This was perfect for our 2.5 and 9 month old to eat Sunday morning breakfast. Friendly staff, great French Toast and the self serve hazelnut coffee was delicious. The bacon was really good too!

Panera by another name. Hard-working staff makes up somewhat for assembly line of cookie cutter products. Food is mostly decent to good. But on busy mornings the dishes and dirty tables pile up. "Crisp" (toast?) inedible. Prices high but location convenient to the area.

My friend and I were in town from out of state and after we walked around we decided to go here... and we loved it!! I had an everything bagel (the seasoning was SO good) and my friend had a caeser salad. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere!

Today 7.24 I placed a order via grubhub for a pick up of 12... needless to say I didnt get out of my meeting until 1pm. When I arrived it was not in the pick up location I asked a employee as I was talking to him the manager said hey your nick with...and told me my order! Wow! Rush hour for lunch and you remembered my whole order and knew where it was. She was amazing. About a hour later I came back for a large soda.. AGAIN SHE REMEMBERED MY NAME...engaged with me and made me smile! wow I must say I'm very sorry for not remembering her name but shes tall and i believe managment. SHOT OUT TO HER AND HER PROFESSIONAL FRIENDLY MANNERS! 5 stars to her!

Came here with my friend for lunch. We had coupons for the pick 2 - she has soup and sandwich which they put on the same plate. Soup splashed onto her sandwich on the way to our table. Waitress apologized, she said she guessed they were out of plates because they shouldn't have plated the meal like that. Other than that, a typical corner bakery cookie cutter meal.

Corner Bakery Cafe absolutely must be a franchisee of Panera. What was on the menus, the half orders, the number system for delivering meals all down to drink choice were EXACTLY like Panera Bread. Panera is a fine choice, just don't be deceived by a different name on the building.

Not a good start to the morning. The place was very busy, and they were running out of everything, including milk substitutes. The desserts were not too good either. However, the workers were still very polite and helpful despite being overwhelmed with customers. All in all, a decent place with fairly cheap prices,but dont go when it is very busy.

A) this is not really a bakery B) the food was a slightly worse version of Panera's menu. Do not come here for breakfast as there are no real breakfast options beyond an egg bowl, which was clearly not thought out beyond "lets put eggs in a bowl". I love corner bakery the food is great for breakfast or lunch. I would only warn they close relatively early. But I work across the street so I just order lunch online and in 15 min I can run and pick it up. Very convenient. It can be a bit pricier than some of the other options in the are but not bad for how good it is. Try the pick 2 they give you a lot of food. And the cinnamon crumb muffin in the morning is delicious.

CBC has a good atmosphere. I placed my order, and received it within a few minutes. I liked that the salad was made fresh. The booth I sat at had a few crumbs on the table. I switched sides and ate on the clean side of the table. I would recommend eating here again for a light meal.

I placed a delivery catering order for my organization. We all know Atlanta traffic can be chaotic, the Catering Manager Tara was sure to contact that the driver would be 10minute behind. When placing an order, I didn't realize the description for the Uptown Turkey Avocado included bacon and I embarrassingly learned 3 of my staff did not eat pork; Tara willingly remade the sandwiches and had them delivered. This is excellent customer service and I cannot thank her enough!

The food was ok and the service was good (for the most part)—the two stars are for that. What was terrible was getting locked out of this establishment over an hour before their closing time for no reason. It’s one thing to lock so no new customers can come in when it’s around closing hour, but the doors were locked both ways. When my spouse who was still in there let me in, we were told (by a snarky employee) that we would need to let them know next time.... I’m unsure of what that even means. The next time I step out for a phone call, I need to notify them about the fact that I’ll need to come back in 10 minutes? Or that I can’t step outside and expect to come back inside? Interesting. We were surprised we didn’t have to ask permission to leave. I recommend people grab a meal elsewhere where they won’t be casually locked out (or locked in).

corner bakery is a delightful eatery that serves an assortment of pastas, sandwiches, salads, and baked goods. The food meets expectations. I take away a star because the service is sometimes hit or miss. sometimes food takes longer than you would think to be prepared, and a few times they forgot our order.. bit by and large I have had good experiences. the view of the Captial from the outdoor seating is nice. lastly, don't forget to try the hibiscus lemonade. A great stop for a quick snack or coffee, or for a reasonably-priced lunch. Corner Bakery is usually quite busy during weekday lunches as the office crowd comes in, and has good options for both vegetarians and omnivores. The cold brew is very good, and I recommend the tomato soup for any time of the year.

This was my first time to a Corner Bakery Cafe and if the rest of the menu items are as delicious as the Rustic Italian Panini that I tried they have a customer for life. It has most if not all the same meats that an Italian sub has but in this Panini it becomes a gastronomical delight.

Terrible customer service. I ordered delivery and the restaurant shorted me some food. When I went to the restaurant, the manager refused to give me the missing food or help me in any way. They had no problem with taking money for food they didn’t deliver. The manager told me to talk to Grub Hub, who did the delivery. GH called the restaurant and got put on indefinite hold. Absolutely unacceptable.

This is a neat place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch meal. You place your order at the counter and then they deliver your food to your table. The service was relatively good considering it was a busy morning. The food was great, I had steel cut oatmeal and my partner had the eggs and potatoes. I had a few of the potatoes and they were very flavorful. The prices were reasonable. Our meals with beverages was about 20 dollars.

Honestly had an awful experience here. We came with a relatively large group, about 11 of us, well after the breakfast rush and before the lunch rush. The food took absolutely ages to come out, one of us ordered a salad and it took 37 minutes for it to show up. The food over all was below average in taste, the worst part was that his salad had chickpeas in it that tasted like they were fished from the trash can last week. The break was thinner then paper, the pancakes were overcooked and rather firm. The eggs honestly takes like they we're instant with a bit of food coloring. Very disappointed with the food here. While we were still eating one of the servers came around and started collecting plates and bowls and TWO they grabbed, the person wasn't even done eating. I will not be back after that fiasco.

I'm updating this review from 3 stars to 4 stars. My parents and I did not have the most pleasant experience first time we visit this place because the person who was bringing food to the table dropped a set of utensils on my mom but did not even ask "are you ok". To be fair he did really really quietly murmured some word after quite a few seconds which I'm hoping was "sorry" but my impression was that he did not care about my mom, like at all. Except for that, food was good, we went back there couple more times (mainly because we stayed din the hotel next door). hands down a good place to have a quick delicious meal.

Counter ladies are really nice but don’t waste your money on the food. They upcharge for every little thing and it’s not even good quality. No No NO. PLEASE READ- I used to frequent this location as I work in the building next door and the food is good. BUT, I walked in today(5/31) to grab a soup to go. A lady had walked to the counter from her table with a bowl in hand saying it wasn't what she thought it was going to be and she wanted to get something else. I realized a few moments later that they had dumped that in to a to go cup and re-sold it to me!! I asked the cashier if they had just given me that lady's soup, and he said "Yes" in a very unashamed way. The manager who was standing at the line wouldn't even make eye contact with me as the cashier told him I requested a fresh one. Disgusting!! How many other dishes that have been taste tested, touched, sneezed on, eta have been brought back to the kitchen and re-sold? With the flu being so serious this year, this seems very irresponsible. Not to mention the food is not exactly cheap. For $5.50 I shouldn't have to share a bowl of soup with another patron.

I drive Lyft as a side job. I came in at 3:20 pm on a Sunday to get a bite. I sat down to wait for my lunch (half sandwich soup and salad) The order came back wrong, I was also told to move from where I was sitting to sit in an area closer to the door. I wasn’t given silverware. The sandwich contents were thrown together bread was hard. Then all of a sudden the music was turned off- I then realized they closed at 4pm! I have never experienced such a terrible service here on Capitol Hill! I just asked for a to go container and walked out.

Chose the Pick2 half sandwich/half soup - Chicken Pomodori and Tortilla Soup - Soup was good, can't really mess that up - Sandwich was a mess. Asked for extra sliced tomatoes, they charged for the tomatoes - no tomatoes on the sandwich when I got back to the office. Super Skimpy on the chicken too. All in all, not worth $10. 3 stars for friendly service, but not much attention to details.

I truly love Corner Bakery but I guess I had ordered something quite plain this time. I ordered the Anaheim Panini which was more like an egg sandwich. My husband and were visiting from Boston and we searched on Google for some good breakfast spots near our hotel. We were staying at W Chicago City Center and our first choice was a spot right in the Riverwalk but when we went there it was jam packed. So we decided to try this place and we were so happy we did! It was still busy but not enough where you have to wait for a table. I got something simple which was Pancake and eggs but they were literally the best pancakes I've ever had. The edges had this very light crisp which made them so yummy. I love that you walk up to the counter and order your food and pay and then go pick your own seat and then the waitress will bring you your food. I am still here in Chicago and I think on my last morning here I will go back and have breakfast again..

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I ordered catering from this location for a 2-day workshop for my client and the staff was consistently rude to me and outright incompetent. I placed a series of six orders with this Corner Bakery location over the phone and not a single one of them was correct upon delivery, making my company look bad to our client. The first delivery was for a morning coffee, hot tea, and bagel service. They delivered the completely WRONG order and then tried to tell me that the food not being correct was MY fault for not looking over the catering invoice prepared by them more closely. I maintained the original for my records, and the catering slip that was handed to my client had a completely different order number and list of items than the original. When I asked for a refund because the food delivered was not what was ordered, I was rudely informed that the mix-up was my fault and that I should have been more vigilant. In addition, the driver who arrived with the food didn't have a driver's license and therefore could not enter the building my event was being hosted at. The second delivery was correct in terms of the items ordered; however, there were not enough napkins, plates, and cutlery for everyone. We were catering for a 45 person event, so there's no excuse to me why there should not have been enough plates. When I called to complain about this and ask for compensation, I was told that my client was obviously just "greedy" and that there was no possible way that there weren't enough settings for 45 people. The third delivery was again correct in terms of the items ordered; however, the items on the invoice my client was provided with didn't match what we had originally ordered. All of our orders for the second day of the event were correct; however, they consistently mislabeled the ordered tea and coffee services. As a result, my client didn't end up serving the beverages because of allergy and caffeine sensitivities, a waste of nearly $300. In all of this, they must have charged my corporate card a million times, because our banking institution called to confirm that the series of charges was not in fact fraud. In addition, I called several times asking for invoices to confirm what was being charged on the corporate card to ensure we were staying within our event budget, given that nothing we actually ordered seemed to be making it to the venue. I consistently was told I would receive updated invoices that were never sent. It took me calling 6+ times in one day to finally get a refund for the incorrect food that THEY delivered and to get an updated invoice for the charges placed on my corporate card. Even still, they only refunded me for a beverage charge of $30 despite their consistent poor service and hospitality. The only saving grace for this place was the evening catering manager I spoke to. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful. As a rule, I would not recommend doing business with this location. Every catering manager and delivery person aside from the evening manager was rude, combative, defensive, and unhelpful. I will not be doing business here again.

We came here for a quick lunch between museums as our family generally likes Corner Bakery's. This place was run very well. Lots of people but very quick to get us through the line and get food to us. The food was good as expected. Very good location near Union Station. We'll be back.

Ordered the DC chicken salad sandwich to go. Was not busy at all so I was surprised to find that when I sat down to eat outside the restaurant, the entire sandwich had completely fallen apart inside the plastic container. It looks like someone basically just threw a scoop of chicken salad and tomatoes next to each of slice of bread and called it a day. Maybe use toothpicks to keep it together or be a bit more careful making the sandwich to begin with. Was inedible and a waste of $9... I’ll stick to potbelly’s from now on.

As a tourist I was needing a ‘full’ breakfast with protein, not just coffee and pastries. I was pleasantly surprised to find both here at very reasonable prices. I was a little confused with the coffee ordered, they didn’t bring it with my panini sandwich-was I supposed to pick it up directly from the barista? I went back to the barista, he said ‘no problem’ and filled my order on the spot, no hassle in rechecking my order or payment. Service excellent, good attitude, good food, quick service in spite of being busy. Definitely will go back.

Also they mever brought us a sandwhich until.multupe times of us asking and when they finally did they said sorry we were out of the bread that it came on and apparently they did not know what to do. Every single time I order from this location there is a problem. Every time. I work at AmericasMart and whenever we're in town numerous times a year, we order and have to always go back to the bakery because they always forget something or give us the wrong dish or something. It's getting ridiculous. Half the time the cashiers have ghetto attitudes. The chubby lady who hands out the food once your carryout is in a bag during lunch hours is rude. I get so tired of ordering, getting back to the office & our order is wrong or something is missing. So then we have to walk back. Good fun, but not the brightest staff. Get it together people. It's not that difficult.

I come here fairly often since it's close to where I work. The food isn't bad for the price, but the service is absolutely awful. Even if no one is ahead of me in line, I often have to wait 20 or 30 minutes to get served. That's right, a half hour wait for a sandwich! It's probably because the staff is never on task. While they leave the cash registers and kitchen unmanned, you can see them chatting and taking breaks even during high traffic hours. If you value your time, it's probably best to try any of the other similar cafes around the loop.

Great breakfast sandwiches! Perfect place for a group of people. We had a short breakfast meeting with about 15 people and had plenty of room. They have plenty of seats outside too. The reason I gave only 4 stars was the bathroom. The toilet paper roll was just laying on the baby table. The floors were wet and sticky. Hardly any soap.

Great choice with friendly service at fair prices, with operations that are not running smoothly at all, screwing up the whole experience. After a long wait, our order came incomplete ....and cold (we had a good view on the kitchen, the plates had just been sitting there untouched). We got them back but the food was rather tasteless (we realized only later that it was our food we had seen her reheating in the microwave!). On top of that, they still had our order wrong. A visit to the toilets revealed the lack of good management: they were really gross, sticky floors, ...etc (hygiene sub zero). If we would have visited the toilets before eating we would never have eaten there at all.

A colleague recommended this place for breakfast, and I’m so glad he did. The food is terrific - super fresh, quality ingredients, made to order. Coffee is excellent, and lots of seating. I found the prices completely reasonable (especially considering the breakfast prices in the areas hotels). I liked the setup (order, find a table, food is brought out to you), although next time I’ll have to try the online ordering. I typically spent an hour here enjoying my breakfast, and the place got super busy... but the service wasn’t affected - it arrived within 10 minutes of so, sometimes sooner. If you’re in a rush, try the online ordering. If you’re not, grab a table outside and enjoy the morning!
