We had chicken and beef empanadas and some of the sweets. Everything was amazing. The green sauce they include with the food is amazing. I would love them to bottle it or post the recipe. The place was busy but service was quick and easy.

The food was great. We especially enjoyed the chicken empanadas. My advice is to do take away as the place is very busy (because it's good!) and the small seating area quickly becomes cramped when the line extends to the back of the store.

This is a real find! I challenge you to find better breakfast pastries, anywhere. If you think they are good in Paris or Lisbon, this local hole in the wall is right up there. Everything tastes fresh, and it is. This is as good as it gets for authentic Latin American pastries. Breakfast and lunch, this place is filled with locals. The smells, the local Spanish chatter, this is why you travel and explore. The quintessential local find, with lots of locals Went back at lunch and had the best empanadas I’ve ever tasted. This place has all kinds of interesting baked good, savory and sweet, stuff I’ve never seen before, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The breakfast and lunch sandwiches wrapped in some kind of corn pastry, to die for. If you are in South Beach don’t miss this place.

We recently visited Miami Beach for the first time and wanted a quick and cheap meal to-go. We found this place by googling for empanadas nearby and we have to say that it exceeded our expectations. At first it may seem a bit intimidating because of all the selections but the staff is very friendly and are very helpful. They have a wide variety of sweet and savory pastries and lots of drink choices. We picked out 7 random pastries and they were all amazing. We ended up snacking on them throughout the day and lasted us until well into the evening. The cafe con leche was freshly brewed and really hit the spot. We will definitely visit again when we come back to Miami!

Stumbled on this place for lunch, really cool vibe to the place and super helpful staff. I cannot eat dairy or gluten so nothing on the standard menu worked for me. The server made me an Arepa (gluten free) with other ingredients that I could eat. My husband had two empanadas that he said were excellent. Very accommodating and lovely staff and above and beyond service.

I have never enjoyed a bakery more. The staff is second to none. There is something comforting about being told, "pay me later" when you pull your wallet out after receiving your food. If this bakery is not family run they do a very food job of carrying themselves in that type of way. I had an empanada and was told I needed to eat it with the green sauce, it was amazing. I only wish I lived closer than 6 hours away. Will visit this place if I'm anywhere near Miami Beach.

The staff is nice but I dislike when we come way earlier than other customers and they don't get our order first. Our dishes were not complicated or custom. The cashier seems new and the helper girl forgott our order. That's why the ticket was made in the first place.

Nice place to eat lunch in Miami Beach. They have a lunch special for every day of the week (weekends included) that costs $10.95. I went on a Saturday and I chose the grilled chicken with rice and beans special. Recommended for a quick healthy meal at a fair price!

It's one of those "old time" places in SoBe to stop by and grab breakfast. Its a Venezuelan and with some Argentine items. They have fresh squeeze orange juice and a very good "cafe con leche" which is a latte. Their service is a bit slow but it all depends how many people are in this 200 square ft shop. Unfortunately, on this day when I visited, I ate their spinach empanada and ended up with food poisoning. I was with someone else who ate something different and they were fine. So, either ricotta or spinach was not good. I think that will be a last visit there for me. A pity because it was a good place to eat some Argentine goodies!

For typical venezuela food fantastic. Small and quaint but absolutely a must if you are looking for this type of food. Portuguese owners now here from Venezuela. All staff are friendly and the prices are very low especially for this area of Miami. Fresh orange juice was great. I had a breakfast arepa with egg and tomato. Also a tacqueno and fresh juice. It is very close to loews hotel south beach.

It took 45 minutes for the one small French toast didn’t even get the eggs the employees were talking in a different language about us very unprofessional employees the food gave us a stomach ache the coffee was dirty the brewer was dirty and the coffee was way to hot and the worst coffee we have ever tasted it smelled horible too. Owner please respond and at least give us clean food (never coming again)

Charlotte Bakery looks a little rundown from across the the street. When you can look through the window and see the bustling people and authentic decor, you realize it might be worth checking out. Oh it was! The pastries are flakey, savory, and sweet. Your tastebuds will be jumping around with excitement! The service is great, for Miami. The girls at the counter are sweet, smiling, and helpful. This is a must, people!
