REVIEWS OF Surfers Coffee IN Hawaii

Great Chai Latte and their Mochi pancake are super good. The Acai bowl was the best that I have. They treat you as family.

Mary O'Connor

Love the coffee here; tastes great and not expensive... (Not Starbuck's prices, anyway). Great vibes and relaxed atmosphere. I've taken friends and visitors here and they've all been impressed. Acai bowl is great. Get extra banana with mac nuts! Yum.

eabsurfs808

Nice spot to grab coffee.

William Jordan

This place is bringing charm back to this area. The coffee is flavorful, the service is nice, and the mochi waffles.... They could only sell these waffles and nothing else and I would still go. The inside has plenty of leather bound chairs as well as tables with wooden chairs. There is parking in back. Great place to stop in the morning heading to or leaving the North Shore.

AB K

Nice chill spot with a great vibe. Free internet and lots of power plugs to charge your devices.

Bryan Switalski

One of my favorite coffee shops on the island

Imo F

Amazing coffee and fresh bagels! Definitely recommend this place if you’re driving through.

Danny Cunningham

Very reasonable prices, coffee is great as food is good!

Amson Willi

They don’t burn the beans man. That’s what matters. THE BEANS!!!!!!

Tikki Gotz

Great atmosphere soft chairs to relax in like the old days plus the coffee is strong

Jessica Benavente

Actually has decent coffee! Hard to find, especially up here!

Naomi Barrett

This is mine and my husband's favorite coffee shop on the island. Their coffee is delicious and they have many fun latte options. Try the Iced Wahiawa Mocha for a chocolatey pineapple espresso drink. They also have a variety of pastries, acai bowls, and mochi waffles. Personally, I love that they sell gluten free options from Aloha Pu'uwai Bakery. It's a fun environment and the people that work there make sure to get to know their regulars.

So far, this is the best coffee I’ve found on the island. Very chill spot I found to write one day. Looking forward to finding my way back soon.

Tiffany Wright

Great space and tasty treats! It’s not often you find a coffee shop with 3 varieties of chai tea on the menu! I noticed a drum set in the corner and was told they have live music on Friday evenings! Lots of comfy seats and tables- not a tightly crammed spot. Atmosphere is amazing!

Chris Stover

Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and in a town that desperately needs it. Cheers!

Brett Erickson

Great coffee with a chill atmosphere. My friends tell me their live poetry and music is good as well.

Maria Glidden

Yummy coffee, super chill vibe and lots of outlets. Great place to hunker down and work.

Steve Field

Latte was ok. Nothing to write home about. Nice atmosphere and pleasant folks though. Went here once, but didn't find the need to repeat.

Paul Gundlach

A very large space with many comfortable chairs and small tables, great vegetarian food, with a band stand for weekend music the in place for millennials, their mochi waffles, acai bowls and smoothies are very popular and they have highchairs for children.

Steve Cross

Great place to study or work remotely, with decent coffee and WiFi. Food options are extremely limited, and they close at 2:00pm. Closed on Mondays.

Brenda Macon

Acai bowl....sooo good!

Kehau B

Great vibe! Down to earth kind of place. Parking isn't so great but totally worth the wait. Their coffee is great and love their carrot cake. They usually have a band in at night, more and likely to be on the weekends. Great staff! Everyone seriously acts like family. Loove it!

Orion Argo

Good coffee and social space, competitively priced and attentive service. If you want to sit, relax, and drink some coffee while catching up with friends or a good book, this is the place to do it. Parking kinda difficult but managable if you circle the block and park behind.

Nick Church

If you’re looking for a fantastic coffee experience while out in Oahu, then Surfers is a must! The staff was extremely friendly and the service exceptional. The whole place has such a great atmosphere, it’d be easy to spend a day just hanging out. Not to mention the actual coffee itself... is amazing! I had one of their signature lattes (Iced Wahiawā Mocha) and a in house pastries (pineapple upside muffin), man-oh-man was it good! Great espresso, rich taste and full of flavor! On top of all that, this place is completely non-profit and all their proceeds go back to local and global causes! Such a great idea and what a fantastic way to bring the community together!

Isaiah Drapinski

Great atmosphere with good coffee.

Rheanne Ragasa

Really friendly

Raymond Alejo

Sorry but the Americano was burnt coffee and the iced green tea lacked any ice. The place has a weird vibe to it and i wont go back there.

Jerald Lee

Love this place. Best coffee and acai bowls I've ever had.

Eleventh Doc

Very good food and coffee. Very relaxing and a great place to focus. Staff was very friendly.

Neomi Tregilgas

Love you guys

Jordan Loya

Been trying out Açaí bowls and coffee around the island since I got here and this place is so far my FAVORITE! Tried the Iced Wahiawa Mocha (DELICIOUS) and the prices are very reasonable...for my coffee and açaí bowl with added toppings it was still under $13!! Staff is super friendly, atmosphere is great, plus it’s a non-profit.

Terry Cuozzo

Great cup of coffee. Warm atmosphere.

Jessica Franco

I mean the vibe is GREAT. Super cool place to chill or do homework. Menu was pretty good as well, have little bit of food. Staff was very friendly! Live music certain days. But the coffee, pretty sub par compared to the other coffee shops out there. Had a hot coconut mocha and an iced white chocolate mocha with coconut. Again just sub par, maybe other friends is are good, I’d say try it out!!

Keikilani Ancheta

Chill place to reconnect thoughts and energize your mind for the rest of the day to come!

Micheal Sustaita

Try the coffee with pineapple! So good!

Chrystien Southwick

Gosh where do i begin! The acai bowl, yes ill start there, the best acai bowl i have gotten by far! ( definitely add strawberries) not only is it the best, but also cheaper than all of their local competition! Their coffee is so very good as well! Better than starbucks! Oh also should add, CHEAPER!! Oh man their muffins are also so very good! Definitely make an effort to stop here if you are near by, or if you on the other side of the island ( any of them) they are worth it!!

Tyler C

Great little coffee shop with cool atmosphere. Parking is terrible though.

Kaden Silvers

Best coffee shop on island..... hands down

AFRO NINJA

NICE ATMOSPHERE

Alena Eaton

Great chai and acai bowls!

Mike Jeffrey

Stopped here at 9 in the morning; super funky band setting up - very Jackson 5. The singer had 3.5 inch floppies for earrings :) Stumptown coffee (though drip coffee was weak) and very cool space. Skateboard movies on the big projector. Worth checking out.

Marcus McKee

One of the rare gem coffee shops of Oahu. Superb pour overs, one of the better acai bowls on the island, and the perfect coffee shop vibe. Not to mention the altruistic motives that this place supports.

zara k-tai

welcome home feeling cafe, antique, surfer decorated design with comfy sofa and chair seating.

Dexter Allen

Great place to meet and great coffee options

Amanda Villarreal

The Iced Chai Lattes are to die for - great ambiance and awesome staff! Can’t wait to try more things here! Such great options, I’ll definitely be back.

Lynne and Matt Berry

Great service, fantastic coffee

Cody Matoon

The staff, all volunteers, are very friendly and helpful. The set-up of the shop itself fantastic and definatley memorable, and the best cold brew around!

Joannie Torio

Great oil coffee shop! Delicious chai tea too.

Robert Gilbert

Amazing and refreshing. Just what my gf and I were looking for to start the morning.

Aaron Ferrell

Swanky coffee joint. They help the local community alot. Way bigger inside that what you see from the outside. Comfortable seating. Awesome staff. Food and coffee is legit. Recommend the mochi waffle!

Brittany Sullivan

Love, love, LOVE this place!!! They are always so kind and make the best coffee!! I love it

Todd Stogdell

Nice and quiet coffee shop.

Andrew Postert

Nice coffee shop with very friendly service. I had a smoothy and it was awesome. Best of all, it helps with a great cause.

Mitchell R

Outstanding brew. I can't reflect on the lattes and frappuccinos because I drink my coffee black, like any other true patriot. This place also has delicious acai bowls.

Kim Klopp

Love this place!

Malachi Maglaya

One of my favorite places to go in Wahiawa. They serve Stumptown. Pastries are alright, espressos are good. Get an Acai Bowl if you didnt get one in Haleiwa.

jackie hadley

Great atmosphere and acai bowls!

Christopher Radke

The acai bowls here are fantastic! Best ones this side of town. Wahiawa is a little sketchy but it adds great local flavor. They also serve pour over coffee which is fantastic. I highly recommend Surfers Coffee Bar.

jj musica

Everything about this cafe is worth coming for!!! Try their chai! White shark hot or iced! Also the tiger spice! Mochi waffles are yummy! Sometimes they forget to put the powdered sugar but its okay just ask for it.

Mohit Paudel

Its a pleasant atmosphere to be in. Definitely somewhere you would want to be. If you come to Oahau definitely come here. Worth your trip.

Rick James! Chatas

Had a great first visit here! The staff are warm and friendly, and they serve Stumptown! I also enjoyed my acai bowl. Great Wi-Fi and wonderful place to work as well!

Noelle Bacon

This coffee shop was definitely one of the high-lights of my trip! They have several gluten free bakery options, and no one else offers anything. Their coffee is absolutely delicious and the employees were so kind! I would give this place 100 stars if I could.

MINISTER EVA CARABALLO

Best place this side of the island...GREAT VIBES!

Alison Ho

Amazing Community Board, bookshelf, vintage photography, and great coffee! Staff is kind as well ☺

Ricardo Friesen

Best coffee and acai bowls!

Cy Sc

This has to be my favorite coffee shop on Oahu, and I have been to over 30. Everything from the vibe, the smiling staff, the super tasty mochi waffles, the delicious perfectly brewed and amazingly affordable coffee, comfy seating, and uplifting live music every Friday night. Surfer's Coffee has it all.

Chae Lee

Waited for a long time for a pour over. They ran out of the coffee I selected. Didn’t inform me until much later. Wasn’t even that busy with 2 staff members behind the counter. No eye contact or smiles from counter service. Very unfriendly. Not welcoming. Poor service. Pastries were dry. People at antique and surf shop next door were much nicer.

Eric G

Great espresso and all the variations on espresso. Great chill vibe. Decorated with a bunch of local surf stuff, but definitely feels more like a Portland coffee shop decorated with local surf stuff. Except not as pretentious. Not much else to say. If it's on your way, or just a few minutes out of your way, it's well worth the stop. Just do it.

Rene

Service was great and had an awesome coffee bar vibe.

Anna Nicole

Awesome coffee and chill environment! Would recommend the wahiawa mocha or elephant chai iced

Alex Young

Chill and comfortable atmosphere for working, studying and meeting up with others! Staff is friendly. A lot of foreign volunteers work here who serve as interns with Surfing the Nations. Have had good experiences with the iced and blended drinks, and hit and miss with hot drinks. However, the atmosphere and setup massively makes up for that. Parking right in front on the street, or in a lot the back behind the building. Atmosphere is generally quiet with a bed of music playing above, but can be loud at moments with the blender, or if the interns and staff are up to something good.

John Maxsween

Incredible selection of coffee and great environment to hang out or do work in. I was on vacation in Oahu for 1.5 weeks and this was hands down my favorite coffee shop of the trip!

Horacio R

The Mochi waffles are a must

Melissa Diaz Realtor at CBPP

LOVE this place, the vibe it has & that they give back to the community! It's what I imagine Starbucks was back when it started & what a coffee shop should be.

Jacob Dunlap

Jesse Cone

Good acai bowls. Nice relaxed atmosphere to hang out in.

Irma San Miguel

Awesome atmosphere great people...my nephews favorite place with a drink with his namesake

Paul Flores

Always a great place to relax with a chai latte and picture perfect mochi waffles!

Jennifer Pittman

This is a cute little local coffee shop. It has live music on Fridays and my drinks are always made well. I only marked it down a star as I wish it was open earlier to get coffee before work and the menu could use some expanding. I wish there were matcha lattes, golden milk turmeric lattes, more smoothie varieties like a greens option, and some Keto bulletproof coffee options.

Christopher Nealon

It's a good change of scenery when your tired of always going to starbucks. But the next day I couldnt wait to get back to starbucks.

Jeremy Buenaventura

Great place to hangout with your friends, enjoy warm beverages and live music during Open Mics! Very friendly Surfing the Nation volunteers that work there!

Chris Jordan

Service was very good. Very knowledgeable staff. I loved the Surf themed decor with pictures from surfing history posted all throughout the shop. Probably the best drip coffee that I have ever had- Stumptown beans all the way! Highly recommended.

Ray Reyes

Great place with a local but not touristy feel. If you're in the neighborhood definitely worth the stop.

Dreah Zarabé

Love this place! Awesome vibe & great menu. They also have cool relaxed seating with a live stage area!

Leo Raabe

Best coffee in Wahiawa. Street parking is limited but there is also a small parking lot in the back. Atmosphere is relaxed. This would be a nice place to take a break from the day or to catch up with an old friend.

Bri B

Just go! There's no place like it.

Kaleb Barrett

Great place with great people for a great purpose.

J Willy

Great shop to stop by in the morning but pretty much any time of the day. Their acai bowls are my favorite plus their moochie waffles are the best I've had on my trip. Certainly going back.

Roy Cabibbo

Jesus this place is good!

Lulu Blessing

Coffee anyone. What a find! A classy, comfortable coffee house in Wahiawa!

Mike McDaniels

The new Coffee Gallery. Fantastic Fresh Roast Coffee, also chai teas! Wonderful surfing decor and memorabilia. Owner needs to work on getting fresher bakery goods. Found them to be crummy. (but the coffee more than made up for it)

Brian Armstrong

The coconut toffee iced latte was good. The decor is laid back and surf themed. Check it out on your way to North shore it's worth the quick detour.

Sydney Ross

Beautiful Women serving great coffee and great breakfast to you, what else could you ask for.....

Jusgo 360

Beautifully decorated and fast wifi. The coffee was roasted just right and made with love.

Great place to visit. Good coffee, friendly staff. They don't cater for meals more snacks and drinks. They have entertainment here too.

Jayson Garcia

A great place with historical character.

Philip Kahn

Wonderful coffee selection, great environment. Was memorable enough in 2016 we made a point to come back in 2019!

Paul Moyer

One of my favourite cafes on the island. One of very few that you can get a proper drink at!

Aaron Jensen

I've been coming here for a two years now. It provides great coffee with better service and clean environment. Surfers coffee is a needle in a haystack.

K Marie Gallagher

Excellent old school coffeehouse vibe with a surfer theme. I stop for coffee here on my way to the North Shore from Honolulu. Lots of bev options, food is a bit more limited. I see people with laptops here a fair amount, so the wifi is probably decent. Interesting community bulletin board by the door.

Mary Jane Revilla

First time here and I have to say that I like it. Coffee tastes great and is cheap. Great relaxing and comfy atmosphere to hang out, do work or homework. Employees there are all volunteers. I would rate them 5 stars if parking wasn't an issue. Street parking is a challenge and back lot parking is limited. I'm glad STN had changed this part of town and made it better. Back in my day, the back area was known for drugs and prostitution. Definitely will go back as long as parking is available.

David Smock

Cool people, great vibe, serving Stumptown while we were there. Legit espresso on a La Marzocco two group and a Mazzer grinder. Single origin pour overs and for real Acai bowls. Will come back when we are inland on Oahu

Bill Smith

Great service, delicious Acai Bowl.

Lucas Wheeler

Great coffee great Baristas. Super surf ambience.

Thamous 1

Great coffee and friendly staff. Do not go if you are in a rush.

Michaela LaPlante

Atmosphere is amazing! Service is friendly. The area outside of it looks a little sketchy but it’s completely worth stopping at. I got a hazelnut latter and pineapple upside down muffin!

Aulani Kaaihue

Cool place to stop by and have coffee.

Brendon Johnson

Stumptown coffee is a good move, it is excellent coffee. And it's a humanitarian organization as well, with funds going to youth activities in the area. Best of both worlds!

Heather Deibel

Good atmosphere, comfy chairs, good coffee

Scar

Delicious coffee, great atmosphere and friendly employees.

Jeremiah MK Johnson

I came here on a rainy day and was craving something warm.. Coffee shops always smell amazing and this one didn't disappoint. I have stayed away from caffeine for a while but was thinking of ordering a decaf latte. On the counter they were adverstising 3 different types of chai lattes and I ordered the tiger chai latte. Upon my first sip I knew it was the creamiest and best tasting chai latte I've had. The three types were rated on a spice level and the tiger was in the middle and it was perfect for me, so if you're in the area, stop by and grab a drink, and enjoy the comfort of a neighborhood coffee shop..

Chris Ingleton

Surfers Coffee Bar is a great stop on your way to Haleiwa and the North Shore. Also, a great way to do some people watching in the town of Wahiawa. Will have to come back to check out their live music nights.

Tiffany Rensberger

Awesome atmosphere and delicious Stumptown coffee. Lots of seating but not too loud. Go here!

Yvonne Gorski

Amazing vibes and coffee!! Definitely coming back! Also, lots of parking (always a plus

Nicky Brooks

Love this place! One of my favorite coffee shops on the island thus far. Great coffee, and they have almond milk and soy milk for dairy-free options, staff are very friendly, there are many outlets for your laptop/cell phone and great internet connection, and a clean bathroom. Good place for meetings or to read or just chill.

Bert Leon-Guerrero

Service, clean, with a bathroom✔

Brianna Langman

Favorite place on the island! Great people and amazing refreshments!

Misty Jones

I love this place! It is unique, warm, and friendly. Not to mention the coffee is fantastic.
