I wish there was an option for no stars as this was an awful experience. Waitress was rude, and clearly appeared irritated when I informed her there was a bug in my water. She said oh I’ll get more and I said no thank you. Two minutes later a gentleman slammed water on my table stating here is your water. I should have followed my first mind to exit however, because I live in the building I wanted to give it a try in the event I could dine there out of convenience. Unfortunately, that will never happen. Here’s why: My food arrived and the rude waitress asked if I wanted anything else. Well I asked for skim milk and received whole milk however, based on her response to the bug in my water I made no effort to exchange for skim milk. Finally, I asked for butter and syrup for my pancakes. I received butter and syrup which I promptly put on my pancakes. Noting a strange taste, I realized the waitress had given me a bottle of sugar free syrup. When I asked if they had regular syrup she seemed quite confused. At this point it was strike 3, I asked for the check, paid it quickly and decided never to grace the doors of Eggs Inc. ever again even though I can roll out of bed and be there in 2 minutes. What a waste of time and money since I departed and left my entire meal uneaten on the table.

Great breakfast place with a huge selection of sweet and savoury dishes. The portions quite big so do not order a lot of things in one go, you might not be able to eat it all. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

No doubt the cheese omelette was absolutely fantastic!! The only reason why I can't give it five stars is because the young man wearing the glasses at the time I was there at 7:35a seems how can I say this, aloof and not engaged. He needs to make a better effort at being more upbeat.

Great sized portions (big), pancakes were tasty, omelette perfection, and hash browns very hearty. Not busy at all on a Saturday at 1pm. Servers were quick and polite. Nice spot in a building with other stores for convenient errand day meal. We will be returning again soon!

Was not impressed. Our server was very rude. We had sat down for over 10min and she never brought us water and when we asked she said a guy was going to bring us some then she proceeded to drink her coffee and play on her phone. She never refilled our coffee. My husband got the philly it was terrible and one of the kids got the Hollywood omelet it to was terrible and we told the server and she got snoty with us. The only good thing about this restaurant is the fact that the food didn't take long just wish it was better and the staff. We will definitely not come back to this restaurant.

I decided to have the Tuna sandwich and was surprisingly very disappointed, it was very dry and lacked flavor and was served on even more dry and tasteless toasted bread. I was trying something new as I have had the European Croissant sandwich and soup which was absolutely wonderful in the past. I have definitely had better tuna for half the price. I'm trying to tell myself it must be a bad day or off day for the cook in order to consume it. I have dressed it with mustard, salt and pepper and it still leaves alot to be desired, even the pickle wasn't crisp and appeared old. What saved the day was the cup of clam chowder and fruit that accompanied the sandwich and my overpriced $4 order of french fries. It's not about the price being that it is relatively considered a good value for the area

Do you want a classic American style breakfast? Yes? Go here. Everything on their menu is tasty, I don't think that there's a bad dish. Quality is good and service is quick. This is about the best casual breakfast joint north of the river and south of Lincoln Park. Critically, there's hardly EVER a wait! So, when you're tired of waiting in line at Sugarberry, walk a couple blocks south and eat here instead.

These people know how to cook!! Sausage gravy... divine...cheese blintz.. delicious ... combo breakfast highly satisfying... eggs bendedict delightful... not too crowded at 1p on Sunday...server wonderful and for 3 STARVING ladies the service was fast, efficient and food hot... highly recommend
