brilliant staff, generous portions...a great find in Chicago. The pancakes are a must have! We will definitely be back for more pancakes!
Soooooo yummy!!! Didn't take long at all to get seated. From the time I ordered to when I actually got my food was not long by any means. Definitely recommend this place.
Went on a Monday for brunch and it was really busy. The wait time was 30-45 mins on this particular day. The food was great. Atmosphere was great as well. The staff was very friendly throughout our time there. Would definitely visit again in the future. I would recommend booking a table before you stop by so your wait time won't be too long. I didn't mind waiting, but the wait was worth it in the end.
Eat here. It's worth it. Best breakfast I've had in awhile. Go early. Long lines.
Quick service. Great service. Food is very good. Place is ran smoothly. :)
Great food Great Service
Delicious food. The menu had lots of variety. The portions are huge. My Omlet had to have 4 eggs and the side of hash browns was at least 1.5 potatoes. Can't wait to go back.
The food is absolutely delicious here! There is a wait during popular times, but it is definitely worth it. I love their signature berry bliss pancakes/waffles and their hashes, which taste amazing no matter which one you get.
Very delicious food. The service is good. But the wait is too long. I highly recommend this place but not during weekends.
Delicious, delicious food. Great customer service.
Very popular busy cafe with some great pancakes & crepes! We visited during the weekend of GOfest which might've added a bit to the wait but you should expect to wait for your table, annoying but happens. Once our 30 minute wait was over we got called in and seated, our server was very happy, friendly and helpful! Giving up lots of info whilst keeping tabs on a very busy cafe. The food itself was definitely worth the wait, between us we got pancakes and crepes which were both very enjoyable (I loved the crepe and would definitely come back again for it!) The only real issue I'd say was as the restaurant was busy they were obviously trying to keep people moving when they were finished (understandable given how many people are waiting) however someone started collecting our condiments including the syrup before we had even finished eating! Getting people out efficiently is important but let them finish their food! All in all it was a great breakfast and worth the wait.
I wanted to visit this place from a long time but was not able to make it because of the wait time. I waited for 45 min, must say it was worth the wait. It's a really nice brunch place. Good pancake , coffee, omelets. Must try place.
Quick and easy oh and fresh
Nice decor, today there was no wait and we were seated upon arrival. Great staff experience. Food was very good with the portion sizes out of control. Thinking my breakfast alone well exceeded 2500 calories. But wow was it good. Ended up eating maybe a third of the breakfast skillet and one of the two pancakes.
Great service. Food was out quickly(Wednesday morning) and tasted great. Tried the butchers block skillet with berry granola cakes and would get it again. Definitely more than I could eat but was still worth it.
Always down to come here for breakfast. FYI come a little early on the weekends or make reservations, this place gets busy! Signature Berry pancakes are my favorite! Friendly staff, great food!
Fantastic and exciting food to eat.
Great place. Great food. Good service. Give it a chance.
The food quality and taste never disappoint here. Pay the extra 2 bucks for cinnamon roll pancakes with your skillet/omelette. Trust me. Waits can get a little long but the hosts are accommodating and you can purchase coffee while you wait. My server smoothly handed me the hot sauce I was asking for before I was done asking for it, and without breaking eye contact. #shook
Delicious food and fun atmosphere! I felt welcomed during my visit to Chicago and loved the view of the park across the street. Pancakes with berries was divine (be conscious of HUGE portions) and the Strawberry/Mango smoothie was amazing! Thanks Justine.
Great place for breakfast. They have lots of unique menu options. I liked their granola berry pancakes. I like a lot of crunch with my food so this was a welcomed addition to pancakes. The Veggie omolete was also amazing. Definitely a place I'd like to go back to.
Pancake was fine but the service was awful. Our server never came back to check back with us whether the food is okay or not. Nor did he refill my coffee. And the coffee wasn’t good at all btw. The food was okay but the horrible service made my dining experience super disappointing. Wouldn’t go back again.
Best breakfast place ever! Could eat here every day.
Very good food, great service and about the same price as any good breakfast spot.
Delicious food Great staff Insanely huge Belgium waffle
Our server Danielle was really nice. The food is always very fresh and delicious.
Yummy location. Good social atmosphere. Great for families but a nice date spot too. Expect to spend a long time waiting during busy times. Pricey, but so good with large quantities. Got a meal platter with drinks for two, spent close to $45.
The wait for this place is insane. Thankfully, you can join the line up online through the Yelp app (this is a must). We joined from our hotel room and waited 2 hours to get a table at the restaurant but at least could do it from the comfort of our hotel and could walk around the city until it was our turn to be seated. The food was pretty good but I'm not sure it was actually worth the enormous wait time. If you're a huge pancake or crepe fan, I would say this is the place to go. They have a ton of options and I can see why they are famous for them. We tried the butcher block skillet, homemade biscuits and gravy and the banana coconut cream pie crepe. It was all pretty good.
Amazing breakfast spot. Pancakes are unbeatable and the coffee was delicious. Probably the best breakfast spot in Chicago! Our waiter Jeremy was friendly and very attentive; he made sure we had a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend!
The place is wonderful and roomy, the menu was delicious and the prices were very inexpensive. fast, efficient service and very amiable staff members. Recommended.
Very good menu choice, friendly staff and an efficient service. As it's so good, it's busy. Oh and the food is great !
Was visiting Chicago for a weekend trip from Minneapolis. Checked out the best local place for breakfast and found this. Had a wait of 1 hour on a Friday morning. I got a Florence Egg Benedict which was mostly bland spinach, unseasoned hollandaise and a bunch of fruits. Fresh juice was okay for 4$. My partner got Oreo pancakes which were 5 big pancakes that were much better. Seems like one of the overly hyped reviewed places. Would never go back. Have had much better breakfast everywhere else we have vacationed.
One of the best places I've been!
This place is the top rated place on Yelp among all restaurants in Chicago and hence we decided to check out what the hype was about. The wait itself is usually an hour or more on weekends and after patiently waiting we were starving and I must say the food didnt quite live upto the hype. The food is still amazing, not saying that it wasn't but I am not sure if it deserves the 1+ hour wait. To me the best things were the pancakes which were incredibly soft and sumptuous and the hash browns and skillets were great too. The ambience is nice but the place is crowded leading to longer wait times both outside the restaurant and from the servers inside.
love this restaurant i wish i lived closer
This place is insane and amazing. The food is absolutely wonderful and the coffee rocks too. The group got two sets of pancakes (chocolate banana and the cinnamon roll) both were so rich and decadent. The chicken and waffles were good but a touch dry. The berry bliss crepes were delightful. The portions are overwhelming. Could have split some of the meals if we weren't starving.
Food was good. Super large portions that were large enough to share
Amazing food and fast service! Only downfall is its too loud in the restaurant, I left with a headache. Maybe the design of the restaurant was a bad idea, everyone was yelling over each other.
Good breakfast spot but extremely long wait. Try Meli’s Cafe instead. It’s almost the exact same food and prices with a shorter wait time.
