Very good food at very reasonable prices, excellent service too. Interesting daily specials. I've never left feeling hungry. A good place to meet friends and hang out whilst enjoying the chow. My only gripe is the coffee, which is weak. You can weaken strong coffee but you can't boost weak coffee. So, I don't order coffee and still enjoy a great meal!

Practically the only place we go to for breakfast. The food is superb. I should mention I always get the same thing, because it is so good. #2. The sausage patty is the best I've ever had. Scrambled eggs, potatoes (cottage fries?) And biscuit are delicious. And the salsa is wonderful. My husband does order different things and he is always pleased. If you go and people are waiting, please wait. It moves fast and you won't be disappointed.

I love the Blue Plate Cafe. From the price to the pancakes, it's one of my favorite breakfast stops. While it's not the place to get top notch coffee, I adore the pancakes with a bit of apricot jam on top. On the savory side, the 2 egg omelettes are a great deal. Keep an eye on the white board that has the daily special on it, some of my favorites have been from there!

I would give five stars but i liked this place so much that i wish they had a new building and were bigger and had had more seating. We went on a Saturday. Everyone was so nice. The food was great and priced well and made quickly. There are so many regular customers. Everybody seems to know everybody there. And the customers that got there after us didn't seem to mind waiting for a seat. We weren't slow. But we didn't feel rushed either. What a nice find.

Amazing! What a tasty breakfast. I ordered the French toast. Also ordered this to split with my kids and normally I have to fight for them to eat. This time I had to fight to keep my own. Lol. It was so good that they ate mine too. I ordered more for myself and my husband ended up eating half of it. Ha! The service was good, and the food was pretty quick. All around it was a great place to be at.

The last four times I've been there i left without even being seated. They are so disorganization. Me and my family of five were unable to be seated do to the extreme disorganization of being bypassed by other courtiers with equally sized number and arrived up to a half hour after we did. This is one of the better privately owned breakfast and lunch places in the greater Coeur d'Alene area. Daily specials and dessert options are clearly written on a white board. The food is always well prepared and the waitstaff is top notch. The home fries are a spectacular addition to any meal and the country fried steak is very good.

One of the best places that I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The service is beyond excellent, the food is always prepared faster than you would expect. They always make it the way you want it rather than how some places just want to give it to you (no pun intended) Their way. Just can’t say enough good things about this place. The Homestyle potatoes are to die for. They use the good bacon not the cheap stuff. The omelettes are heaven and again anyway you want them. Even the condiments are like what you would have at home, Not your typical restaurant Cisco packaged stuff. Now here’s the Best part, I have been eating there for two years almost every week and never had a bad meal or bad service.

The food is fantastic, and cheap. Great chicken fried steak, great potato salad. My only complaint is that they are only open until 1:30, and they do breakfast and lunch separately so you have to be there at the right time if you are in the mood for a burger.

If you're into Ma/Pa typed cooking and atmosphere this is the place for you. Great staff, friendly helpful and Johny on the Spot with service. Food is great, I highly suggest the Frenchy. The portions are perfect, you leave full but don't feel like it's a challenge to finish. Come early, they are a smaller establishment so they fill up quickly but the turn out rate is pretty fast so if you do end up waiting for a seat it usually isn't very long at all. They also do take-out orders.

I love everything I've ever ordered at the Blue Plate. Breakfast & Lunch are both outstanding & more than reasonably priced. Expect a wait at peak times. It may not be fair but I held back the 5th star only because I prefer shredded hash browns to the diced and fried version they serve. (undoubtedly due to limited grill space) Otherwise perfect. Favorites include the Chili Burger, omelets & the oatmeal topped with brown sugar & cinnamon is more than just comforting on a cold winter morning. The oatmeal deserves a mention because I had never b4 felt inclined to order it in any restaurant but their presentation convinced me to give it a try. Not only was I not disappointed, I've gone back for more.

Found this place last year while on a trip to Silverwood. The decor is grandma kitsch, and my grandma had some of the same plates on her walls. Food is great homemade goodness at very reasonable prices. Homemade jam and jelly in mason jars on the table. Eggs, omelets, biscuits & gravy, plus banana pancakes. Haven't tried their pies, but they sound delicious. Friendly, efficient staff. Many regular customers greeted by name while we're here. Can't wait to be back.

the container my coffee creamer was caked in nasty residue like it was being used over and over again without getting washed YUCK. the food was flavorless and seemed old even tho it was very hot when we got it. bacon was good though, hard to go wrong with bacon.

Breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices with friendly service. Be sure to check out the specials board, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The veggie omelette and cowboy burger are two of my favorites. Expect to wait for a table if you're there at peak times, but the wait is worth it.

We got there just as they were switching from breakfast to lunch. They switch between 10:30 and 11. The breakfast is great and the pie selection is great. Only problem is, it's a small place, and you walk out of there smelling like grease and onions. Go early to avoid that.

Went here for breakfast with some friends. First time. I was greeted with breakfast... Well not just breakfast. It was a culinary work of art that was disguised as breakfast. And it tasted fantastic. The waitresses were kind and checked-in consistently and one of them was hilarious and entertaining. Exactly what you need to start your day right. Prices were great as well.
