Love this coffee shop! It's very comfortable and cozy with great seating areas. We chose a sofa area that felt like being the living room of a dear friend. My latte was delicious and my friend had a traditional espresso that was really good! I will make this a stop whenever I come through Cartersville again. I might have to try the bubble tea. That looks very interesting.

It's nothing fancy, but neither is anything else in Cartersville anyways. The coffee was very good and I prefer it over the only other coffee shops, all Starbucks, in town. Great coffee and I'm sure I'll stop by for coffee all the time.

I can't say enough good things about this place. This is my favorite coffee shop; any time we're anywhere near Cartersville we stop in. The coffees are amazing - drip and latte/mocha - both, and they don't overdo the flavoring in your drink. They have little snack things, pastries mostly, or cakes, but I haven't tried them. They have live music - I think Saturday evening? The people are so great, and they remember faces and preferred drinks. They certainly know how to pull a shot properly! I've never had a bad coffee here. Through the back is a hall to a shop that sells various infused oils, like a blueberry balsamic that is stellar and harisa infused olive oil that we now cook with exclusively. They aren't expensive and definitely worth a look. They also have some tea and general kitchen supplies. ;) But, back to the coffee shop! It's such a friendly place and they make incredible coffee. This is my favorite coffee shop and any time we're anywhere near Cartersville we stop in.

I was beyond impressed. I was passing through Cartersville and found this place almost by accident. The staff was super friendly and even recommended numerous other attractions in the area. The coffee is one of the best I've had in the south and the bubble tea was so delicious. The girl who took and made my order was so incredibly knowledgeable that I even trusted her to "surprise me" with the flavor of tea. It was a great experience and I may just drive to Cartersville one day just to have coffee.

Great coffee. Stepped in to get out of the cold into the most beautiful shop, which ended up being Olive Tree and Vine, an experience itself. We followed the aroma of freshly brewed coffee through the vats of olive oil, vinegar and wine to Southern Muggs. After much patience and helping an old couple like my bf and I we finally settled on an Abracadabra and a Beast...both LOADED with espresso and coffee...delicious, thick, flavorful accompanied by a coffee cake muffin for a perfect combo. Add a chill, kinda cool vibe. Some college kids on the free WiFi in a smaller front room, chess sets, free papers and plenty of inviting nooks and spots to cozy up. I had to detract one star because they were a little slow and disorganized when several customers came in at once and my bf didn’t really care for his beverage...too sweet but that could be a matter of opinion...I thought the coffee and muffin was delicious! A great spot to get out of the wind with your honey or a friend.

Love Southern Muggs! Fantastic coffee and great service. I'm so happy we have such a great coffee shop in Historic Downtown Cartersville. Definitely a must when you are nearby - and completely worth the drive if you are not! They offer traditional hot & cold coffee, as well as smoothies, Mexican hot chocolate (and an amazing espresso version of the same!), bagels, scones, muffins, cakes... I could go on :) MUCH better than Starbucks, by far
