Wonderful coffee, and a great cause!
Am extraordinary place where you get to meet people from all walks of life share your stories and your time together it is so uplifting. What a privilege to have this space
Unique concept.
A very good place good people ,and good coffe. Next time i will bring my friends from church.
Amazing Apple cider and rich hot chocolate that was served at a wedding
Cute little café
Great, conscious coffee shop here. I'm not much of a drinker myself, but I'm willing to support a place that reaches out a helping hand to refugees like these guys do.
Quirky little place, it's a coffee shop run out of a food truck in the parking lot with seating and a store inside an old gas station behind it. The service is exceptional and the coffee and tea selection is decent. They support local refugees by offering job training and acclimation skills.
Great place and great services
Best coffee place to relax, to read a book ,or even study! The people who work there are extremely friendly! Atmosphere on point!!!
Wonderful coffee and tea and the people are very kind and considerate.
Love this place! It's such a unique coffee experience with the food truck and open layout. They have great coffee and a great mission! I always stop here when I'm in the area!
I’ve visited Refuge Coffee several times but I really enjoyed visiting during the 5K this past weekend. I was able to spend more time here and see a great host of people. Their chocolate croissant that they had was amazing!!! My daughter loved their choco-loco drink too.
Great cause!!
Great people and great coffee. Not to mention it's a great cause
Great people and even better coffee!
Kool place.
Awesome place. Thanks so much RC for all you do for our community
This venue has great people, incredible coffee, and a beautiful sitting area for effective work production and deep conversations.
Coffee is pretty good. What's also really cool about this place is the events that they promote that is creative and art friendly. It's really cool how the community comes to support.
Delicious!
Wonderful coffee and beautiful story
I love everything about this business. Thank you for all you do, and for the delicious caffeine available so early in the morning :]
Excellent staff, great drinks and an excellent cause. Make sure to ask for Leon when you go.
I like where it's located, in the middle of Clarkston home of refugees, its always fun to go there and take pics but the prices are ridiculously high.
Ahmad, thank you so much for an amazing day! Everyone was so in love with the truck. Can't express how much we are thankful for you helping us out today with our little surprise. Until next time... thank you!!!
The coffee was so good!
Love it!!! Love the people love the coffee love tea! I love everything. Awesome place to get away, drink coffee and read a book.
Price to high
Thankful that the Refuge coffee truck has its own independent power system!
Although they serve from just a truck, the coffee was exactly how I like it: strong flavors with a bonus touch of latte art. Quite a hidden gem and I'll definitely will be making Refuge my regular caffeine go to place.
Amazing coffee and espresso drinks
Friendly staff and great drinks!
Wonderful iced hibiscus tea on a hot day. Friendly and efficient staff.
This is my new go-to spot before work. I’ve tried an Iced Coffee and an Iced Vanilla Latte both were delicious.
One of my favorite coffee places in the area. The atmosphere is awesome, the espresso tastes great, and the employees are polite and helpful
I always love stopping by here! Everyone is so friendly, and the coffee is delicious!
Grabbed me a medium mocha coffee, an a plain crossaint from the Refuge Coffee Co. Truck. Fantastic coffee, an a unique plump crossaint....toasted. Great pick me up after being up an driving this brisk morning.
Great atmosphere. They also support, employ, and train refugees as their mission.
Some of THE best coffee I have ever had. Has Starbucks beat by miles!! The vibe is amazing. Customer service is there 100%. Love this place
I love the unique culture at Refuge Coffee- the coffee is amazing too!!! You HAVE to come to Refuge Coffee Co. You will NOT regret it!
Wonderful experience. Had the Mocha Shakerato, delicious! The fact that this place is a converted gas station was amazing. Hope to get to go again when I get a chance. Also support the artisans, there were beautiful pieces there.
A wonderful place to gather with friends or get some work done. The tea and coffee is great and the staff are the best. I love the intentionality around creating a space for all people to gather and all the events that build community.
This is the best coffee shop you're not going to. Enough said
Awesome people, coffee, and cause.
Great product, great cause, and even better people!
This is the best espresso right there I like all teams are working with him
We love everything about Refuge Coffee, from incredibly prepared espresso drinks, to a business ideology that truly gives refugees skills for future success! Ok
I think I have found my new “spot”. I tried this coffee shop on a whim after my biology class and I really like it. You buy the coffee outside from the truck but they have a very nice inside area for you to sit and drink. There’s WiFi and it’s a very comfortable atmosphere.
A place to be loved it
Wonderful social enterprise that not only serves up great coffee but also trains folks for working in coffee shops. Great swag too. Experience the most diverse neighborhood in America.
Quality coffee, nice people. I have tried a shot of espresso and 2 iced drinks and all were above average.
Loved it and the community!!
Delicious, high-quality coffee served by a company that supports the local community by hiring refugees. There are covered tables outside, as well as seating inside. One of my favorite coffee places ever ☺️
Great Outdoor space, nice coffee
Great coffee, company and purpose. It's the best place to hang and meet neighbors. The super strong coffee is also a plus!
Favorite place to get coffee and pastries in the area!
The best Coffee in Atlanta!!!!
Nice laid back place. Pretty strong coffee (taste wise) and cold drinks.
Watch your step and order at the truck
Highly recommend going any time you can. Great coffee and wonderful people
Delicious. Cool, chill and funky vibe. Staff is super kind and friendly.
Love this place and all it stands for! Truly a community atmosphere.
A vood place to be to meet good people and network
Went for Melanie's CD release party!
Great coffee, great cause!
Good
It is a very nice place with good coffee.
The coffee here is good but you also are helping support a local business that employees refugees and those working to build a new life here in the U.S.
This place is amazing! Really a good feeling to support this company! Service was awesome coffee was even better!
The atmosphere, vibe and service here is like no other coffee shop and also the fact that it’s non profit helping refugees.
Great coffee
Currently a food truck at a fixed location. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The quality is equal to or better than other specialty coffee shops and the business is actually a charity supporting refugees. If you are biking to Stone Mountain on the PATH, this is a great place to stop and grab a coffee.
Incredible 1st experience at this lovely, delicious nonprofit coffee house staffed by refugees, beautifully reflecting the multicultural Clarkston community. Coffee and chai tea were both yummy crafted by immigrants as they transition to life in Atlanta. Go support this place! Additionally, enjoyed Sofar Sounds Atlanta - a unique, pop up musical experience with location revealed the day prior and musicians a surprise on site. We enjoyed sounds from Adrian, Team Abyss.... Beautiful voices and spoken word. Great time had by all!
Coffee was incredible! Was there with a group and everyone loved their drinks.
Nice spot with lots of activities. Great cause.
I fell in love with this atmosphere. Great spot to work remotely. The seating area is large and has a variation of seats and tables to fit your comfort needs (couches, big round and square tables, etc). The coffee was also really good. I love this shop and their mission.
Great coffee, friendly people, lots of seating inside makes it a great place to get some work done or meet up with friends...
I love the atmosphere of Refuge! Great coffee and great service!
Very cool spot
Great coffee and pleasant service.
This coffee shop is the best! Their coffee is really good and their employees are so helpful and friendly. ❤️☕️
Got confused about whether to order inside or out, didn't want to do a walk of shame back outside if that wasn't the right choice, didn't want to go order from the guy outside after having stood there so long debating which to do, left without coffee.
Good coffee, easy to access location, and lots of seating
Great mission and great people.
Always a fave local spot for coffee and pastries. So glad to live near this lovely organization and I love that they do so much work in the refugee community where I live. I wish they opened on Sundays, though!
Great atmosphere and great people. Lovely place to study, meet friends, or attend an event.
I get their coffee once every two weeks. Their tea specialities are out of this world. The owners established this company with a goal of hiring and training refugee immigrants. It's really good to know their purpose. I see a lot of the "immigrants" serving us with fantastic beaming smiles. They even are good at gesturing! They are very attentive and have excellent customer service skills, so unlike the millennials here- always on their phone... Update: I just had their home made iced tea of the day "Ginger soda" and it was OMG PERFECT! Far better than ginger ale. Keep up the good work!
Be a part of their great mission and get caffeine!
Very cool coffee spot!
Awesome Coffee Shop. Bought some cool Christmas things and met some awesome pekple. Even our young one enjoyed it!
It’s really good coffee and serving
This place is great! Great community, wonderful people. Definitely worthy of all your coffee needs!
Coffee was great
It was a wonderful visit full of smiling faces, and kind people. Their kindness resonates, welcomes and transforms the heart. Most memorable coffee house ive ever visisted and the coffee is great.
Love this place. Great atmosphere, Great baristas, Great staff, and they provide so much welcoming for the community.
Friendly staff with cozy atmosphere and community heart
Pretty cool place... But over priced. I paid 3 dollars for a very small coffee.
Love this place! Great coffee, great people, great environment!
Cool off the beaten path coffee spot. Owners were super friendly, the coffee was perfect and what they stand for is quite admirable!
Great coffee with an even greater mission!
So friendly
Great place to meet with friends and chat over coffee or chai (best coffeehouse chai in Atlanta!) Great staff- AND your purchase helps refugees! Win Win!
If you ever have the opportunity to visit Refuge, you should. Great coffee made all the more pleasant by not being available every day.
Visited for a recent event. Thoroughly enjoyed the live music, dancing, and activities for the kids. The coffee, tea, and snacks were delicious!
Such an authentic place. Very laid back.
It good
This place is adorable and the coffee is great!
Really good coffee (I had a latte) and a large interior section with tables in case it's raining or cold. Some really cool art work inside.
My favorite coffee stop, the converted gas station sets this place up for success with the open garage and patio (where the pumps would be) seating. Always friendly baristas who make some of best coffee around and a few pastries to share. Gets even better when the local markets set up and bring people from all over to share in the most wholesome vibes from Clarkston's refugee community.
Great coffee for a cause! This coffee shop not only has good coffee but it employs refugees and immigrants and the proceeds help these communities with job training, language courses, etc.
Was working in the area so i have never been to this place....
Great friendly service good coffee unique atmosphere both inside and out great place to meet and chat always enjoy our time over there in Clarkston
Delicious coffee! Great service. Kitti and Bill are the sweetest. Definitely go!
Awesome coffee, friendly staff, cool vibe
Its ok coffee. I ordered a ham and chesse croissant and it was luke warm.
Amazing coffee! Always our favourite place to stop for a beverage. Great selection and profit goes back into the community to make Clarkston a better place. There's indoor and outside seating if you wanted to relax. Definitely come visit!
Try the frappe mocha! Delish!
Something beautiful happening here. Hibiscus tea was wonderful and I want to move in
What a wonderful place, in so many ways, for so many reasons! Today is the second time I attended the once-monthly 'Game Night' at Refuge, which I highly recommend.
This place is amazing!!! Really great seating in doors and out and you can feel good that your money is going to a worthy cause. Definitely worth a drive!
Amazing. I just like to go and meet different cultures. The drinks are
Had awesome chai latte with a delicious Ham and gruyere croissant.
Amazing area! It's a good place to host events
Went for multi vendor art experience, so they had food as well as their own coffee and stuff. Love the concept and the execution.
I love Refugee. It's got amazing coffee and an adorable work space.
The coffee is fantastic, and the business provides a great benefit to the community. Highly recommended!
Great customer service
My vanilla latte was delicious. Perfect amount of foam and everything. Friendly service. And free wi-fi
If you're not familiar with Refuge, they have a great story. Based in Clarkston, they provide jobs for refugees. The coffee is good, and the atmosphere in Clarkston is great.
Really great coffee, with a welcoming atmosphere. And the fantastic benefit of supporting the refugee community.
I always try to stop by here when I'm in the area. They have an indoor area now so you can get out of the cold. I love their coffee and the people who work there, super friendly.
Great coffee place with an even better mission!
Amazing everything, environment, service. Now I don't drink coffee but no matter who I took there always complained about the coffee. I only drink Tea that was excellent. But it's not Refuge TEA, it's coffee, so I hope they fix up the coffe problem I am hearing about. Else super cool artsy cozy lovely, casual relax spot in the heart of Clarkston.
Knowing this company is 100% refugee assisted... And trade friendly... It's a win-win!!
Really cool spot. Went here for Sofar Sounds and was wow'd. Great atmosphere and good coffee!
Wounded Warrior Project, The Mission Continues, and Catholic Charities of Atlanta hired the Refuge Coffee Co. team to cater our 2nd Annual Veteran & Refugee Family Field Day. It was absolutely amazing! They set up their truck at the entrance of the event in a small community near Clarkston, and they served hot/iced coffee, hot/iced chai tea, and homemade hibiscus/ginger-lime sodas. The adults and kiddos of all ages LOVED the drinks, and couldn't stop going back to the truck for more. They made a really cool event even more awesome and meaningful! Couldn't be more grateful for this team and for what they're doing.
great caring community
Amazing coffee in Clarkston. I love coming here and supporting local refugees. The coffee is delicious, and the space is unique. There’s no true indoor space with an AC — just a enclosed garage space and outdoor seating under the old gas station awning. So embrace the Georgia heat, and cool off with an iced coffee in the shade!
Seriously the most delicious, smoothest cappuccino I've found in Atlanta
Clarkston Ga, the most Diverse Square Mile in America or the Ellis Island of the South. Whatever you call it, it's a Super Cool area with Interesting People from all over. The Refuge Coffee Co. is a spot to enjoy great coffee, tea and pastries while chillin with the Community of the World. Peace (by the way try the Chai Tea)
Good coffee; great mission
Great place to work with great people and great coffee
Just 1 minutes east of I-285 at the Clarkston exit. Stop here on your way thru Atlanta. Friendliest coffee shop in the area.
Literally one of the best poured cappuccinos I've ever had. If you care about coffee, to place is a must.
Great place!
Great Ethiopian coffee. Friendly service Pleasant atmosphere Plenty of seating
Very unique set up. Purchase coffee from food truck then sit in or outside. Coffee was ok. Had Americano. Nothing great about it. Bathrooms were out of order. Seems to be a neat place to hang out and reaches out to international community
It's always time for a "Happy Cappy" with my refugee friends @ Refuge Coffee!
Comfortable and friendly atmosphere
Great coffee! Inviting atmosphere and a great place to meet people of all background.
I don’t work here. I don’t even know a single person that does- but I am so proud of this organization for their stellar work at gathering a workforce and pouring into them. This company sees past language and culture barriers in one of the USA’s most unique communities of refugees! Their actual assistance provides living wage work and pay with actual promise for further development. The folks in the community have seen this place go from a corner gas station to a safe community space for all races to gather, meet, share needs, and connect on a soul level! I couldn’t be more excited for this establishment! We drove four hours one way just to get here and see it because we heard of it. And since then I have sent at least a half dozen locals down to pour into their work. It works- so we support it! You just have to catch the vision for what is to come!
Very cool community of very nice people! I would highly recommend checking it out!
Great customer service experience and quality venue.
Great coffee with a touch to humanity
Great coffee and an even greater mission. Easy to find parking or walk or bike to. Amole outside seating and lots of nice seating inside.
Very good strawberry soda.
I ordered an iced latte and received a drink so sweet I couldn't even stand a single sip. Not a difficult order in my opinion, and what if I had been a diabetic etc. It's just not a good practice to add sugar without asking.
