Stopped in to check it out and had the Saturday special, 16 oz Americano and it was pretty good. What stood out most though was the sweet girl who works there. Didn't catch her name but she was super sweet and knowledgeable about the area, which I appreciate because I was visiting from Chicago. Will most definitely be back!!!

Great place to study. I love the atmosphere and that part of town. The Southwest Turkey Bacon wrap and hazelnut mocha frappe were great but the hummus with bread was definitely a highlight. That was some of the best hummus I've ever tried.

Kopi is a friendly and lowkey place to work, meet up, or grab a light meal/coffee. It's the only offering of its kind in the downtown area, so I appreciate it deeply. Their side salads are killer, make sure to try it out.

Excellent coffee seems treats. I usually stop here every trip home to Illinois before catching the train to Chicago. It I lived in the area, I would frequent here often. As it isn't a chain, the atmosphere is eclectic and warm. Since it's summer, they have plenty of chairs and tables outside to enjoy.

Place is not the most beautiful but it is clean and the lattes are good. I like to come here occasionally for coffee and pastry in the morning. I bring my paper and spend some time here and no one rushes me. I will return.

Old fashioned coffee place in downtown. Good ambience and decent choice of drinks. Comfortable place to sit down and get your work done. They say $2 lattes on Wednesday but I couldn’t get one, when asked about it the barista had no good answer.

They have the best chai tea latte ever. However they do have a problem with not informing customers that they switch their chai tea from time to time . If your supplier gave you different chai...then say so or don't sell it...because the taste is a huge difference!!! And it happens a lot. I do like their food as well . They also stay open late . Also your WiFi keeps cutting out ALL THE TIME!! Fix it!

First - this place has an AMAZING hummus pita. I also had the cold brew, and it's one of the better ones I've tried in the Champaign-Urbana area. Second - Cafe Kopi has a really lovely atmosphere, and a very polite and professional staff. The person who took my order helped me pick out a dairy-free meal option. They have coconut and almond milk options, too.

Spacious environment and outdoor seating, which is located under an awning to partially shield you from the sun. Inside, there are two main rooms to choose from. I really enjoy the variety of tables that range from single to 6+ people. Though this may not bother some people, I'm always struck by how yellow the lighting is. This is great for evenings but off-putting during work hours. The coffee is great. They have excellent pourovers and daily specials. I happened to go this Wednesday and, yes, they have plenty of milk alternatives. Wednesday is $2 Latte Day and they subbed in coconut milk free of charge. The staff are welcoming and patient. I've seen them explain the differences in roasts and drink types to people who were unsure. Overall, great space with books, board games, and considerate patrons.

The atmosphere in this shop is really great for sitting and chatting or for studying. It is located in an easy to find place and the staff was courteous. I did not order a specialty drink, I only had the coffee. However, for those that consider themselves coffee connoisseurs, they may find the quality of the coffee disappointing and mediocre. They also do not offer pour overs or any method you might find at a higher end coffee shop.

My wife and I were to attend an event in Champaign, IL and were looking for a restaurant the was not a run-of-the-mill chain establishment and would have good food. I read the mostly-positive reviews about Cafe Luna and we settled on this place for dinner. We were new to tapas-style dining and decided to give it a go. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. My wife's favorite was the Coconut Shrimp and mine was the Flank Steak Crostinni with blue cheese.We had a excellent dining experience and would not hesitate to dine there again. We absolutely recommend Cafe Luna!!

Kopi has some of the best coffee in town, and definitely the best cafe feel. Tons of spacious tables big enough for a group, or small ones just for 2, free WiFi, outdoor seating, and nice decor with an ever-changing display of art on the walls. The food, while delicious, tends to be a bit pricey and the portions are small, so maybe not the best place to go for a full meal, but fine for a light snack while you're reading a book or studying, and the prepackaged to go foods could be handy if you're in a rush. The coffee is fantastic (try the cold brew!), huge tea selection too! There's also a discount for refills or bringing your own mug and a punch card so every 10th drink is free! Long live Café Kopi!

I ordered a green tea frappe through GrubHub. Since there were big chunks of ice and no flavor I had GrubHub call to discuss the orders with Cafe Kopi. I was told by an agent the restaurant said there was nothing wrong with my drink and that's how it usually made. I won't be returning here

Great place to get some work done. This cafe clearly knows it's audience. There are plugs everywhere. The process are totally reasonable and the staff are pretty chill. I can see this place being my office outside my office.

Cafe kopi is a wonderful cafe, with delicious coffee and food choices. They have some, if not the highest quality coffee offerings in town and locally source most of their food offerings. Try some of there delicious grilled sandwich options, doughnuts from carmella's, or an almond anise biscotti with your drink of choice. Baristas are very skilled and polite :) the ambiance is just right for studying and paper writing. On weekends, be sure to get here early if you need a table by a power outlet!

If you are looking for a great study space, then Cafe Kopi is your place! Seriously though... there's something in the water there that makes you crazy productive. It is a cozy coffeeshop that features local art on the walls and has an extensive tea offering. They serve their tea in a teapot and teacup if you drink it inside. Cafe Kopi is a great alternative for the UIUC student looking to get off campus or for a local to grab a nice cup of coffee. As a bonus, it is walkable from the transit station, meaning that it is accessible for folks without a car!

Very cozy cafeteria. As for coffee, the espresso is great but they should definitely inprove the quality of their regular coffee. Pastries are pretty good too. I'd encourage them to work more on the staff-customers relationship though. You can do a better job, and avoid causing someone to leave because you're sweeping the stairs, and having the dust fall on him/her. Overall, it's a pleasant location where to go for a quiet chat with a friend, or to work on your laptop.

Eclectic vibe with a lot of visual interest. Kinda cool that they serve coffee in glasses, rather than a mug. Alas, a large coffee cost $3.29, and you're feeding a meter to park. The house coffee is pretty good, but not among the best I've had. All in, it's worth the money if you don't mind paying extra for the coffeehouse experience. If you're strictly about the brew, you may want to look elsewhere.

Overpriced, lukewarm coffee. Refills cost almost as much as a new cup. I went here about twice, and both times I had buyer's remorse. I wouldn't consider buying anything to eat here, but it all looked pretty good. The coffee wasn't spectacular, but I'm not much a connoisseur, but I do drink coffee daily. This place would be a lot more attractive to me if the coffee was cheaper, as it can get pretty expensive to come here daily. Both times I got coffee here, it was lukewarm. I prefer my coffee to be too hot to drink when I get it so I can decide when to. Don't forget to support local business though.
