Service good, atmosphere down home, located in a small little town. Mainly fried food. No vegetable choices on menu besides mashed potatoes or salad. unless you count french fries or onion rings, again fried. Trust me I'm not a health freak. But would have loved some healthier choices. Especially vegetables. Food average to below. Nothing to write home about. My Husband loved their coconut pie because it tasted like Sarah Lee. Lol!!! He's so cute!!! Brought him back to childhood. Of course you don't have to take my word for it. Go try it for yourself. Matter of fact I wish you would. Not giving this rating lightly. Would never want to hurt someone's business especially a small Mom and Pops type. But I do write how I experience it. Please try it for yourself it might not be your experience. Waitress was friendly, but other than that, it was a very negative experience. I regret getting breakfast here. Sausage tasted like cafeteria food. We got the french toast and was bland and felt very cheap. Better off buying breakfast food from the grocery store and making it yourself

Very nice people. Service was great. Had a nice breakfast! Homemade toast was great, along with the homemade jam. A good amount of food to fill you up. Some places have poor quality of bacon, but was pleased with theirs as well. Stop by if you're close!

The food is very good, the rolls are the best I have ever tried. My only complaint is that when I paid extra to add cheese to my sandwich there was hardly any on it and that definetly diminished the experience for me.

Great home cooking! Just off main road. My Tomato & Rice soup was made from scratch and best I've ever eaten! Other foods equally excellent! Coffee ☕ was a bit weak and not as hot as I like it but the cooking made up for it! HUGE HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS!

Sweet Jesus! This is the best homemade breakfast you can get for miles. If you have any ability to come here, do it! Get slices of their homemade toast and please do yourself a favor and get a cinnamon roll, it's the best roll I've ever had. You will not be dissatisfied, fill your stomach and your soul.

Absolutely fantastic, especially considering that they only have one cook and one waitress. Their staple cinnamon roll is the best I’ve ever had, a perfect balance of enjoyably sweet flavors in the frosting mixed with a soft texture in the bun. Incredible burgers and sandwiches as well. Aside from the great food, the waitress was the kindest and fastest working server I’ve ever met. 10/5 stars if I could.

Clean friendly service with decent food. It was 11:05 AM roughly and I asked if it was too late to order breakfast, as we were the only table in the joint, the answer was no it's after 11. I would have been more understanding if there were other tables. Hence minus one star. In the end I ordered a party melt with salad and an egg on the side. The patty melt was cooked to my liking, the salad was fresh and looked better than I anticipated and the egg was a perfect over easy. Coffee, well it was a bit bit bland. But overall a good experience and I'd return again!

My family enjoyed a nice, basic breakfast here after staying overnight in McCammon. The food was fresh, and priced well, plus the waitress was very friendly. Our eggs were cooked spot-on as requested. They feature home made bread; the baker stopped in with a fresh batch while we were there. It's pretty much the only game in town, but I would recommend it anyway!

Fantastic food! They have the best pie I've ever had this side of the Mississippi! The homemade bread and rolls will keep you coming back, and its a perfect local place to stop in on the way to Lava Hot Springs. I will give Little Rock 10 out of 5 stars

I hate to leave a bad review but this place earned it. The coffee was little more than brown colored water, my wife's egg came out with a broken yolk and overcooked, and I asked for my hash browns extra crispy but when they came out they were barely cooked in limp. To add insult to injury this place is expensive for just food service distribution-type food.

Mediocre. $9 for what? Two eggs scrambled with a little cheese, a little sausage, a little green pepper. I mean it's really a little, not stuffed, not good, just barely has anything in the eggs. Even worse the biscuit, you can tell they are cheap and bought in a bag and heated in a microwave. Everything was basic, processed stuff, the meats, the biscuits, nothing home made. Only good I can say, food was hot, except my biscuit, and people were friendly enough.

We loved our visit to this cafe. Food was well priced and satisfying. We loved the toast made from homemade bread and even bought a loaf on our way out. Our waitress was very efficient and friendly and the hometown vibe was endearing. Great place to eat if staying at the Harkness Hotel across the street.

Say you really like food, and you find yourself with hunger pains whilst traveling through McCammon, Idaho. I highly recommend stopping at the Little Rock cafe. Don’t turn away because the exterior looks like someone’s trying to hide a biker bar with white wash, nor because the interior theme seems to be “ camo or jammies welcome”. The American diner food is well worth the reasonable prices. The secret is they make their own breads. From their burger buns, to their sandwich bread, rolls, or head sized cinnamon rolls, it’s all fresh and warm. The service is very nice. We got everything as we asked for it first time. The people who work here, as well as the other customers are good for a conversation or to share a laugh. Enjoy!

I have lived in this community for years and this Lockyer guy comes in a gossips every morning. Yesterday I overheard him spreading rumors that the owner Barbara Guthrie of short stop next door sells beef that is not USDA inspected. This guy should be kicked out of this nice café. He really ruined my appetite.

The quality of coffee brewing needs some work, but otherwise the breakfast cooking is okay. If anyone has a good deal on a used backhoe for sale, please let my husband know, we need to do some improvements on our private rodeo arena behind our ranch house at Harkness canyon.

Nice place to grab some eats. Food is consistent. I know what to expect every time I visit. I really don’t like my hamburger buns to be wet (steam, heat, hamburger juice, etc.) though. I was at 5 stars, but too often there aren’t cinnamon rolls ready to go.

We stopped in here for a quick lunch heading back to Salt Lake City. It was after lunch on a Wednesday, so it was kinda dead, but the quality of service and food exceeded well beyond expectations. Honestly, it was like my grandma's cooking. Just about everything was homemade and it was all made with exceptional care. The prices are fair and the service was divine. It is truly down home cookin'.

Travelers beware!!. Me and my husband stopped by this place for a quick lunch. Hamburger tastes sour and had a rich grassy smell to it. Must have bought the ground meat processed at Short Stop next door. The great reviews don't lie. We did early dinner on a Saturday and even though prime rib doesn't start until 4 we asked at 3:20 and they let us order it anyway. And we weren't disappointed. From the fantastic homemade rolls, hand-cut fries and incredibly tender and flavorful prime rib we couldn't leave a single bite on the plate. Who would have thought you'd get such good, fresh food in Mcammon. This one is now on our "passing through" list so we'll be back.

A friendly cafe This is a typical cafe in a tiny town. The food was decent and the service was friendly. I had the fish and chips and it was nice and my partner had a burger. Portions were decent and the price was around 20 bucks.
