They are so great with details! I got 4 shots with Chai and almond milk over ice and the best vegan chocolate banana muffin that you can ever imagine! There food menu is extensive and the ambiance makes you want to stay until they close. What an eclectic coffee house, wow!!!

Coffee was so watered down. Over priced for mediocre food and drinks. The decor is nice, if not very hipster. My boyfriend and I sat down with our drinks, took one sip, and walked out without our drinks. Went to Dunkin donuts next door, where they use more then one bean to brew their coffee.

Love the asthetic. The ceilings have modge podge scrapbook clips of different celebrities drinking coffee. The decor is a neat blend of antique/reclaimed furniture and couches. They have a nice selection of baked goods and meals, and their drinks are made fresh. If I'm being honest, I really dislike the taste of their ice coffee, but I love their espresso and most of the food choices.

We had lunch here. While I can recommend the coffee, tea, and some desserts here, the food was uninspired and reminded us of why we rarely eat out. It took almost 30 minutes to get a chicken salad and a tuna melt. Neither were very good. I went back to packing lunches.

Indoor, covered, and uncovered patios available for your enjoyment of freshly roasted-on-location coffees. A selection of craft beers are available as well but are not very popular during the day.

This place is by far the best coffee shop in Delray Beach that I've been to. The music is phenomenal, they roast their own coffee beans and the wifi is freaky fast. Did I mention the music is incredible? Less than $3 for a delicious double espresso that you watched them roast.

Cozy small room with roasting machine visible. Friendly staff with good pastries. Coffee is TERRIBLE AND BITTER, WORST CUP IN DELRAY! They either can't roast coffee properly or they buy garbage beans, maybe they need new management at the store. I don't understand why people gather there, must be the atmosphere .

Good coffee. We went two days in a row and both times the coffee was very smooth. The service is pretty slow though. Both days one person would take one order and then make the order. It was fairly inefficient.

Not a bad place but consumers are crying out for sustainability! Please give us better options than plastic. There is nothing worse than seeing people sit down and dine in with their single-use plastic cups and containers when you could just wash a glass and a plate instead! So disappointing.

This place is THE bomb dot com. Favorite place to study/meet people/hang out in the N Boca-Delray area. The baristas are so chill & kind, making the environment feel more like a living room than a coffee bar. The vegan treat options are lacking, but the kitchen, which stops at 5p, is truly delish. Options for everyone, all around. The coffee quality here is superb and the kombucha on tap adds a funky diy vibe to the place, but I have to admit, what keeps me here the longest is that they’re open until 12a on te weekdays and 2a on the weekends.

I went with my family to get a smoothie and a latte. Note: an art festival was happening and it was very crowded. My mom's latte came out in around 10 minutes, which, considering it was crowded, is fine. Then, it seemed that they forgot about our smoothie. It took 40 minutes to get the smoothie! The smoothie was good enough, but they should at least warn us that it might take a while! Also, there were only 3 people working back there! Overall, terrible service but okay food. I wouldn't come here again!

My experience was a disaster. It began at 9:50 on a weekday, the line of customers is out the door, service is slow, and everything is piled up. We ordered food and coffee, and instead of actually telling us what they had made the barristas just placed completed orders in the window. Frustrated customers were just taking whatever was made in a frenzy after waiting so long. We eventually took something that looked like what we ordered. I'm pretty sure my coffee order is incorrect, but I don't want to brave that line to get it fixed. The food was good though. I had the deluxe breakfast sandwich, my wife the fruit, yogurt, and granola. The fruit we didn't order, but I think they threw it in when after having to remake it when someone took our first order. We are unable to remove the dishes from our table because the stand to collect dirty dishes is stacked up like a Jenga game. This is our third attempt at this cafe, and likely our last. They were 2 of 3, with the only good experience being an in-and-out to-go order in the early afternoon.

Doesn’t live up to its name. They offer only plastic cups and plastic straws, all of which have a serious adverse impact on the environment. How can a place call itself “Subculture” and do that kind of damage to marine life??? I was able to choose ceramic for my capicinno and the food was good. And the service was lovely.

They NEVER get my order right. I hate being the person telling my food preparer that my order is wrong. I spend at least 15 minutes waiting for a simple sandwich order, and there is usually something missing. Also, the lines are long and slow and you can’t read the lunch menu while standing in line which really sucks when you’re pressed for time.

Very artistic and mellow vibe. It had all the feelings of a grassroots coffee shop that I have come to love as an avid partaker of java. The outdoor seating with a view of Atlantic ave and the indoor setting were comfortable and inviting. I ordered the macchiato and I must say I appreciate the smoothness and depth of the flavor. It was not bitter at all and did not require the addition of any ingredients to make it enjoyable as a great cup should. The service was also quick for the traffic that the establishment seems to attract. However, there was a very present flavor of blueberry to this brew that I did not prefer. I would have enjoyed it better had that not been incorporated into the flavor. Perhaps if there is a different blend, I would return, but while the quality was to standard, the taste profile was not.

I just moved to Delray and buy my coffee beans here. Fresh roasted is a must and their coffee is great. I find subcultures prices to be a bit higher than other roasteries. Sometimes the beans are near 2 weeks old which is the point where they go stale.

No parking, plus unwelcoming staff. A bad experience. 1 start because coffee was okay. Our table was filthy and when we brought this to the staff's attention, we we're handed a cloth to wipe up the table. It was not that busy that a customer should be responsible to clean your establishment. Shame on you subculture.

The coffee is not consistently the best. Their espresso, depending on who makes it can be completely watered down and shittingly embarrassing. Other times it has the most velvety crema on top. But overall, its a great place to go and get work done on your laptop around a very interesting social environment while getting jacked up on caffeine and maybe enjoying some delicious food. Their food is great quality.

Best coffee place off the ave by far. The staff are helpful and friendly, the store feels very open and the decor has some nice, kitschey features, and the coffee is excellent. The food is the only minor gripe. While the empanadas and desserts are usually always excellent, the sandwiches and sides can be a bit underwhelming. The side options in particular, while usually having variety, lack distinct flavor. But when all is said and done, it's an excellent place to have coffee and a snack, while doing work or relaxing with friends.

Got an Italian sandwich. Very little meat in the sandwich and the 'baguette' was very small. Not worth the $10 dollars paid and you can get a much bigger and more satisfying meal for less or the same price elsewhere. Staff seemed more interested in flirting with the young girl behind the counter than serving customers or even providing forks to eat with.

My friend given a card for multiple purchases and I many years older was not. 17 dollars for less than a pound is steep for good but not fantastic coffee. I like most an Ethiopian blend with a berry flavor. Delicious when served with dessert.

So disappointed! I pretty much revolved my whole day around being able to go into a coffee shop and get some work done while I sipped some delicious coffee and maybe noshed on a salad or sammy. Welp - after going to 2 other coffee shops in Delray only to be told - NO FOOD - (for various and sundry reasons!) I googled other coffee shops near me and came upon Subculture Coffee that advertised "late-night food." Yay! Welp - nope. Denied! Imagine my disappointment to hear that the "kitchen closes at 5!' I would have been there earlier but - see above and the strike outs there! I figured this would be a safe bet since that's the advertisement, not to mention it doesn't say that anywhere on their website. So instead of a late lunch, I'd have an early dinner. Deeee-nied! The staff was nice enough but it just wasn't what I wanted to do. So - no work, no food, no coffee. Totally wasted, disappointing day!
