Smaller park. Various sized dogs. Cute neighborhood. Great place to get some work done, read a book and grab a coffee while your K-9 buddy socializes! (Note: Not much grass in the park and mostly dirt. So your buddy may get dirty)

Ordinary Sue

This is for Harry Rubin - The fact that you mentioned this place as not being a 'charity' clearly defines what kind of person you truly are and you do not need to be around others as your 'ilk' would rub off on others. What does bring your own food and being refused have to do with charity? These people have their OWN FOOD and are not asking for anything so where does charity fit in here? You need a hobby to occupy your time so that you won't sit around pre-judging people especially if you don't even own a dog. You might be one of those people who are miserable and look for opportunities to spew your misery on other people. Get a life and get laid, you clearly are miserable.

Flynn May

Really great cafe. But you should be aware if your is social or nervous: the dog park part was smaller than number of dogs attending. Also not a small dog area I could see so it can be tense for some wallflower doggies that need their space to acclimate to the party. For the humans who want coffee:YUM

Ash Anderson

I love this place. My dog does too. The people are chill and most watch their dogs. Food and coffee is good and reasonably priced.

Dogs.. Beer... Coffee... Good snacks.. What more could you ask for? One of my favorite spots in atlanta to relax

Chris Rankine

Quaint little place to grab a drink and bring the dog

Joshua Martin

Great spot for good coffee and beer and dogs!

Eliana Sustaita

Great place to socialize your doggo

Nate McClure

Great drinks and sandwiches. Awesome spot to grab a drink and chill with the pup.

Nadiya Alhmed Ankara

Love it.

Albert Hopkins

Just awesome. Even the doggy parents are nice! Their food and beer selection was way better than expected. You guys rock!

Dan Westmoreland

Quaint little place with nice staff. Fun place to take your dog and get a fresh sandwich and a beer or wine. I wish it was a grass area but it's like a dirt dog park so if you have a digger or a pup that likes to roll around, it will make them filthy! Other than that, this place is great!

Gavin Tyler

They fired my partner after training him to work here for a month. The previous employee wanted his job back and they gave it to him and fired my partner on the spot. The coffee here is fine. The food is fine. But that is so terrible I will not be coming back.

Brian Chesnut

Great, cozy coffee shop good for reading, studying or enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the dogs play out back. Open fairly late and they serve beer and spirits

Elizabeth Limon

Locally owned coffee shop with a full bar and dog park. Good eats, friendly staff

Kendall Parks

Fun dog park. I wish they cleaned the tables in the dog park section, they are very dirty. It would be better if they put some wood chips over the dirt, it gets everywhere since the dogs kick it up.

tammy lynn tommy

The dogs are adorable and the enviroment is so friendly. If you're having a bad day i reccomend visiting this place. Also i believe there's beer.

Matthew Miller

Great spot. Good food, good dark roasted coffee and a playground for the dogs. It's weird that people rate this one and two star because other dogs picked on their precious little pup!

Lamesha Moore

Great place for my pup and the food is good to do - for a light bite

Rachel

I love the food, service, and atmosphere inside, but the dog park varies by the day and time. My dog is smaller but loves to play. But at least 50% of the time we have to leave pretty fast because other people are not watching their dogs. The sign says no aggressive dogs, but no one seems to monitor or enforce this. Several times I have had to leave before getting ten feet into the gate, let alone leaving her alone in the park to go order food, because the other dogs are being aggressive and their owners either are not paying attention or are inside.

luis barrera

Love this place! Very affordable and delicious breakfast! Very cozy couches and play 19th of books to read! Very nice outdoor spot for yuoir pets to mingle and meet other friends!

christopher leerssen

Good food, great drinks, delicious coffee, fun ambiance. HUGE outdoor space. Bike friendly, local local. Owner lives a few blocks away. Great place. Very unique concept.

Alex Chu

Pretty good breakfast. And a variety of drinks as well! But the best part is the dog park attached to it.

Steve Sherman

My favorite coffee shop in Atlanta, enjoy watching people's dogs like some canine voyeur or whatever. Sort of like a dog park you don't need a dog to go to (which is the illest concept). This isn't about Parkgrounds per se and I'm only writing this because I'm a passive aggressive coward: anyhow, the dude to my left - bald, maybe 50 - is having an extended Skype business call and everyone around him needs to suffer his loud one-way conversation and he's basically the worst person ever and I hope he like spills coffee on his computer and his business fails.

Denise Duplinski

Nice funky neighborhood joint that you can bring your dog to!

Shannon Williams

This is the perfect place. I don't even have a dog, but I love being able to drink a delightful macchiato and watch some puppers play.

Josh Acree

Great neighborhood coffee shop!

Dr. Tee

good spit to eat at under 10 dollars plus you can bring your pet too

Jeremiah Gordon

Stop in and bring your dog for some fun stuff with other dogs. Grab a beer or coffee, and if your hungry grab a bite too!!!

Claudia Canales

I love bringing my dogs here... it’s always a nice time, and I can eat or drink coffee, beer, etc while they play :)

Wes Owens

Great neighborhood coffee, eats and hangout spot.

Ossian & Koda Gibson

Love drink a coke and relaxing under a nice shade tree while the pups play with friends. Great place to do homework while your pup plays

Natasha Singh

My dog's first time at a dog park and he had a blast! Coffee and food were great. They also have a nice variety of seating indoors, patio, and outdoors where the dogs are running around.

Jim Leach

Decent food at reasonable prices, dog park is great at the weekends.

Sean Treiser

Unexpected, but awesome café. Well-made coffee, tasty food, and dogs - what more could you need? Walked into this unassuming place and instantly felt the community. Friendly employees and a super relaxed environment. Comfy couches too!

emeline renz

A spot where I can get a great coffee and let my dog off leash is sheer brilliance! Hoping next time we come back there are other dogs here... (It's pretty early on a Tuesday)

Daniel Hunt

Nice, small dog park. The prices are very reasonable as well. The only downside is the parking. All street parking, with no parking lot that I saw.

Mz TSU

Enter at your own risk! Shoes required: prepare to be lapped by fur babies!! It's a little known dog friendly indoor/outdoor spot that offers a modest menu and a place to socialize, 4 paws and fur included. Well shaded, water bowls, dirt/hay piles, covered patio for ppl only and picnic tables or patio furniture for those whom wish to entertain people and paw'd company alike. It was too overwhelming for my almost 10 year old pooch (sometimes you can't teach an old dog...) but it's a great idea! Get some doggie treats on the menu and you'll have a real winner!!!!

Lauren Gates

Wish there was a place you could order a coffee, or maybe a beer, while your dog plays with their friends? There is! Thank you, ParkGrounds, for being such an excellent neighborhood hangout spot for pups and people alike.

Gary Lai

Lovely place. It’s good to take a seat, have a cup of good coffee and watch your doggy running and playing with others. There is a huge tree in the center of the playground. Seating under its shadow is wonderful in hotlanta during summer. People isn’t sweating, and doggy has fun.

Rebecca Runyon

The coffee is great and being able to get a beer and hang out with my dog is cool. Four stars because the food is not great and the selection is small. As far as the dog park aspect, if you are a responsible dog owner than there are no problems. I love coming here!

Allan Flores

Great place for coffee and just hang

Matt Clarke

Really cool idea to hangout with dogs while getting some coffee and food! Nice little relaxing spot, I only spent about 20 minutes here to see some of the dogs but it was fun.

Keith Devries

Nice little dog park. Excellent food, very pleasant staff. Didn't quite give it 5 because I find it pretty dusty inside. I think they need to shut down for a day or two and do a good deep clean. Other than that, it's one of our favorite weekend spots. I'd suggest that they put in a simple outdoor sink for hand washing.

Lindsey Shoemaker

Absolutely LOVE this place. Coffee is a little pricy, but most definitely worth it for the experience. If you don't like dogs, this is not the place for you. It's basically a coffee shop blended perfectly with a dog park. There are three main areas - inside (completely separated from dogs and air conditioned), the patio (where you are separated from the dogs by a fenced in area), and the dog park (which contains picnic tables if you want to be more immersed in puppy love while getting work done). All areas are well-kept and clean. It seems as though regulars take good care of their dogs and pay attention to them while they are in the park.

Jane

Wow I wish I would of read the reviews before going today! Today I was here with my daughter and our pup. I ordered her some yogurt and a muffin and I brought some carrots and fruit for us. While eating our food the lady came out screaming at us saying I’m sick and tired of “you people” bringing those dogs and your own food here!!! She followed up by telling just me and my daughter we need to leave the premises asap. I’d also like to note another family who was eating out where the dogs play had their own sandwiches and chips but the difference between us two is 1. I bought food from here 2. We are black and they are white and lastly 3. We had a pit bull they had a mut. I was humiliated and had to explain what’s going on to my daughter. Another lady there left with us in disgust. Please beware to my fellow people of color and all dog owners!

Daniel Leach

Used to be a great place to go with the dog, but don't go alone (without another person)! I came this morning with the mutt, and ended up in a conundrum... I can't go inside to order with the dog, and I can't leave my dog unsupervised outside. The blonde behind the counter was happy to tell me many times that the dog can't be inside, but refused to offer any answers or insight on how to solve the problem.

Brooke Witham

Love this friendly, low key cafe pub. Great service and tasty menu.

Jaclyn Colo

GREAT place for your doggos. Outdoor seating is under trees. Cocktails and coffee is great.

Dave Tedder

Hands down this is the best spot in the neighborhood. Excellent service and flavor but more importantly, the best frozen margaritas on this side of town.

Meara H-M

Really the only one of its kind. Cozy inside and a great place for my dog to play while I get some work done.

Michael Evans

I've been to Park Grounds many times with hit-or-miss results. The food and coffee are great; the humans, not so much. Dog owners can be checked out, leading to fights and other shenanigans. I've found the service to be standoffish and slow at times. It's a nice neighborhood joint, but I wouldn't go out of my way to grab coffee here.

Charlie Morgan

Good food and coffee. No other place like it to sit and recharge while the pup runs around. Good spot to meet a friend or sit and do work. Too a break for awhile because the place can get overrun by people oblivious to their dog's super aggressive or super humping behavior, or they just choose to ignore it, dunno. So far so good though with my second chance at it again.

Shelly Singh

Great place to have a latte while your dog enjoys playtime in the attached dog park.

Laura Porter

One of my favorite spots in Atlanta! We take our dog here at least once a week, and he absolutely loves it. The breakfast food is good (and cheap) and they serve Jittery Joe's coffee. Park Grounds is welcoming for all types of people and dogs.

Maisy Lavender

ParkGrounds is nice to take my dog and grab a drink, but some of the owners who bring their dogs here are so bougie and lame. They sit around and gossip about who's dog is doing what all the while their fancy petland dog is tearing it up with the other dogs causing a huge stink. There's no enforcement and nothings done when people bring their aggressive dogs with no training start attacking the other pups.

Ifrah Arif

My dog always has a great time here

Ash Walsh

Love this place

Edward Cole

Very casual, neighborhood (Reynoldstown) cafe/dog park. Indoors, you can hang out and play a board game, outside is an attached dog park. I don't drink but they serve beer (at least). Coffee. Tasty sandwiches. I'm there with my dog(s) frequently.

Shereta Williams

Great neighborhood gem for coffee and breakfast.

Patty Gullick

Love this concept and the food and staff were awesome!

Tina Manwiller

Such a great, fun place! Coffee shop, bar and dog park all in one. This place has such a great neighborhood feel. There's no pretension here. Come casually as you are and just hang out and enjoy yourself. You have the best of all seating and ambience worlds. You can sit inside in air conditioning at cozy tables, you can sit outside under a roof in an outdoor patio or you can sit in the dog park, out in the open. The best part is you can enjoy your latte, cocktail, beer and sandwich in all of these places. And you can do this while your dog runs around the enclosed yard with her new best buddies. This would all be great on it's own and when you add the attentive, friendly service, it's a definite superstar.

Brent A

Excellent food, coffee, and service. Great vegetarian/vegan options. Also DOGS!!!!

Cheryl Dearborne

Cool place to take your dogs off leash. The coffee and staff are fine. We go for the doggos.

Jen

Nice little cafe with a dog run. Very popular. Perfect as a neighborhood spot.

The Golden Life

Today was probably my 10th time coming to Park Grounds. Since the beginning the workers, specifically the blonde girl working the counter, have been very rude and snooty towards me and my friends. Every time I come here I buy coffee, mimosas, Cuban sandwich, yogurt, and all types of food. I’m a loyal customer and despite their lack of good customer service and appreciation for regulars I continue to come because my dog needs to stay active and socialize. Today when I went with my friend another loyal customer and dog mom we were told, by the blonde girl of course, we had to stop eating our lunch that we brought because that’s against the rules. Almost every time I have been here there is always multiple people eating their lunch and have Tupperware. One time there was a group of girls having a whole picnic pretty much! We never feel comfortable here and I hate to say but I definitely believe there is also a race issue. My friend is one of the few black customers that we know and see here and there always seems to be some type of issue or discrepancy. I’m tired of being treated poorly because of people’s personal beliefs and lack of work ethic. It’s not my problem you do not want to work hard! If I continue to give you business I better see a change in attitude. How can you see someone weekly and sometimes days in a row and continue to treat them as if they are less than you? Sickening. I will never be back.

Cabot Lerue

This is my favorite dog park in Atlanta. The park is one section for all size dogs. That's great for me because I have three dogs, small, medium, and large. The coffee is great. I don't drink, but they serve beer and liquor. Everyone who works there seems very friendly. The owner is great. Sometimes the park section is a bit dusty or muddy, but there isn't much to be done about that because there are constantly tons of dogs partying back there.

Chris Massett

Good food/drinks, not sure I'll be bringing my dog back. Some of the dog owners don't really pay attention to what their dogs are doing.

Racoonicorn Photography

I worked here years ago under different ownership that was not good, but under new ownership the only thing that got better was for people. The dog park is a total mess. It's pretty much disgusting. People that visit and stay inside while their dogs are outside are jerks and leaves a mess that never gets cleaned up. Dog parks should always have dogs under supervision from their owners this is not a dog sitting place where you go inside and kick it while your dog leaves poop everywhere. I wish there was just more investment in the dog area it would be great. I know I would be willing to help create a better space for the dogs along with numerous others but until that happens me and my dogs will not be going back. It's a mud pit filled with feces outside.

Brooke Spears

I really cozy coffee place that's a great hangout spot for friends.

jennifer richie

We love this place! We can get good coffee and food while our dog plays under the big oak tree.

Roz Barnes

Love, love taking the pups here! Brutus and Bella had a blast! They brew an awful good cup of chia tea as well!

Callie Clough

I am obsessed with ParkGrounds. No, seriously. My husband and I adopted a German Shepherd mix a little over a month ago. Since then, we've brought her to ParkGrounds almost every day. She knows when we're getting close and whines in excitement. Girlfriend loves her some dog park. I love the size of ParkGrounds. Big enough for lots of dogs to run around but not so big that you lose your dog. It's nice that it's dirt, too. One teeny tiny suggestion - maybe getting a shovel to scoop dog poop instead of the rake. Trying to rake dog poop up is totally gross - but doable! For the most part, the dog owners are responsible (there are boogers occasionally, but for the most part, the dog owners are great). We haven't been able to break our dog of her urge to jump on everyone, but 99% of the people there have not only been cool with it (they agree that it's a dog park, and that is expected to happen) but have offered us some really great advice on how to control the jumping. The staff is THE JAM. Seriously. Nicest bunch of folks anywhere. They're always friendly - always. The coffee? Yum. I'm addicted. The food? SO tasty. (I recommend the BLT. Have mercy, it is delicious.) We are on a tight budget and lots of times, I just get a small coffee. There's never any judgement - just a friendly smile and a delicious cup of coffee. In conclusion... ParkGrounds is where it's at. We will continue to be there every day we can. Thanks to the owner and the staff for making it a great place to be!

Jerry Wang

Awesome find. Chill on patio while dogs play off leash!

Ken Derman

This place is amazing! I'm so happy I found out about it. It is the only place in any city I have been to where I can enjoy a great cup of coffee and let my dog run around and play. What an awesome concept. The owner must be a very dedicated dog owner who drinks a lot of coffee! I hope other's realize what a great service this provides to the dog owner community and keep supporting it. I read a few negative reviews about the park being dirty. Seriously, are you a total douche-tard? Anyone willing to spend their own money to make a park for people to bring their dogs to play off leash should get a medal!

Brandon Schaeffer

Love this place. Great place to let your dog play and grab a coffee, beer, or some food. The dog park is a little dusty but there is a patio where you can watch your dog while eating/drinking pretty much dust free.

Kaley Dunlap

Great spot to bring the pup! I was able to dine, drink, get some work done, and entertain my dog all in one fell swoop. My sandwich was super tasty. Great prices and service.

Robert Taylor

This is the closest dog park to my home, and thank goodness cause it is a great one to go to and have a casual time with your dog. They have a nice selection of brews, teas, and an decent espressos. It is posted that a purchase must be made to use the park. I only give four stars because there is no real enforcement or liability for unruly dogs. There tends to be a few aggressive pets that are left with the rest while the owners go inside and forget their pets. However, that being said most owners are very responsible, and they stay with their pets and make sure everything is fun for all visitors. Great place to meet the neighbors and have a bite to eat and brew with your furry loves.

Nurse Ari RN

Came here a few times and I usual did well with ignoring the stares from people, not many people that look like me come here. But what I can't deal worth is the bad manners owners allow their dogs to have, they are highly unsupervised and I have had to pull dogs off of mine a bit too often. It's too bad because I would've loved for this to be a frequent study spot for me because the staff is nice and food is good and my baby would've been able to play but some of the patrons are a bit rude and dogs are unsupervised and have bad manners.

Brian Standish

Quaint little neighborhood coffee shop with a cool fenced dog park. I had breakfast with a friend. Food was great and so was the coffee.

Kit Plummer

As all the reviews say...cool place for drinks and dogs. Coffee isn't great...so coffee snobs will be disappointed. Atmosphere and dogs cover that well though. Breakfast burrito is yummy! Peeps are great -both the staff and regular parkers.

marc manning

best neighborhood spot - super chill - except the barking ... did I mention the dog park?

christine grace

I love coming here with my dog and the people who work here are so so so friendly.

Iree Skinkle

My favorite place to take my dog. You can go directly to the dog park area in the back and safely let your dog run around for a few minutes while you go inside for a drink or sandwhich. They also have beer which is nice. I really like this place because the people that often go are regulars and everyone's pretty cool. People control their dogs for the most part to make sure they're well behaved so the dogs can run around and have a nice time which you can take advantage of the various outside seating and get some work done or read a book. I highly recommend Park Grounds all my friends.

Vershon Jackson

BEWARE!! This place has horrible customer service and the cafe area is NASTY. I saw 2 ROACHES when I went. The food is mediocre. I had the cuban sandwhich. The bread was dry. I dont feel like people monitor their dogs here either. Dog fights seem to always occur, due to the lack of supervision.

Rebecca Mountain

Not a huge fan of the slow WiFi and broken glass in the dog park, but the food is always good. As with any dog park, your experience will change from visit to visit based on the behavior of your dog and the other dogs at the park. In general, you'll have a fine time if you keep an eye on your dog and don't expect to do much on the internet.

Chuck Meadows

Yes to this place. Comfy, cozy atmosphere, cool crowd. Nice assortment of food & drinks.

Kate McAlister

Happy little dog park and coffee shop. Their breakfast selection is pretty good. I get the vegan bowl with tofu "eggs" and hashbrowns. I ask nicely and get it wrapped in a tortilla. My SO always gets the roast beef on toast and swears that it's great.

Luke

Great local gem. I've been coming here for 7 or 8 years and it's always great. The coffee and breakfast are a perfect start for any morning.

Sean Cyr

The dogs tend to be aggressive, but the coffee rocks!

Hester Furey

I have always loved this little place and will miss it when I move, but I will not miss the pissy attitude of the bitchy red head who works evenings. I have not been in one single time without her letting me know she has issues. Always very nice to men, though.

John Gianoulidis

Coffee. Beer. Shots. Dogs. Nuff said

Jessica Carmichael

This is the most amazing hole in the wall place. Great coffee and a safe space for dogs.

Tyler Harris

I bring my Doberman girl here all the time with my husband. This has got to be one of my favorite places in Atlanta. Nothing like sipping a cold beer and playing fetch with a bunch of puppies! Really good coffee also. I love the vibe. It’s a mix of large and small dogs. And the staff are very friendly <3

Dana Veatch

Great coffee, we hit it up almost every weekend. Floors could use an update but good overall.

Matthew Isaacs

This is a great place to come with the dog for a cup of coffee and a tasty breakfast sandwich. I really enjoyrd the stovall sandwich.

Kip Dunlap

Cute spot! Seems well managed with good food at good prices. Dog area is a little dusty but the pups don't seem to mind.

Charles Beans

Very neat, a nice coffee shop with food, and a great yard for well mannered dogs to play.

Christine Stauffer

Park Grounds us my favorite place in Atlanta! The food is good. Baked goods are delicious. They have coffee AND alcohol. You can bring your dogs because there is a dog park connected to the shop. Best place ever. You can hang out for hours and bring your pups with you. Highly recommended!

Josh Stapp

Basically everything I’ve ever wanted. Very cute and welcoming cafe with great food and coffee and an attached dog park. My only gripe were the other dog owners. People had a tendency to be rude to one another along with the fact that nobody was watching their dog. I watched as countless dogs pooped all over the park and their owners ignored them. Many people walked their dog into the park and disappeared into the cafe for upwards of 45 mins. Very irresponsible owners.

Strong Clarke

Good coffee. Unique options. Cool, mellow vibes. Nice music. Nice peeps. All boxes checked for an awesome coffee shop! I'll be back, thank you!

Quynh Truong

Pretty decent beer selection, good coffee, and nice staff. The pet owners there are hit or miss. Some god awful pet owner let her untrained dog loose without supervision and it tried to grab my small (leashed) dog by the neck. I picked my dog up and the beast gave me a nice nip, thankfully not breaking skin, but leaving a few bruises. Meanwhile the owner clamors on about how her dog is just playful.

Tyler Tillage

Come here all the time. It's a great concept, but they don't put down enough mulch. The park is really dusty/dirty because of that. When it's wet there are huge mud pits. Putting down more mulch would fix that.

Corin Stedman

Nice spot to chill, even if you don't have a dog. Good lunch/breakfast at decent prices... Great bagels and sandwiches. But pastries are too pricey, and the biscuits are no good. Beer and tea are too $$ as well so I only drink coffee. Hot coffee is decent but their iced coffee is quite weak and I do not care for it.

Doraica Aponte

Very inconsistent in the quality of their coffee drinks. First time, great coffee, last week - terrible!

Onaje Oladuwa

Coffee - A Hot chocolate - A- Sandwiches - B+ A freaking coffee shop with an attached dog park...priceless! We live this place. I find the staff, especially the woman who has helped us on Wednesday afternoons to be incredibly patient and congenial. My only wish would be that people would be more attentive to their dogs and make sure to clean up the poop.

Adam Yost

We visit so much, one of our dogs considers it her private yard. I love being able to let them play while I grab lunch and get some work done.

Ryan Stewart

Its a decent coffee shop/cafe with a dog park attached. We have been going there the past few weeks to socialize our dog and its been great. The food/coffee is good, wont blow you away. But its really, really nice to have in order to entertain yourself while your dog plays. That is the key advantage over any other dog park you are going to go to, you can sit and have a beer. The dog park is nice. Completely shaded. There isnt much grass so expect them to get dirty but its a small price to pay for not being cooked in the sun. Every time we have gone there have been a LOT of dogs there. That might not be your thing but its great for us as we are trying to socialize a rescue and a lot of dog parks may be dead or only have a few dogs. Since its a cafe you dont do full service but the staff behind the counter and running the food out have always been good and nice.

Franchesca Winters

My Frenchies love Park Grounds but this place is a complete free-for-all. A lot of people don't look after their pets and it doesn't seem like anyone from Park Grounds is ever monitoring the dog park area so what starts as playful can get rowdy and aggressive real quick. There's a good amount of outdoor seating and the coffee and food are yummy. Most of the dogs are bigger breeds so if your small dog is intimidated easily, this might not be the dog park for you.

Adam Stein

Relaxing atmosphere and great area for the dogs to run around... Needs to pine bark to bring down the dust though!

Connie Taylor

A great concept! My pup loves it here.

5 Minute Flash Warm-Ups

Casual, trendy & friendly. Love that the dogs can play while we enjoy food & beverages. Breakfast menu is in point!

Kaiser's Quest

Cameron Larimore

Wonderful. Loved it

Alex Vinzant

This is such an awesome idea and really well executed. Great place to go relax with your dog and grab a good drink.

Maria Pelleya

Fun dog park and good coffee

Amanda Mcgee

Happy place to take your dog and get yourself a coffee or beer!

Michele Ruffino

Staff was nice but no one watches their dogs. My dog unfortunately got gang banged and no one batted an eye. Cool hang out place but don't recommend always bringing your pup.

Olivia Garner

My boyfriend and I were so excited to take our two pups here! We finally got some time on a weekend to go, and our dogs were so thrilled! After about 45 fantastic minutes of being there, we noticed some broken glass by our table. Within two minutes we found a handful of glass shards, with about 5 different types of glass in there. Needless to say, we found this disturbing and immediately called our dogs to leave. When my boyfriend brought this to the staffs attention, all she said was “This used to be a parking lot, and glass gets unearthed when the dogs play. We pick it up intermittently but there really isn’t anything we can do about it.” While I completely understand the first part, i believe there is absolutely something you can do about it. If you want to run a business of this type, you should take actions to make sure you’re providing a safe environment for your patrons (or in this case their dogs). I understand this is a bar of sorts later in the day, but why do you think they don’t allow glass of children’s playgrounds. I also completely understand that NO ONE BUT I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR MY ANIMALS, but this a condition beyond my control. This is very disheartening, because just ten minutes before we found the glass, we were agreeing on how this should become a routine thing. Unfortunately, we will not be bringing our family back. Looks like we will be stopping for coffee before hitting another park.

Erin Johnson

Coffee is great, selection is better. Dog park is a perk unless your dog isn't well socialized

Tori Robinson

My friend and I were disrespected today at this establishment. I have been many times before. The assistant manager who works here ( the blond lady with the tattoos, Kate) always has an unpleasant spirit about her, but I never had any direct occurrence with her, until today. I brought a pasta salad from home due to my dietary restrictions. She RUDELY TOLD ME that I can not bring outside food in. Before I could give an explanation she went on to curtly say, "Get rid of it." As I stated before I have visited this place many times before and I have seen numerous people bring tupperware of food from home. So when I was approached by this woman I was surprised. I know she has seen me there many times before. I just visited this place yesterday! I felt very uncomfortable. I hate to bring race into this situation but i honestly did feel like she was being RACIST, due to me being a black woman. I am very disappointed because my dog enjoyed playing here with his friends. Park Grounds you really need to take into account who you hire and you should probably strongly consider having some more diversity within your staff. YOU HAVE LOST A FAITHFUL CUSTOMER.

It's a dog park with food, coffee, BEER AND MARGARITAS. I come here all the time to see people's cute dogs since I don't own one. I rarely see dogs fighting. I've met many nice strangers. I noticed some negative reviews complaining about not being able to bring outside food so I felt compelled to write this review. Remember people it's not a public dog park. It's a coffee shop with a dog park. Please respect that they are not a charity.

I have 2 pitbulls that are very well behaved and are both service dogs. While attending this park, the staff was EXTREMELY rude to me. They told me to be sure to keep an eye on my dogs. They did not tell any other customers to do that. Remember these are trained service dogs, no aggression at all. I will never return, please talk to your staff.

My puppy loves park grounds, plus there are vegan choices on their menu!

Crystalline Entity

I really love coming here with the dog I watch! The inside space is inviting and artsy, the employees are friendly, and the dog area is a good size with steady traffic - lots of nice pups coming and going! I will definitely be frequenting this Atlantean anomaly!

I appreciate the concept. No dogs on patio which they say is a health code thing although there is a trash can used for dog waste on same patio and patio wasn’t that clean. Staff was very friendly and quick. Food was just ok and a little pricey. Some owners don’t pick up after their pets which ruins these places for everyone else unfortunately

Grabbing a beer while my dog played with other dogs. Possibly one of the best ways to spend an afternoon

Matt Lunalover

There are few places were you can have a yummy sandwich, beer, coffee, or a pastry all with your pup in a dog park. The atmosphere is chill and fun with friendly patrons. The down side is that the park is all mud and poorly kept up.

Henry Bernreuter

Over priced drinks. You can get drunk while your dog plays, thats it

JP Holdsworth

Great place to work remotely without feeling bad about not walking your dog. They have some great coffee (Jittery Joes) and pretty good food for breakfast or lunch.

I like the idea of food and drink (both coffee and beer) WITH my dogs, but was a little disappointed. It's more for people than for energetic dogs. The dog area is small and crammed, so don't expect to throw a ball. This is where I would go AFTER going to a real dog park like Oakhurst. Coffee and service was really good.

Pat Peterson

Basically the best concept ever. Little to no parking, but there's normally room on the street. Great place to unwind or get some work done while tiring out the fur babies.

Joe Reach

Fantastic food and very nice staff. Love the connected dog park.

Kyle Woodlock

Cute Reynoldstown cafe and bar, with a dog park attached! Good hot food menu too. Friendly staff!

Love this place. Great coffee and super yummy food - one of my favorite breakfast burritos

Megan Heaney

Love taking my pups here to play while I work and grab coffee or sip on a brew. Great neighborhood spot.

ParkGrounds is really a lovely local spot. It's a cafe/ dog park, which is brilliant. They offer light faire which is all pretty good. Good coffee, good beer. Very pleasant

My home away from home where I can get grade A customer Service, decent food, and let my dog play!

(This is my 100th yelp review, by the way!) I was so glad to find Parkgrounds! I've been twice with my dog, and I plan to keep coming back. It's a great option for a dog park, because dog park + coffee = awesome. I've come only on Mondays during the day, and there's always been enough parking on the street. On the dog park side of things: I noticed that there are a few regulars who come to the park with their dogs, but I did not notice any pack mentality between the dogs. Everyone kept a good eye on their dogs and would intervene if needed. Everyone was very understanding and helpful with the other dogs and notified one another of any problems or concerns. One lady noticed a scratch on a dog that wasn't hers and found the dog's owner to tell him. I've seen 3-12 dogs there at a time. There are benches and tables and chairs out in the dog park, too, which is nice for the owners. There are trash cans and poop bags for everyone to use, and there's a spigot and two large bowls for water for the dogs. I've refilled them myself before, because with all the dogs around, the water can get dirty. The ground in the dog park is a lot of dirt, and now that it's fall, there are a lot of leaves. Be aware that your dog will likely get dirty, so being a clean up towel or something for your dog to sit on on the way home if you need to. My dog has short hair, and I haven't had a problem, but I've seen vey hairy and fluffy dogs get covered in leaves and some mud. The coffee shop side of things: There's an outdoor porch separated from the dog park by wooden gates where you can be out in the elements but still away from the dogs. Inside the coffee shop building itself, it's all pretty standard as far as a coffee shop goes. I've had friendly interactions with 3/4 of the staff I've been in touch with. I'm no coffee connoisseur, and I've enjoyed the cafe au lates I've had and the challah French toast. There are tables, a bar, and chairs to sit at. There are books to read. There is booze to drink. I think the booze and the dog park help Parkgrounds stand out among the other coffee shops around town. Being a dog owner, I come for the dog park, and I'd recommend anyone else to do the same. I noticed one reviewer mention the dog poop at the park being so close to your food. Dog people probably won't mind, honestly; that's how my own apartment is every once in a while. If the animals offend you, stay inside the building. In Korean dog cafes, the dogs and humans and cafe are all in one room ~together~ which I really enjoyed, so I definitely have no qualms with dogs nearby, and I doubt most dog people would, either.

Great neighborhood bar and sandwich shop. Great place to bring a small friendly dog and meet some new folks. Not for crowds. Locals only.

Royal Allen Wenzel

Great coffee, awesome baked stuff, chill atmosphere. Artsy and totally non-pretentious. Friendly baristas, too.

I bought a muffin from here and as I sat down to eat it, I noticed something fuzzy under the wrapping. It was greenish/black- I almost vomited. I called the manager over and she refused to give me a refund, saying I did it??? How would I have done that?! This place is disgusting & I’m warning my coworkers since we’re right around the corner.

Hannah Waggerman

This is the only place in Atlanta where I can study AND bring my hyperactive terrier. Good coffee, cute dog park, and great vibe.

T H

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place (and so does my dog). They have great sandwiches and it's amazing that all of the dogs get along so well. I have NEVER seen a dog fight here and have been several dozen times. Take my word for it, your pooch will have a blast!

Andrea Marban

Charming and dog-friendly. The perfect neighborhood coffee shop.

Amanda Elaine

Coffee was good, food was delicious, atmosphere was great. Very smart idea to have a dog park connected. Makes it very easy for people to enjoy their lunch and coffee while watching their dog play in the background.

Audrey Allen

This is a very relaxing environment to get some work done or just talk with a friend. You do not need to have a dog. The employees are funny.

Madeline Irene

This is such a cute gem. A dog park with great coffee and food!

Alex Shindnes

This place is one of a kind. My pup loves coming here and playing with the other dogs. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito. ParkGrounds also has free WiFi and alcohol.

Your Home Sold Guaranteed - Shayne McClain

A great place to bring the 4 legged family members.

Carter Shadden

I don't own a dog but I love coming here to drink coffee and watch the pups play.

Wobby Funkel

Awesome place to bring your pupper and have a meal. Great food, great coffee, great service, and very friendly employees.

M Naeger

Nice idea but not impressed. Dirt area with holes and unclean/unkempt areas. Ok inside, not outside. Fenced looked very old, tables were also old. Dogs of all sizes play together and many dog owners do not watch their dogs closely or at all. Lost my appetite and left in less than hour after the larger dogs kept humping each other...sometimes 3 in a row...and depending on where the dog was in the line...some owners got angry...some did nothing at all.

Carson Christiansen

Best dog park in the city. Killer food, amazing coffee, and the dog park is always clean due to the efficiency of the super friendly staff.

anne anncurtis05@hotmail.com

Great food, great pricing, great staff! I have breakfast here once a week!

Rebecca Beasley

Coffee was good, dog park patrons are useless when it comes to watching their own dogs.

Paxton Thomas

Super fun, lovely place for dogs and humans alike.
