Liked the chiliquilles still crispy tortilla chips with good salsa granted I know chilliquilles are hotly contested on what style is the best these are my favorite as of late. Have several different salsas to try I had the red. Cafe de olla was great and delicious, recommend it on a cold day

This is addressed more as a plea to the owners and management than anything else--your food is delicious, I really want D'Nuez on 18th to succeed and am invested in your sticking it out and becoming a Pilsen institution as much as your original Brighton Park location is. But that's not going to happen as long as you keep all your menu items priced $2 to $3 higher than exactly the same item at your other location. I can see how you might need to pay off your startup costs and Pilsen rent, but overcharging your customers is not the way to do so. Diners such as myself who like to eat at your restaurant don't make much more money when they live here in Pilsen than they do in Brighton. Until you revise your menu and price it fairly, I'm afraid that none of are going to be able to afford to patronize you no matter how much we may want to support you. I'm posting comparison shots of the menus at your two locations to show just how glaring the disparities are across each item and category...

My first and last time coming here. I order a panini and it was very cold and to top it out it had a hair. Service was okay. For a party of four they added a 15% gratuity. Will never come back again. Extremely disappointed.

We decided to swing by for brunch after spotting this place from the street. Right away we could tell they were busy and we're told it would take less than 30 minutes to get seated for 4 people. We figured it would be as such due to it being 11:30am on a Sunday. We only spent 15 minutes waiting on a table. The staff was quick to get our drink orders, which we all had the café de olla. It has a really great cinnamon flavor that isn't too over powering for the drink. The enchiladas de mole is also such a rich and flavorful dish. Highly recommended for those that enjoy a sweet sauce. We had the crepes as a dessert and thought just brought everything together nicely. Overall, this is the place you want to come to for a quick and tasty meal that tastes just like mom's at home cooking.

The menu is on the pricier end for brunch but well worth it. The service was great, very attentive. The food was flavorful and delicious and nothing like I've had before. The children section was comprised of what seemed like the regular kids options i.e. chicken nuggets and fries so it wasnt very appealing to for us. We ordered off of the regular menu for our son and he loved the crepes. We tried the barbacoa burger and the chilaquiles with chipotle sauce and steak.

The green chilaquiles were just how I like. Crunchy NOT soggy, as they should be. Not too spicy, just enough. Just enough salsa, not too dry nor swimming in sauce. The rice looked questionable, but it was actually one of the best I've had [at a restaurant]. Somehow places always manage to screw up the rice. I even ate the small salad on the side! And we all know that's pretty unheard of at Mexican restaurants. I ordered the arrachera to go with it and I can't complain. Juicy, tender, flavorful. Nuff said. Now to get to the best part. Their café de la hoya lives up to all the hype. DON'T add cream or sugar! At least try it beforehand. It is PERFECT. In fact, it's so perfect, I had way too much, and gave myself a bit of a caffeine rush/palpitations. Bottom line: don't let gluttony get the best of you at this place, it can be dangerous!

Place is clean servers fast. Parking in rear. But once again high prices on food basics. Sandwich was ok but whole foods has better sandwiches with better ingredients. Had steak platter steak was shredded to make it seem like alot. Rice was bland. Salad was laughable. People use shredded lettuce because it is easier to keep in fridge for days. Recommend drop prices10 to 15 percent. Focus on quality and dont let the chef take short cut on working. Ill go back and try some mexican food and see how it is. Cant recommend at this time.

OMG... I don't know what I can possibly say about this place. My entire family walked out of here with a food coma! It was amazing food and great service. We had the most fantastic chilaquiles that we have ever had. My husband had the salsa verde chilaquiles and I had the mole chilaquiles. Our daughter had their French toast with Nutella on top. I have to say that because they were quiet the whole time they ate, that they enjoyed their food. The banana-strawberry crepes were the perfect balance at the end of our meal. The cafe de jolla was one of the greatest cups of coffee that I've ever had, with a little cream and no need for sweeten it up - since the coffee is brewed with canela (cinnamon). Seriously cannot wait to go back again so I can try another dish on their menu and my husband wants to try all their flavors of chilaquiles... We have certainly found a wonderful spot in Pilsen that we can't wait to bring others to.

This was my first time here. The food is ok, but the Café de Olla is the best! I ordered the Chilaquiles con Salsa Verde with sunny side up eggs and Carne Arrachera. The eggs were not runny, bummer, and the meat was overcooked, the sauce was just ok. My husband had the Chipotle Chicken Panini and it was delicious. Maybe I'll check it out again and try something different. The food is reasonably priced, but the drinks seem a bit pricey.

We had the red sauce chilequiles with eggs,and mole enchiladas. Both dishes had white rice with mixed vegetables and a shredded lettuce with diced tomatoes. The cafe de la olla was perfect. I expected a little spicy chile favor in the chilequiles, it seemed more like a bland canned sauce though. One last note be discriptive when asking for sunnuside up eggs. They can fry up those badboys to be hard boiled.
