Really yummy coffee and feels local. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because both times I was there (not at peak times necessarily), the lines were long and the waiting area was crowded. Also, both times the person taking my order neglected to put my drink in as iced. I asked both times to just pour the hot drink over ice (not wanting them to remake) and was met with an annoyed barista. I understand why she was annoyed but jsut a bummer. Overall super delicious and easy!

My favourite place to have lox and bagels - so fresh everyday! Also the best place perhaps to pick up coffee beans - you cannot refuse the aroma of freshly brewed Maui coffee although they did kind of mess up my flat white & cappuccino but forgiven by its flavour anyway.

The interior was comfy and the staff were friendly, but the staff were not knowledgeable about the products at all. I asked about the single brews and the staff were not even able to point me to the tasting notes. I ordered two pour overs and the barista forgot which coffee was which. If you’re a serious coffee drinker, don’t expect too much from here.

Good coffee, prices are on the steep side, but what isn't. It's Maui after all. Apparently this place also doubles as the Maui PD auxillary unit. Last 3 times I've been in there, there were 3 cops hanging out.

The ambiance wonderful, the coffee out of this world delicious, the service lack luster. The cashier was nice enough but when I inquired about the macadamia nut coffee she stated they were not serving it today. She suggested maybe a latte with a sweetener. I inquired if it was artificially flavored and the barista wiped her head around and rudely stated “well even the brew is artificially flavored, it’s not like they put actual macadamia nuts in it.” The abruptness and dismissal was so uncalled for. Also, we were the only ones in line so this was not a matter of an overwhelmed employee just a rude person.

You'll find nice staff, great coffee drinks and yummy nibbles at the Maui Coffee Roasters. It's a testimony to Maui Coffee Roasters that so many locals are regulars here. You'll see them coming in and hanging about. Everyone is really friendly - it's a great place to get information about where to go while you're in Maui. Easy parking in the lot in front of the shop.

Came here because of great reviews and "fast service" but one bagel with cream cheese and one bagel with butter took 30 minutes to get out. We when we're obviously frustrated because we had places to be, the lady rudely came out and said "well there were 10 orders ahead of you" yet more complicated orders that were behind us in line were coming out faster. Seemed more catered to locals. Not happy with the experience!

I thought for sure Maui coffee roasters would be a large stand alone coffee shop, with Maui's coffee heritage. The building is located in a nondescript strip mall, BUT it has some GREAT coffee. The wait staff was incredibly kind and the prices appropriate. Do yourself a favor and get some good 100% Maui beans. I must have bought at least 5 bags for the trip home to the mainland.

Probably the most cheerful little coffee spot I've found. Our server was super happy to help. Overwhelming delicious coffee options from all over the Hawaiian islands. We had the turkey sandwich special and the Eggs Benedict with ham for breakfast. Both were delicious. The hollandaise sauce was divine! Prices were decent, too, especially for the quality. I wish we'd found this place sooner.

Coffee was yummy, food was average, ambience inside was nice, with lots of interesting artwork, but little or no outdoor seating (noisy anyway). Staff was friendly enough, but we had to go back twice because they made one of the drinks too small and forgot one of the food items all together.

Food and coffee aren’t bad but the service is very slow it took 25 minutes for us to get toasted bagels with cream cheese. We returned because we thought the first tome was a fluke but still just as slow. Definitely don’t go if you’re in a rush to go anywhere

I’ve never encountered such terrible customer service. It’s like the whole staff had a communal chip on their shoulders. I went to buy some chocolate covered macadamia nuts and there were none out. The girl literally rolled her eyes and threw the bags of product on the ground looking for them, asked a co-worker to make up some more and she said “what do you mean? Right now?” Got in line and ordered my coffee and croissant. And the barista practically snapped my head off over an Americao. They forgot my croissant and I asked for it and the guy at the pass threw it on the counter at me. If you hate your customers that much-don’t work there. Come on.

My everything bagel imitation crab melt was pretty good. Love the sprouts and i upgraded to the salad.... salad was fresh and yummy. My friend got the Turkey sandwich on sourdough and the meat on it was on the skimpy side... a little disappointing.

They definitely have the best bagles in island. Now don’t misunderstand me, they are good - for our island and if you are going to compare them to mainland style, they would be meh.The food prep. i.e. toasting and putting butter or cream cheese on is inconsistent at best. Sometimes it’s done perfectly other times I’m wondering where the topping is at all, and angle seems stale.I also enjoy their coffee and chai from time to time and prefer a milk alternative however be sure to ask them to shake the box as is directed in these milk alternative boxes before steaming the milk, otherwise it’s gross as the almonds etc.. seperate.It’s the little things that make all the difference.

Pulled into this shop to grab a coffee. “Voted Number 1” caught m my attention and I just had to try this place out. I was thrilled to see they offfered pour over coffee. Well what premium coffee place doesn’t?? I chose the 100% Kona Coffee from Makapueo Farm. They used a Chemex for the extraction process. I asked about the coffee to bean ratio and the girl told me it was 28 g to 510 g of water. I was worried because I usually do a 1 to 15 ratio. (They are using a 1 to 18 ratio approx) The water temp they used was 197 F. I watched the whole process and they did pre rinse the filter and bloomed the coffee as well. I found the bloom was over 1 min which I feel is a little long but they are busy making other orders as well and for time management they do their best. The coffee was very good. It was not bitter or sour at all. The coffee was very clean and smooth. The taste profiles were all there. I enjoyed the coffee so much I bought 3 bags. The staff were so helpful. One of the girls got me all the info I asked for even the grind setting of their grinder so I can match it all when I got home. I had a pour over at Aloha Coffeee at the Wailea Shops and this place blew it out of the water. If you are a true coffee lover I would recommended this place 100%.
