There is a reason this place has over 6K+ reviews. The food was excellent. Ordered the Jerk chicken wings, Bimini bread and Teriyaki burger. All items cooked and seasoned perfectly. When I am back in town, I will definitely be coming back for more.

This has been always a great place, good food and good view. However today I was there with my mother and after we lunched, my mother wanted to order an Aruba Martini to go and the barman named Jason did not even pay attention to my mother, she has to make a sign with her hand for him to see her and after that he told a waitress to help my mother, after that he throw to my mother the coaster. He is a racist and instead of a good afternoon, my mother and I return to home in a bad mood. I do not understand how can this store let people like that work in there, one day they are going to be in a lot of trouble.

Great beachside restaurant. They have a good happy hour with beverages and bar food. Definately worth a stop with the great views. Parking is a little tricky in area, so you may have to do a couple loops.

Took my wife here for our wedding anniversary... the food and drinks are good... the one issue would be that the wait staff was and would stand and congregated by our table. In NYC they usually go in the back alley or something thats not right on top of the customers. But this staff had no issues with it. It was odd to say the least.

I would have rated this a five had our waitress been good! We had a blonde with her hair in a ponytail, didn’t get her name. Didn’t give us any silverware no napkins, I had to ask another waitress for napkins. I asked our waitress for more salsa and she never returned with it. She had zero personality! Went here on a rainy Monday morning. This restaurant offers a great view right by the beach. Our waitress was extremely helpful and professional. We ordered the bimini bread (which was later complimentary) Fish Tacos, Seafood Quesadilla, and Conch Fritters. Our meal was very generous in portion. And it tasted amazing. This is a spot I would go back to whenever I get a chance.

This place has been there since I can remember. Amazing atmosphere. On Saturday nights they have a live band which is excellent to dance to. Definitely recommend to anyone that is visiting Florida or lives here in fort Lauderdale.

I like their ceviche. It has a nice flavor to it. And served with crackers. Dish of choice. Decided to try the conch chowder. Nope. I don't expect it to be fresh soup. But it was a tad bit salty this night for my taste. Great place for a date, girls night and group of friends. The live music plays good music. The dance little space to dance can get pretty crowded and block the hostess table. But if you don't mind being so close to strangers and feeling their sweat and wild tipsy dancing you may have lots of fun. The topper is of course the view of the beach from just about anywhere you sit and exploring the near by pier.

Pina colada was really bad, I dunno if the barman was distracted or what. The burger and fries, however, were one of the best I've had in the whole state. I would recommend the burger to anyone in the area and, personally, I think it's worth the drive from downtown Miami

I enjoyed the experience. I only visited once. It was a Sunday around 1:15 pm. The place at first seemed packed with only a few seating inside and outside. Later, I realized it was just the hostess being placed within a high traffic area of the restaurant. I sat outside and enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL view of the beach/ocean while I dined. Food comes out at a reasonable time. I ordered an burger and fries with tea. The beef and fries is on par with non-franchised burgers. The staff was friendly. I found the bathroom to be a wee bit small. When I entered, two ladies were already waiting in line for stalls to become available. The bathroom was clean. They have many food dishes to choose from. All looked delicious as being brought to tables. A person can walk from the restaurant to directly onto the beach. 4 stars only because of the bathroom wait.

My boyfriend ordered NON-BLACKENED fish...it took forever to come to the table and it was COVERED IN CAJUN BLACK SEASONONG. The waitress took it away to get him a new one....and it came...WHEN THE REST OF OUR PARTY HAD FINISHED THEIR DINNER....SAD. WONT BE BACK

The atmosphere here is a winner. How can you ever beat a meal or cocktails on the beach? You can choose to sit inside or out. Outside being that much more of a true beach experience. Never a bad experience at Aruba, good friendly service. I think their menu in the past had more options which caters to my particular palate, but there are newer exciting options that may appeal to the masses. I would give the food a B+

OK place if you are on the beach and want to just walk up and grab a meal. As my daughter said, "the fresh oysters didn't taste like the ocean" and the lobster was rubbery. Crowded n noisy and our waiter disappeared into the crowd.

I love this place so much, it's my tradition to do every time I'm in town! Best food around! I get the seafood platter and really indulge! I usually share it but have tried to eat the whole thing before unsuccessfully, lol. I got the shrimp Louie and felt like it was more of a crab salad. Delicious food, great service! A chair cut my friends hand and they were so good about it. The manager came over and comped his meal. It was not a big cut her said the chairs had recently been reupholstered and they would check it again. Love this place!

We waited a long time for everything. To take our orders, bring our food, get a box, get our check ect. My boyfriend got a burger and it was undercooked and soggy. The seafood was good but small portions for a 38 dollar plate. The lobster tail was TINY! However, it is in a beautiful location where you can sit outside with gorgeous views of the beach.

Very good but….(I’ll wait until the end). I have not been here in years because a) I don’t live close anymore and b) I rarely go anywhere touristy during “the season”. It was summer so we decided to go, still busy though. So, we both had the escargot which was very good except the bread was basically a roll and not a baguette (if it was, it was a poor baguette). I then had the conch fritters which is basically bar food and it was ok, just not what I would order again. Other half had the lobster salad sandwich with fries. Same with him, it was just ok. The wait for the entrees (lobster salad and fritters in our instance) was approximately 35 minutes which I consider a little long for a place like this. And now I remember why I haven’t been here in a while: c) the wait from ordering to placement on table still is long. And since I am writing this and thinking about the meal, I am changing “very good” to “ok” or whatever terminology/stars a website is using. If you’re a tourist, check this place out. It’s right on the beach and a fun place to be.

This place was a lot of fun ocean views feels like a very tropical setting. They had great music playing that's somewhat even dancing to. The food was great had a Sashimi tuna salad which was fresh and high grade. They were extremely busy it was loud noisy and crowded and the service was poor. But then again since this place had a great setting with ocean views inside and outside seating I still had to give them 5 stars. I was sitting there with friends for over 15 minutes after being seeded with waiters and waitresses running back and forth or just standing around chatting with each other but never coming to the table until I said something

5 stars for the food! 1 star for asking for more tips. The food was very good no questions, but leaving tips it is not a rule of how much you should leave, that's what I know. A $10 tip for a table of two people I think is enough plus everyone leaves tips as much as they want or can in my opinion, asking for more tip should not be put in discussion at all!!! Hope management will take get a closer look at it...

I don't you the other day, the quality of food was good, service was quick. Many of the tables throughout the restaurant and have a view of the ocean. There are not many oceanfront restaurants in Broward. Anything the restaurant lacks The view makes up for. They have great live music most of the time. If there's a wait, usually a high top or bar seating is available.

For me it’s the second time I come with my wife and have dinner, first experience for us it was good in everything , but the second visit which was yesterday night it was very unprofessional and bad, first a waitress came and took the drinks order then a second waitress brought the drinks and put them on the menu directly while we are looking on them to check what we want to eat it was bad attitude from her, my wife orders frozen strawberry lemonade which was taste not good and I got a drink for me as well, finally when we finished and ordered the check to pay, they was charging us for the lemonade drink as an alcohol charges, we spoke with the waitress and told her about the price she said it’s not my problem the first waitress ordered you and I can’t do nothing it is charged as an alcohol drink, I told her to call the manager directly, DONALD the manager come and he sit with us on the table and he was an amazing person changing the stress I have for what happen to a cool time talking about something else, I was planing me and my wife not to come anymore to this place but because of DON we will come back for sure I promised him. He is really a great manager and I wish you a very good luck in your life and I want to tell Aruba Owner that you are lucky guys to have a kind of person that deal with customers. Great ocean side dining with large portions and a great vibe. The valet parking next to the restaurant is kind of a joke. Separate outfit altogether and there is no validation of parking. But it didn't dampen the dining experience. The Caribbean Jerk wings were outstanding and very meaty.

We are here from Oregon visiting my niece and nephew and they took us here for happy hour. The prices are okay. The food and drinks aren't bad. The view is really nice it's on the beach. They had a live band Friday. The staff I have mixed feelings. Hostess wasn't really nice it seemed it was more of an inconvenience asking her a question about happy hour. Oh and happy hour people you only get to sit outside in the pub table area. That was odd to me.

I came here while on a 4 night vacation and I enjoyed it! The live music was super loud and I could barely hear my server and it wasn't the best music. Drinks weren't too bad, I would give them a 6 out of 10 (10 being the highest) the food, however was really good. I got the spring rolls and seafood platter ( I know I enjoy eating) I would give that a 8 out of 10. I would return here whenever I'm in Florida.

The seafood medley is so good! There usually is not a long wait to be seated, and Aruba has pretty much everything from burgers to sandwiches to grill cheese to steaks and you name this is a very good restaurant and it is located in the pristine little village of Lauderdale by the Sea. On weekends there’s always a block party put on by the city, it is a great place to visit and a wonderful place to live. I love it.

Is it just me? Everyone from out of town wants me to take them here, but I’ve never been impressed with the food. The atmosphere is incredible in Lauderdale-by-the-sea... but this place consistently disappoints me. There are plenty of better choices on every other corner. Most recent visit my roll was moldy and the time before that my crab cake tasted off. I am not picky when it comes to food, but I do want it to be edible. Stars for a great atmosphere to enjoy a few beers.

Right on the beach with view of the ocean. I'm giving five stars based on quality of food, drink and service. My blackened snapper was nothing less than perfect. The smoked wahoo dip was delicious. If you're looking for cozy or romantic you might want to look elsewhere. This is a large venue and can get quite noisy.

Wow we were so looking forward to this lunch. After reading all the reviews we were sure it was a hit. Have to say the ceviche was a hit,,,,but thats where it stopped. Drinks were strait alcohol which normally would not be a problem but not for us. Ordered a seafood sampler platter that was just aweful. Lobster,shrimp,and scallops were serverely over cooked and tough as nails. Zero flavor. If we hadnt traveled all day we would have left. Would highly recommend anything else.

Terrible service. Happy hour food is ONLY in the bar and there is very limited seating there. And ONLY if you buy a drink... Thankfully the drinks are cheap for happy hour! Live music was great! Large menu. OUTSTANDING view. But like I said, the service attitude, efficiency, follow up, speed and even non verbal facial expressions were horrible.

We ate here sun sept 29th the view of the beach was spectacular I got the chicken pasta which was delicious also my daughter got the pizza which was delicious as well! They have a gentleman who plays the steal drums while there of the modern music these days he's excellent its very loud so youll have to yell at your waiter there was a strong smell of fish which was to be expected I guess overall excellent experience if youre looking for something cheap to eat this place isnt for you

HORRIBLE - you can have a much better experience at other beach restaurants. Went there with my mom and wanted to have drinks and an appetizer. First off, it is SO over-crowded in there on the weekend, we were not impressed with the cleanliness and the friendliness of staff initially but just decided to stay since we were already there. We ordered alcohol drinks and said we just wanted an appetizer. The server said he would have to charge us an up charge of $4.00 since we we were ‘sharing’, unless we ordered something else. Since WHEN is sharing an appetizer something out of the ordinary that requires an up-charge? The server argued with me until I insisted that the manager come to our table. The manager was more reasonable and said there wouldn’t be an up-charge, but at that point we didn’t even feel like eating or dealing with our server. We asked to pay for our drinks and leave.

This place is really chill and at the same time super lively especially with the band. I took my niece here from Dallas and my daughter here. A really good time, the bar tender awesome,honestly can't remember her name. I'll call her Jersry,nice girl super attentive. This place is great for family, kids, date night or even alone. You won't be disappointed.

We love to come here for brunch, lunch, dinner, for drinks...anytime. I love the Bimini bread, conch fritters, caprese salad and just about any appetizer they offer. Love the lobster and salmon. My Husband loves the seasonal crab and all the fish dishes. I highly recommend. We valet for parking. Sometimes there is an extremely loooong wait so be prepared. Also, they sometimes have a little band/music which is really enjoyable.

Beach side restaurant with live music, awesome food and a great selection of drinks, live bands and overall phenomenal atmosphere! A definite must see and experience when in Fort Lauderdale. I would recommend the Beyond Burger on the menu- super delish ! Laid back awesome climate with minute walk to the ocean. We went here 2 night in a row - just absolutely amazing! Dancing, food drinks and fun

This was a wonderful place to eat lunch. I went there twice on my trip to Florida. The service was friendly and fast, reasonable prices, and the fries were probably the best I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious meal with a view of the ocean!

I am appalled at my experience here today with my father and my 1 year old son, we were looking for somewhere to sit down out of the rain, and grab a few drinks and maybe get some fries and food in due course. We were told to sit anywhere. We found a nice window booth that could accommodate my son in his stroller out of the way from people, and could see the view as my dad was visiting from England and I wanted to share this place with him as I come here all the time. After we were seated for 5 mins, a lady served walked over and asked if we were eating, to which I said no just drinks for now, she told me we couldn’t sit there and would have to sit at the bar or high tables with stools around the bar. I can not sit at the bar with my son and the high tables are not suitable for the stroller. We stood there with half the restaurant looking at us as we tried to find somewhere suitable we were “allowed” to sit at. Meanwhile they sat another couple at the table we had just been told to move from, there we’re plenty of empty tables in the restaurant so it’s not like there was a shortage of tables for people to eat at. Back to us, The only suitable table was a low table reserved for disabled patrons with stools- in the middle of traffic, not out of the way, relaxing or the type of environment we’d come here to enjoy and also not suitable for my 70 year old father to have to sit on a chair with no back. I walked over to the server, expressed my disappointment in her poor lack of judgement and told her we would be leaving as we didn’t feel welcome nor felt it was a family friendly atmosphere. I will not be returning even though I love their bread. So sad. I fish at the pier all the time and stop here often. Shame on u Aruba, your staff need better training to use common sense and judgement instead of discriminating and alienating patrons.

Really love this place! Ironically I have only gone during the evening time but the view of the moon on the Atlantic Ocean is equally beautiful. “I see the moon and the moon sees me...” Great menu too and the servers are really nice and welcoming to tourist.

Awesome environment, right next to the shore of the beach. Not the cleanest beach, but best in nice environment (music and people wise). Affordable parking available in surrounding areas. Awesome live music and food. Customer Service was great. I will definitely come back and recomend this place.

Super packed. Best bet is to grab a seat at the bar. Great food. The waiting system is very creative...balloons with names inspired by the ocean, food, liquor... and when they run out of ideas just plain old letters of the alphabet.
