You will be able to see the reviews of real people like you who are consuming the services of Ennis sunrise cafe (Coffee Shop) in the state of Idaho.
Right now the firm receives a score of 4.3 over 5 and that score has been calculated on 215 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is quite positive, and it is founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may be quite sure that the rating is quite credible. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Coffee Shop is included in the category of Cafe.
Loved the breakfast here when passing through town. I was there on a busy Sunday and they were slammed. Even though they were busy and a bit understaffed, the waitress did all she could to attend to us and get us our food quickly. The eggs were delicious, and I'd def get the French Toast again :)
The food was Delicious. Service was Awsome. Anne and Randall. TN.
Their breakfasts were EXCELLENT, and are by far the best we've come across while exploring many of the the western towns over the past three summers. The dining room is decorated with cool western pictures and items, and the historic building was in easy walking distance from where we stayed. The homemade jam is delicious!
Great service. A little wait for breakfast but it's worth it!
Great comfort food on a long trip
Great breakfast
The slowest place I have ever been to
Very nice place for breakfast, very friendly staff.
Basic diner food prepared hot and fresh.
Tasty and well-priced. Bacon was crisp but not over-cooked. Note that winter hours are shorter than summer hours.
We had breakfast and the food was very good...complements to the cook. The waitress was a bit cold and not the least bit friendly. Asked the table next to us if they wanted more coffee, but walked right by my empty cup. I had to ask.
Super good food. Loved it
Great pancakes, eggs and sausage. Wonderful atmosphere. Friend my staff.
We stopped in for breakfast before a fishing trip in Ashton. The food was fantastic. Portions were generous and the service was friendly.
Great experience here all around, the food was great and the service was awesome. Only thing I would change is the coffee, not very fresh or very tasty. Would still come back here whenever we're in town!!
They were very nice. The food came fast. It's good quality food and a lot of food for a good price!:)
Yuck on steak fingers and onion rings.
Has returned to a diner type menu, thankfully. Standard diner fare. Restrooms need remodeling and consistent cleaning.
Prices seem reasonable. Foods was good! We were there on 4th of July with a limited menu. I would go back anytime.
Breakfast was biscuits and gravy. And it was fantastic. My kids clean their plates as well, and for a 4 and 7 year old that is great! Everything is clearly fresh and hand made. This place would be a regular place for me and mine If only we lived closer!
Not to great food, cost is plenty, poor service
Wow!!! What a great breakfast jewel! Wonderful service, great French toast, best omelette, awesome bacon and ham! One of the best breakfast places I have been to. You must go.
Great breakfast
Good food. Very nice people. Wandered through on our trip across America and enjoyed visiting with the owners during breakfast.
Great pancakes and coffee, and very friendly service! We loved our meal there!
Food was good, slow service, not enough help
The service was good, the food was great. The prices were fair. Nice place to take your family
Good food and atmosphere
Delicious pie!
I come from china, I want to tell everyone , here is good vrey well.
A surprise in the middle of no where. So glad to have come across this place on our travels. Friendly people. Food is amazingly good at such reasonable prices. Did a road trip from Phoenix to Yellowstone; by far the best food we came acrossed.
Delicious food! Brilliant service!
What a great find.. Best Hashbrowns Ive ever had!! Everything made from scratch & the Idaho Omelet was amazing! Great atmosphere & The owner & his wife were so much fun! We will definatly be back!
So good! Friendly, great food, and perfect on our way down from Yellowstone.
Great good, service and decent prices
Great food and staff
A must stop place on your way to Yellowstone. Very cheap and very good food.
We had the privilege of eating breakfast here on memorial day. The owner of the restaurant was our server and was very sweet, kind, and attentive. She was observant enough to realize that I was wearing my Army unit's sweatshirt, she thanked me for my service, and gave me a discount on my meal. On to the food. I could rave about her delicious cinnamon rolls all day long. They were the best I have ever had. All hand made by the owner. My eggs benedict were made just right, and my mom's biscuits and gravy were the most flavourful I have had in a long time. It you are ever in Ennis, MT I would highly recommend eating at this small town cafe. It might not look like much, but the food and people are great!
Great people. Great food. Ought to hold me over til I reach SLC.
Wow, huge portions with great flavor
Best food and prices ever! AMAZING PLACE!
Waited nearly an hour for breakfast. When I inquired about our order the waitress was rude and indifferent offering a variety of excuses. She also questioned my estimation of what time. Unbelievable!! She then went to another waitress and leaned over gesturing at our table and talking out of the side of her mouth. The other waitress then looked at us, shook her head, made a face and rolled her eyes!! While the food was good (appeared to have sat a while) the over all experience in this establishment was a total disappointment. Can’t believe you stay in business with this kind of help. I guess “good” help is hard to find.
Friendly staff and quick service. Typical diner food, but nothing special. The pies however were great!
The place to eat in Ennis. So good!
2 hours from the time we sat down till we got our food when the first person got their food and the last. There's the first one was finished eating way too slow
Stopped here on our way through. Very happy with the food. They have a great menu. Greek Gyro sandwich, Hog wings, all really good.
Poor service, food wasn't that great.
Service was great as was our meals very pleasant atmosphere.not crowded middle of the week. Will definitely return in the future.
Very very great food, I've enjoyed a nice late breakfast. However, waiting 40 minutes for them to fry 2 eggs and 3 strips of bacon is unacceptable. Don't come if you're in a rush.
Went to see family and stopped for lunch,,great buffalo burgers. Will make the trip from Chattanooga Tn again and will eat there again. Nice town to shop in also
Was closed for 2018 end of Sept, but was great in 2017!
Great staff and amazing food! Price is reasonable and service is fast.
Very good. Would definitely eat there again!!.
Delicious food, great prices, friendly helpful staff!
Love everything service, food and price. Only thing I don't like is it's too far from Detroit
The service here was great and the food was good. They serve large portions and its definitely a good value for your money.
Driving through town and stopped in for breakfast. Had to leave our trailer outside with our cows we were transporting. We let the waitress know. Took 25 minutes before she came to get our order. Then we waited AN HOUR before they brought our food. When we tried to ask about it we just got attitude from the other waitress. We watched as other tables just walked out after waiting forever. If your in any kind of a rush or timeframe to get out before your next birthday, or if your looking for food worth any kind of a wait- DONT eat here.
So glad to find this gem as we were driving from Yellowstone. Excellent coffee and fresh food. The hash browns with onion, mushrooms and cheddar cheese were the BESTEVER!!! All of this with friendly caring service.
Highly recommend. Little "hole in the wall" diner that you see on the way to Yellowstone off the highway. We decided to stop and have breakfast there, and it was the best decision of the trip! So good, we ate there both mornings we were in town. Will definitely be a stop any time we're in the area. Great staff, amazing eggs and sausage and bacon and french toast. Good coffee too!
Great food! Friendly staff!!
Nice Breakfast
Very tasty homecooked meals. Lovely, clean and homey atmosphere. Pleasant service. Huge portions. I had the ham steak and it was about a half inch thick and took up about half of a large size plate. The sausage pattie appeared to be homemade and was also very thick and ample. Overall, I would highly recommend this establishment if you want a quality dining experience.
Nice stop for lunch in a quaint town.
Good breakfast, friendly service!
Great food, friendly service.
Delicious breakfast location and very reasonable prices! Comfortable and large dining rooms; great 'homestyle' cooking. The best pancakes I've had in ages!
The food was awesome, the waitress not so much I never saw her smile or greet anybody with a hello how are you today. She was an older woman she acted like she was just there to work and really didn't care about her customers!!
So this was my favorite breakfast spot in the area. Everyone in our party had different likes, but all of us found something that we liked. The food was perfectly made and the chef came out to ask us how the food was. We went twice, the first time the service was super fast, but the second day it was slower. Not enough to remove a star. The staff was friendly and they had good coffee which is important.
Great food great location great prices great customer service
The staff are very friendly food is wonderful an good portion very clean price reasonable, excellent.
It's a small town place. Nothing outstanding, nothing horrible. The deep fries bacon wrapped hotdog was interesting, but overrated.
Good, hot breakfast. Friendly, efficient service.
Very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is good and the portions are big.
Good Food!
I miss THE PIE LADY and her great pies, esp. the rhubarb /strawberry. PEOPLE ( LOCALS AND VISITORS) would come from miles around to have her great pies. The cafe was all about Pie! They would turn around TEMPTINGLY In that old glass dessert rotisserie; the GLASS PIE PALACE. Now, you're lucky if you can get a piece of pie in there. I'm glad the new people are making it a lovely place And please bring back the pies. Sincerely
Excellent and prompt service provided to a large bus load of tourists! Great hospitality.
Friendly. Good food. Good prices.
Food is reasonably good as any decent roadside cafe would be. Things a little slow, only because it seems to be understaffed, but the waitress was super nice
Amazing service , excellent food and large portions. So carin and helpful on all levels. On our way back again this morning
Food was good but the service was not. Took 40 minutes for our order to be taken. Order Mac n cheese with chicken nuggets for D and the man n Chez was cold. Didn't ask them to warm it up because it had already taken so long. Not too sure I will come back here.
The prime rib was delish. Service a bit slow.
Wouldn't let my service dog in. I'm a disabled vet with a Labrador service dog. The server was very rude about it.
The portions are huge. The food is delicious. The coffee is wonderful. Affordable!
Great food.
Good portions, tasty and home cooked from scratch. Service was friendly and if I'm passing by again I'll definitely stop for lunch or breakfast
Friendly staff, cold coffee, dry toast and yummy bacon.
Basic ok food.
Great place
This is a great cafe and very nice people. Real food..
The food was amazing their crapes are to die for. The service was a little slow but it is one of there busy days! Thanks for the great service and food!
Ennis sunrise cafe is always good good food great customer service and generally easy to get seated well the pharmacy Cafe of the street is usually a long lines during the busy season and weekends. I always make sure that I stopped in here for breakfast every time I'm in Ennis
Awesome
Good basic food. Comfortable and historic.
Great place to eat on your travels to West Yellowstone, Great Food, Good Home Cooking
This was a very happy surprise found one morning outside Yellowstone National Park on a trans-continental trip. Unassuming place.Home cooked breakfast of eggs, bacon, and potatoes and a pancake. Cake was thick, chewy, huge, fresh. The eggs were local farm fresh, the bacon too, with a great peppery smoky baconness. Mugs of coffee were huge and good. The server was as polite and cheerful as they come, without overbearing. Only open for breakfast and brunch-- closes at 2pm I think. Plus, they charge way too little for their food. Tip big folks, to keep them going!
Anybody traveling east or west on US20 MUST MUST stop here!! Incredible food & hospitality!! Absolutely the best breakfast & lunch we have every eaten!!
Great service and there Greek omelette is to die for.
Quaint little cafe in the center of town...good home cooking!
Food was excellent! Service was great. I highly recommend them. Best breakfast we had on our vacation.
Super friendly, thank you!
Stopped in for breakfast and don't plan to return. Eggs were grossly overcooked and service was slow. Waitress didn't return to our table to check coffee refills until we had eaten our breakfast. The pies in the showcase also appeared to be overcooked.
The food is amazing. Huge plates . amazing staff
Excellent food. Staff was friendly. Biggest ham steak I have ever seen.
I love this place. All the food we order was amazing
Good grub
BEST homemade breakfast our family has ever had. Great customer service. We will be stopping there everytime we pass through.
Had a better experience then expected. If you are hungry and in this area give this place a try. The food is great, the customer service is great, the wait time to be served is reasonable and the atmosphere is of a dinner feel. I recommend this place will be a returning customer.
I absolutely love the food here!!!! Everything is cooked to perfection with wholesome real ingredients! The service is outstanding and their performance is always awesome!!! My favorite for breakfast for sure!! Lucky for me I love right behind the restaurant!!!
We came here a few times while living in Idaho and have very fond memories of eating here. The service was always friendly and the food was great every time. Coffee is delicious, and that means a lot coming from my husband. We miss the sunrise cafe and hope to be able to return one day! Love being able to sit outside, so perfect during those idaho summers
Home style food. Nice friendly staff.
Great breakfast and service home style
Slow inattentive service though not that busy... generous portions and tasty meal but... watched my server hacking/coughing into her hand and promptly butter my toast - I didn’t eat it. The counter tops were quite greasy and sticky.
Good breakfast place! We stopped here on our way to yellow stone national park! Everything is fresh and fast service. Friendly staff.
The best crepes I’ve had that I didn’t cook ! Yummmm and the steakneggs were great as well cooked perfectly. The chef even came out to check on us to be sure he cooked them just the way we wanted. The country gravy was just the way I like it as well . These service was fast and friendly. Our waitress was so nice !
Best onion rings I have ever had in my life. And that's a lot of onion rings. The rest of the food was good.
We had an excellent lunch. Especially from meeting with the owners. We'll have to see how the new owners handle the place.
Food was very good and the strawberry pie was a great as always.
Had a great turkey melt here!! Yum!
Sausages too salty but makes y full. You can pick half of the dishes which is so cool ! Refill coffee and refill all drinks is so cool ! Best for breakfast and lunch.
Love this place! Lovely people here, great breakfast.
Good food & hot coffee!!
My husband and I went in and they would not allow my husbands' service dog in. They threatened to call the police. My husband is a disabled veteran and has a service dog for a reason. The 2 waitresses were very rude as soon as we walked in. They and their owner need to look up the Americans with Disabilities act because they are allowed to ask what services he provides but not an ID or what the persons disability is. They could be charged for not letting a service dog in.
The waitresses were very nice and the food was great and it didn't take long to be served.
Breakfast was very good. Great omelette. Fast and friendly service.
Very good and hot breakfast! I loved the flavor of the omelette.
One of the greatest breakfast places I've been to. Super friendly staff and giant proportions. Would be here every day if I could.
Good home cooked meals.
Fabulous Ennis eatery. Friendliest staff you could hope for. A Must Visit Restaurant!
I really like the history of the cafe and buildings, they're the old Western cowboy style. Our server was very nice, but the food was just ok
Food was good but the service was terrible.
Best biscuits ever! Be patient after ordering, each plate is made to order. This is not a fast food joint! Ample portions, friendly service and reasonably priced.
The food was very
Great food you won't go away hungry definitely will eat there again
Quick food, lovely staff, and comfy environment. Exactly what you would imagine for a small town café. We stop here anytime we pass through!
Good place to eat.
Waited an hour and 20 minutes and no food, no coffee refills, no waitress checking on us. They were cooking 1 egg at a time in the kitchen??? They had 2 large parties but didn't inform us until we complained after 1 hour 10 minutes??? We left coffee money and walked out after they promised us food in 5 minutes and didn't delivery.
Great food very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Great cook also no matter what you order it’s great.
This food was delicious! The plates are huge, you could definitely share plates. The bacon was huge and thick and delicious!
Best breakfast in my 76 years!
Horrible. I am all about supporting local businesses but there was nothing homemade in any of the food ordered. The waitress couldn't even tell us where the cafe received their meat from. We decided to order anyway to give them a chance and when the food came out neither one of my children nor my husband or myself could eat the pre-made processed boxed food. We actually witnessed another customer take two bites of his food, get up and pay the check because it was not a decent meal. Shortly after, we left and as I got up to pay with cash the waitress said she couldn't accept such a large bill because she had already cashed a large bill and asked for a different form of payment. I didn't have my wallet on me and I told her I only have cash or personal check. She then opened the til and clearly had enough money to make change she just didn't want to. I would never recommend this place. I would suggest another spot in Ennis to grab a bite.
An unassuming roadside cafe that's filled with friendly faces and delicious food. A perfect place to stop after a long day of fishing.
Loved it. Darlene is a sweetie. Go in the summer for awesome strawberry pie.
Excellent breakfast and a comfortable establishment with consistent prompt courteous service .
Good breakfast!
Great breakfast
Mother's Day breakfast was awesome!! Prime Rib omelet! Big portions. Only opened for breakfast & lunch. They are seasonal. My favorite place to eat when visiting my best friend in Ashton.
Food was marginal. Potatoes stale, omelet tasteless with canned mushrooms, burger tiny. Will not go back.
Great breakfast and friendly staff.
