Very welcome on a cold and rainy morning. My smoked salmon, egg and cream cheese bagel special was tasty, but the bagel itself was far too soft...more like a Kaiser roll with a whole in the middle. Needs improvement! Coffee very good, as was my wife's gluten free breakfast. A tad pricey, but no surprise in downtown Chicago.

I love the drinks here and the ambiance is great. But I'm writing this review to urge @management to PLEASE do something about the fruit flies / gnats that crawl all over the bakery items. This isn't a one time issue or a problem in just one Goddess location. I grab coffee/juice from Goddess EVERY MORNING and the bugs are ALWAYS there. It's a huge bummer because 1) gross and 2) the baked goods look yummy! I just don't ever get them because of the bugs. Please do something. I first noticed this over a year ago. Other coffee shops don't have this problem.

I have seen this place quite a bit of times but never went inside. I finally did. My initial response as I walked it was wow, I like the vibe of this place. It's bustling with a lot of movement happening, people of all ages visited while I was there and it really has that "lift-me up" vibe which I like. If you are having a rough day, I think walking in here will pep you up. So thumbs up for the atmosphere. Though Goddess offers a variety of food options for breakfast, lunch and early dinner; we only stopped in for coffee since it was late afternoon. Sad to say that the coffee was just average, nothing special in terms of coffee flavor but their variety of options is awesome. I did not like the Vietnamese iced coffee I ordered because it's consistency was extremely thin and it felt like they made it with cold brew instead of French press as it is traditionally made. The Latte was okay - plain and simple. I didn't enjoy my iced coffee so I ordered a hot mocha and that was decent, comparatively. People around me where ordering so many bakery items and food, not going to lie but it looked really good. I think I would visit Goddess and the Baker again and try different menu items just to be sure before I make up my mind completely. The service is good and simple which I appreciate. I am going with a 4 because it really is that kind of place that will make your day better.

I got a matcha latte that had so little matcha powder is not legally considered a matcha latte. more like a oat milk glass with matcha sprinkles on top. BUT (yes caps) what i found more disappointing after being let down how my drink was made that I was willing to put it aside for the sake of not being that guy that can spends 7 dollars on a drink and complains, but when they told me "we got rid of straws" I blew up internally. Then barista proceeded to swirl my drink in his hand thinking maybe i wanted to use it to swirl the .0000001onz of matcha powder to look somewhat a shade of lavender green. I use straws, f*&( the turtles, you think not providing straws helps? people with disabilities need straws, what we don't need is single use plastic like the huge containers you use for your cakes, drinks, cookies, salad boxes. My impression is this is only a move to try to profit off environment friendly changes, you should maybe be a little more thoughtful and really do something productive about it. The idea that because people complained about one turtle and you guys decided to take away straws and not really make a positive change would not get past the rational customer waiting to be ticked off by lack of matcha powder. Try paper straws and maybe get rid of all that plastic you use that can be replaced by paper boxes of wraps. If that is really the logic behind not using straws, get rid of plastic. and make a matcha latte green again.

It was fantastic. My family and I had breakfast and it was great. Coffee is great. Loved the water dispenser that had sparkling water. Ordered a rainbow cake too. Mmm

J McCarthy

So they do not accept cash here. Good way to get rid off the poor people I guess, but what business do they have coming here, right Goddess? Not to mention you must be charging so much extra to cover your overhead to us. Stop saying it is for safety. It is just for your own convenience.

Attila Bordas

Absolutely loved it Great atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food. Sparkling water on tap The coffee was also very good Amazing

laperidot sky

Great clean good for you food.

Alfreda Hadley

Great desserts, salads and coffee. A must visit.

Serena Uible

Wow! What a place! I bought one piece of cake. It was delicious. Too many things to choose from. You must pay with a credit or debit card. No cash. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Fortunately I don't live in Chicago, so I'm not tempted to go back very often.

Kaity Olson

The golden glitter latte was amazing! The cookie looked so pretty I didn't want to eat it! Luckily, no glitter left overs in my teeth.

Meghan Camp Armstrong

Great service & great food. Lovely little place & very Insta worthy.

Ashley Jam

Loved this place! Everything we had was delicious

Kaleigh Gaffney

So overpriced. Paid $11 for an apple cider and a scone.

Allison Gladkowski

Great little bakery and coffee place. This place gets crazy busy, but once you try it, you will see why. The line moves fast and the staff is phenomenal! Friendly and helpful. There is limited seating, but most people take items to-go anyways. There is a fantastic menu with a lot of unique items that it will be hard to decide. I recommend the marichino cherry cold brew and one of the muffins. I will be back soon to try more food.

Stoli Chilev

Very clean environment and professional service. I had Mac and cheese and they were really good. Will be back for sure

Liv Kim

I liked their acai bowl

Cesar Gonzalez

Very tasty food for a decent price (around $10-$12 for a sandwich or salad, about $4-$5 for a prepared coffee) but the quality is really good (way better than Starbucks). Even better that their food is their customer service, really friendly people. The place gets really busy so sometimes it might be hard to seat if you go during the rush hour.

Stacey

The Chicken Gyro Greek salad had very dry chicken. The beets gave the salad more of a sweet taste. Adding Mediterranean olives for a savory taste would have been preferred. Portion was large. The blueberry cheese danish looked wonderful. The pastry was sticky on the base and crunchy hard on top. No flakiness at all. I will try other dishes if I visit again. Service was good.

Molly S

Everything is so brightly colored and fun. I got a slice of rainbow cake for a friend’s birthday. It was delicious. The cookie I got for myself was perfect and beautiful. I gotta stop back in.

Mary Anne Smith

I wish this was in Houston!! The food was amazing! Cold or hot drinks: matcha latte with strawberry purée and an apple butter oat milk latte. Breakfast tostadas that were sooo good! Steak burrito, protein bowl, and açaí bowl were all fabulous. Vegan options too. And then there is the bakery counter! Two words: rainbow cake! Super cute cut out cookies that any child or adult would love. Check the counter for day old or ‘messy’ items that are 50% off.

Tina Kotrych

Love this place for coffee meetings and happy hour! Cozy, everything tastes great!

Morgan Hartley

I thought the coffee was excellent, and my egg sandwich was rich and filling. Good place to take in the chicago vibes.

Gavin Johnstone

I didn't really enjoy the experience, and it was kind of small inside. Long lines at times, and the drinks aren't anything I would go out of my way for again, but cool to visit

Evy Cao

Love them so much! Everything is so good and they're very well known in the area. They however only take card, no cash

Lisa Kim

Get the salted caramel, you won't regret it! I also liked the double chocolate and the red velvet. I prefer the mini, this way you get to try more.

marty gonzalez

The menu selection was great, however as I so much more often see, for the sake of speedy service quality is lost. I ordered the Avocado toast with arugula salad. It was very tasty, however not completely done. The menu clearly stated "toasted sourdough bread". The bread was sourdough but barely toasted and soggy. I am perfectly willing to wait an extra few minutes to get the well made dish that I ordered. I will return but if I order the Avocado toast I will make sure to tell them to FULLY prepare my order before bringing it to my table.

Brandy Greco

What is there not to love about this place. I stop in every time I am in Chicago. The vibe, service, and coffee keep me coming back. Everyone is always nice and attentive, even when they're busy. The lemon loaf was delish too!

Malena Vareles

Great breakfast place. The omelet was delicious. Friendly service.

Arthur Mendonça

Great trendy looking place to grab a quick coffee bite. The croissants were delicious and they have a lot of coffee and tea options.

Anneiv Esqui

Passed by yesterday got my attention with aesthetics looks can be very deceiving.. Aesthetically place was cozy and well designed. Saw beautiful sweet treats and pastries which I had craving for that certain day.. Service wasn’t the best staff needs to pay more attention and actives listening to customer’s needs. It’s overrated pastry/coffee place the cupcakes are too much and too sweet for me almost $5 a piece and vegan cupcake was ok. Another inconvenient side of this shop is it’s cashless pay basis so no cash means no service. I don’t get it as I was to pay cash and got pointed to a sign “cashless” and i have to go in my backpack and get my card.. I’m not confident in recommending the place. Cupcakes have an after taste after keeping it in fridge overnight..

Gage Cook

Everything looked beautiful and amazing to eat. I think I might have ordered the only bad thing on the menu, the breakfast burrito was very bland and tasted mostly like a ton of egg crammed together. I don't think this is an accurate description of the place overall though.

Cailin Morrison

Cool atmosphere and so many delicious looking options. Usually quite busy, but luckily I got there in a lull! Love that they have a pour your own coffee and use your own container. Head the avocado toast and it was very well put together. Was very well seasoned and the bread was nice as well. Glad they don't skimp out on the topping. To many places do this, but you feel satisfied here! Definitely going to try their baked goods when I'm back!

Lisa W

Right across the street from our hotel we came here everyday. My bf loves their coffee. They also have fresh juice, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods. Their baked goods looked awesome! We got the breakfast sandwich every day. The one with ham and or bacon is good. Packed in the morning. Outdoor seating available, pretty cool hip place.

Karen Ann

Best - I just got to my hotel and I need food/ water/ coffee/ everything that I have done in a long while.

Eric Cheng

Bustling shop that can get pretty busy. Lots of great baked goods.

Devan Peplow

Fabulous menu with lots of healthy options, but they also have a wonderful array of desserts. Great atmosphere and energy!

B. Andrew James

Tasty food and friendly staff.

Kendra Brinkley

Oh what can I say about this place?! Words are cozy, enjoyable and friendly. We had passed by it the day before and tried to find it the next day; went to the one off La Salle but that was the wrong location, different vibe altogether. Finally found it off Wabash. It was worth the walk. If I lived here it would be a weekly go to.

Anand Muralidhar

Loved the avacado toast here. The staff are friendly and they serve really good latte! Overall it's a must visit place for a well deserved breakfast in the loop!

Jonny McCormick

Loved it here. The shop is lovely, the staff are helpful and friendly and the food and coffee js invredible. Great experience all round and somewhere that will for sure be on my list when I'm next in Chicago.

Mandie Rose Weinandt

Amazing little coffee shop with a creative coffee menu and good food options!

Brooke Franchuk

Lots of gluten free options, the avocado toast is amazing. Great lattes too

Elisa Krause

The baked goods were fantastic! Food was really good. Aesthetics of food and environment were great!

David Lane

They always have what I'm looking for!

Brian Bolton

They pack condiment containers inside the salad which I find quite unsanitary. There were also way too many flies and gnats flying around.

Shanelle Swith

A cute bakery that's known for its rainbow cake and drinks. It's in downtown Chicago so it was a quick walk there from our hotel. You order at the counter and take a tracker, and they will deliver it to your table. There's outdoor and indoor seating. I got the Vietnamese iced coffee and my friend got the black honey Japanese matcha latte. Both were very good and ~$5/6. The Vietnamese iced coffee has condensed milk and is very sweet. The caffeine kick isn't as strong as I'd like and there was a lot of ice, but I enjoyed it. I liked my friend's latte more - it's made with almond milk and was less sweet than mine but it was a good mix of the match and honey. We also split a matcha cupcake with strawberry frosting which was really good. The frosting was light and delicately-flavored and the cake was subtly flavored of matcha. It also had almond slivers baked into the body which added a nice contrast to the softness of the cake. There is water you can self-serve and I liked that it comes in room temp distilled, sparking, and cold distilled water. You put your plates away and throw away your own trash after you're done. There are gender neutral bathrooms that can accommodate a wheelchair. There is free WiFi. Overall a really cute bakery that also had breakfast/lunch options. I'd come here again for an afternoon tea or coffee plus dessert.

Bruce Cicone

Great place for breakfast. Delicious pastries. Very nice menu. Community tables are cramped....food worth it.

Joshua Milligan

I stopped by on a weekday around lunch time. It was busy but service was quick and my salad came out quickly. It was delicious. I didn't try any of the baked goods but they looked amazing!

Chad Knapp

Loved this place. Great food and presentation of drinks and food. So much fun!

Emily Short

This place has AMAZING coffee and I love it so much because even if you get a caramel iced coffee it's not overly sweet like you're going to get it other places and you could actually taste the different nuances in the coffees I would definitely go here again and recommend it to anyone that's visiting downtown Chicago. The only thing I didn't like so much was there cake pops because they are extremely sweet but some people like extremely sweet so maybe for someone else just not for me but I definitely will go back for the coffee.

Monica Stevens

I really wanted to like the rainbow cake. I didn't. It was flavorless and not moist. So disappointing.

Jenny Addison

Skip Goddess and the baker. You can find much better options for a quick bite downtown where you won't get taken in by trendy decor and will get your money's worth for food that tastes great and leaves you satisfied. Disappointed. Really, I'm kind of surprised at how blah the food preparation is here. Even for downtown, this place is expensive. Portions are very small. 8 oz coffee $4.99. Mac and cheese was $10.99, came in a large dish. But was a single layer of noodles. I asked if this was the regular portion, and the server said yes. She suggested the kid's menu, which she said was "less food but 2 dollars cheaper." Less food?! This portion was barely enough to fill my 5 year old. Golden milk latte was not golden, but super sweet. Would not recommend this drink, it's just sweet almond milk. Don't think they put any tumeric or pepper in it. Maybe it's a cheap version made with syrup flavor? The hot chocolate was also bland, with barely any cocoa. Other issues: no napkins to be had anywhere. No flow at the counter, clogged and chaotic and hard to hear cashiers over the loud music. Grabbed some spoons from the counter canister and they were dirty. Some orange caked on food. So gross! I told the staff and they just nodded their heads, but did not seem concerned. Blech!

Hussein Saab

Amazing food and pastries. Coffee was off the hook too. Only concern was they don't accept cash which prevents certain members of society from ever dining there, I would of gave a 4.5 but service was excellent along with food so ill round up.

Tiffany Kibble

Love the Mayan mocha; it's my go to drink that never fails me!! Service is pretty quick even when it gets busy.

Rebecca Jackson

I’m in love with this place. Stopped in on my way to tour SAIC. Excellent food, coffee and service. I wish we had one in Austin.

Tiffany Despain

**Tourist Alert** STOP HERE!!! Tucked away amongst the great pizzerias sits this incredible little cafe that is the perfect stop for an all day breakfast, lunch, quick bite or delectable dessert. The coffee is a MUST TRY as well as the famous rainbow cake. As an added bonus they serve gluten free bread and their Mac n cheese is some of the best I’ve had. Don’t miss out on this place!

Liz Chafik

That rainbow cake. Best rainbow cake I have ever eaten. Probably the best cake I have ever eaten. Get that rainbow cake.

Edward Martinez

Amazing place. Great coffee. Atmosphere was amazing. I went there with my friend for coffee. We spend a great time.

Mikayla Smith

Absolutely has the best French toast in the city hands down!! Super friendly and never a long wait. People mostly get stuff to go because the are only two small tables here lol.

SAITAH ALAJMI

Omelette eggs are an unreal and i don’t even like eggs ❤️ staff is amazing during prime times(Sun breakfast at 9am)! Def coming back

Helen Dawson

My sister and I were looking for a nice place to grab a cup of coffee and a snack, and decided to give this place a try. Immediately we were disappointed. The first person we saw was a worker behind the counter, a guy wearing a black hat and glasses. He had a very unfriendly energy about him and did not acknowledge our presence when we tried to order. The first face your customers see when they walk in is the image of your business as a whole that you are presenting to the public, and this one was unfriendly and, dare I say, pretentious and judgmental. I stood there trying to get his attention for a solid 30 seconds so I could ask if we order from him (as he was the only worker in sight) and he looked right at my sister and I and then turned and walked away. We managed to place our order with a blonde older woman, who was nice enough. Then when it came time to find our seat we took a smaller two person table. My seat was up against a machine giving off way too much heat to be comfortable, and my chair was in a puddle of water. Lastly, the music was played way too loud to be able to talk comfortably over a cup of coffee, and the type of music made it sound like I was in a nightclub. Overall we had a terrible experience.

Michael Monday

Great coffee. Peaceful place. Greta atmosphere.

Theresa Rodriguez

Amazing food and coffee and efficient service.

Alivia

Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere, if you can find a table. We ordered coffee, sandwiches and had their famous rainbow cake. Was not disappointed!

Glenn Schlottman

It is a cool, well laid out, cafe. I stopped in to grab an Americano, a quick bit, and get some work done. It was perfect! Great coffee and the granola bar was good. The seating was ideal for working solo or meeting up with other. Great spot.

Ruth Bailey

Originally went to this cute little restaurant for breakfast because of their menu options which I found on their website. Ended up enjoying my breakfast so much, I went back for lunch :) Even though space is tight inside, no one seemed bothered by me having a stroller and infant in tow. As a bonus, they even have a small selection of vegan baked goods!

Jordan Clayborne

I’d recommend this place for good coffee and vibes. I had an ice vanilla latte, almond cake and chocolate chip cookie. They were excellent. Definitely not your place to study or get work done but I don’t think they market themselves as such. Pros: Quick service Great coffee Great sweets Cute interior Nice staff Cons: The train makes it very hard to have a convo outside It’s hard to get seating Also loud indoors

Britfan06

Guys seriously...This place us fantastic! Everything from great coffee, to great pastries, and wonderful looking food. I wanted everything I saw.

Nathan Ho

I love the breakfast croissant here!

Girish Dhameja

Good food. I tried their morning sandwich and the rainbow cake. The s/w was good and the cake was fresh. I took a star away for the service - they can do much better with the service. I got the food but no silverware. Got the coffee but no sugar. I had the cappuccino - it could have been stronger.

Nate Thompson

Not bad. Cake was a little sweet for my taste. Coffee was a little weak for my taste. Other than that, place is clean, menu looks awesome. Staff was super friendly and quick to deliver food and drinks.

Gabriela Nubling

This is one of my favorite coffee spots in town. They have great coffee selection and the service is always outstanding. I love their cupcakes, always fresh. Just wish there was more options. A little bit pricey. Expect to pay over $10 for a coffee and a cupcake.

Alison Millen

Visited per recommendation from a friend. Definitely will be visiting next time I'm in Chicago! The GF chocolate chip cookie was delicious. The coffee was amazing!

Dakota Rhine

Loved the food and coffee. We had to wait a long time for both but they did their best and were very busy.

Jenny Coleman

Amazing gem in Chicago with great breakfast and lunch options, as well as great coffee.

Husaini Syed

Awesome desserts and cappuccino. Good selection of salads, sandwiches etc. Trendy, hip place for lunch or dessert. Friendly staff, clean facility!

Peter Pranata

Very cute and creative cafe with lots of drink and food options. They have several specialty coffees and I got the Vietnamese Cold Brew, which was great; not too sweet like a regular vietnamese coffee! Their rainbow cake was pretty good too! I love the decor around it and would definitely come back to try out their other menu items!

Christopher Chang

Very good food options and the quality was excellent. I would come here every day if I could! The prices were also reasonable and the staff was super friendly.

Amelia Rose

Just steps from the Palmer House Hotel. Loved the atmosphere. Beautiful baked goods. Wonderful customer service. I had breakfast that was delivered to the table in good time and with beautiful presentation. I also got some pastries to go. Great service and amazing food. Considering moving to Chicago so I can have breakfast here every day.

Harry Holmes

Pastries were the best!!!! Cheesecake was amazing but when I asked about drinks she just pointed to the menu board. Service could've been more helpful.

Gal Christenson

First recommendation I received in Chicago that wasn't deep dish! I love this place. You can tell the food is made with love. The carrot cake made me black out from pure joy!

Evgeny Vostretsov

The tastiest bakery in the Loop. One on the best carrot cakes I ever tried

matthew han

Pretty nice bakery/cafe. Got a matcha almond honey latte (I think), was pretty tasty although kinda pricey. Aesthetic interior, good drinks, yummy pastries, go here instead of Starbucks.

Taylor Belmer

The atmosphere is definitely “Instagram worthy.” The food was also great!

St. Rebel

I had the morning breakfast sandwich. It was one of the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time. Everyone that works there was helpful and friendly. It is a very busy bakery with many choices.

Amanda Rafayelyan

To start, I will say that I'm glad I came to check out and try GATB. It is absolutely beautiful inside & the concept is great. The food portions are at least generous, (maybe even a little too generous with the arugula on the avocado toast) but the presentation is very appealing and so was the taste for the most part. I didn't like my plain black coffee, was much too weak. My order had an iced cold brew which was better and at least drinkable, not the best, but would order again if I am to return. As far as service they were quick, our server was sweet & kind, but the girl at the register kept asking "is that it?", after each individual thing I said. Which maybe that's just how she gets through a large volume of customers, but it was a bit of a turn off as far as service. We also sat outside on the inviting outdoor patio but it is very loud sitting outside when a train roars through, talking will become shouting, something to keep in mind for seating choice.

Hippie Dave

Stopped here for breakfast on Sunday morning. Ordered the tostada. This is what we got... those are raw egg whites and liquid yolks. Disgusting. Reading reviews from the last few weeks I see we're not the only ones (ie, Marty's soggy "toasted" sourdough). They claim they are "cashless" so that they can hone their excellence... If this is excellent, I'd hate to suffer an off day here. Worst way to end an otherwise wonderful trip to Chicago.

Amie Dawe

Omg the red velvet cake is delish! Loved it!

Yathu Karunailingam

The Rainbow cake is a must, it was really good! But we had a bad experience with this place, we ordered 2 rainbow cakes and 1 large and 1 small capachino. We got the cake fast, but then we did not receive our drinks. So after 15 minutes of waiting, we went to ask for the caps and they said it is being worked on. Then a waiter came to us to with the drinks after 5 minutes and gave us 2 small caps and lied that it only came in one size. We showed him the board and the bill and he said he will go check. Couple minutes later he came back with one large and one small cap. Then another women came to us with 2 other rainbow cakes, we told her we already had ours and she gave us a terrible attitude. Advice for management: - tell you employees to not lie and to be honest. If the waiter was honest you would be getting a 4 star from me. - work with your team to help improve their attitudes.

Nasheed Hossain

Great coffee and food. Cool vibe to the place. Awesome baked goods!

richard kalu

Great little inconspicuous place but definitely not too be outshined. The foods, coffees and custom drinks were amazing! The price is very decent. The staff is great. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.

Buff Swan

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and caffeinated coffee. We'll be back for sure!

Jill O'Sullivan

Super cute. SUPER busy. CASHLESS. There was no indoor seating at all when I was here, so I had to take it to-go even though I would have loved to stay. They have a wide variety of baked goods from sugar cookies to their classic rainbow cake. They have all sorts of allergy/dietary substitutions and even cbd. I went with a black honey almond matcha latte and it was absolutely delicious. I'd go back in an instant, but maybe at a less chaotic time.

Saad AlQahtani

One of the best for breakfast, I like the avocado toast, egg, and Vietnamese coffee

Lukas Gordon

Came in here to grab a hot drink from the cold. Hot chocolate here is called liquid chocolate, and it's a hefty 5 dollars for an extemely small cup of the drink that's half whipped cream anyway. Perfectly tasty but not worth it given the price.

Wendy Roberts

Upbeat place with espresso drinks and delicious baked goods!

Ricardo van Dijk

Great café with few interesting sandwich and salad options! The grilled salmon kale ceasar was huge and very delicious. The matcha and chocolate chip bread was also pretty good! Music could be a little quieter to make the environment more welcoming.

Stefan Micic

Loved the iced drinks but the lattes were not very warm. The small almond cookies were delicious.

Peggy Brinkmann

Goddess and the Baker was a really great spot to grab a quick breakfast. All of the items that we got were fresh and very tasty, no corners cut when it comes to quality.

rvagourmet

Loved the interior design. The breakfast and lunch menu is full of avocado! I loved the coffee selections including the Vietnamese Cold Brew. I was a little upset that the soup listed was not correct. Lovely bread cake and dessert case and really cute pins! I enjoyed my Mac and Cheese as well.

Denise S

Went to the bakery to look around. I love bakeries!! I bought a cupcake for my mom. She loved it!

Megan Wilcox

Great place for breakfast or for lunch!

Mr Todd

Great food, really enjoy the chicken bahn mi and the chicken club. Coffee is from metric and also very good.

Bo Brickle

Great coffee and a supper fun environment!

Nick Rodd

First vegan cake, was delicious! Coffee was ok not going to rave about it! Comfortable seating and good atmosphere!

Neil Patel

Apple butter oat milk drink was pricy but super good

Melody Haralson

The atmosphere is great. It has cutesy vibe to the decor and is easy to relax in a chair and just eat. The rainbow cake slice is moist and sweet while the pepper and egg sandwich is good, too.

Kimberly Nichols

Amazing sipping chocolate and pastries!

Holly Gomes

Yummy and hip. Nice place for coffee and a sweet! I was visiting Chicago from Los Angeles and ended up here. Definitely check it out on a visit! Quick stop! In the heart of everything.

lumina dsouza

breakfast or coffee place near to chicago riverwalk. They have delicious cake for kids.

Eli Rodriguez

The place is really nice, everything looks delicious, customer service is great! I tried the rainbow cake, which -in my own opinion- was very plain and the frosting way too sweet. I also tried the carrot cake, it was delicious and moist. I tried the Mayan mocha, It was SO GOOD! Perfect balance of sweetness and spiciness. Would definitely visit again for more of that coffee if I’m ever in town!

Patricia G Rhine

generous portions and delicious food! we went for breakfast one sunday morning and it was packed! the service was good, they messed up my order but fixed it immediately. our coffee was also late but they gave us two coffee cards to use on our next order to make up for it. despite all the mishaps, we enjoyed our breakfast and that’s what matters! we will be back.

Allison Schott

The worker at the register was able to awnser most of my questions on the menu. I ordered the glitter gold latte, it was very pretty to take a picture of, but it didnt taste good. My mom's apple butter oat latte tasted much better, but it did have a gritty texture at the end of apple peelings and cinnamon twigs. I got 2 chocolate truffles, peach and chocolate covered strawberry and they were both good. I also got 1 mango macaroon, which was also good. My mom got the almond croissant and she was very happy with it.

Jeremy Cullins

This place is really great for baked goods and coffee. My wife really enjoys their lattes and my daughter got a "glitter latte" and loved it. Not a spot I would typically go to, but it's a pretty neat place and their hot chocolates were also good.

Daniel Bartlett

Had the açai bowl and was surprised at how delicious it was. Pleasant staff to boot.

Richard Dominguez

I'm coming back for the Mayan Chocolate Coffee drink tomorrow, but my Vietnamese salad was quite excellent.

Lex Pachi

Delicious each and every time. This time I tried the pecan pie and it was way better than I expected. I'm not a fan of pecan but this tasted great! I also tried the carrot cake and red velvet cupcake and they were both great as well!!! Love it here

Mauro F Cardoso Lins

Cool place, healthy options. Not very spacious. You get your order at the counter and find a table. No servers. Delicious food. Great location, close the the Art Institute and many other attractions.

Alyssa Farver

Super cute cafe & bakery, with more than just the standard coffee drinks.

Fun designs on their sweets and a huge selection! But their staff seem uncoordinated. The cashier gave us a bag which the woman giving us our sweets then needed from us; and the cashier forgot to add on multiple items which we then had to pay for separately, twice. So 3 total purchases. Some of the cookies (like the chocolate chip) are rock hard and tasteless while some (the funfetti) are soft and yummy. The cake was very moist and fluffy but lacked flavor, which I kind of liked because it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet.

An awesome place for breakfast and dessert. LOVE

It’s a super cute place with a good atmosphere and nice staff. The outside seating is nice in the right weather. The drinks are good and they typically give you a fun little mini muffin or treat with them if you’re eating for there. But it’s very pricey. A small iced chai was $6, and it was pretty small. And I once went in and bought a macaron and a cookie and paid $10. They were good and both the food and drinks were gorgeous to look at, but not worth the outstanding price. I tend to choose other cafes in the area.

I loved. You should try the rainbow cake ❤️

The wildflower honey latte is overly sweet but delightful. The avocado toast is the stuff dreams are made of. Good atmosphere and fast service.

Rainbow cake looks awesome but tastes like any other cake to me ...

This place should have higher ratings. The ambience and sunlight creeping through the door make it such a nice place to eat. I got the Italian nut cookie, which has no flour in it so it's good for people with a gluten sensitivity, chewy but just the right amount 4/5 . The chocolate chip cookie 4/5 give this place a shot !

Rocky IsMe

Great large pastry selection but there are always flies in the display case. That makes me sad.

Delicious drinks and sandwiches walking distance to Millenium Park.

This coffee was heaven ❤️

I loved their food! I had a pepper and egg sandwich. The decorations are very nice and the staff friendly and quick with our orders. I would love to come back and try more stuff!

I love this place! I always get the strawberry matcha. It never disappoints! Very cute cafe. I hear the food is very good. It gets very busy so I’m always in and out.

Walking down the river and saw the great sign from outside. Decided to pop in the cuppa. Great atmosphere, beautiful decor and crazy massive cake slices.

This is the place for excellent food, drinks, coffee, and more! Everything I have ever had here has always been excellent and staff always are lovely and care about all their customers. The atmosphere is great and really cute and always has good vibes. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!

Delicious food, but the flavoring the coffee was not what I had expected. Very beautiful atmosphere and location.

Anik Grenier

Great food and service! It is important to know that although you can eat outside, it can be fairly noisy with the L passing right over.

Sam Lingle

Not very friendly staff. Long wait for latte.. pastry was delicious!

Deanna Dement Myers

Coffee here will knock you off ur feet it is strong and they have so many delicious goodies that make a great match. They are a CASHLESS BUSINESS thou so have ur card in hand! It's also a little crowded.

Jered Ewing

Great coffee and breakfast options that are healthy and not greasy!

kara bellissimo

Huge selection of sweets, my cupcake was out of this world!!! Cute seating inside and outside. Must visit when in Chicago!

Rafael B

I enjoyed the coffee and the baked goods I had were amazing. But there was a very potent, funky smell which made the whole experience uncomfortable.

Sudha

Great location, yummy breakfast options. Even a basic avocado toast is elevated in flavour! Must try. It’s a bit pricey but totally worth it for the quality of food and beverages they serve.
