This used to be a "Latin America" It was awful, the food was great but the place was old and dated and not the best kept. Waitresses were discourteous and barely spoke English. All that has changed, younger more vibrant bilingual waitresses (most of them) place is nice and updated revamped and now is worth every penny to eat there. Prices are ok, food is good. Overall good stuff!

Terrible service from the servers. We had a little concern over the food after ordering Uber Eats from a place that we normally consider really good. The lady that spoke on the phone was no help and decided to blame the Uber delivery for the terrible quality. After talking to her she was very rude and hanged the phone on us. Terrible way to treat a customer and a perfect way to give the bussiness a terrible look. Thank you for nothing, never ordering from this place again.

Do not order from this place. They have no idea what they’re doing. After 1 hour of waiting for our order on ubereats we called them and they couldn’t even find our order. After 1 hour and a half we called again, somehow they could see our order now, didn’t know how to cancel it or to give us the customer support number. They were also VERY rude. They couldn’t tell us how much longer it would be. Oh and this happened between 11pm and 12.30am, so not exactly a “rush” time. I own a restaurant and I know exactly how Ubereats works and it’s EXTREMELY easy to cancel or track orders. I finally called Ubereats support on my own because I already had the number and, while on the phone with them, the order was MAGICALLY canceled by the restaurant! So on top of that they are liars. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I am early in the morning with my husband and our friend. We tried to sit in the a decent table next to counter, but apparently it was reserve it for one group of persons that thought were Pablo Escobar and their crew. I don not if that restaurant is continuous a Cuban Restaurant , because 95% of the client and employee are from Colombian. I don have any problem with the race and nationalitity, but apparently the people were sitting in the salon have it, because someone one of them said that " it was better closed the restaurant for them. They did not realize that were in a restaurant in Sweetwater not in Coral Gables or in Fisher island.They feel like a " millionaire and finally their money had it same value that us. The service is not bad, but it was not the best, only one person was attending around 25 people, plus the exquisite people that reserve the salon.

Typical Cuban Food served at this Latin Restaurant. I have been coming here for years and one of the best things they have here are Empanadas de Ropa Vieja. I've never had them anywhere else but here and they never disappoint. Service can be a bit slow during the nights so come with patience late at night. However, you cannot beat the business hours -open 24/7 !and all menu items (even breakfast available at any hour). Enjoy!

Latin Food Spots are on every corner in this city but very little leave that awesome impression on you to keep on coming in. This small , simple cuban restaurant keeps that original Latin America feel. Place is clean , food is affordable and great and the staff is allways on point. Good Cuban food is served here. Their cafe con leche is served with the espresso on the side, which I prefer. The service is always with a smile and it's super close to Florida International University, so it's a good place for a meal before or after school.

Let me start by saying we have ordered from this restaurant at least 50 times. But after our latest experience they will never receive another penny from us. Take note folks, this is how restaurants fail... We made a simple carry-out order, which turned into a whole $hit storm. My wife and I ordered a vaca frita and they asked us how we would like the meat done - well done, medium, etc....Even this simple Gringo from Ohio knows that a vaca frita only comes one way...this should have been a red flag that something was amiss...but alas, we were hungry. We went in to pay and order, and after getting home, noticed that my side dishes were missing. Also, the beef soup we ordered was a chicken soup...No problem - we will just call back and have them deliver the correct order. The manager says he will have someone deliver it just as soon as they can. We only live 0.5 miles away. But it was the principle! Shouldn't be a problem considering they advertise on their front door "WE DELIVER", right? 1 hour later, and nothing. Not a phone call or a knock on door. So we call back. We explain what happened, and they just hung up on us. Called again, hung up on us. Called a third time and they took the phone off the hook... And this is when the $hit hits the fan. We drive back to the restaurant and the waitress who took our order of the phone has that deer-in-headlights look on her face before we can even open the door. Yep. You $%?!ed up. We ask to speak with the manager right away. He walks up and calmly asks us what the matter was, in Spanish. I ask if he speaks English and he responds in surprisingly good English that he doesn't speak English. Fine. The wife states our case, and eventually we have the entire restaurants attention, accusing them of mistreating us, hanging up on us, and just doing a real terrible job overall. The patrons had a good chuckle when I explained that they asked me how I'd like the vaca frita cooked. They exclaimed on Spanish to the manager, "Hey, come on man. He's not even Cuban and he knows you don't ask how do you want us to cook the vaca frita! It comes one way! Give the guy a break". Well they didn't give us a break. They pulled the side orders out of the counter - it had been sitting there the whole time. They forgot to give it to us. And they didn't bother to even try to deliver it. I explained - "I don't want a credit, I don't want you to remake it, I don't trust you. I want my money back." The manager tried to convince us to order something tomorrow and he will comp some of it, but my mind was made up. I won't do business with anyone that treats customers like this. So he promised to refund the order back on my debit card. It would take 2-3 business days. More false promises...they never refunded my money, and they've just earned a really great review! Hope it was worth it buddy, and I hope this dissuades a few other people from wasting their money in this Mickey Mouse establishment. There's plenty of other Cuban restaurants in Miami - eat anywhere but here.

The lady at the takeout counter is friendly and good natured. I don't speak Spanish but she did a great job of communicating in English. I've ordered the Cuban Sandwich and Fries here several times and the Sandwich is wonderful. They have a very extensive menu and offer student discounts to FIU students. One of the best things about this place is that it is open 24 hours.

The food is good but the service is really bad. People at the bar waiting to be help forever. I wait 15 min to be help just to order the cantina, and another 30 min to get it, by the way the restaurant was empty...too slow. The servers are always on the back I guess the kitchen. Be Aware!!! I experienced extreme vomiting after eating in this disgusting place. If you enter a restaurant and see that is empty that is a red flag. Even then I said to myself " let's try it what could go wrong ", big mistake. The food had and old weird taste. NEVER AGAIN WOULD EAT HERE!!!!!!!!! YOU COULD DIE OF FOOD POISONING.

Great service, our server Anairis was the best, she took care of us. But the reason I gave 4 stars was because of the food. I asked for well done eggs and I got over easy which I don’t like because of the yolk. The house potatoes were cold. And the toast was over buttered to the point where it was a little too much. One on my table asked for eggs with onions and rice, the onions where not cooked along with the eggs, they were completely raw.

Latin is one of my favorite Cuban places to eat. They recently remodeled the inside and it looks spectacular. They made it look really modern but still have that Cuban taste. The food is always great. Service is on point. The manager is always walking around making sure everything is going well. If you want Cuban food, Latin is one of my first options to pick.

TERRIBLE. I ordered something for pick up on Postmates and some lady said “aqui no hay nada en tu nombre” that probably I ordered the food on another Latin Restaurant since they don’t “use” Postmates.. I kept my cool and I said the direction clearly says this address and my order was accepted by them so there’s no way. After going back and forth talking to the manager they finally “found” my order 10 min later. In top of that, the order usually comes with 2 sides and they put 1 instead, everything came separated in different containers. Just a terrible experience and NEVER again i’m coming here. Horrible customer service.

I work across the street at FIU's Engineering Center so I frequent here A LOT. The 10% county employee discount applies to students which is always appreciated. One of the things that keeps me coming back here is the ambiance and the service. It is top notch and the staff comes to know you if you frequent enough. Breakfast is always good, so is lunch/dinner. For the price, you get WAY MORE than you paid for. Popular routine is visiting for lunch then keeping the left overs for dinner because they serve a lot and you will NOT be minding a double serving for the day. If you're in Miami and want to try some authentic Latin cuisine that's no-fuss and down-to-Earth, then check this place out. You might even see me there.

Thank God I found a place that opens late with excellent food close to home.. exceptional Cuban sandwich a crema de malanga that taste homemade, awesome fries, friendly fast service ... The only other local place that opens 24 hrs made me sick twice and the latest server is very bitter and looks burdened when serving the people... what made me look for someplace else was when I asked for extra ham in my Cuban sandwich and I would pay for it... She told me they can’t do that cuz the sandwiches were pre-made.. i said.. your sandwichs r not fresh??!! She told told me she’d make me a fresh ham and cheese... Well that sandwich made me sick as a well, this was the day before yesterday... I won’t be eating there anymore, I don’t think I’ll even stop for coffee .Be careful where u eat people, food poisoning is no fun . Thank God for Latino Restaurant you brighten my day after such a horrible experience
