This Coffee Shop is classified in the category of Brunch restaurant.
Being a vegetarian i had quinoa skillet. It was YUMMY!! Turmeric tea was also Amazing! Not to forget their homemade jam was DELICIOUS.Staff is warm and welcoming! Enjoyed the food and place!! Will definitely go back again SOON.Hands down one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve ever had! I eat out all the time and rarely do I see a place that was literally perfect at everything.
Always high quality. Always delicious.
Absolutely love this place for breakfast. Great gluten free choices and wonderful tea and coffee options. They are always very friendly and accommodating. Attentive staff.
Super cute place. They leave you an entire pot of coffee which is awesome. The quinoa skillet was amazing!!!!
Cozy setup with delectable food!
Great food but a bit noisy
Great place, and the food was delicious, only downturn was the wait, one hour to get a table, but if you do not.mind, the food will be worth it.
Every time we come to Egg Harbor, which use to be our favorite, there is less and less on the menu. No tomato soup! No omelets! No potato pancakes. Quality has gone down. Even the paper towels are cheap in the bathroom. So disappointing! We you have something good going, leave it alone.
Wonderful place for breakfast. I love that you have a pitcher of water in the table and you get a whole pitcher of coffee when you order coffee. I know some expect servers to be all over beverage refills, but this is much more convenient. The service is fast and friendly and there's a huge emphasis on teamwork. The food is fresh and well prepared. Parking is adequate. They serve intelligentsia coffee. The prices are good and the establishment is clean. What more could you ask for!?
I don’t mind waiting a half hour for a restaurant if the food is good. The food and the service were not. Eggs were over cooked and they were suppose to have cheese mixed in. The cheese was an after thought, not even melting a little. Potatoes undercooked. We also ordered pancakes that did not come till 10 minutes after we finished our food. Not worth the time or the money.
Has the best breakfast! Plenty of options and variety. Fantastic coffee and the nicest waiters
This place has always been one of my favorite breakfast spots in Naperville since I was in middle school ! The staff is always friendly and the menu has something for everyone.
Love the atmosphere and the service that comes with it. Great breakfast options
Excellent food! My 11 year old said best pancakes she has ever had. My Lobster Scrambler was to die for with all fresh “real” seafood! The summer specialty Tumeric Elixir drink was out of this world great!!!! Really appreciated our amazing server Amanda! The ratings on this establishment were accurate...so worth it!
Food was not good at all, no taste. I give it 3 stars for the drinks were delicious and service was great. We ordered orange juice, frozen hot chocolate and ice tea, all 3 delicious. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated on a very busy morning, that was great. Doubt I'd come back.
Great organic eggs. The best pancakes.
While waiting to be seated a woman walked in, party of 1, and was seated right away, even though we (2 in our party) and another group were there before her (there was no wait, so that's not a reason). She just walked in and wanted to be seated. Once we were seated, the table next to us, that was seated 5 minutes after us, had their order taken while we waited. Finally took our order, and it came out 15 minutes after the table next to us, even though it was only regular French toast. Service was not great, food was cold. Never again :(
My family favorite Saturday or Sunday breakfast place. The staff is amazing We love the place
This restaurant is in downtown Naperville in a nice shopping district. The service was perfect and the food was great. They have all the traditional breakfast dishes plus some nice twists on the basics. The grits here are awesome. Despite the hour wait, the food was worth the wait. I was surprised that they served shakshuka and it was absolutely delicious.
This morning, I ordered a garden scrambler. The eggs were way overcooked, to the point of being sponge-textured, soggy, and overall kinda gross to eat. Also not sure I got 3 eggs as promised by the menu because the portion that I received barely seemed like two. The potatoes tasted, unfortunately, of pure salt. This was a takeout order, as well, and despite promising a 10 minute wait, the actual wait time was double simply because they forgot to bring it out as soon as it was ready (by the time I got the food, it was cold). I still give 2 stars because my dine-in experience a couple of months ago was completely different and relatively pleasant - quick, friendly service and actually edible food. Maybe just never order takeout.
We happened to stop here by chance on a snowy morning and we loved it!!! I had the lobster scramble and my fiance had the Chilequelas. We loved the food! Our waitress was great and the service all seemed to flow smoothly not just with us but with everyone throughout the restaurant. They serve their coffee in rustic mugs that are also available for purchase at the front if the restaurant. It was very nice touch. This is a place we will be referring people to and revisiting!
I’ve been twice in the last 3 months for brunch and am blown away each time. The seasonal drinks are delicious, the portions are generous, the service is always quick but laid back. There was a 20-30 minute wait on Saturday but they give you a beeper and you can walk around the block while you wait (library and lots of stores nearby). I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because last time I ordered their seasonal special of brussel sprout skillet but the sprouts weren’t sautéd, they were raw and not easy to eat. Everything else was delicious.
Very good and very busy, about a 25 min wait. Personal very polite and always ready for any of your needs. Will be going back and recommend.
If your looking for a great local breakfast stop, you must visit Egg Harbor Cafe. The food is delicious and the preparation is magnificent. Breakfast of Champions. The skillets they have are phenomenal. Those potatoes are as good as they advertise. However I have to give this a four star simply because as a first timer I felt rushed, the service was great at first but I disliked waiting on drinks and how much a custom skillet costs. Maybe we should have been more cautious about the price for ingredients, server did not mention anything, but hey who knew it cost so much to add onions to a skillet. As someone who is on a budget, I felt nickel and dimed. But don't get me wrong, the food was so good that I will likely will be back for an occasional meal. Just hope the experience is better next time. Until next time...
Dare I say some of the best breakfast in Naperville. I particularly have a love for their poppy seed dressing.
Amazing food. Came every day for 3 days. Ethical place as well with 100% cage free eggs
I have enjoyed going to Egg Harbor Cafe for over 12 years. The food is delicious. The wait however can be very long escpecially if you go on a weekend. Don't go if you are starving. They do have a coffee bar inside now that you can get a drink while waiting. This time we got a funky monkey, a hot mocha and an Earl tea drink. Overall, I would recommend this place for eating.
Fresh, high quality food to the table quickly. The Lobster Scramble was delicious.
I had the Shakshuka, it was fantastic. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend this place.
Usually good However omelete was over cooked.
Excellent service with unique recipes
Nice breakfast/brunch restaurant. Quality of service could be improved. Appeared to be a college kid home for the summer and didn't have a real opinion on anything, as far as suggestions or one option vs another; he came back to check on my party 2 minutes after the food came out, however, he didn't come back until he had the check ready. Food quality was standard to above standard for a brunch place.
Delicious food very good price
The door county chicken salad was excellent!
We have been going to this location of Egg Harbor for several years and we always liked it. The food selection is great. Ingredients taste fresher than some other brunch places. Never had any difficulty in finding a vegetarian option or getting substitution done for no charge. Menu keeps getting refreshed through out the year. Excellent service, wait time can be longer during special occasions like mother's day. Great location for enjoying the Naperville river walk or the library while waiting for your table. Parking can be hard to find but plenty in the Naperville downtown area, including three parking structures.
Some of the best Hollandaise I've had around here, and their corned beef hash is delectable. Their black currant iced tea is simply Wunderbar! I love how they will give you a to go cup for your tea or coffee. Only problem was the wait for food, other than that, it's a great spot for a hearty breakfast.
Delicious breakfast and lunch fair!
Hands down one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve ever had! I eat out all the time and rarely do I see a place that was literally perfect at everything. The place was packed when we got here and we were told a twenty minute wait. They have an espresso bar to make you an amazing coffee while you wait. It took just five minutes for our coffees and they apologized for the long wait. As if! Then our table was ready in less than ten minutes. Our server Mikala greeted us immediately and was incredibly friendly, attentive and efficient. As a restaurant owner myself I can say that this staff is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Well done folks, well done. Do yourself a favor and eat here as soon as possible.
Everything on the menu sounds good and everything we had didn't disappoint. Naturally I had the Eggs Benedict but I subbed in the Habanero Hash as the side and WOW. Just WOW. Absolutely mind-blowing. SO. GOOD! Incredibly good. I can't say it enough, if you like spicy you MUST try this.
Loved eating here! They are able to customize their dishes to fit a lot of diets. I am doing a low carb diet so they were able to replace the potatoes with cauliflower rice and it was still good! Definitely recommend!
Great food and the service is incredible. Cherry smoked bacon was a party in my mouth. Love that they have gluten free pancakes. Our only complaint is that they don't have a location in Egg Harbor Wisconsin.
Great place for breakfast. Can have a bit of a wait on weekends. Menu has a nice variety of egg dishes ,but not as many pankcake/French toast offerings.
It was my first time coming here by myself, which i was embarrassed but, the atmosphere is very welcoming. I did not wait long for a table. Dylan my waiter sugguested the cinnamon French toast...& strawberry orange juice...omg to die for. The place is clean, cozy and very family oriented. My eggs was over cook but everything else was great. Thanks again Dylan for the superb customer service.
I love this place I would recommend this place to everyone
Wow, what a great experience!!! It was our first visit & we loved it!!! We have gluten allergies & other dietary needs, all of which were handled amazingly well!!! (GF plates are even a different color, which I wish every restaurant would do!!) We loved the cauliflower skillet & sweet potato skillet, both were delicious!!! We also had a wonderful loose leaf tea that was great quality & delicious (blueberry roobios & mint green tea-yum!!) Service was outstanding (Tara was our server) & we cant wait to come back!!!
Awesome food and awesome service.
Good old fashioned breakfast food the way you'd want if your grandma made it! Harbor seasoning is the bomb, and you should definitely get the strawberry OJ.
Great food friendly staff never leave disappointed.
Good food, though a little too much whipped cream on the mocha! Service was good overall, however I felt a little rushed despite there being plenty of empty tables.
Great place for breakfast!
Unbelievable food
This place is by far one of the best breakfast places I have been to. I love this location. It is a must try!
Great breakfast and vibe
Eating here was a good experience. Their meals were decent and delicious at a good price. I would love to visit again soon.
Good food and service. Great for a business meal.
Loved eating here! They are able to customize their dishes to fit a lot of diets. I am doing a low carb diet so they were able to replace the potatoes with cauliflower rice and it was still good! Definitely recommend!
We were in a rush to catch the train and desperately needed food. Our server was busy with other orders so another server jumped in to help. Our food arrived quickly and deliciously for a good price.
Slightly over-priced, quality food, good atmosphere.
Dylan is the greatest thing about this restaurant. I’m not saying the restaurant is bad far from it, the food is great, the drinks are delicious, and the team work from the whole staff is amazing. However Dylan’s energy, infectious personality, and pristine waiting skills will have you coming back again and again . Do yourselves a favor and ask to be in his section . Don’t forget to tip well :)
Quick service, Flavorable food. Breakfast only, only open until 2pm. Vegetables are fresh with excellent flavor. Potatoes in skillet are yummy crunchy. I'll be back, when I saved enough money. Kinda pricey.
Stopped with large party to eat here and they were very accommodating. The wait staff was excellent and the food was wonderful. They have a lot of gluten free choices and free range high quality food. Everyone loved their food. Their Swedish pancakes and cinnamon roll French toast were a hit. I enjoyed their habanero hash, you have to get the home fries. You really can’t go wrong with this place.
A few things to note from my experience eating here: The food came out fast and the staff was very observant if I needed anything The place was very crowded and always looks to be crowded when I pass this location. There is not enough parking. Downtown Naperville is a popular location and I suspect that some cars in their lot are not customers. This forced me to find street parking blocks away. It was very loud. The tables are close together so it is hard to hear your conversation over the other customers.
I've been here before and normally would give it 4 to 5 stars, but today the food was sub-par. Service was great, food was lacking. I will visit again.
Eat breakfast here every time I visit son n his family❤ Love their breakfast menu
Used to have the best freshly made corned beef hash... Then it went away for a while, and sadly, when it came back it was a new recipe that didn't measure up to the original.
Absolutely amazing! My mom and I needed a breakfast place to try and we discovered this gem. The service was phenomenal. The food got to us quickly and it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back here! I also loved all the Door County menu items and references as Door County is one of my favorite places to go.
Worth the wait. Above average food and service. It is an above average restaurant. One of the best. I wish it was closer.
good food but the wait can be long
Let’s talk food, staff and fixing an issue. The FOOD - Breakfast can be boring, BUT NOT HERE! Many creations to consider. Love this time of the year: Pumpkin Pancakes!! Do it! Do it! STAFF - Service has been responsive every visit, even when new faces surface. THE FIXED ISSUE - My eggs were not fresh when served this visit. They had been sitting for some time. The dry looking fruit next to it sang the same song: “Ode to a Heat Lamp” I told my waiter and IMMEDIATELY the problem was resolved. That said, 4 out of 5 stars still ain’t bad. Problems happen. How you respond matters most. Repeat customer here. Need I say more?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best place!!! I love it!! It is a nice place, the services is perfect, everyone is friendly and nice. The food!!! The best! Perfect got chocolate! Sometimes is full but they will not make you wait too much. It is affordable, nice, good, and fast!!!! It is the only place I eat breakfast other than my mom’s breakfast.
Always a great spot for breakfast/brunch.
Loved this place. The best omelet I've had! You have just the right combination of egg and "add ins". The staff was so friendly as well.
The best wait staff. Hands down. Don't even get me started on the delicious menu. I recommend this place always!
Very good service.
Wow what a menu! It's huge, innovative, and delicious! The staff was wonderful.
Food is absolutely delicious, and clearly made fresh and in house. They have plenty of healthy options and also some splurge options if that's what you're looking for. Came for Sunday brunch and wait time was only 30 minutes.
One of my favorite places for breakfast. Excellent food, I usually go for a skillet. I really appreciate that they serve Intelligensia more than anything.
Fav brunch place!
Good service and good food.
The Parfait was a new item on their menu but it was the best in terms of taste vs texture and I LOVED it! Service was very fast and the servers were great!
Went for brunch at this restaurant per google review. Took sometime to get food but it was worth the wait. Being a vegetarian i had quinoa skillet. It was YUMMY!! Turmeric tea was also Amazing! Not to forget their homemade jam was DELICIOUS
Swung by with a crew during the workday, and we were all pretty hungry from a few long days put together - this place absolutely hit the spot! Great service, generous portions (without being a little bit *too* much), and the prices were very reasonable. Not only were the portions perfect for a very hungry group, but the food was awesome. The vibe is exactly what you would expect from a suburban breakfast/diner place, but it was delicious. I definitely would stop here again!
No yolk! Eggcellent food and quick service. The poached egg in the Benedict was a bit under done, but overall a great meal. It was our first time and we will be back.
I dined at this restaurant on a weekday the portions are small and the prices are high. I ordered a brussel sprout skillet. The skillet was so spicy I could not eat it. The cook should have known using a handful of jalapeno peppers is risky. ( I use Tabasco at home) when I told the server he shrugged and asked if I wanted it to go?! $19.00 dollars for a skillet I couldn't eat and a small side of potatoes. I didn't even care about the price, what makes me angry is that I am still hungry!! The cashier asked how everything was, when I told her she didn't seem to care. Good luck.. PS bring a Kind bar just in case.
My favorite breakfast place ever!!
Great food. Huge amount if choices always good service
Obviously popular by the huge crowd Good service friendly staff...good portion size goid variety on menu
We know the breakfasts here are second to none. This time ordered a Kale Berry salad for lunch. It was excellent! The kale was crisp. The berries were plump and fresh. Exceeded expectations. May consider coming here for again for salad.
Great breakfast and brunch restaurant. Great coffee never empty cup. Really good food and service.
Great place for breakfast
A little bit on the expensive side but good food, good environment and pleasant employees
Family friendly nice restaurant. I ordered avocado salmon toast and crepe, they were good. And service was good, too.
Good food, fast service, fair price
I popped in for a bite after a stroll along the Riverwalk. As a solo dinner on this occasion, I was pleased to be seated in a booth, without the annoying "Just one?" that frequently accompanies the greeting at other establishments. I noted quite a few other individual dinners, as well as families, groups of friends, and couples. I chose the Barrington Benedict- classic Eggs Benedict served with potatoes. I got a side of fruit. The servings were plentiful, perfectly prepared, and very tasty. I was not rushed, and was appropriately attended to. I highly recommend Egg Harbor Cafe- regardless of the number of people in your party.
One of my most favorite places to eat! Awesome food & super friendly staff!!
Delish!!
everything was perfect and so delicious ! I will be coming back every time I'm in the area.
Food has always been consistently good and the wait staff attentive.
Excellent spot with all your breakfast favorites.
Good food at a reasonable price. The place has a nice, cozy atmosphere. It is worth a visit once in a while. The pizza was decent.
Great bfast and service. What a quaint city with the campus of North Central woven in!!
Fantastic selection of breakfast meals. The cuisine here is absolutely amazing. Staff is very friendly and service is fast and personalized. Recommend the eggs Benedict with salmon, simply stunning.
My food was really good and it was really filling. My boyfriends food was just ok though, I think next time he will order off the menu and not the special.
Really charming place! It was super crowded but I can totally see why!!! The food was fantastic and fresh and the staff were super duper friendly. I've seen comments about the portion size but I think the portions are just right. Reminds me of how portions USED to be in the 80s lol I was completely full! I'm a Eggs Benedict fanatic and when I see variations on menus I just HAVE to ty it! With that said, the Farmer's Market Benedict was delicious!!!! I'm a meat eater but, I didn't even miss the meat in this!!! I will return!
Lovely place to go, just crazy crowded. Be ready to wait
Food is pretty good. A little pricey for breakfast, but the portions are generous. Coffee is quite good here, service is quick and friendly. Great place to feed the family on the weekend or meet a friend for breakfast during the week.
Great new options
Really good food for a fair price and out of this world service. Came in on a Monday morning and from afar the neighborhood looked very quiet. I opened the door to Egg Harbor and found out why, it seemed the whole town was getting breakfast at this cozy neighborhood Grandma's kitchen! I was surprised by how busy they were. Though it did not hinder our service or experience. We were sat and immediately greeted by our ever so helpful server and had a great meal. Will definitely come back my next chance to.
Great chain restaurant that serves primarily breakfast fare. Food is fresh and they take time to create some creative means. Nice ambience and exceptional customer service
Overpriced, noicy, silverware smells. And food cold
The food was really good and the service was very good.
Great place for breakfast. They have a decent tea and coffee selection. Everyone that I dined with enjoyed their breakfast. Pricing isn't bad and it is in a great spot in downtown Naperville.
Breakfast here is very good. Love the coffee too. Can't go wrong on the breakfast menu.
This place always have the best breakfasts. I never get bored coming here. Staff are fun. We can check in online. Great location.
This place was hopping on a Sunday morning! I was on my way home from a wedding and I couldn't afford to sit and Fried potato cake with cheese and bacon, topped with eggs Benedict, tomatoes, green onions and sour cream. Also included an English muffin with homemade jelly. Breakfast was delicious!
Good food, fair prices. The house made jam was tasty. Service was a little slow but they were really busy. Will go again.
I used to vome to this place once a month and I allways liked it. But today I hade a very bad experience. No clean bad tast of food. I wish I dont pay
We were short on time due to an appointment we needed to make and asked the waitress if we could get in and out in 45 minutes. They were incredibly accommodating and we were put in 35 minutes. I had the meat lovers skillet and it was good.
We’ve been going to Egg Harbor for longer than I can remember. Always a family favorite! We love the pumpkin pancake combo...it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and the food is always spot on. If you’re going on the weekend, be sure to get there before 9am unless you don’t mind waiting for 30 minutes!
Amazing food in a cozy environment
This is a fantastic breakfast establishment. I have already been here a few times and never disappointed. They have great twists on flavors. I feel it's a must try for everyone. I still have to visit for the lunch menu but feel that breakfast has won me over.
If I could give Egg Harbor in Naperville 10 stars, I absolutely would! This is hands down the best breakfast spot around. As always, the food is super fresh and delicious, as well as the flavored coffees and fresh-squeezed orange juice! What really takes this place over the top though is the team. The manager Courtney is the most pleasant, welcoming person ever! Her positive energy definitely trickles down to the entire staff, as every team member genuinely seems to love their job and it shows! The service is always outstanding. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back!
Breakfast place. Food was great. A good amount of choices. Clean. Right by the river walk. Might have to wait for seating and service since the place is popular. Pleasant visit to say the least.
Great place to go for a gormet breakfast. Delicious food. Worth the wait
Cute cafe right between the Naperville river walk and the downtown area. Parking could be tough on the weekends because even on a Monday morning the parking lot was full. Food was delicious with a lot of options ranging from super sweet to healthy and gluten-free. Pictured on top is their Cinnamon Roll French toast and the bottom is their spring Challah French Toast!
Great food. Great coffee. They brew Intelligentsia coffee which is amazing.
Good place to get breakfast. Skillet is delicious. There is a wait. It's a popular place with all the local rich locals in Naperville. Service was decent.
Food is always good, and they serve intelligentsia coffee, which is great. It's often crowded with a wait for tables, but they turn pretty quickly without making you feel rushed. All of the servers are very friendly and attentive.
Great service and menu. Food is always prepared well. Good place to go if you have special needs diet, Vegan/allergies/gluten free etc
A good place in Naperville to enjoy your eggs, coffee and breakfast. Nice Ambiance, good food and efficient service. Would love to visit this again.
The foods always good. The last time we went, though, my sister's food was sub par. We spoke to a manager about it, and his response was pretty much "well, that's how we make it now." As we were paying our bill, the same manager could tell we weren't very happy, and came over to make it right this time. All that said, the food is great, and while everyone is human, they try to make things right in the end
Another Egg Harbor Cafe to not complain about at all. We ate here on Sunday and had a great breakfast. Strawberry Orange juice is always a must, and I had a Pulled Pork Scrambler that was out of this world. Every Egg Harbor has been great and the location for this one is great with all the shopping around. Highly recommend this to anybody looking for a great breakfast with great atmosphere.
This is a high-end (decent prices) breakfast place with great coffee and amazing servers. Everyone is smiling and happy. We couldn't find parking outside for a long time (imagine how busy this place is) and it was totally worth it. Their food, especially toast and eggs is something else. We had great time and terrific experience. Will keep coming back and recommend friends. Keep up the good job
Breakfast was good. Very wide variety of breakfast items.
Nice busy place for breakfast
We are here visiting our son who just moved to this area. We found this cafe and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Our breakfast was delicious but my Pumpkin Spice Latte made by Megan made my breakfast complete. We are from Rhode Island and when we come back to visit our son again we will be back to visit Egg Harbor Cafe. I look forward to Megan sharing her new seasonal flavor of Latte.
Amazing service, beautiful and energetic atmosphere. Very clean and organized restaurant. Very good wait time for food even during busy hours. Friendly hosts/hostesses, waiters and waitresses. Food is fantastic and prices are very fair for the amount of food that is served. An instant favorite after my first visit!
Usually a super busy restaurant. Considering it's in a smaller space, it is a a bit roudy. If loud noises don't bother you, I recommend. Food is great and decently priced. Service was good and all the staff are friendly. Overall a good experience, would go again.
Every time we come to the Chicago area we try to stop at the Egg Harbor Cafe in Naperville. It is one of our favorite places for breakfast/lunch. The restaurant has expanded since we were last there a couple of years ago. The new part is a little noisy but the long wait was worth it for the delicious food. We highly recommend the place and be sure to walk along the river afterwards as well as shop in the local stores. There are other Egg Harbors in Chicagoland, but this one is our favorite.
We had breakfast here on Black Friday morning. The wait for a table was short even though the restaurant was very busy, the service was friendly and professional, and the seasonal pumpkin pancakes were to die for. This was a great start to our day.
The place was so cool, I feel like i'm at home. Great food!
Pleasant atmosphere. Really GOOD FOOD. Great service. Moderate pricing if you work with waiter in putting your meal together.
Visited on a busy Sunday morning. The place seemed pretty popular, but the staff turns tables pretty quickly, so not a long wait. The decor and ambiance was very upbeat, the staff efficent but friendly. I'm not particular about local sourcing or organic anything, so a lot of their menu shtick might have gone over my head. They have "harbor potatoes" which are cubed, with green onions and the occasional white onion, in lieu of hash browns or French fries, so you might not find exactly what you seek there, especially if you are getting a sandwich or burger. Also seems pricey for breakfast -- every entree was upwards of $10, which seems a little much to me. Nothing objectionable here, but I probably wouldn't return.
Used to frequent this place often until recently when it seems that more often than not, we receive truly poor service. We just left after waiting 23 minutes to be greeted. We patiently watched 3 tables around us get greeted, have orders taken and receive beverages. The manager came by at around the 12 minute mark to take a drink order (no apology for the delay) then never returned with coffee and orange juice. We chose to leave. Upon leaving the server (that had prevuously been ignoring us) followed behind us and said "i just came to your table" with quite a little attitude. Obviously she came when she saw us leaving. This is ridiculous. The manager and the server both dropped the ball. We have been seated on the patio on a previous visit and a similar situation happened, again, no apology, no awknowledgement that we had sat for so long while other around us got served. Who is in charge here? Really sad. This place used to be awesome.
Very good. The food was great and they believed me when I said I wanted EXTRAAA hollandaise sauce.
As usual, Egg Harbor did not disappoint. We have previously visited the Lake Geneva and Wheaton locations, and have never had a bad meal. Had a bit of a wait this time but it was lunch time on a Sunday in downtown Naperville on a beautiful day so that’s to be expected.
Love this place! Love the chilaquiles
Food is always good but the service is going off a cliff. My wife and I have been going to this location for more than two decades on a weekly basis. Over the past few weeks the service has become unacceptable. The server's don't come back to check on you. It's nearly impossible to get your drinks refilled. We've had to wait over 30 minutes after our meal was finished to go chase down somebody to get our bill, just so we could pay and leave. This is not a single incident. It is becoming a reoccurring theme eating there.
Very yummy skillet! Loved the potatoes.
Honestly my favorite breakfast spot in the suburbs.
Great breakfast spot. Lots of options. They also have turkey sausage for those with dietary restrictions. Fresh strawberry orange juice. When you order coffee you get your own little carafe to refill as you like.
