Came here for the first time today and I can honestly say it did not disappoint. They had a very versatile menu. For a non-coffee drinker like myself, I liked that had a ton of options for me to choose from. They had coffee, tea, smoothies, and even food. They made it very challenging for me to choose just one drink! I really liked the Strawberry Matcha Latte and their snickerdoodle cupcake. In my opinion, the prices were fair to the quality of their goods. I will definitely be going back to try more of their unique creations.

Shopping local is easy, but it's even easier when all the boxes are checked off. Daily projects seeks to bring a diverse, and regularly changing menu to an area plagued by global coffee chains. To me what sets daily projects apart from other companies is that they offer a broad swath of new flavors and experiences for you to try, without any sort of elitist implied understanding. Service here is fast and friendly. The staff could not be nicer and more patient with non-coffee snobs like myself and are quick to offer a suggestion if you're looking to try something new. Additionally the food here is really really good. I suggest the breakfast burrito, it's the best. Overall I hope the daily project continues to florish and prosper, because these are the kind of nice things we are not supposed to have

Absolutely amazing coffee. I always get one of the pour overs, and I have not been disappointed. They are so flavorful and delicious. The bakery items that I've had aren't the greatest but the coffee makes up for it. It is a cute shop with lots of space and very friendly employees. 10/10 would recommend. Also, sign up for the reward system the first time you go.

I'm always looking for a coffee place off the beaten chain path. For that alone it piqued my interest while I was out for a ride. This place has great coffee, friendly service and an inviting atmosphere. Perfect for dropping in or spending an hour to get some reading done.

A great spot, and though it's not always busy, a popular one. Main thing: a place for people to get a cafe drink and maybe light food while getting work done or just meet someone - but by name the former. They offer top quality local coffees and a modest menu of higher-end daytime light fare. The atmosphere is a mix of minimalistic rugged/modern with some light natural touches. Great for concentration. There is music on one side but the other, larger side is quieter, which is my preference. Accessible location. Expect higher pricing than the average cafe.

This place is basically a second home. The owners are friendly and sociable, along with the baristas. All the drinks are delightful, in my experience. The atmosphere is wonderful, chill, and welcoming. It's a great place to work, meet friends, or just hang out. They have many events, too, such as a board game gathering and an open mic poetry night. I love this place.

Best cold brew I had yet. It was so delicious and smooth. Sat down to enjoy the day and it was perfect. Having a sweet treat balances the strong coffee flavor and it was awesome.

Great space and the shop gives you the ability to get work done. Very disappointed at the new menu change. Vegetarian breakfast burrito was a staple of the morning experience for me that is no longer there. Replaced with vegan cheeseburgers and salad turkey clubs :/.

Stopped here during a work break and got some espresso and steamed milk. Pretty simple order but they didn't charge for the milk, and also included some sparkling water! Baristas were super friendly and efficient.

Dear owners: Please provide your basil plants with a lot more sunlight! They are turning so pale without the sun!! Review: This place is great. I've been looking for a cafe to hangout and do work at in the city but never found one as good as this one. Coffee, smoothies, and food are all really good. Highly recommend the Alpha Kale smoothie. Music aren't too loud or annoying, and most importantly, the temperature is prefect! Most places are either too cold or too hot to stay for long. The services are fast and staffs are really friendly. Plenty of spaces and outlets too. I wish this place can be my regular place for study and work but I live so far away. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in the burbs!!

A much needed trend setter here in the burbs! Coffee is spot on. Owners are amiable, knowledgeable and dedicated. Kids love the space (minus one odd photo on the wall). Personally, I recommend the vanilla cold brew! Follow on social media for updates, specials and shot outs - tweets and such are not in excess. Support your local biznez!

My favorite coffee spot! One of the best-known secrets around the NW burbs. Great (but not overwhelming) selection, friendly staff, clean and modern spaces all contribute to the comfortable atmosphere. Try the Nitro cold brew, it's life-changing!

Amazing coffee bar right off Randall Road!!! One thing I love about downtown Chicago is being able to find unique coffee houses every few blocks with a relaxed environment and great coffee. This place makes a mean macchiato with Intelligensia coffee! I also love that they have great hours that make it a nice place to hang out in the evenings or grab a coffee in the mornings quickly going south on Randall. And they didn't cheap out on the decor which I feel many first time standalone coffee houses mistakenly do. Cool. Fun. Hip. Whatever you want to call it, i will definitely be going back.

Went here for coffee and a snack. Problem being that I am gluten intolerant. They might have had a salad I could have, but I was in a mood for anything BUT a salad (since that ends up being my only option the majority of the time). I was also mislead by a review on here saying they had a gluten free pastry which they definitely did not. If you are gluten intolerant or have Celiac I would not recommend this place for food. The coffee was decent and the employees were friendly. However, the Thai tea they had was EXTREMELY weak and tasted...off. Something was not right. It tasted like a lot of dairy and a drop or two of possibly some kind of black tea? I would not recommend it to anyone. It was the worst immitation "Thai tea" I have ever tasted.

As much as my wife likes the coffee, it seems over priced for what you get. We went in for breakfast, got two basic breakfast sandwiches, one small latte and a smoothie and it was close to $30. The sandwich was ok, but nothing special. So if you love coffee maybe it is worth it, but not for me.

I absolutely love this place but unfortunately don’t see myself going here anymore. They changed their smallest size from 12oz to 16oz- adding more milk to a latte. Now I can barely taste the espresso and if I ask for an extra shot of course I will be charged. Their lavender lattes were amazing and my favorite before they changed the sizes. Now I just taste milk.

Usually love coming here when I can but today was not the best experience I’ve ever had. I ordered a cold brew and it took over 10 min for it to come out and it was not busy at all! You could tell the staff was all over the place and 3 different people worked on getting me my cold brew which I found to be disorganized. On top of that it had a very similar taste to alcohol and I only was able to take a few sips before having to throw it away. For the cost it was a very big waste of money. I was very disappointed with this visit and with the coffee I received.

WOW! Daily Projects is a hidden GEM! great atmosphere, great proximity for client meetings, and a clean establishment. I will and definitely recommend meetings with clients at the intersection of Randall and Algonquin - easy access, great place! OH- and the coffee- very good, something different, and a friendly staff - i had the slow pour, and then a drip to go - both were great. I didn't get the staff's name, but the young ladies were both pleasant - thank you!

A new gem for the burbs! I currently live in Milwaukee but grew up and lived in the Algonquin area for most of my life. There were a few cafes that would pop up that were nice, but they often didn’t last very long unfortunately. Even though I would much rather support a local coffee shop, It seemed like the only consistent coffee destination available was Starbucks. When I moved to Milwaukee I got spoiled by the sheer volume of excellent local coffee shop options it has to offer. A Milwaukee friend got a job in the northwest burbs and asked me if I had any coffee shop suggestions in the area, and I wasn’t able to encourage him on the subject, because the burbs really don’t have a ton to offer! But now I’m happy to say I now can give a suggestion if I get asked again! This place is clean, has friendly and kind staff. It has a good selection of coffee and tea. Normally I’m a coffee person, but I had already reached my max caffeine intake for the day so I opted for some of the Shaken teas. The Chamomile Grapefruit tea was delicious. It seems to be the perfect atmosphere to get work done or catch up with a friend! Definitely impressed to find this place in Algonquin!

I recommend the new oatmeal item on the menu, very delicious with candied nuts and fruits. The quiches are also very good.

This is the second time I have been here. The first time the checkout person didn't get everything I had ordered and had to clarify my order 3-4 times. I thought: Well, it happens...that's okay. Today I'm here and my grilled cheese took way longer than it should take to make a grilled cheese AND the cheese is not melted. It is, in fact, cold, between two modestly toasted pieces of bread. My dudes. Get better.

I ordered a latte and a croissant. The croissant tasted stale. When I asked the guy at the counter if they were freshly made, he replied with a sarcastic "I'm pretty sure" remark and gave me a look as much as to say "Don't bother me". The latte was more than $5.00 and I did not tip. He had a very disgusted look on his face and his body language told me that I wasn't welcome. I wish I had gotten his name. He was wearing a black shirt and had blue streaks of color in his hair. He seemed very sarcastic overall. I'm not sure if he just had a problem with me or if that is how he is all the time. The blonde girl at the counter also seemed like she was upset. The place seems nice from the pictures and I'm surprised they have so many good reviews, but my experience was the opposite. Bad customer service. Did I mention the latte tasted below average. There have been other complaints about the croissants and I wish they would pay attention to what the customers are saying about their service. Anyways, my two bits.

It's a cool place that features an interesting menu, with delicious food and friendly baristas. Unfortunately, I've found my coffee and espresso based beverages to be supremely weak in flavor. A mocha has tasted more like hot chocolate, and an Americano tasted more like water.

Absolutely love this place! There coffee makes Starbucks look like a joke! It's brewed to perfection with numerous options! Tried a pumpkin spice latte both iced and hot and it was the best psl I have ever had! They don't use a weird orange syrup like Starbucks it's real spice the way it should be done! The food items are top notch you must try the chess pie! It's beautiful inside very spacious and modern. The service is also good! My only complaint is I would love a bigger cup option coffee is just too good for the small cups they offer
