Nothing to complain about, but also not necessarily anything to write home about. The food was tasty, especially the bleu cheese fondue and the peanut butter pie. The wine list was not great. The concept is a little strange to me. It’s not marketed as a steak house, but the menu is skimpy on non steak options. If it’s not a steak place, I’d think they’d have at least a couple more non-steak options. If it is a steak place, I’d think they’d have a few more steak options. The three steaks we had were good, but overall, I would recommend Gibson’s right across the street instead because their menu is more well rounded in all respects, and 40% off on industry night never hurts.

I had the filet 10oz steak with a drink called summer thyme and their house sangria both drinks were good definitely creep up on you. Meat I ordered rare but came out medium well, was still pretty good. I had mashed potatoes on the side and those were perfect. Prices definitely up there and the location we were seated at was cold, either they had the air on or there was a draft coming in. Otherwise decoration was nice, place was well lit and parking was not an issue.

Your Customer service leaves a lot to be desired I arrived on Mother's Day with my.mom, the buffet was still up and I was not allowed to participate in the $59 per person Buffet We were forced to order dinner. We both observed people eating from the buffet. I was thoroughly disappointed and will not recommend this "Chop Shop" to anyone!

Came in on a Thursday evening for dinner. Had the signature pear cocktail, it was lovely. For a light dinner I had the crab cakes, a recommendation from another patron, and the broccolini. Coming to this restaurant for the first time, I didn't know what to expect. I figured like many celebrity restaurants, it would have lots of memorabilia and expensive yet average food. Thankfully, I was wrong about the food; it was incredible. I came with in a party of 5 to celebrate a birthday with a young Jordan fan and had a delightful experience. The friendly staff had great recommendations without being pushy or forward. The drink selection was excellent, appetizers appetizing, and the steaks were the best of the best. Like the player's signature move, Michael Jordan's is a slam dunk.

Fantastic experience. Came here for anniversary dinner and was not disappointed. Not too big, nice seating, and cool vibe. Ordered the garlic bread with bleu cheese fondue sauce to start which is one of our favorites from the downtown MJ steakhouse location. Ordered the steaksmanship series to share for entree. Amazing! 3 very nice cuts cooked to perfection with a great selection of salts and sauces to pair. Definitely a lot of food for 2 people, might be more comfortable to share as 4. Topped the night off with the famous 23 layer chocolate cake. Our server was fantastic, very personable and attentive. Will 100% be back.

I think they are still working the bugs out seeing as they are still fairly new. The fillet mignon was of good size but slightly under cooked to medium as I ordered mine and the service staff started out great but as time went on they started lacking. Because I love all things MJ (GOAT) I gave an extra star. In time am sure they will get better and then I might return.

If you are looking for average pricey food, this is a good option. There was nothing wrong with the meal (I had the ahi tuna), but the $34 entree did not come with a side. Drinks were fine, but again over $10 each. I guess that this is what I expected. I was not disappointed.

Was there for business meeting. About 40 of us. Food was good but service was awful. Waitress asked if I wanted more wine, came back to next table and gave it to someone there. Told her and she never brought more. Main course came. 1st veggies came 20 minutes later. Took almost 30 minutes for asparagus to get there, which is what I ordered. Still gave it a 3 for food.

If I had to mark an area of improvement, I’d say the server could have improved on her handling of questions/requests. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

My husband and I went last night and from the moment we walked in we felt unwelcomed...I ordered the Bone in ribeye medium the waiter then said it would be medium rare near the bone and is that okay then went on to draw a picture of the steak and attempted to explain why my steak would be cooked uneven. My husband ordered the lamb medium and it came out rare...we had an appetizer of calamari which was taken off because the lamb went back...it wasn't crowed but the service was very slow...our waiter was more so involved with the other guest. Our bill was 121.40 we left a 18.00 but will never go back.

I reserved a table to celebrate my brother birthday. the service was extremely bad, they brought my asparagus' out and they were cold. To top it off, they didn't give any complimentary bread or anything. We had to wait about 1hour and half for our food to come out. Our reservations for 4pm at the beginning of dinner. I will never visit Michael Jordan Oakbrook again... Service was terrible.

There for a dinner meeting. Great tech. Setup. Food was good. Only problem, you had to go out of the meeting room, walk through the bar area, out of the restaurant into a hallway to get to the restroom. Poor parking at front of restaurant only 3 handicapped spaces for the whole office building. The rest of the spaces were for valet parking which they charged $3.00 for. This is not a cheap place to eat, valet should be free. Will not be returning there for meetings.

I would recommend not getting a late reservation. With everything winding down, the service became a little lackluster, our server forgot to put in our appetizer, my steak was overcooked. We were also seated next to the kitchen. Other steaks at the table were cooked to order and the sides were very good. John Waynes Last Stand is a fantastic cocktail. Parking is not an issue late, but I would use the valet earlier in the evening.

To be fair, this is not a "1 star" restaurant, but the reviews for this place far exceed it's actual worth, and someone needs to tip the scales towards reality. It's an expensive restaurant because of name alone. The food at Longhorn Steakhouse is better, not to mention more affordable. I don't recommend this restaurant in the slightest, there's much better food, equivalent or superior wait staff, for far less money. Go somewhere else, don't buy into the name.

The restaurant overall is adequately formatted with the Michael Jordan theme. Good decor of MJ with his memorabilia, red black walls throughout, and pictures of MJ's historic moments. However, the food in my opinion, was overpriced for no apparent reason. Not kid or family friendly. Limited menus. Everything is ala cart. Great ambience for couples and singles with disposable income to flex out.

When I arrived the waiter asked if I'd like something to drink I stated water to start, it didn't come for 20 minutes. He then took my order where I ordered an actual drink, some young ladies that came in well after me ordered wine which came out right away. When my food came I still had no drink. Lastly, i provided my card to pay for my bill which was $41.00 when he brought back the receipt he'd charged me for someone else's meal totaling $59.00. He didn't apologize but stated he'd reverse it and apply the correct amount. When he brought the new bill although the amount was less $36.00 he'd again charged me for someone else's order, but told me it's fine because it's less than my actual order. Upset is an understatement!

So we’re a bunch of SLC fans who found ourselves in Michael Jordan’s restaurant when our original plans fell through. There was a weird vibe to the place when we first entered, no one in the waiting room or the bar, and very few tables populated. Almost like he opened this up in the 90s and hasn’t spent a cent on the decor ever since. It was very 90ish, too dark, too loud, too cold. Food was good though, the calamari featured regular sized suckers as well as mini iidako. The white fish with miso crust was fabulous, and the chop salad was very good. I’d recommend the white fish- clearly the best of the lot. For some reason, the chop salad contained 23 ingredients, and the chocolate cake contained 23 layers- I can’t imagine why. Freakin’ pushoff.

So I didn't even know the restaurant was here. But moving along.. I only came by for happy hour but for that short time the food was good. Mini steak burgers and bbq's chicken and spicey chicken was rather delicious. You also Have to try their garlic bread. Tasty! Parking is my only gripe at the moment, there is a parking garage around back. But in front is where most people would try to get. They have valet service I believe. The place is right across from the mall if you get to I88 you've gone to far as it's right before it. I'll have to come back and have some real food to give it a true assessment. But interior is nice and simple, clean lines. Good music, bar area has a few TVs. Also has a outdoor eating area. Phew haha.

Very disappointed. I've heard so many different reviews from others so I decided to take my husband yesterday for his birthday. Atmosphere was great and our server was so sweet but our food was tasteless. NO seasoning on the chicken and the potatoes were soupy like boxed potatoes. No salt or pepper on the table to doctor it up. We waited 30 minutes for our check..(it was not crowded).. my tab was 66.34.. I gave him a100.00 bill.. he only brought me back only 33.00.. no change. I was a frequent diner at this restaurant and would often come 2x a week for specifically the Wedged salad. I would even order takeout if dining in wasn't an option. I came last night with a group of 4 and when they served me the wedged salad, but something was off compared to the 20+ times I've had this meal. I asked if they changed their menu or portion sizes since I typically order this $11 salad as my entree while my husband orders the filet. It came on a plate with 1/4 the portion size compared to the large salad bowl it comes in. The waiter and another helper insisted that since I ordered this "chopped" that it made the salad look smaller. I told them that I've been coming here since opening night and always have ordered it the same way. I could understand if the restaurant changed their menu or would admit to their faults but they just keep telling me I was the incorrect one. They ended up taking it back and telling me that they made it a "double order" now for me but to remember that when ordering chopped, it would look like it did before. Even this "Double order" was still slim. I ate it with a smile on my face as it was still yummy, but was disappointed in my experience. OH - they were also out of their SUNDAY special before 6pm?

Great place with delicious food. For appetizer, Waugh Meatballs are must and I loved calamari. Lake Superior Whitefish is outstanding. Also do try their freashly made deserts!
