Fried rice and sausage omelet at it again! Absolutely love that combo for a late breakfast early lunch meal. This place sits in the heart of Manoa and offers outdoor seating with friendly service. It is a little pricey but totally worth it!
Real food, home cooked and absolutely delicious. Great ☕. Great service. Very reasonably priced. Can't recommend highly enough.
Sweet atmosphere and open to the outside.
Have been to Morning Glass twice since arriving in Oahu and both times were very good. The iced lattes are great; I found the vanilla to be lacking a little but really enjoyed my girlfriend's caramel latte. The first day we went we ordered breakfast tacos which were very good. The second was for Saturday morning breakfast with their expanded menu. The oven skillet eggs I ordered were delicious, and the two other breakfasts ordered by the girlfriend and her brother were also very tasty. I can't speak to just a normal cup of coffee, but I definitely recommend this place.
By far the best coffee and breakfast burrito I've had on Oahu. Went here almost every day this trio after finding it. Plus they have parking. Definitely recommend.
Beautiful and delicious! The shop itself is very small, but has an open design to let all the fresh air in. Though it was small and packed, we got a table right away. The food took a little while to prep but was so worth it. The bread was homemade and the coffee brewed to order. Plus the staff were very helpful and patient. There were people standing near the door so I was a little confused as to whether they were waiting to order or waiting for a table, etc. but a staff member noticed me and explained everything kindly and clearly. We stopped here on our way to Manoa Falls and just walked from the cafe the rest of the way, it added about 40 minutes to the hike, but it goes through a cute little neighborhood with nice views of the mountains all around.
Best Espresso in Oahu! Perfectly pulled shots. Definitely check them out if you are looking for expertly handled espresso. They also offer a wide range of options for clever.
Sorry,neva been there
The coffee here will make you question your past life decisions.
I like the staff it's not a generic establishment
We drive across the island for this coffee experience. Love the coffee, fare, and quaintness of this little gem. The view of the mountains is breathtaking and the service is always commendable.
Some of the best coffee I have had on the island the breakfast was delicious there was a line when we left I would go early if possible.
✌️limited menu but good :)
Serving stumptown and sightglass coffee. Sandwiches are unique and tasty.
I love morning glass. They are the best coffee shop ever. Love the people that work there too!!
Food was good!
Orderd a breakfast burrito, an egg muffin, a vietnamese iced coffee, and a macchiato. Quite enjoyable.
This place is very popular with tourists and as such you will wait if you want to dine in. They have set rules about dining in vs take away - if you dine in make sure to put your name down on the list near the door, don't order anything till you are seated. If you don't want to dine in, just order at the front counter. The prices and food was great and I would recommend at least one visit, but I don't know if I'll come back. It is a bit out of the way and parking is difficult/limited.
I have mixed feelings about this place, if you get here when it's a calm day this place is amazing, great food and even better coffee. Generally weekdays seem to be better, still it's an easy 5 stars even if you have to wait for a table.
Started going to this place before it got completely packed out so i dont go as often anymore simply because i cant wait 25 minutes for a coffee, but if you have the time it is delicious! I also enjoy their green tea lattes! Its a small little place with just a few tables but since its in the heart of manoa its usually nice and cool with a simple view of the stunning mountains outside. Havent tried their food yet but i hear its delicious!
Always amazing! Staff so sweet
Sorry never been there
A hidden gem in Manoa Valley. Skip the long lines and lack of parking at the Starbucks down the street - Morning Glass has better coffee and better food. They serve Stumptown Coffee, which is a critically-acclaimed coffee roaster from Portland, Oregon. If you're craving a grilled cheese sandwich, give their gruyere sandwich a try.
Best Vietnamese coffee and great burgers
Great cafe. Best coffee around, hands down. Soft brew method with good choice of single origin beans. The egg and bacon muffin was simple and delicious. If you know what coffee should taste like, and have never ordered a double iced vanilla chai macadamia frappe, you will like this place. Also, great hot chocolates for non-coffee drinkers.
Came in to sit down and wait for the person I came to meet. Was told I could not sit down even though there was three open tables. Once my colleague arrived we ordered and sat down only to be told 45 minutes later - after our coffee and food were finished - that they would be putting a seat at the end of our table and we would have to start sharing the table. Terrible environment and the only reason they get two stars is the Strata was absolutely slappin.
Decent place for an average cup and sandwich. Listless staff, snarly owner.
おいしいcoffeeと朝食がいただけます♪ サービスもGood☆ Coffee and yammy breakfast♪ Good service☆
A must see for coffee enthusiasts.
Great coffee and really great service!
Perhaps they could hire another cook so the wait for eggs and toast isn’t 45 minutes all the time? Food great but the place is ridiculously slow even for a latte.
I loved the coffee.
Delicious coffee. Not any more expensive than other coffee shops but SO much better
Great cappuccino and a plethora of brewed to order options
Very good coffee. Didn't try their foods but sandwich looked very yummy.
Nice space, fresh made, good food, good parking except at peak times, good sandwiches for takeout. Pleasant Cafe space with screened in dining area, but not much of a view besides parking, the street. They need pure Kona coffee
Seems to be a busy place but the service was poor.
Best breakfast I've had in a while. The egg sandwiches were delicious, scones were the perfect texture, and the coffee was amazing. Best jet lag cure ever!
Great latte, the iced coffee was a smooth cold brew, and the chocolate banana scone was scrumptious!!
This place is always a wonderful treat! Great coffee!
Very casual outdoor cafe. They have lunch options along with the usual coffee + pastry. I had an iced americano with a strawberry/kalamansi scone, and it was just what I needed.
Great little place!
The view from this place and the ambience is just amazing but so is everything in Hawaii
I can't say anything bad about this place. They have the best coffee, the best food, the best location, and the best staff on the entire island. My first recommendation to anyone visiting Oahu who wants a true taste of Aloha.
This place could be insanely busy for a coffee shop. Coffee is good but small amount and it's expensive. Seen so many good reviews on food too but isn't it overrated? Taste good but not that special. Good atmosphere if cars are not parked so close to it.
Funky place with great coffee and food!
Small, funky, open-air neighborhood coffee house/cafe in residential Mānoa Valley. Great coffee, pastries, sandwiches. Rotating art exhibits by local artists on one wall.
Very simple but infinite options to create your own perfect dinner. 8 so soups and dozens of things to add to them. One of Oahu's best Taiwan style hot pot places.
Cool vibe going on, fun staff and a good mix of drinks and food - the lemon scone was very nice! Good varieties of teas, an excellent earl grey they have
This place was nice. Very knowledgeable about coffee and its sourcing/brewing processes. Decent baked goods as well
Great coffee, the breakfast burrito is delicious. It's a little cheaper if you get coffee for here rather than to go.
Great place. Food was phenomenal and the service was mirrored. The location is small and quaint. There can be a wait at times but it's well worth it.
Great home-made pastries and excellent coffee. Relaxed atmosphere, nice people serving coffee.
Just happen we run into this place on our way to Moana falls and was delicious
Best Brunch: That Mac and Cheese Pancake. With a side of bacon, please.
Great coffe and great breakfast even if there is a wait. It's still worth it.
Lots of parking, great location, perfect for working on laptop or having a chat with a friend, loved the ice coffee and food. Check it out and support local!
Nice place for easy breakfast and coffee.
Atmosphere is cute, but you need to be eating... limited tables to work in the coffeeshop. I don't think they have wifi. Food wise: no veggie/vegan/gf options that I noted.
You would be a fool not to love it. Homemade with natural ingredients. Made from scratch. Coffee to die for.
My favorite spot. try the Mac n cheese pancakes..u will be presently surprised.
Coffee wasn't good We looked at onlne review and very disappointed
Great coffee, food, and atmosphere. Trifecta.
Excellent service, coffee and food. Not much room
The mac n cheese pancake was well worth the fanfare, you've got to try it!
Good food and coffee but usually a long wait.
Just what you look for in a local community coffee shop. Small, friendly, and good quality. Top notch quality pour overs from multiple regions, clean espresso drinks, and a great selection of baked goods and breakest affairs. This place is splendid.
This place was great. The hot breakfast options are outstanding and the lattes are tasty. It was pretty packed, even on a weekday, so be prepared to wait for a table.
Excellent place to relax. Awesome, but simple food! Great coffee.
great place to wake up in manoa
I only got the Beauty smoothie, and it was delicious. They did have french toast that looked really good that I would like to try!
Great coffee and burritos (would have preferred the kimchi burrito with some hash browns or other kind of potatoes). Totally worth the usual wait.
Great coffee, friendly and quick service. They have coconut, almond, and macadamia nut milk (yum!). The blueberry scone was really good too! It's an open-air cafe with 8 tables that can seat about 4-6 each. Definitely busy and popular, but not uncomfortably crowded.
The food here was delicious and so creative. Biscuits and gravy were the best I've ever had!! Mac and Cheese pancakes were out of this world!! My husband didn't give me but one taste of his fried rice burrito, which was too good to share!!! Definitely will make a trip back to Oahu just to try everything else!!!
My quality of life has improved dramatically after wandering in here.
Excellent coffee, brewed and served right. Great, creative food options both bakery snacks and freshly prepared meals. Cozy seating is usually crowded, but I've always managed to find a place to sit before my food arrives.
The food was beyond super delicious! 100 stars no joke
First class. Always a cool crowd present to get caffeinated with!
Best neighborhood coffee spot in Manoa that draws tourists from around the world. Brunch is delicious and worth the wait but it’s a long wait. Afternoons are usually chill and they serve great lunch then too.
Little hidden treasure in manoa valley. Get there early. The line is seriously long. Amazing comfort foods and drip coffee.
The mac and cheese pancake gives chicken and waffles a run for the money. Parking can be hard to find but worth being patient. I like to use a generous amount of hot sauce and maple syrup pairs beautiful with a coffee drink I prefer Cortado. Beautiful views of the punch bowl area also it is close to Manoa falls. If you are energetic enough after coffee and that cheesy deliciousness.
Great coffee, scones, unique breakfast items and sandwiches. The service is good. The wait to order at breakfast and brunch can sometimes be long.
Excellent coffee and brunch food, we enjoyed our visit!
Awesome service, great coffee selection and food. Great spot for breakfast ambience. Had the Vietnamese Iced coffee, Biscuits and Gravy (you could opt in for sugar cured bacon and or fried rice) and the fried rice (half regular, half Kim chee)
Outdoor cafe with delicious food and amazing coffee. There is a small lot or street parking in the neighborhood surrounding.
As for espresso and latte: they know what they are doing. Very dry, full Arabica taste with that little earthy "stink" (for lack of a better word) you only get from the highest quality beans. Milk frothed to perfection, not too hot, dense foam, as good as any place in Williamsburg with similar sensibilities for roast, beans, foam. In a word: Excellent.
Great little nook! Wonderful service, grinds served with Aloha and a cute little shared seating layout.
Like most, stopped in after a hike. The Italian sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while, especially on Oahu. Coffees are great, the Matcha soda was a perfect end.
They have some pretty amazing coffee. The staff was friendly and prompt every time I went in for coffee. They have a fair sized menu for such a small shop. Seating inside and out gives you options of where you want to sit. Their food is very fairly priced
Usually crowded and tight parking. Best to park at Manoa Marketplace and walk over. Great food and coffee.
Nice Coffee, Mocha's, Hot Chocolate and Juices. Good stop off after a scenic walk to the Manoa falls
Good place.
My favorite coffee shop during my visit. Third wave so the coffee was amazing! The food was delicious as well. We ordered several dishes and did family style and I was surprised that the Mac n’ cheese pancakes were my favorite. The staff was very friendly.
Good morning ☕ Good spot in Manoa.
Good service. Smooth coffee
Great pour over coffee and fantastic outdoor atmosphere. Cold brew hit the spot too
Came here on a Sunday. Great cold brew, and the limited menu offered that day was delicious. The fried rice omelette was so good! Definitely worth looking in to.
Flavorful coffee and unique breakfast specials in a relaxed atmosphere. Permitted my doggie to sit with us and even provided a water bowl. Great spot and friendly staff!
Friendly coffee shop popular with locals and tourists; might rain on you as that's the norm up in Manoa Valley. Need a car to get there or some time on the bus from Waikiki.
Peppermint tea! ❤️
My favorite coffee spot. Yummy breakfast, burgers & sandwiches. Good variety of baked goods too! Everything is good here.
When did they start closing shop on Sundays?
Great food great service.
Delicious coffee
This place sucks so bad! Went here a cpl of times hoping that the crappy experience i had the time before was just a fluke...no it wasn't this place just sucks and here is why...if you go to a coffee place you want coffee and or tea, usually. My hubby, roommate and i came here for coffee and left with disappointment. They got half the drink order wrong, which took around 25 mins to even to that...which was a simple black coffee, homemade soda and a macha green tea iced drink....got a hot green tea instead of cold...which had to wait to be remade which then caused the coffee to get cold. The attitude of the person behind the counter was as ditzy as them come! That was the first visit took 45mins for 3 drinks
The staff there is always pleasant and the food amazing. The caramel latte is the best I've ever had.
All menus are excellent and delicious. Coffee was also the most outstanding in Oahu. Various single origin for brewing. Espresso was also good. It's on the outskirts of downtown. So more relaxed mood. Mountain's fog. I love this place.
Great coffee sandwiches are excellent as well!
Really nice place with awesome servers. Gotta love the view. Perfect place to stop for breakfast before or after the hike up to Manoa falls. Had the kimchee omelette and the mac and cheese pancakes. Omelette was amazing since they used good kimchee. I'm not a big fan of cheese on my sweet breakfast items so wasn't really keen on that one. Love breakfast so this was a must for us.
Pastries and snacks are legit. Sandwiches are simple and delicious. Gonna assume the coffee is good as every cup is dripped individually. I get the Vietnamese coffee, love it. Super cool people working in there that are friendly and remember you.
Show up early... Be ready to order & shared seating
Get a single origin, try the banana bread and take a seat at the round table outside. Great views, super chilled vibe and the perfect spot to go for a hike. I also got to meet 4 amazing guys who made my Hawaii trip to the most memorable holidays yet. #playingwiththeboys
Really good coffee and food. Nice atmosphere and very cozy. Definitely going back.
Favorite cafe ! Really good coffee, brunch on Saturdays, and the staff is great !
Food is great, but they've changed their seating to be open, no sign ups at least for weekdays, which can make sitting an issue
Always ono food. Sometimes it's hard to decide. Today's was an easy choice. Eggs on toast with prosciutto. Loved it!
Food is good, atmosphere great, busy
Coffee was some of the best I had on Oahu. The wait for a pour over is well worth it and the location outside couldn’t be better given the weather.
Excellent coffee. Given their popularity, I think it would behoove them to take on a larger space. I can't wait to try their food!
Great coffee, excellent service, love the ambiance
The service is extremely friendly, the food is delicious and the open air atmosphere is relaxed and positive! I love this cute little place.
One of the best cups of coffee I had in Hawaii. Their house bean is pretty unique IMHO. It was fruity, mellow, light but strong at the same time. Most other espresso based coffees I had were much more acidic and full bodied. This was a nice and pleasant change. I ordered a cortado which was perfectly prepared. Highly recommended
Small shop, but it's wonderful! Delicious breakfast and coffee. Will visit again when in Oahu.
Strata and coffee Swift fog on green Manoa Could it be a dream?
Best sandwich I ever had, and the weekend's limited omelet was really yummy. Needless to say about their coffee, wanna visit again.
My favorite place in Manoa.
Good and creative food!
Prepare for a 20-30 minute wait, then prepare for an amazing brunch.
Great service snd food. Well marketed. Coffee could have been better
Order some coffee while you wait for a table. Excellent across the board. Highly recommend, but don't be in a rush.
Simply the best...breakfast, sandwiches or BURGERS. Try the Mac-n-Cheese Pancakes.
Such a cute coffee shop, right by my house. They always have fun grab and go offerings in the case in the morning. I really appreciate the open air atmosphere, friendly people, and the cafe's attention to detail in their food and drinks :)
The coffee is worth the wait. If you're having lunch and you don't add the pickle party as a little side piece I'm just not sure why you are even here.
A really good place to visit. Nice space for relaxing or getting some work done. This location impressed me.
Best espresso drinks I’ve found in Hawaii! Food’s great too.
Awesome cosy breakfast place with great coffee
Wife really wanted to try the macaroni pancakes. She loved them. I had the breakfast burrito which was pretty awesome. Great friendly service very close to Manoa Falls trail. Amazing views of the mountains. Must visit!
Good
Stopped by before our hike. Cappuccino was good. Banana bread ok. But amazing macaroni cheese pancake. The cheese was thin and crisp. Rich but worth it. Split it with 3 others! Good vibe.
Mozerella with prosciutto and the B.A.T are awesome The pickles are even better.
Always love the service! Espresso & coffee is their craft and passion!!!!
My husband and I love to visit coffee shops, so we decided to stop here. We ordered our coffee and a sandwich and it was delicious. There is a sign that says you must place your order first, then you get a table. We ordered and sat a the only available table, which could seat about 4 people. Possibly more. We even offered the extra seats to other customers. While I was eating, a worker came over and asked us to move because another group of customers wanted our table. They were still in line and had not ordered. There were also THREE other tables with couples (that had extra seats at their table and the tables were the same size) that were sitting, talking, not eating and not drinking coffee but the employee decided to ask us to move instead of them. WHILE I WAS EATING. Would you do that to someone at a restaurant? No. So they shouldn't have done it to us. Especially when the group hadn't ordered yet (which is their policy and they have signs saying so). I also watched this same employee refuse to allow a woman to sit at a table when the others in her group were ordering because she had not ordered (yet those with her did). The same employee also told a woman they didn't allow people to bring in foods from other places (which is understandable, even though the two other women with her ordered sandwiches from Morning Glass), yet when people who appeared to be her friends, did the same, she didn't say a word. I'm highly disappointed in the behavior of this employee and the rudeness was absolutely unacceptable. And because of that behavior, I would NOT recommend it.
Quaint coffee and breakfast joint. Home cooking and personalized service.
Before we moved away two years ago, my wife and I would visit Morning Glass almost every weekend. Their weekend brunch was fantastic, their coffee was delicious, and their staff was worth getting to know. Visiting the island two years later, Morning Glass is the same great place I remember. Highly recommended, especially for the weekend brunch (though get there early, the seating is limited and fills up quickly)
Friendly staff, great coffee options, super chill vibe.
Nice neighborhood vibe, friendly service, great coffee, and wifi
Chill vibes good grinds
Excellent food and coffee. Large crowd with slow service.
It gets crowded and the hours are really limited, but the food and coffee are great
Brunch is always busy but the staff are effective and the cafe couldn't be cuter.
Super good coffee. Get the cold brew!
You cannot get better coffee on this island!!
Eric Rose and crew put out excellent breakfast, brunch, lunch and sweets. Not a coffee drinker but friends have declared this the best place to go for the best and best made coffee. Be prepared to wait for a table, but the wait is worth it for the food. Good quality ingredients prepared very well!
Excellent customer service, and the clever come Ethiopian was incredible! I'd also recommend the vietnamese iced coffee!
Super Radical place. Love it. Good food, great music playing. Good vibes, good vibes.
My favorite place for coffee on Oahu. I like the non uniform mugs and the breakfast burrito.
Staffs does their responsibility without opposition and restraint. They are trained to perfection! Of course, I would never forget the ingenious blend of their coffees. Mine's favorite is the frappuccino with chocolate toppings! I always partner it with chocolate cake. They are a match made in heaven. I highly recommend it to my colleagues!
First time going to this coffee shop. Friendly staff, a good cup of cappuccino, shared table's. The parking is pretty limited and this shop does get pretty busy. So stop by as early as you can.
