If you’re visiting Savannah, go somewhere—anywhere—else for Sunday brunch. The service was miserable and rude from start to finish; the young ladies who “greeted” us and got us seated to our server seemed annoyed by our very presence, and if we dared ask a question about the brunch options. Food was just ok (chicken and waffles), not great— so not worth putting up with the service.

Been a loyal and vocal customer for years, but can no longer recommend Soho. On my last visit the updated decor had lost its quirky charm (though I'll admit the bar is gorgeous) and the food was lackluster at best. Was willing to overlook some growing pains for old time's sake, but was treated so incredibly rudely by the hostess that I'm throwing in the towel. So long Soho.

Our server Jamie was wonderful. She answered all of our questions and took great care of us. My husband and I both had the tomato bisque soup. I had the Pimento grilled cheese and he had the quiche, both were delicious. Highly recommend this for an affordable,casual little stop while in town.

David played tenderly, my song From a spring romance in 1952 as I walked in.so lovely. As l Sat down, the nice smiling waitress said ,iced tea with lots of ice. She. Remembered.the salmon blt was perfect and the collard greens so southern and healthy. Had lunch and enjoyed the meal. I had the grass fed burger and my wife had the quiche of the day (bacon, cheddar and tomato). The burger was perfect and my wife said the quiche was the best she ever tasted.

This review is a 1 simply because of the horrible service we received from our waitress. She was not friendly and did not communicate with us whatsoever. She literally didn't say hello, introduce herself, thank you for coming, or goodbye...and nothing in between. She made us feel rushed...bringing our bill before asking if we wanted anything else and when we said we'd like a dessert, she brought it in a to go container. Our food was very good and came to us in a timely fashion. The good, friendly service from the rest of the staff (hostess, another waitress nearby, and food runners) saved this experience from being a we-will-never-come-here-again type of place. Soho South, waitress at table 74 at noon on Sunday, 4/1 needs customer service 101 re-training.

I was there yesterday with my wife and some friends. First off, what an eclectic and absolutely beautiful atmosphere. I love the look of this restaurant. It set us up to have an excellent experience. We got cornbread muffins to start and the bacon jam and pimiento cheese it came with were INCREDIBLE. So good. All of the entrees were delicious and the chicken and waffles in particular were outstanding. Best I have had in quite a while. The only part of this experience that wasn’t amazing was the bar tender who served us. She was particularly cold, and I felt like I was annoying her anytime I spoke to her. Even thanking her seemed to be a bother. I’m sure it was just an off day…but in hospitality gotta leave it at the door. Would definitely come back for the chicken and waffles!

I was in Savannah briefly for work, and was told I must try the grilled cheese and tomato soup at Soho -- it did not disappoint. Hands down the best grilled cheese I've ever had. Had mine with tomato and spinach, but you are able to choose from multiple different items (turkey, ham, pickles, etc.) for additions to your grilled cheese. Deffo give Soho a try if you are new to and/or visiting Savannah. Waitress was also super friendly! :)

2012DEC15 Awesome food in a big open warehouse-like space. Decor is really random and cool; could be described as bohemian, hodgepodge, or eclectic. Matt and Genevieve were awesome servers. I highly recommend trying the Low Country crab cake/grits/shrimp/sausage. So much awesome flavor! Best dish on the menu, in my opinion. Can't wait to visit again next time I'm in Savannah.

When I go to Savannah, I have to stop by this place. The food is always great. I often order chicken pot pie, but anything else is very good as well. Prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere was good but got even better. They have been open for quite a few years I think. Finally, they now have a piano, and the guy who was playing today was absolutely amazing. We were sitting at the bar, and we could see his hands. They do not serve alcohol until 12:30 pm and you have to be at least 21 y.o. to sit at the bar. I absolutely recommend this place.

So good we've eaten here on back to back days for lunch. 2nd day the service was a bit slower, but definitely acceptable. For lunch, show before 12 for nearly instantaneous serving of food. Chicken salad is terrific, the friend chicken sandwich is tremendous. Their burger is only so so. But overall a great experience with interesting decor.

We LOVED our experience at SOHO cafe! The Grilled Cheese was so elaborate, the fries were DELICIOUS, the caramel apple mimosa was perfect for a Saturday morning and my Turkey and Avocado sandwich was delicious dipped in their house made ranch. I recommend this to everyone looking for a light delicious lunch. I hear they also are a venue for weddings, receptions, etc. ! Can't wait to use them for that reason as well!

Tomato basil soup 5/5. Very rich. Have a cup, or share a bowl. Vegan and gluten free options listed on menu, but no gluten free bread available for the sandwiches which surprised me after eating my lunch because it was obvious that the spiral fries and vegetables mix in the pot pie came frozen on a delivery truck. Coffee 5/5. Pimento cheese 3/5 processed. Atmosphere 5/5.

Probably the best food I had in Savannah! Fried green tomato sandwich was so delicious (get an egg on top!) as was the sweet potato side. Perfect portion sizes. Bright eclectic style and design!! This restaurant's twist on comforting, southern favorites has many options and can suit any picky eater!! My favorite is the grilled cheese with thick sliced bacon added and their tomato bisque is divine!! Order it as the Soho Combo it also comes with a side I tried the tomato, cucumber and red onions that were so tastely marinated. My friend had the chicken salad sandwich on buttery toasted bread with the mashed sweet potatoes. Our fried green tomatoe appetizer were awesome with the tomatoe onion jam. Stop in and enjoy lunch there you will not regret your decision.

Seafood pot pie wasn't exciting unfortunately. More of a seafood chowder with puff pastry on top. Would have been nice to try the creamed corn side that I was told about, but it was taken off the menu. I also found it mildly entertaining that the receipt gave tip options for 18%, 20%, AND 22%.

Great atmosphere, with such a unique twist to decorations. The front entrance gives off a great vibe when entering, with the vintage bar, blue chairs, and artwork on the walls. We ordered the chicken fried chicken and chicken and waffles. Soooo good! The chicken was really good, with thin breading, good flavor, and it was not dry at all. We also ordered the tomato bisque before we ate lunch and it was really good as well. Can’t wait to come back!

Went for Sunday brunch, was told 30 minute wait for party of 5 but only had to wait 20! Grilled cheese & Tomato Bisque was delicious. Friend ordered a side salad for a extra $3 but it didn't include tomatoes. Asked for tomatoes & when check arrived was surprised with $1.75 charge for tomatoes which we were never informed of so that is why 4 stars

I have been eating at, promoting and loving Soho for almost 20 years, but sadly after today's experience, I will never go back. The food was awful, but on top of that, the hostess was rude and condescending when I was trying to reserve a large table for my best friend's bridal luncheon in a couple months. She rolled her eyes at me, and our entire group was in awe of the level of disrespect. After we recovered from the shock, we decided to cancel the reservation and will be planning our event elsewhere.
