Love this coffee shop! The staff is always great, and the coffee's great too. Full espresso bar to meet your caffeinated needs. They also have a variety of teas. The cookies are the size of a small child's head! Some cool art for sale, and great seating areas that include a great outdoor patio.

I had a 16 oz. latte that was really very weak. Actually, it tasted like they forgot to put half the espresso in it. Their sugar free flavors are stevia based, which makes them naturally sweetened, but if you're not very sparing with stevia, you can end up with a bitter after taste. So between the weak coffee and the overused stevia, the latte was undrinkable. I threw out more than half a coffee that I paid more than $6 for. The reason I left 2 stars instead of 1 is because I love the atmosphere of this place. Beautiful large nature prints of photographs from around Macon and around the country. The furniture is lovely and rustic. The wifi is fast. Too bad the coffee was a no go.

This is my favorite place in Macon. It’s a deluxe, individually owned coffeehouse that puts the chains to shame. Whether sitting indoors and appreciating the art decor, or eating in the San Francisco-like alley, they provide everything from pastries to sandwiches to a variety of coffee drinks. Ask for my favorite, The Navajo! It’s an old native secret! (Chocolate, cinnamon, caramel espresso!) One of the best features about this place is the employees. They are all very friendly!

I've only had coffee and ice coffee, but i asked coffee they said coffee and creem, I said no and that was it no argument no face made just black coffee the way I like it and it was strong and robust cup. Good cheese cake, selection could be a little more diverse. I don't particularly enjoy popular Christian music so as far as music I would say thumbs down. This is not from some imagined prejudice against Christians, I happen to be a pastor, it is simply that Christian pop music is one one of the worst forms of music. Also while there a homeless man came in asking for a cup of water. He was denied, they could have just given him a glass cup if the concern was giving him a disposable cup. Just saying

Without a doubt one of my favorite places to be in Macon. I'll break down why it is so great more specifically below. Drinks/food: They offer some nice light options when it comes to food. Breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and sweets. While I cannot say I have tried any food they have the coffee is some of the absolute best I have ever had. I am a huge coffee snob. I have a french press, pour over kit, and only buy whole beans to grind right before making any coffee. They have a lot of options ranging from standard espresso variants to their own custom creations. Try the Maple Leaf for something on the sweeter side. Coffee: The coffee itself has a more earthy almost nutty flavor. They will also offer you three roast options if you would like for things like their pour over. They get their beans from a local Georgian company though I cannot remember which. Atmosphere and staff: The decor is very clean yet rustic. They display artwork from a local photographer that is absolutely gorgeous. It is up for purchase too if you feel so inclined. The owners are Christian and so they do play Christian music when music is playing. Though it is never to loud or distracting and unless you were listening for it you might not even know. There is also plenty of seating inside including some couches and high tables. There is also a very cute patio area with some nice water fountains. Overall this coffee shop is a must if you want a quiet place to relax and grab a delicious cup of coffee.

Single origin beans offered here, pour overs done by trained baristas. Very cozy, well decorated cafe, the red velvet brownie, when heated up is a must try. The only one available here if you stop by Macon.

Quiet, clean coffeeshop with room inside to have a small meeting or just chat plus an outside option in a quaint red bricked alleyway with a view of the street for people watching. The artwork on the walls was a big plus. Coffee was well prepared by baristas who were obviously pretty serious about their craft. Great spot to unwind in downtown Macon without being too hipstery of overrun by giddy students.

Great place to sit and chill, work or just enjoy the moment. Folks are always friendly and the pastry selevtion is good. My only reservation is that the coffee is many times is not hot - so remember to remind them to make sure to make it hot.

This coffee shop was very fun to visit. I liked the homey environment, the friendly service, and the homemade desserts. My husband and I got a pecan bar and red velvet cheesecake bar. We liked the pecan bar a lot. They serve the desserts on real plates, which was a nice touch. We were served quickly and, though they were busy, acknowledged right away.

The food quality and environment are nice, by the service is painfully slow. Even when I've been the only customer in the store, I've had to wait 10+ minutes for a latte. The staff generally seem more interested in talking to each other than making drinks. I've also seen them get weirdly preachy with customers before, in what appeared to be unwanted interactions. With better service this could be a 5 Star place. Unfortunately, this is the only coffee shop downtown.

Amazing, cozy atmosphere! This is the perfect place to sip a warm coffee on cold winter day or chilly autumn afternoon. Coffee was great, but food was mediocre. Also, customer service could be improved. However, they have lots of variety in drink options. The beautiful art is an added bonus! The best part of all was The Alley, a cute outdoor sitting area with greenery and exposed brick.

The best cheesecake I have had ANYWHERE in Georgia!!! It’s homemade and backed fresh in store! Who still does that? It is a definite must try for anyone in Macon or even middle Georgia. Hannah the barista was very kind and helpful. She had a great knowledge of the menu and off menu items guiding me through and explaining things to me. My peppermint dark mocha latte was fantastic. Excellent costumer service and an AMAZING beautiful atmosphere. You can come here and relax and let it go to just chill and simple enjoy! A magical visit. I highly recommend. Thank you! I love this coffee shop. The best thing about it is the atmosphere which is perfect for studying, working, or a coffee date with friends. There's plenty of room and pretty good wifi (~11Mb download as of date of review). The drinks and food are also good. I love the chai latte because it's not too sweet but tastes great. Great place to post up and get some work done. There are plenty of two and four seat tables lining the perimeter of this spacious coffee house. Also a big fan of the photographic landscapes on the walls and the tucked away fireplace - contributes to a homey vibe. Iced coffee and egg sandwich on wheat artisan bread were decent, and reasonably priced. Free street parking too!

When I had a sip of their mocha expresso milkshake I fell in love. The flavors i experienced were like no other I have ever tasted. I felt like a new beginning had started for my taste pallets. The place was magnificent and gave off a calm-relaxing mood. Amazing place all and all. One thing that the place could do to improve is to lower the volume of the music played on the overhead speakers. Other than that, I recommend this place 100%

Top five best coffee shops in the country hands down. I've been blessed to have lived in 20+ cities in the last ten years and Taste and See truly is one of the best I've ever been to. The heart of this establishment sets the tone for the environment to be positive, welcoming, uplifting, and a place for communion with the community. The rustic chíc look is a dazzling contrast with all the naturescape works of art displayed throughout the shop. The seating is arranged in way that you can find a cozy nook to embody, or be in an open communal setting as well as beautiful outdoor patio seating as well. The coffee and food and great as well, and they have the kindest and most curtious staff happily helping in any way they can. On top of all that are good Christian values and coffee on a mission to help others. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.
