Here you will see all the opinions of people like you who have information of the services of Lisa Peterson Catering/ A\'tavola (Coffee Shop) near Idaho.
Right now the firm has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 248 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is almost the best one, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the valuation is very faithful. If many people have bothered to value when they are pleased, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to give tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Coffee Shop is classified in the category of Cafe.
Lovely place.. great food.. sweet.
Go check out A'Tavola for yourself! Don't let anyone (or any review) talk you out of it. The food they make is unique and delicious (I highly recommend the Ketchup Potato Salad) and the staff's good energy is contagious!
Expensive, $2.59 for drip coffee.
Had to visit Boise to talk to an attorney and didn't have coffee or breakfast. So a fresh scone and Chai tea did it.
I wanted to like this place, but it just didn't seem worth the $10 sandwich and the $12 salad. It was a good ham sandwich, but not THAT good. I'll be at Bluebird getting the real thing if I'm spending that much.
Very very slow service
Wonderful place for breakfast and lunch. All kinds of prepared food items and bakery goods available as well. Service is prompt and friendly with a large dining patio outside. It's also a market with food speciality products such as sauces, utensils, and cookbooks for purchase.
Beautifully done. Nice job Peterson's
Too pricey!
Not exactly vegan friendly, however they do have some nice salads and sides. My friend ordered a turkey sandwich and went on and on how good it was. Prices are steep, two sides, a sandwich and one drink cost $24.
I loved it ❤️
Great place to get catering for any event. The owner is a great lady. She is amazing at answering questions. Lisa is great at making suggestions that will work for your event. Perfect place to get lunch and a perfect cup of coffee.
Great variety of food. I haven't had anything that wasn't good.
Love this place. High ceiling, good food, reasonable prices, fast service. Fresh. Lots of little food items to buy also, but these are. expensive.
Yummy with an unpretentious gourmet vibe. Located in a former auto repair shop in the Linen District. Order at the counter or grab something for later out of the frig. Wines and beers offered. A coffee bar and a food and gift area are icing on the cake. Speaking of cake and the like...a real treat.
Love this darling gift shop, deli and coffee shop.
One of my favorite places and inspiration!
Interesting blend of kitsch and amazing salad options.
Always good quality
I've had a few good lunches here - good quality food and prices reasonable. Beware of their mark-ups on some products including water. Nothing like $2.00 for a can of LaCroix. Poor response from the manager when I inquired politely about her 500% margin on that product. I'll think twice about going back.
My last review was in 2013. Frankly, A Tavola is my go-to for breakfast. There's lots of breakfast joints in Boise. Goldies is awesome too. BUT. A Tavola is the only breakfast in Boise where I don't feel a little sick after eating. Which is my own fault --if eggs Benedict is on the menu, I'll order it. And I'll always feel a little queasy and bloated after. Lisa Peterson's A Tavola kitchen puts out healthy, nuanced and delicious fare and it isn't particularly heavy, its just the best breakfast FOR ME. It is always excellent; the side fruit that garnishes any plate is ALWAYS attractive and edible, it is NEVER limp or marginal in appearance. That says something. And, it is also a delicatessen, with awesome stuff, very continental and full of odd kitchen accoutrements, gifts, sauces and condiments ... cheeses and chocolates, crackers and breadsticks ... curios and knick-knacks ... The bakery? --fabulous as well. And it is ALL well presented. I toast Lisa's good health daily. She is an awesome person as well, she has been kind to me, personally. There. That's my review. Best breakfast FOR ME in Boise, and lots of other folk too .....
The food and atmosphere are fantastic.
Locally owned, fantastically resourced with unique finds, food and style
Treasure ValleyDelicious sandwiches
My Go-To place for lunch, take-out, and catering large or small events....an awesome menu and delightful, customer-service employees.
Got to love the breakfast panini
Been here a couple times for lunch after not getting around to visiting forever. I work right around the corner, but would always forget about this place since they close early in the day. Glad I finally went in. Food is prepared with care and always fresh. Kinda fancy, boutique style little shop with interesting treats and food related products. Cookies are big and soft and they have lots of choices for salads and ready made foods in the deli case. Definitely worth taking the time to check this place out.
Never over-crouded! Delicious coffee and goodies! Best place to study in town!
Good food just a little on the pricy side
Very nice selection of food, friendly service in a convenient location. Recommended.
always Amazing.
Fun casual place
They usually close early and are not open on Sundays. The cafe is really delicous, large portions, $$ slightly spendy.
Excellent breakfast and lunch. Wonderful take out for office events too.
Well appointed Eatery and giftshop!
Fun place for lunch with my daughter.
Great food selection but if A’tavola lowered their high prices for the amount of food you got, I would enjoy the whole experience a lot more.
A lively place to have lunch. The staff are friendly to the point where you think they are having the best day of their life. I have the best bowl of granola ever.
Fresh & delicious
My favorite place in Boise!
Great coffee shop with sweet barristas.
Tres charmant!
Perfect location for a Christmas party. For and staff were amazing
Pretty good sandwiches. Had the meatloaf and cajun turkey. Liberal on the mayo! Big portion. Store has a variety of products and handcrafted treats.
Great food with generous portions
Great service and awesome atmosphere! Food was also delicious. I will definitely be back!
Unique experience food and store! Tasty food offerings, friendly staff.
Fast tasty treats.
Curried chicken salad sandwich is the best! I’m going back to try something else next time
The food here is delicious. The gift area is fun and has unique gift ideas.
Not enough seating. We ended up leaving :( love the food
A'Tavola has a really inviting Southern European countryside appeal. The store is broken up into two main areas, one for food and one for coffee, so if you're just coming in for a cup of Joe you can be in and out quickly. That might feel strange for you if it's your first time in and you're dining though. Their 'deli' cases, where you place your food orders, have a truly mouth-watering selection of items. It was hard to resist the pull of the french toast while we were standing in line to place our brunch orders. Speaking of which, I ordered one if their scrambles with mushrooms and spinach, typically a run of the mill menu item, but this one at A'Tavola was excellent. The quality of the ingredients was clear and the love for cooking was obvious in everything around us.
Super friendly people and yummy food.
Great food, talented staff and freindly atmosphere.
Love the choices. Be careful on the gluten free. Love the culinary accessories especially at the holidays
GREAT lunch spot. Delicious salads.
They brew a strong cuppa' coffee and the food is soooo good.
Great little bistro and gift shop.
Tamar is amazing!!! Great food for the foodie who is tired of the status quo. Loved it!
Always great choices and great food.n
Luv, luv, luv. My go to in Boise. Always lively, always fresh, and the staff...rocks. steller customer service...everytime. JUST GO!
This is a wonderful bistro-class establishment. The food is outstanding, and custom-made. Staff is warm and gracious. I just love this place!
Good coffee...great location
We have Breakfast every Saturday after market. The meals are always hot & taste great.
Everything thing is amazing at Atravola- the food, the people, the shopping. One of my favorite places in Boise
Very impressive and delicious food. I am even considering having A'Tavola cater my wedding next year. I will definitely be back.
Good food
Good drinks and great place to visit with friends.
The food is good, nice clean interior. We got a sandwich, quiche and two coffees. About $24- not sure the price is worth what we got. Popular with the locals, has a feeling of catering to upper class house wives. Interesting for the Boise area.
Delicious, my girls took me here and it was great.
First time here and I was highly impressed! I was suggested to get the Turkey sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time, very fresh, tasty and filling! I will definitely be coming back!
Lovely place with lovely food. And we enjoyed shopping their selection of specialty food we can give for gifts or enjoy at home. Very pleasant atmosphere and crew. We'll be back!!
The food is excellent, the relaxed ambiance is nice and the prices are reasonable. The chef is a well established gem and the restaurant is loaded with goodies. You can’t go wrong here.
Have great cup of coffee, a pastry & shop for unique gifts here. Or have a fabulous lunch and plan a trip to Italy!
Beautiful spot to dine in.. This deli/bistro is a delight!! So many tasty options to choose from. The patio is beautiful as well.
I love the salad selection and the gifts at this uniquely boutique,!
First time visited. Pleasant, quiet, helpful staff and adequate seating . Ample free parking. Was pleasantly surprised by the portion size for the price. They offer a gluten free option for those with celiac. Will definitely return.
Something for everyone! Delicious and fresh
Great place! Amazing food and service!! Fast WiFi!
Expensive!
A place to eat close to the homeless
Fast and friendly service. My first time here and the basil soup was amazing....
We went for Saturday brunch. The breakfast sandwich was excellent, I haven't had brioche in a while. I would highly recommend brunch here or lunch really any day of the week
The best, freshest, tastiest food in Boise!!
My first visit! Loved it
Perfect for a ladies' lunch!
Love their food, terrific atmosphere!
Good concept but mediocre execution. The cookies looked good, should have tried but had just been to fab Janjou and already bought sweets. The red Chile enchilada tasted too much of tortilla not enough cheese or sauce although amount of chicken was generous. The quiche was not good, the frozen ones at Whole Foods far superior. Also place is let down by the mostly clueless staff. The po-faced young female that “helped” me did not know much about anything she was selling and gave the impression that she would rather be anywhere else.
Very good just super spendy.
Fabulous food, service and decor with a European flair!
First time visit and we had a terrific traditio al breakfast and salmon cakes. Very friendly and attentive staff.
I would go here every day of the week if I could. Consistently 5 stars!!!
Great espresso, friendly staff and awesome merchandise
Super friendly staff, cute store front, great outdoor seating and yummy food! Also loved the Ava Maria statues!
Absolutely delicious and cozy "boutique" like restaurant. White washed rustic appeal with great food in large quantity for a reasonable price.
A Tavola is a very interesting breakfast nook on the edge of downtown Boise. Translating from the Italian, A Tavola means at the table. The menu is varied and tasty. Their basic breakfast is my favorite but the downside is that the eggs only come scrambled...
Fun and unique twists on classic dishes and the staff are all wonderful and friendly! Their selection of gift items and kitchen supplies are great as well. :)
This is a great coffee/ lunch/ bakery / hangout place. Really good food with a great selection. Outdoor seating when it’s warm. Highly recommended.
Great atmosphere. Superb food with a handful of original bakery and brunch selections. Interesting little collection pantry/snack/chocolate/food/personal hygiene goodies and books for sale. Casual atmosphere with inside and outside seating. I'm not in Idaho very often but will definitely plan to stop in again if I'm ever back, and will also recommend to others!
The chicken curry salad sandwich was delicious. Good coffee. However, the creme brulee cheesecake...not worth the calories. The lunches are always good.
Very attentive to detail
Nice patio area for warmer weather dining. Cute location in linen district. Deli selection is impressive
I love this place
A nice light breakfast in a cafe crossed with a sit-down restaurant. Everything was great and seemed to be made in house. Its a good way to start the day but at the cost of taking a chip out of your wallet.
Good food, salads, sandwiches and lunch entrees. Nice cooking oriented store, and a dessert case. Lots of outside seating, garage doors for nice days to give the outdoor seating experience inside. A pleasant place for brunch and lunch.
I really enjoy A'Tavola.
One of the best places for lunch. Husband and I are repeat visitors for Brisket Frenchie. Such a satisfying sandwich. Delicious! And, then the desserts, cake and bars and cookies. Makes my day!
Lovely interior with lots of books, food stuffs, a nice little coffee bar and an excellent menu. It's never too crowded and has both indoor and outdoor seating.
Fantastic place to grab lunch. Lots of different salad choices as well as both cold & hot sandwiches. Good grab & go option too for your picnic or Shakespeare dinner. Can be a little loud when busy but not a deal breaker by any means.
Trendy, excellent bistro with fantastic food. A great place to stop while exploring downtown.
We are addicted to your sandwiches! Thank you for having the most fabulous food to fill our hungry bellies. XO Educational Outfitters Staff
Was a very busy place at noon, but ordered and had lunch in no time! Shared a great sandwich. Ya got to try it! You'll be back again & again! Yummmmm
As a first time customer, I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the variety of lunch options. The environment was cozy yet not crowded - just right for me. Pleasant atmosphere and surroundings.
Delicious food. Unique gifts.
Cool hang out but it's a little bit confusing about the coffee on one side and the food on the other.
Cool atmosphere
What a great place to eat, have a latté and gather with friends! Inside or outside
The food is amazing and so is the environment
Beautiful shop with great fun items throughout and yummy drinks
Very good food and good variety. I had their Jalapeno potato salad, it was good but not my favorite. I also had their chicken enchiladas. It was very good! We sat outside, they have very nice indoor and outdoor seating. This place also has a bakery/coffee area and a beautiful gift shop.
Always delicious!
We've had coffee there every weekend for 2 years for a reason. Awesome people, vibe, and of course coffee & treats.
Fun stuff from cool places
Great place!
Beautiful cafe, delicious food, and an interesting gift selection. A'Tavola is perfect inside for an intimate breakfast or a group meeting, while the outside patio is lovely in the warmer months to slowly welcome the morning.
Great lunch with great friends!
This is my favorite breakfast place in Boise. I love the atmosphere. My very favorite is the Quiche Lorraine with a side of fruit. I get lost in the little store, with so many fun/quality items, it is hard to choose what I want to buy!
First time there - got the three salad sampler on a recommendation, and couldn't be happier. The service was quick and good, and we sat outside and ate at one of the many tables there. Everything I got was delicious (pesto pasta salad, chicken avocado salad), and there were plenty more options just in the salads that looked amazing. Highly recommended. Close to downtown but not too close that parking was an issue.
Best sandwiches and coffee is delicious. Expensive stuff tho.
Atmosphere and some of the best cooking in the city
First time eating here and the sandwich wasn't bad, but the sides didn't taste much better than Albertson's deli fare. Service was so, so...not great for the prices. Would have given it a second chance, but headed out to my car in their parking lot only to have their sprinklers dousing my car and all the others in the middle of the day in the heat. Now, my car has hard water buildup all over the hood and will take a professional detailer to remove. They gained and lost a customer today.
Great for a quick lunch of prepared foods and nicely created drinks. Everything is made in-house.
It's a beautiful little shopping experience. With food and nick nacks aplenty.
The food here is amazing. The staff is amazing. We felt welcomed. The environment is amazing. Love this place, 5/5! One of Boise's best
Great food and specialty items.
Time to relax and eat
Tried breakfast here a few days ago. Bright spotlights aimed at shiny metal tables make it hard on the eyes. A decent number of breakfast selections but everything has cheese in it. A lot of cheese. Not sure when this became a trend but it's discouraging when you are trying to limit dairy and still enjoy egg dishes.
Great spot, wonderful food and service, perfect patio
Daily lunch special was so delicious. Love the beet salad
Elegant, sunny, great place to sit and relax. Yummy tea.
Always a pleasure to spoil myself here. Best deli selection and gift shop ever.
Unique atmosphere, food, flavors!!! Tremendous!!!!!
This little market has everything you'd want. The coffee is really good and the deli selection is great with many salad, soup, and sandwich options.
I love everything about this place!
There's no better quiche in town, and the salads and desserts are wonderful! I could eat here every day!
Fun atmosphere. Great food.
Wonderful snacks and people.
