REVIEWS OF Sunny Side Up & Coffee Shoppe IN Illinois

Love this cozy & quaint breakfast cafe. I picked this place on a whim & am so glad we didn't miss it before leaving town. We sat outside & enjoyed our meals. The croque madam with potatoes were delicious. Their drink menu has some interesting lattes like honey lavender & coconut-which you don't see often in other cafes. Friendly staff. They have a pastry & coffee shop downstairs if you want to grab on the go.

Sarah Davison

Husband had a skillet and absolutely loved it as did I the Benedict. Sitting outside was perfect. Owner Bryan was so friendly and was attentive to all guests.

Bailey Strohl

Worst brunch experience any of my friends or I have ever had. First, it took about 15 min for us to even get our coffees which, despite tasting like watered down chocolate milk, were rather overpriced. Then came the food (after another very long wait). Everything was crazy expensive, but one of my friends ordered what was listed as "buttermilk waffles." Exactly one plain waffle and a cup of syrup arrived. This would've been fine.. had the ONE waffle not been TWELVE DOLLARS. Not only was the menu misleading, but the one hellishly expensive waffle didn't even taste very good. The pancakes, however, tasted way worse. Bisquick tastes better than the pancakes we were served. Our table was never checked on, and we all left feeling swindled. I don't know if we just had some really bad luck or what, but this was truely the worst experience I've had at any restaurant ever. The food was not at all worth what we paid for it, and honestly, McDonald's coffee is better than what I had. I have so much buyer's regret over the meal I had here.

Charming old house converted to a breakfast lunch style restaurant. We found this place and loved it!! The place was full of customers, we did not wait long. Food was delicious, interesting and reasonably priced, coffee was bold and delicious, staff were friendly and service was exceptional! We were very entertained by how quickly staff ran up and down stairs to ensure good service as this is a 3 level eatery. Before we left for home we returned by unanimous decision for our last meal on this trip in Chicago! We will definitely return!

Great food, great service, and the owner was awesome and made us felt welcome! First time here with family. All the way from Kansas City.

JOHN EMMER

Great atmosphere, love the building and decor very nice. My wife had Pumpkin pecan pancakes, she really enjoyed them. I had southern benedict. A biscuit with sausage patty, poached egg and sausage gravy served with country potatoes. Biscuit was very dry just fell apart. Sausage not memorable, just sausage. It needed a little kick, maybe a spicier sausage. Complaint we were only customers at 8 am on second floor. 5 employees just stood by counter, cussing about their work schedules. Lots of "F" bombs.

Steve Snow

Great atmosphere. Food was very good.

Kaitlin Matthias

Great service and cozy atmosphere!

Meghan Ingram

Atmosphere was great. Food would have been great if it was warm.

Lucas Damrow

Found the place looking around for a breakfast place, luckily we found it, absolutely great food. The service was great, very friendly staff. Super cool location and atmosphere.

Jeff Love

My Wife and I love this place!!!! We come to Chicago from the South Suburbs a lot in the Cold months and love eating Breakfast here. The service is Fantastic... everyone is always smiling and is super friendly! The food is always great... we've eaten here many times and it's always great. This is Breakfast at it's Best!!! Looking forward to going back again!!!!!

Amanda Loraine Salter

Incredible!! The gravy with the biscuits and gravy is MAGICAL. Cozy and energetic staff. The fluffiest pancakes and scrambled eggs I've ever had in the loop. 10/10!!

michael george

I had the pleasure of stopping into sunny side up about two months ago while visiting Chicago. I came in for a cup of coffee and something to eat to help my hangover and ended up staying for 3 hours talking with Angie. She was awesome! so friendly and patient. Hanging out and watching her work with coworkers and interact with guest was amazing. One of the best parts of my trip to Chicago for sure!

w8lftr76

Sunny Side Up Baguette (eggs bendict with balsamic glaze and goat cheese)=best eggs benefict ever. Also, got a 1/2 order of lemon ricotta French toast because I couldn't make up my mind. That was the best French toast I have ever had.

Lawrence Motyka

Very pleasant place for breakfast in a summer morning in Chicago. Angie is the best! Tell her Mr. Marie sent you!

Mitzi Lawrence

Cute and delicious!

Denis Ryan

Excellent food and great service.

Todd Smith

Very good. Quaint atmosohere, good food, and good service. Enjoyed it but reserve my 5 stars for something exceptional.

P Springs

Cozy house-turned-restaurant setting. Sat us quickly, but other service was slow. Poor communication on meal description, but let's chalk that up to both sides. Maybe we asked the wrong question? More importantly, my wife's waffle was served cold - butter wouldn't even melt! And for $12, a single waffle seemed a little skimpy. My chilquiles was really good! I've had it with way to many chips, but this one had a great ratio and yummy flavor! They added a bunch of beans and rice to fill the plate, but I just ignored that part. Wife would give it a 2 and I would give it a 4, hence the 3. ;-)

Nick Haidet

Had the Mexican Eggs Benedict and it was really good. Service was also nice. The restaurant is in a converted house and was interesting looking.

Amber Rosalez

Cozy little breakfast and brunch place. The pancakes were amazing!

Phil Humber

A very good local spot. Perfect for a quite breakfast to relax with a friend or just gather your thoughts for the day. My wife and I enjoyed delicious breakfast. The old town character of this converted corner house is fun. It's quite and not rushed, but the service is still very attentive and they brought our food right away. No wasted time. Alejandra did a fine job waiting on us. Try it, you will like it. We've only been here once, and it was for breakfast. But we would definitely try it again.

Suzana Kedron

Super friendly staff!!!

Miekeala fehr

This place was amazing. I ordered the tuscan skillet not realizing it had egg. They fixed it and even apologized for my mistake

Brant Egertson

It was recommended by our hotel. It was alright. Crab Benedict was sub par. Cold and watery

Melo Pretty Pink

The food was so good there was no time for a pic. We all got The Chicago Way. The kids got a smaller version for $5 each. All of their meals come in kids size for $5 which is very considerate. The pancakes are awesome. Everything came to us fresh but it was so fast. I will visit here every time I am in Chicago from now on.

Sharyn Sobel

Cute historic mansion turned into breakfast/ lunch cafe. Always busy. Great food choices and excellent wait staff.

Seth Wiram

Good breakfast and great service. Nothing to complain about here. We were seated immediately and the food came out quickly.

John Terpin

Food was tasty and filling. Our server Mark was very good and the interior, aged, of the place was neat.

pokeprout lol

The food was very good, BUT they didn't debit the amount I wrote on the bill... They debited more. Going back there to explain the problem would cost me more than the difference, that's why I tried to call several times during the opening hours, no one answered. I was happy to find eventually a very good place to brunch, but if it's to be stolen, it doesn't worth it.

Steve Schreiber

This place was phenomenal!! It's a quaint little spot with a very friendly atmosphere, excellent service, and AMAZING food! The servings were plentiful in size. We had a hard time pushing away from the table!

paul terhune

great place with awesome diverse menu and superb staff. very cool 3 floor restaurant and stained glass windows.

Fran Allen

This is a great place to stop for breakfast! Large selection of breakfast dishes with plenty of food!! Servers are very attentive! Always a go to place when visiting Chicago!

Erin Ware

Amazing, friendly service. Great waiters and awesome staff. Food was so delicious and the portion sizes were good. I definitely recommend coming here. Friendliest people in town!

Bethany Claxton

The food was great, the staff super friendly, and the atmosphere laid back. Portions were large and prices very reasonable. We really enjoyed ourselves and will return on our next visit to Chicago.

This was the weirdest dining experience I’ve ever had. The food was fine, not worth the $17 I paid for salmon Benedict, but overall it tasted just fine. Our waiter served us quickly, but stopped partly through taking another tables order to snap at the owner who was standing near by for not buying enough mugs... the owner was apologizing (actually complaining) at another table for them not having received coffee yet. So that was a weird experience to begin with... then it got worse. The owner stood by the table next to us (apparently he knew the people dining) and talked, more like yelled, to them for the entire duration of our meal. I couldn’t even hear my own conversation because the owner was being incredibly loud. He also took bites off the diners plate while standing up and using a knife.... not just one, but multiple. It was insanely uncomfortable to see, and definitely not great behavior. I get that you’re friends with this person, but why couldn’t you let them (and the rest of us) dine in peace and continue your conversation later? The whole experience was bizarre. The waiter snapping at the owner seemed insubordinate, until I witnessed the owners behavior (complaining about employees to customers, talking so loudly, etc) and realized how hard it must be to work there. 2 stars because people were nice and service was fine, but won’t be back.

Marsha Stamps-White

This was my third time going! I ordered STUFFED French Toast which was stuffed with apples and Maple ham with potato wedges on the side. It was delicious! My 3 guests ordered sweet potato waffles with eggs and spinach and potato waffles on the side! Also delicious! We will go back again!

Maribel Gonzalez

Nice, small restaurant with friendly staff. Party of 5 arrived around 1:30 on a Saturday and service was fast. The potatoes are well seasoned, very yummy! Vegetarian options for my vegetarian friend. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Erna Maria Thrastardottir

Amazing place, so cosy and the staff is just so nice

Oscar Ortiz

Service is great Food feels like grandma is in the kitchen! My favorite is the Mexican breakfast plate.

Wayne Batchelder

I enjoyed a midmorning breakfast omelet. It was delicious, the coffee was great, our server was prompt and friendly. The owner was there greeting customers, making us all feel welcome. What a great place for a quick bite in a busy day. GREAT food and a real "feel good".

Craig Bliss

Great breakfast spot with a coffee shop downstairs! I am currently on vacation and wanted a unique breakfast spot and that’s exactly what I got here!

Jennifer Parks

Good service, good food.

Leo Rodriguez

Great food. Great staff. Cozy setting. Definitely try the Mayan Hot Chocolate if it's in season.

Andrew

Love the little place atmosphere. The food here was fantastic and so was the service. Will come back next time I'm in Chicago.

suraj goyal

I saw some great reviews and decided to give this place a try for breakfast. I got the sunny side up baguette which I didn't like because of the sauce. It was just too overpoweringly tangy. Mexican hot chocolate on the other hand was nothing short of amazing. May be that was an off experience. The owner didn't even bother to greet me although he seemed to be greeting the other customers.

Bill Baker

Perfect for that much needed breakfast.

David Parker

This place was recommended and we loved the atmosphere of the old home, but that all cleaned when we got out food. Eggs Benedict were very over cooked and lacking flavor. The hollandaise sauce looked cooked like it we either in the oven or set under the heat lamp for a long time. They did replace our order and it was better but just wasn't very good over all. Plus once you wait for a long time for food and it isn't good it pretty much ruins your meal. However the waffles covered with fruit looked appetizing.

Ashley Deyo

Delicious food and specialty coffees in a super cute atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Jason Williams

Great breakfast, everything tasted very fresh with top notch ingredients. Great wait staff as well, highly recommend.

Scott Bradley

Absolutely Fantastic food. Great service. One of the best best breakfast places in Chicago

Owen Meyer

Excellent service with good portions of the best breakfast I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend

David Holland

I think Sunny Side Up is a great name for this place not just because of the food but because the wait staff and owner are always so friendly and positive. I have been going to this place for breakfast on Sunday for many years now. I order the biscuits and gravy for an appetizer and then pick my breakfast. The place just has a great neighborhood feel to it with its dark wood floors and multi story seating, its almost like you are visiting bed and breakfast. From years of service the very few times I have had any issues (sometimes I'm a picky eater) the staff corrected it right away and were very fair about resolving the issue. I recommend you not only visit, but make it a habit.

Jessica Hill

Good food, big portions, decent price, delicious.

Omar Abu Omar

Had the egg white omelette (a salmon and veggies omelette basically) and it was good. The place was very quiet when I visited (Late morning on a weekday). Waiters are friendly and the order came quickly.

Maureen Schmidt

Best homemade soup in town. Great special small soup and 1/2 sandwich or salad. Or you can order a hearty size bowl of soup. Check it out. Site on Oak and Dearborn has outside seating available. Check it out.

Shrawani Pampatwar

Loved their service, food and the ambience. It gives such a cute and a traditional feel to the restaurant. The waitress was super sweet although I forgot her name! Would definitely recommend this place !! Love it . ♥️

Beth Puch

Great place for breakfast. Ask about the history of the house. Cool place.

Margaret Larkin

This review is for both the restaurant and cafe since they don't separate them on maps. I guess I'm in the minority because I wasn't impressed with either. I had the worst French toast ever. It tasted like the oil that people use to fry stuff on the griddle, like some kind of vegetable or seed oil or other kind of oil that the bread soaked up. I did what I usually don't do: sent it back, it was that bad. I got some other mediocre dish that I can't remember. The cafe claims it's a bakery, so another day I decided to get a doughnut. It also tasted awful, like the kind you get at a grocery store in a plastic container set. Cheap ingredients that I doubt they used to actually bake anything. On top of that, it's dim inside and the person working there didn't really comprehend English. There was a radio blasting an obnoxious show, hardly the relaxing vibe you find in other cafes. I would only go back if someone was visiting and wanted to go there. But I'll stick with other places in town.

Denise Negrea

Quaint brunch spot with a very good selection of brunch items. Both my boyfriend and I enjoyed the food. Giving 4 starts because the coffee is very bad. I don't know what was going on with that coffee but I'm surprised this place has coffee in the name with coffee that tastes like it came from a 7-11. I liked the food but I don't think I will return if I am hoping to have coffee with my meal.

Stacy K

Excellent food and decor. Very friendly staff and unique menu items. Fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. The stuffed french toast was out of this world. The building was way cool.

Goh Chin

Located in Chicago downtown, not easy to find parking. Special dishes served but taste just ok. Service is good.

Maria Daniel

I walked in by accident because it was freezing and I couldn't find the place I was looking for! I'm so glad I found this place! The corned beef hash was delicious! The service was great and the coffee sooo good. I sat by this beautiful window with stained glass panels and I nice view of the street below. Loved it!!

Kelsey Callahan

Honest to goodness delicious stuffed french toast. I really enjoyed the flavors. But the prices were a bit steep and I wasnt able to upgrade a combo to have just one with more protein. Whatever. It was good and worth it.

Ryan MM

It was amazing! I highly recommend the eggs Benedict...any of them!

Lizzie Nielsen

Food was excellent we sat outside on the patio and it was nice and quaint. The only issue I had was with the owner (I'm assuming that's who he was) who was standing at the door seating... Anyways he was yelling at the servers throughout the whole meal about incorrect table numbers or where is this food going etc. He also took his phone calls right in front of the restaurant for all to hear just a little unprofessional otherwise no complaints!

Charles Manter

Everbody is right, it is nice and homey. The food is pretty decent if not a little untraditional for some of their menu items. What was weird was i was told they were out of an ingredient and then while eating another thing that was alright my wife and i saw a guy that came in after us get served the exact menu item i was told they didnt have.

Amanda Boyd

Angie our server was amazing. Great food and coffee.

M Fang

A cute converted home with a decent brunch. We arrived around 9 am on a Sunday and was seated immediately, despite the crowd. The service was prompted and friendly. The food was good. One less star because the coffee is just okay and for a place like this I expect better.

Joseph

Had breakfast here two days in a row. We’re fussy when it comes to breakfast. This place hit the mark. Good hamoff the bone the lox and bagels were great two. It is diffenitly a go back place.

Ronn E.

Working in Chicago for a few weeks from California. Visited several times and always sat outside. Nice quaint patio. Come hungry because it's a plentiful breakfast. Service is a little slow, but worth the wait. Good coffee, good O.J., and incredible pancakes! (...and friendly management!)

Amy K

Food is spectacular!! Coffee was a little too strong for my liking but that's just me. Atmosphere is relaxing, quiet and staff is very nice.

Just Perusing

It's okay, the food is fair. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and I will admit it the portion was larger than I expected, but the taste was average. It comes with an abundance of fries, which were good while hot.

TN T

Absolutely Amazing. Hands down the best French toast I've ever eaten.

SUSHAE

Really good breakfast options, with outdoor seating, which is dog friendly

Preethi Raghupatruni

best stuffed french toast and chilaques in streeterville

Jacob Adams

I love this spot for its food and the space. The menu is huge and full of unique takes. It's three stories tall and homey inside. They have outdoor seating for the fresh air deprived. My girl and I go here almost every weekend. 5 visits, 10 plates, and not one bad decision.

Brandon Tucker

Two young ladies down stairs were so sweet and the cinnamon roll coffee is great!

wise 1

Good food good service!

Sara Roberts

Food was fine. It was rather hot and humid out the day we went and chose to eat inside because of it. Did not have AC on and doors open to outside. Would've been fine if it hadn't been almost 90 degrees out.

Jane Unger

We love our new favorite place to have breakfast in Chicago! There was a wait, but we were offered coffee and stood nearby under a tree with a great breeze. The owner, Brian doesn’t miss a thing! He made sure each person was updated and Happy. My husband listened to our sweet waitress, Violet and had Mexican Tortillas that were incredible, but way too much food. He found the incentive to finish because they were so good! I had a salmon hash that was actually his first choice. Wow! The flavor was delicious. Believe it or not, we went a second time and took our friends. This time we sat inside, which is absolutely cozy and yet cool on a summer day. The Eggs Benedict were beautiful and our friend made short work of them. My husband didn’t stray from the Mexican Tortillas, and I went for Stuffed French Toast. Oh my goodness it was decadent! Our other friend had regular French toast which he said was divine too. I can’t say enough of what a find Sunny Side Up was. Highly Recommend it!

VIRGIE WHITE

Awesome recommendation! Group of 10, no problem they sat us quickly and provided great service!

Dan Knutilla

We absolutely love Sunny Side Up! We moved away a year ago and on our trip back through Chicago we had to try it again. It’s still the best breakfast/brunch place in Chicago. The sunny side breakfast with eggs and biscuits and gravy is amazing. The salmon platter was also delicious. The server staff was very attentive and friendly. They keep your coffee full and drop off a big carafe of water so you never have to wait for a refill. When you walk in the front door the space is very warm and welcoming. During the week at 9 it was not busy but weekends were always packed. If you want a great dining experience definitely go here.

Maria Cwiklik

Great place for breakfast

Timothy Dulapa

Great menu. Great food. Great service. Go there. You will not be disappointed.

Ally Adventures

This place is amazing! Great outdoor patio and friendly service. The food is exquisite and reasonably priced. With the coffee shoppe attached it is the perfect breakfast/brunch destination.

Matt Korn

Fantastic! Quick, fresh and delicious

Janet Petersen

Food and service were GREAT!

Hannah Otto

We were visiting Chicago for a trip and stumbled across the Sunny Side up Cafe and so glad we did!! We ate here twice on our trip for breakfast. Great prices, Great food! Will for sure be coming back when we come back into town

Erik Janssens

Love this place. I always try to go hear when I'm staying in the city. Love the outdoor seating, but the indoor seating is just as charming. Portions are huge and prices are decent, especially for the area. People are nice there too. Highly recommended.

Nathaniel Lane

Eggcelent eggs bennidect.... and the stuffed French toast was delish.

Susan Auldridge

Quaint old house with Texas size portions that are delicious and excellent service!

CappaRed CappaCity

Waited forever for pretty basic food. It sounded unusual on the menu, but what came I could have made better at home for less money. Sat at the bar, and my server was perfectly pleasant, but I was near enough to the hostesses and other servers to hear they were extremely brusque bordering on rude to other customers. I won't be back.

Brian Corneliusen

Food was very good. Service needs to improve. Had to ask for silverware and napkins as well as my toast. Wait time was average.

Julia Kline

Decent diner food in a quaint 3-flat. It's always packed on weekends. Theres plenty of seating, but it's on 3 or 4 stories so if you aren't lucky you've got a bunch of stairs to climb to get your breakfast!

Briana Brown

Great service, good food, good everything! The eggs Benedict were the best I’ve ever had. Alejandra (Alex) was very attentive and made us feel very comfortable. Food 10/10 Aesthetic 10/10 Service 10/10 Patio 10/10

Dove Aris

I really enjoyed my food and service. Price is more than I usually pay for breakfast (teens) but the food was delicious and hearty. I ordered the Chicago way and you can’t go wrong with that. My server was on it! Wish I remembered his name. The environment is inviting and decor is charming.

Sherry Johnson

Super love this place. It's a must for us whenever we're downtown. The food is excellent, the staff amazing, the owner fun. What more could you want?

Jason Feldman

The food was ok. Nothing special. Good service.

Nicole Gignac

Loved the fresh orange juice. The avocado egg dish was so yummy (and a nice healthy option on the menu).

Yolanda Padin

So good! Big plate and tasty! If you are hungry come here. Bye.

Shawn Alston

Food was amazing

Dan Pauley

Everyone's breakfast looked great but dont order just plain French Toast. You get 2 pieces of French Toast and nothing else but a bill for $12.00. Way over priced considering the size of the meals everyone else had.

Marissa

Sunny side up is the cutest breakfast place in town! I tried the Lemon Delight Pancakes on their seasonal menu and it was super delicious. Greek skillet is amazing as well. Their hot chocolate really hits the spots.

Sean McGinn

Abundant amount of good food, good service!

Mariah Morris

The food was amazing! Service was good, coffee I wouldn't suggest. I tried 2 different coffee drinks and wasn't impressed.

Jeff Allen

Food was absolute delicious, and I'm saying that a year after my last visit! My daughter will be in Chicago for her annual American Girl store visit and we're already making plans for Sunny Side Up. I believe try as one might, there's very little negative to find here. Food, service, and cleanliness are all very good. Two thumbs up!

John Dwyer

Great food. Crowded and lively. Lot of stairs. Very quaint

Chad White

Ok this is a family owned restaurant. If you are freaked out by being seated on the third level, don't be cause the service is amazing and the food came fast even when they are packed. Food is amazing, love the classic eggs Benedict. I love finding little hidden spots like this one. I have to thank Oliver from the Omni for sending us to this place.

Miri Sleiman

So good. I had the smoked salmon and bagel. Delicious!

CASEY BAYE

The wait for our food was a little long nothing to be considered about but the manager on site was so polite and professional. He apologized and offered us a free coffee afterwards. The food was amazing and I would whole heartedly come here again!

Chef Saga

So I came here one morning and had the chilaquiles. Let me tell you no they were not the best ones in the world but they are very impressibe to be in an american breakfast place in the middle of Chicago. Being a Mexican Chef myself I get very picky when it comes to mexican food but they are doing a good job. Would love to consult them for them to be excelent but they do a good job! I went back there the next day to have the mexican benedicts they were also surprisingly good! Like I said there is so much they could adjust to be excelent but their attempt is a good one!!!

Andrea Molino

Their PB banana french toast is OUT OF THIS WORLD. The space is also really cool, interesting architecture and stained glass. Definitely a great brunch place in the neighborhood, and not crazy overpriced (compared to other restaurants in the vicinity...)

Mallory Werth

I was visiting Chicago on my bachelorette trip, and the kind barista gave me my drink for free to congratulate me on my upcoming wedding! It was a delicious iced coffee! Definitely recommend!

Brian Mudzinski

This place was great!! Was looking for a nice little breakfast spot while I visited and im glad we came. The food was awesome. The waiter was really really nice and the entire staff seemed really happy. And there was a lot of staff there! The building was really cool. 3 unexpected floors for dining and they were all really cool looking. Not sure if this was an old church or some ones house but either way, it was really nice! Wish I asked more about the history of the building. But not only is it a cool spot, the food was really good. I want to go back next time I'm in the area. Menu had a very wide variety of breakfast foods. From traditional breakfasts to Mexican style breakfasts. Highly recommended for the food and just to experience the building!!

Angelique Tyner

They took my fav cinnamon pancakes off the menu which totally bummed me out as it was the only reason I was even going there. But their food was still as good as ever and i loved my plain pancakes. My family all loved their food too.. Just wish my fav would be brought back.

Ken Larson

Amazing local hidden gem! Constantly rotating specials ensure there’s always something new and fun to try. Absolutely delicious.

Andrew Koehler

Huge portions of great breakfast food. Good service and outside seating. Always come back when we are in Chicago.

Josh Shields

Coffee Shoppe: Latte was very badly burnt, boiling hot milk and scalded espresso with no foam on top. Manager was complaining about scheduling employee shifts in a definite outside voice while I waited. Overall just a bad experience. Threw out my drink after a couple sips. Only saving grace was getting 2 drink holders so I at least didn't burn my hand. Can't speak for the breakfast at Sunny Side Up.

Maria T Montano

The place was cozy and comfortable, but I did note that several of the servers were not at all friendly, I smile or hello would have been nice.

Lauren Ziesig

The food is good and the atmosphere is nice when it's not busy. But it's very expensive and they really rush you out during peak times in a way that feels rude.

Jeff Buckley

Steak eggs Benedict was great

Mike Murphy

great corned beef hash!

Megan Macareno

Awesome breakfast spot recommended by our door man at the Eurostar’s magnificent mile hotel

SangWoo Na

Menu with strawberries would be great choice for everyone.

David Dean

Great pancakes. Excellent service. Start the day off right.

Axel Blickle

Great spot for relaxed mid morning breakfast on a Wednesday. Good food, lots of choices, attentive service.

V A

Great breakfast spot located near mag mile shopping. Building is older and looks like it was a church before. There are three levels of dining as well as outdoor seating. Food is very good. Great place for breakfast before a day of shopping.

Viviane Bravi

Amazing place if you want a homey vibe and delicious food! 5 stars!

Kowana Goode-story

Service was terrible ......food was cold, and management had no service etiquette.

Steve Hammond

A pretty good breakfast place in an old house. Lots of choices for breakfast and the usual choices. Great service.

Norah Getz

Lovely atmosphere, great food + coffee, and some of the nicest waitstaff ive seen. Julia and Sam are wonderful servers!

Max Boehm

Great food. Love the outdoor eating area.

Cori Williams

Absolutely amazing! Try the Nutella Latte, sweet potato breakfast sandwich, French toast, breakfast potatoes... Incredible service from Julia and the whole staff. Love the atmosphere of the old house. 3 levels, elevator available. Stand alone coffee house on lower level. Highly recommend!

Malcolm Godwin

Food and atmosphere here was pretty good. The butter here is amazing honey butter on an English muffin or toast is great. The old house vibe is pretty cool. I did order the skillet with chicken and goat cheese and received a skillet mash that had neither so that was a bummer and by the time the server returned my stomach took control and had start eating something. Whatever skillet they did serve me it was good.

Max Sherrod

The service was not the problem at all. It was the food, I felt like I was eating food from a camp. I ordered a breakfast burrito and the eggs were like the powdered eggs you would get at a camp or somewhere cheap. But yet it was $13 for the most simple breakfast burrito. My gf got an omelette which was also very bland and basic. They need to lower their prices food doesn’t match the prices at all. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

Lynetta Karlson

Great breakfast in and old townhouse! Right off Red line! Had the Steak Benedict, perfectly done eggs! Am stuffed! Great coffee too!

mollie mcclure

Amazing!!! Best breakfast I’ve had out in a long time. Service was great also. I loved the stained glass windows and decor
