This is my special treat place- for me and my dog, who gets free bacon! I drive 35 minutes for a biscuit and coffee. But they are unlike anything else in Oglethorpe and Madison County and there is no substitute! Friendly and kind service makes us feel special. Lawn chairs for hanging out and free smiles.

I stopped here because of all the good reviews I saw about them. I'm confused. The biscuits were from a can. It was ok but not great like people have said. $5.00 for a biscuit is way too much Guess I should've gotten the donuts and coffee I probably won't stop here again

I got "the Buscuit" this morning, with Bacon, Cheddar, Scrambled Eggs, Grape Jelly. So, I like to eat mine in layers. The top half was my main meal, the bottom was my dessert. It was Delicious! I would have posted a picture of it, but I ate it all!

Amazing doughnuts & coffee in the middle of the country. The rotating flavors are great, and keep things from falling into a rut. You'll pay a bit more than some other cafes, but the quality makes it worthwhile.

Nice folks, and great breakfast choices. I saw where one other reviewer was complaining of pricing - and he's completely wrong. I found the breakfast pricing to be comparable to any other breakfast around town, if not cheaper. I loved the biscuit. Can't wait to try some donuts, as we arrived for a late breakfast and they were out. Anyway, we'll be back...and I suggest that people try this place!

The Biscuit comes standard with bacon or sausage + egg, cheese, and jelly. Coffee is amazing and the customer service is exemplary. It is a drive-thru only establishment.

Food is awesome, but pricey. I got their sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. They add strawberry jam to thw biscuit. Its different and flavorful; something I might do from now on. The downside is their pricing... I paid 5.35 (after tax) for just a biscuit. Similar breakfast places in Athens charge 3.50 or so for the same thing. I will eat here again, but at that price it won't be on a regular basis.

This place is perfect for anyone commuting between Athens and Oglethorpe/Wilkes county. Right off 78, within five minutes I was able to stop, grab coffee and doughnuts, and be back on my way to work. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The cappuccino was excellent, one of the best I have ever had, and the donuts tasted like they came straight from my grandma's kitchen. Oglethorpe was in desperate need of a local place like this and Cafe Racer has definitely risen to the occasion.

Not only is Cafe Racer the best coffee and biscuits going in Arnoldsville, they're the only coffee and biscuits going on in Arnoldsville along that lonely Athens commuter's stretch of Hwy 78. Count it as a good thing. They've got good friendly fast service with the pluckiness and grit that only a young entrepreneur that loves his work brings.

SLOW SLOW SLOW!!! Good biscuits, but SO SLOW. Got there with 3 cars in front of us and it took OVER 30 minutes. If the employees were more worried about taking orders and cooking food, and less worried about the animals in the vehicles it may be a little faster.

Cafe racer is a drive up breakfast restaurant. The are only open in the mornings during the week. Perfect place to grab coffee, biscuits or donuts before work or school. Owners are amazingly nice and provide fast service. The coffee is great and they offer several flavors or add ins to customize it to your liking. They make homemade donuts and have new flavors often. I have not tried anything there that has disappointed! A little pricey but still reasonable esp considering the quality!

Killer donuts, good coffee, nice dudes, pictures of doggos. This place is a little shack about 10 miles east of athens and it's definitely worth the short drive out there for the best donuts in the area. Highly recommended

Stopped by today for the first time on their soft opening. I have been eyeing this place since I first saw the sign. By the time I arrived, they were almost all sold out of goodies, but what I did have was AMAZING (donut holes and a latte). The guys are sweet as pie and make a mean cup o joe. Definitely worth a quick jaunt down the road for some caffeine. Thanks for bringing some deliciousness to the area. ❤️

Saw this place on my way to the animal hospital this morning. So I decided to stop and see what they were all about. I ordered a latte and the sausage biscuit. My goodness people that was the best biscuit I have had in years. Even the latte was just amazing it wasn't too sweet it was just right it was great. Do yourself a favor and stop in here for breakfast. The owners were so friendly and upfront about what they had and even offered me suggestions on what I should get. I will be coming to this place for a long time in the future! I highly recommend these guys!

This is a great little drive-thru spot to grab a biscuit, doughnut, or both. I tried both. The service was outstanding - the guys there are very friendly. They obviously care about their product and customers, and it shows. Coffee was fresh and hot. I use a refillable cup which they were happy to fill for me. Mot all places will, so I appreciated that. Homemade doughnuts were as they should be - fresh and not mass produced. I had only intended to get doughnuts and coffee, but when I saw the biscuit on the menu, I figured I'd better try it. Great stuff! They get it hot so the cheese is melty, and there was a really good amount of cheese - not the cold slice of velveeta as an after thought that you get from a mass produced chain. And since some people have addressed price, let me say that I felt the biscuit was significantly bigger than other places - definitely much bigger than chain restaurants. Besides, I'd rather my food dollar support a local business. My trip was a scouting mission for other family members since we drive through this area on our way to Athens. We will definitely be back for more!
