I like this spot. It’s a great place to met up with someone for a business meeting. They are located really close to the area of town I find myself in often. The drinks are good. The music is mellow. They could use a few more of the parking spaces at times, as they stay fairly busy. Frankly, at least 3 of the 5 stars come from them simply not being the big company that talks about ceasing to have straws by 2020. Yes, a beverage store that won’t offer you a free straw.
The best coffee in Smyrna. I was reluctant to move to Smyrna, largely given the poor coffee (and restaurants in general) selection that is often synonymous with the suburbs. Not only has Rev been a pleasant surprise when grabbing a cup on my way into the city but it’s a favorite spot for my entire family to enjoy on the weekend. Staff is knowledgeable but super chill.
Unfortunately the unique ambiance could not make up for the horrible service. Doing her job seemed to be an inconvenience to the barista, as she made my little sister feel so bad for asking for an iced tea that my sister started apologizing. I've gotten better and more enthusiastic service at McDonalds. Apparently the most basic customer service skills and ability to interact with another human being was not a job requirement. If you're looking for a similar experience, feel free to drink a cup of coffee while trying to hug a porcupine.
Excellent coffee and casual dining space perfect for reading, doing some work, meeting friends or getting a quick bite. Food selection was great. Great prices
This is one of the best coffee shops I've ever been too!
Awesome coffee and breakfast. Far better than the big chain stores.
I've been here a few times over the years and can't really emphasize how great it is. Rev is a true blue old school coffee shop. You've got art on the walls, locally sourced coffees, and a great selection of snacks. Every time I go to rev I wish I went more. I urge people to visit coffee places like Rev instead of the bigger chains. Places like Rev deserve far more recognition than they get. Please, give this place a try.
Great place to sit and work or chat with friends. Better if you like a little bit of background noise while you work.
The smoothies are delicious, the staff is very nice, and this place is nicely decorated!
Best coffee in smyrna
Delicious cup of cappuccino done just right. The pastries are fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere and good service.
One of my favorite coffee shops. They have a great variety and nice signature lattes. Not to mention, they have solid cold brew for a hot day. I do not go often enough.
All-around great local coffeehouse. Vibe & atmosphere is local and fun, coffee is delicious, all the pastry and food items are solid, smoothies are good, service is friendly, bathroom is clean. It’s everything you could want in a coffeehouse. Parking can be tough during peak hours, but it’s well worth it.
Always good service. Prompt and good with their rushes. Nice atmosphere for low key meetings, but ultra packed sometimes. Speaks to the quality!
Pricey but the smoothies are phenomenal!
I like to buy whole bean single source coffe from here, I like the Americano and Latte aswell if I stop for a coffee. My biggest compaints are 1. the parking lot situation; I think it's being fixed but the roads are quite damaged and many of the parking spots are claimed by other buisnesses. 2. I think the food is a bit overpriced, and they only have a microwave to heat things up which is very meh for the price. It seems like many people lounge here and work on personal laptops. I think this contributes to the parking congestion.
Been twice this week, love the caramel cookies
Tonight was my first time there. Had a business meeting there. Myself and my colleagues were thoroughly impressed. We loved the atmosphere, fun, funky, artsy, relaxed like an authentic coffee house. Loved the artwork. The seating was great. My hazelnut, vanilla, cinnamon coffee was delicious. Staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.
The very few times of the year when I'm in Smyrna, this is where I go for coffee. I found it because it's close to what I'm doing but I like this place. It's a hipster coffee shop, so know that before you go in.
Cool place to hang. Lots of tables and friendly staffers.
Great coffee, friendly staff and free WiFi. It was my first time here.
Excellent staff! Great cup of coffee. Definitely going back!
Pretty good americano, great quiche, nice vibe.
Local coffee roaster with ample space inside, a solid lunch menu, and a good variety of different beans. Both single origin and blends are present. Complementary girding of whole bean coffee to go. I always try a coffee House's espresso as a baseline and theirs was pretty good!
A great place to have a great latte and chat with others. It felt like a good coffee house and not just a place to just get coffee like Starbucks.
Great coffee and amazing cinnamon rolls. I'm glad Smyrna has a quality coffee shop like this.
Best coffee place in town with amazing bacon & egg muffins, cookies, and sandwiches. They are worth the price and the vibe is great!
Great atmosphere, fair prices!! Definitely a place where you want to be if you're a coffee shop lover.
A hoppin' Saturday morning spot! Service is quick despite swarms of people flooding in to get their caffeine fix! Fantastic atmosphere, local artists decorate the walls, funky tables inside, outdoor seating, and good vibes all around! There are tons of drink options and a few tasty treats, both savory and sweet! (Also you can now get cbd oil added to your coffee) . Overall the perfect local spot to stop by for a quick cup, or linger for a little while! Keep an eye out for their festivals too, those are a ton of fun.
Really good coffee and great vibe. Always interesting group of people.
Wonderful coffee, staff is friendly. Menu is witty but doesn't try too hard, has the typical accoutrement of coffee shops but it's evident that they place value on good product and good people.
Great local spot. Urban ambiance. Good snacks.
Always great atmosphere. Delicious smoothies.
Excellence! Was traveling so happened to be in the area and stopped by for a cup of Chai tea. They were quick, precise and great customer service.
Friendly staff. Comfortable ambience. Plenty of room. Smart layout for ith groups and individuals. Product was good.
Great atmosphere. Much better than Starbucks
Excellent espresso and pastries but the area changed into really over crowded. The round tables interior are too small for even people to set up laptops on, a whole lot much less to sit 4 human beings at as the chairs are arranged. I was once a huge fan of their espresso, but the last few instances I've had it it has tasted weaker, and had more of a fancy taste to it.
Nice local coffee shop. Not the best coffee quality. But the place is cozy. I do not like that they only serve in paper cup.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Fire on the Mango smoothie...sweet and spicy at once. Atmosphere excellent, plenty seating inside and out.
This is a great place. Spent five hours waiting for the AC on my car to be repaired. Cost of repair was in 4 digits. A free coffee would have helped, but the reputed car fixers have no sense of humor
The pastries look amazing, and I'll be back to try them, but the coffee was everything I expected it to be! I did some research for the better part of a week trying to decide where to get coffee when I visited Atlanta, and Rev looked to be the most intriguing. I got a new Costa Rica, and it is so, so great. Tons of complex flavors rolling around in there. It was just a little darker than most Third Wave coffees that I get, but I'm not at all upset by that. The slightly darker overtones didn't overpower the drink. I'll be doing all I can to get back before I leave town!
This place got me hooked on good coffee years ago. They used to sell 1000 Faces coffee from Athens, GA, but they've been roasting their own coffee for years now. Good selection of single origin coffees and blends. No over-roasting here. Good cafe food, too. WiFi is nice and fast.
I really enjoyed my time here. I had a good brew and it was greater, really smooth. The atmosphere was nice, I will say this place was packed, but i was still able to find a seat. I'd highly recommend checking this place out.
Rev is great coffee and food with a unique atmosphere. All their food is sooo good and interesting, and the monthly/chef specials are always a fun surprise.
Cool people. Great coffee. Get the dirty chai latte with almond milk... way better than Starbucks
Quirky little place. Lots of good drink and good choices. Always lively.
Love the feeling, it invites you to stay
Local, nice vibe, good parking, great coffee!
Excellent mellow environment. Deliscious coffee and baked foods.
Great coffee great prices great environment I suggested if you live in the area
I always love Rev Coffee. Feels like home to me. I buy their coffee beans for home brew too. Best in the whole world, and I've had Luwak coffee in Bali. Luwaks have nothing on Rev.
Great coffee, friendly staff and super close to home.
Gurl, this Peanut Butter and Coconut Iced Latte cured my anxiety, gave me abs, and fixed my car's transmission. It is transcendent!
Nice people, chill spot. Try the freaking cheddar cheese biscuits or cheese rolls. I can't remember the name. It's got cheddar, possibly bacon Again... I can't remember, but it's da bomb.
Best coffee shop in Atlanta. Unique espresso drinks and an upbeat vibe. Staff is friendly. Food is good as well.
Good coffee. Good food. Good atmosphere.
Great coffee/coffee drinks, smoothies, pastries/cookes, sandwiches, and quiche; great atmosphere, too
I don't get it about this place. Could it be the convenience? The espresso wasn't that great but I saw lots of raves about the drip. The customer service wasn't welcoming at all. In fact, on my first visit I stood in line which was long and the rather tall, blond woman who works there literally bumped into me as she went behind the counter. Not so much as an excuse me or acknowledgement whatsoever. That was rude! I thought it was her but when I approached the register the younger lady on the register made no effort to smile or welcome me. She literally stared at me and waited for me to address her. It's a terrible approach to an customer. Then when I selected the prompt for no tip her facial expression showed me everything I needed to know. I was considering trying them on a weekday during lunch hour since I did visit on a Sunday. Some others comment on the busyness of the place but why would I spend my hard earned money with a business that doesn't appreciate me?
I love this place! The coffee is excellent and the baristas are very friendly and helpful. They sell lots of great coffee making equipment with prices that are similar to what you find on Amazon. Their fresh roasted beans are the real gems here. Just amazing smells and flavors. I use their beans and an aeropress I got there to make coffee that I think is even better than what than what they serve behind the counter. Great coffee house.
Best OTP coffee shop experience in metro Atlanta.
The coffee and breakfast is great . The menus is a little tricky and needs some time to decipher what drinks they have .
Enjoyed their iced coffee. Friendly service.
Cool trendy place, if your looking for a Starbucks alternative this is it. Definitely not the "chain" feel.
Coffee is always great. Never tates burnt. And when I go specialty drink, Lilith
Pricey but good
This is my favorite coffee shop in Atlanta area. It's located in Smyrna. Everything about this place is great. Coffee is very high quality - they roast their own. Staff is always very friendly, not pretentious types you might find at other coffee shops. Atmosphere is great, plenty of seating and electrical outlets. Food offerings are first class as well. Hard to think of anything critical.
Best Chicken Salad and I love the CocoMocho. Parking for to go orders limited.
Great tasting and smooth coffee. Great staff and owners too. Love supporting local businesses!
Solid coffee, best I ve had since moving here a month ago. The shop is very nice and very lively you see lots of people working or just hangin out. I liked their chocolate chip cookies. The staff were nice and sweet also. Will be back.
The first Friday of each month REV Coffee give FREE coffee if you ask. A big 16oz cup of some great brewed coffee. Choose what extras you want from sugar or honey, cream or just black. Then sit back and pull out your phone along with the rest of the customers and enjoy your great free coffee while catching up on the latest emails or other social media.
Great coffee and ambiance! Great place to enjoy some great coffee and work remotely.
I don't understand the hype about this place. Coffee isn't special, parking is horrendous, and they didn't offer much in terms of gluten free. Won't be back.
Quality coffee, tasty food options. I recommend the chicken salad on a croissant. Great place to grab coffee and meet up with a friend! Always lively - if you are looking to get work done, you'll want to bring headphones. Seating can be tough to come by as well, as the place is almost always near capacity. However, I've always been able to find a spot to relax. Great local spot!
Great staff, fun atmosphere. Neat coffee options as well! All of them are good flavored coffee with just enough sweet to be palatable but still a good strong coffee flavor
Good coffee. Decent victuals. So so parking. They are getting more though
Love this place, went 3 times this week with my grandson also looking forward to coming here
Delicious brewed and steamed coffees and fresh pastries and breakfast foods, this is a place my brother takes us when we visit. From the staff to the many menu items all reasonably priced, this is a favorite local stop for us. Everything tastes great and there are plenty of places to relax with outlets nearby if you need to charge up a device.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I live in Louisiana and everytime I'm in the area I look forward to coming here. They have no traditional flavors that are yummy and would you believe they're PACKED on Saturdays?! Line is going out the door!
... cozy place and coffee and food taste as good, maybe even better than Starbu***
Solid cup. Good price. Staff is super attentive and friendly.
Speedy service amazing baristas perfect atmosphere I drive up from Buckhead for this!
The coffee here is amazing but I will never eat the food here because I just stood in line an watched a FLY crawl all over nearly everything in the pastry cabinet, and when I alerted a worker he just said ok and didn't do anything. I tried several times to get someone else's attention, but instead they ignored me and I watched them serve several pastries the fly had been all over to customers. Flies eat poop and dead things, and are leading disease vectors. And it wasn't just landing quickly on these pastries, it was really digging in, getting intimate with them. My stomach turned and I had to leave. Will never be able to eat food here again - they were more concerned with making sure they were pumping out the CBD lattes while looking cool than with making sure their FOOD isn't being compromised by insects Blegh
I'm glad to see that they are doing well, but the place was really over crowded. The round tables inside are too small for even two people to set up laptops on, much less to sit four people at as the chairs are arranged. I used to be a big fan of their coffee, but the last few times I've had it it has tasted weaker, and had more of a flowery taste to it. That's just my personal preference though, I like my coffee really strong and really bold. Other than that, the service is still fantastic, their snack selection is great, and the overall atmosphere is very positive.
Great place for coffee
Best coffee in Smyrna! Wide variety of both traditional and interesting espresso beverages, cozy environment, and super friendly staff!
Great alternative to the global giant. Better espresso for sure.
Good coffee. Friendly staff.
Cool place. Great coffee. Very "hipster". Lots of people go there to work/study/read. Would recommend.
It has some awesome coffee I love it
Delicious coffee and food! Cool atmosphere!
I love this place. I have for a long time. They have some of the best local coffee around. Staff has always been friendly and the overall atmosphere with the music and working out of a converted car garage is pretty nice. I've gone there plenty of times to read, study, and work remotely. This is a dog friendly establishment as well. Often times, I will request a special treat for my dog and they accommodate for it even though it is not on their menu. Which is awesome :) They have gotten a bit big and too popular for their space though. Parking during peak hours can be hard to find, as well as seating.
Perfect for new coffee makers/people who want good coffee or experienced coffee snobs. They sell their own coffee beans which are amazing. If you are going to make coffee with beans I would recommend the consensus or Brazil. This place offers a variety of different and delicious coffees and other drinks. I would recommend to anyone who asks.
My favorite coffee place in the Smyrna area. The staff is friendly and the coffee is good. There is a lot of room to do work and I like the environment.
The only downside is the menu is hard to read. Other than that it's great! Tasty coffee, nice seats, chatty crowd and it's ALWAYS slightly busy so you might not get the chair you really like but you can make it work.
Very Uber and cool place, I've had a chai latte which a speciality drink and was really good.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite coffee shops. Ever since I moved out of MIdtown, I've had a hard time finding nice places to work from. I love how spacious this shop is: it has in and outdoor seating. Admittedly, it can get a bit loud as it's just a large room with plenty of reflective (auditory) surface, but most people tend to listen to music anyway. The food is great! Pictured is the veggie quiche and I'm already wishing I bought another slice. Plain coffee beverages are competitively priced. Food, however, seems a bit expensive. I'll definitely be coming here more often!
I brought 22 team members in for coffee and we were treated with such enthusiasm and graciousness. I love Rev coffee. Thank you
This was a perfect place to study! The lattes are so delicious. The atmosphere in the shop was busy and upbeat, but not hectic. I loved that people could both work quietly or hang out and socialize with friends. There's plenty of parking behind the shop and there's lots of seating inside and outside. Make sure you bring fully charged electronics because the only outlets are by the walls, and there's a lot of tables in the middle of the room!
Dark roast is incredible, ( silver comet) really smooth, and with no bitterness. Great vibe, but crowded most of the day.
Best Chai latte in town.
cute coffee shop with yummy pastries
Fast and friendly service with a great Americano at a reasonable price. Will be back
Great coffee, good food, hipster atmosphere and CBD coffee!
Very busy on Saturday, great spot to chill, think, work and hangout with WiFi.. Great vibe whether you choose to sit inside or outside.
Delicious cappuccino and quiche, highly recommended!
Good breakfast food to go with coffee. Quiche was delicious but a fairly small portion.
Great place to get your espresso fix and get some work done. WiFi is on point, there’s AC ports all over the place and the music is not loud enough to be distracting.
one of the best places in Smyrna! love coming here and spending time. great coffee, awesome people, and fun people watching make for a great day
Had a latte here and it was amazing. The baristas recommended a bag of roasted beans that I also bought and have really enjoyed. I wish I was local I would come here all the time! Highly recommended!!
Second time visiting this location and I’m not a huge coffee fanatic, but am consistently thrilled with the customer service, quality and taste of the espresso and iced coffee. You’ll love this place, I guarantee it!!!
Not at all worth the price and the atmosphere was a bit cold, too.
Good service, good products. Pleasant atmosphere. Active place, but not too loud; you can hear your own thoughts.
Great coffee I love the location. If you want coffee go to Starbucks, if you want great coffee you better show up here and see the difference is, you will enjoy it..✌
I've been multiple times in the coffee is always top shelf. Their blend is especially smooth and for me is easier on the stomach than some other well known shops/chains. The atmosphere is fun, eclectic, and unique. It seems that they are consistently full of customers but the wait time never seems to be too long. if you are new to the area be sure to swing by and give them a try.
Super single origin coffees frim around the world. Wife loves muffins here as well. Visit Rev online for current coffee .
I absolutely am obsessed with this coffee shop! It has a relaxed hipster vibe! The high quality coffee tastes amazing and makes you question why people like Starbucks. My favorite drink is the iced scarecrow! Just hands down the best coffee spot!
Awesome coffee. Wish I had one close to home and not work
The reviews for this place were so good, so that's why I kept trying to give it a chance - 4 times. Cashiers don't seem to know how many shots are in anything, there has been no consistency in either product or pricing, and the espresso I had today was so bitter it wasn't drinkable. My friend's so-called mocha tasted like a weak hot chocolate with no coffee flavor at all. I really tried to like this place, based on all of the positive reviews, but I've been at different times of day and different days of week, and order just espresso for myself, nothing complicated, and still can't find anything good to say about the coffee.
Best coffee in ATL!
By far the best local coffee spot. It has such a unique yet comfortable atmosphere. Once you arrive and get your coffee, you simply don't want to leave. The staff is personable and every beverage they make reserves 5 gold stars. Can't wait to go back!
Rev ups! Great roaster, cozy store, friendly staff. We always stop by when we're in the Jonquil City.
First time visitor today... I was in the area and wanted a pastry but not from the normal spots... dunkin and Starbucks... so I did a lil research and found this spot... I ordered a caramel frappe and got a cranberry walnut muffin... the frappe was delicious... just wish it was a lil more slush too it... haven't tasted the muffin yet... I'll be back
The first time we came here I didn’t think it was that great but we decided to give it another go and it was just terrible. My boyfriend ordered a shot of espresso and IT WAS SOOOL BURNT. you can literally smell the burntness of the espresso it was so bad. I ordered a latte with two shots of espresso and you couldn’t even taste the coffee. We will definitely not be coming here again. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is quaint but unfortunately their espresso just is not good.
Very cool vibe and I got the ham and pepper jack croissant it was delicious. Oh and coffee was good too (lol).
First time here. The chai is perfect and my wife's custom drink was perfect as well. Reminds me of back home!
I had a good latte. Baristas were friendly.
Good quality coffe and very friendly staff
Tried this place twice now. First time, tried their espresso and found it to be very bitter. Second time, decided to try a flavor drink and git a Mocha. Couldn't even taste the espresso that's supposed to be in it and found it way too syrupy sweet. Sorry to say, but I will not be going back.
Omg!! The coffee was sooooo delicious!!
They have Good coffee and the food items are always fresh. I love the hummus plate and Almost Famous chicken salad. Free wifi and outdoor seating is a plus.
BEST and I mean BEST iced latte with 2 pumps of vanilla syrup I’ve EVER had. The muffins were to die for melt in your mouth delicious-blueberry, cranberry/walnut, and morning glory and yes, we tried all 3. I don’t write reviews but I had to for how blown away I was by the products and service. The sweet ladies behind the counter make ALL the difference in wanting to go back!
Great location, and really good coffee. When I’m in town, I always stop by for a cup.
As an Australian who is accustomed to good coffee, it has been hard to find a good coffee in the States. After finding a nice little cafe / bakery in Marietta (Sessions Stand) who said they source their beans from Rev, I had to stop in and try it out. I had a small latte and was very happy with the first sip! I am so glad that I have found a couple of good places in the local area to get a great cup of coffee!
Excellent independent coffee house with it's own roasting shed. Comfy chairs and great service make for a very relaxing atmosphere. I'll definitely go again and again...
Really good coffee, good music, interesting original art. Metal chairs... a little uncomfortable. Interesting mix of people.
Great local coffee shop. Have really like that they have extra parking around the corner out back. Also they have a LOT of seating inside. The Greg Almond has been my go to so far. Really like the balance of different flavors in the drink.
Amazing atmosphere, and a great place to meet friends and talk! They also have almond milk and alternative milks if that is what you like.
the most friendly team! delicious drinks and food. cozy neighborhood vibe. my go-to spot.
Great local business with a delightful atmosphere.
I enjoy Rev's coffee a lot, but they are always jam packed from opening to closing. Not once have I shown up and been able to just grab a seat. I've always had to wait for someone to get up and leave or just order to go. Everyone stays there for a thousand and one years to do stereotypical coffee shop stuff (buy 1 cup of coffee, finishes it, then breaks out their laptops, books, "studies" to sit for HOURS). It is also insanely loud sometimes. Great for coffee. Terrible environment for those who have anxiety problems/people problems. Rev is great but the customers are not.
Coffee was off the hook! Had the mocha toffee with almond milk
Excellent coffee and pastries. Nice place to get work done, and there's plenty of parking. I love this place
Great coffee with an artistic vibe, reminds me of when I lived in San Francisco with coffee shops frequenting every corner!
Holy delicious espresso. I'm obsessed with the flavor of the beans!!!! Super knowledgeable and helpful staff too!
never been there don't know why it shows up in the mouth thing
Great coffee with unique flavors
Efficient service good vibe
I really like their coffee. Awesome atmosphere.
Love the coffee here, it's flavorful but not strong. The only downside is the wait is a bit long, they're always busy but it's worth it just wish they used filtered water too.
Really good experience! Cute coffee house, open later than most, with great prices ($9 for my drink and my husband's - pretty good pricing for what it could've been). Their design I side is really cool, with old church pews as well as chairs with seats made out of bottlecaps, and tables with mirror pieces inlaid. Really cute and funny, with a sort of "rustic industrial" design scheme. The coffee was great! I got the Coco mocha and I downed the whole thing quickly. My husband has celiac and was concerned about gluten, but the cashier took the time to look at the ingredients of their syrups and other ingredients to determine what was gluten-free. We took a gamble and my husband did not get sick from anything. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and good drinks. We will probably be back!
Coffee at the best. I love coffee with milk .it's one of the best places to get flavoured one . I prefer coconut and hazlenut latte here .
Great coffee, adequate parking around the back, good service ... easily the best place for coffee in the area although it is frequently busy
Wasn't impressed. Too many other options to be such a run of the mill off the beaten path place.
This place is great, and the community knows it. The long line is worked through very fast and drinks come out quickly. Love it!
This place is groovy! I ordered the egg and bacon quiche and a medium coffee. It was so good, we went back twice during our trip to the area. Only set back was parking. That’s the only reason I couldn’t rate it 5 stars. But the cost was just fine and when visiting that area again, I’d go back.
Really great coffee and pastries.
I really do love this place! I dig the vibe of the employees, and customers. The crowd is diverse, a great mix of peeps, and all round a very attractive crowd.
Great coffee, great quiche, great staff
