This Coffee Shop belongs to the category of Coffee shop.
Love this place! Great coffee shop, atmosphere and place to hang out. As soon as you walk in, the upside-down room in the ceiling is a conversation piece. Their affogato is AMAZING!! The bathrooms are super clean and they have a baby changing station (even in the men's room). One of the few places that sells doughnuts on the strip too.
Ordered the golden latte with almond milk and habanero honey! Amazing! Very friendly staff willing to customize anything on the menu in order to accommodate you. Specialty ice cream sundaes, unique drink options as well. The best coffee shop at the beach!!! Highly recommended!!!!
Really gorgeous place, the atmosphere is awesome and the interior design is very well done (as expected of the Schell bros). However, the food and drinks are insanely expensive. Like, even more than usual on Rehoboth Ave. The menu is good but definitely not "$12 for a milkshake" good.
Went for one of their specialty milkshakes and was not too impressed. Felt like I was in a real estate office rather than a place to relax and have a treat with my kid.
This place has really weird decor but their ice cream is amazing and they also have cool lattes and milkshakes
Amazing!!! Esspresso and vanilla shake.
Nice cozy place to have coffee (different kinds), or espresso or tea. Some bakery items to choose from, as well as mugs, cups, etc. To buy if you want.
Delicious milkshakes and lattes!!
Great milk shakes but the line is too long and really explensive
Nice decor, average coffee!
Cold brew on tap and nitro! One of the few places close to the boardwalk to get any coffee, let alone good coffee.
A great place to regroup with friends and family before and after the beach
I recently read an article in the Wilmington News Journal about the fancy $15 milkshake from Mug and Spoon. I made a special trip into Rehoboth to try one. I was extremely disappointed. It was far from a milkshake. Although the presentation was beautiful, the milkshake tasted like flavored milk. I was expecting a thick milkshake and was extremely disappointed with what tasted like cold milk. When I questioned the waitress about the consistency of the milkshake she said she didn't make it and she didn't know. She suggested that perhaps they had used too much milk. Seriously?????
Very nice shop Apple fritters were huge and very good
The flavored lattes were good. Try the Ellis for a raspberry mocha treat.
Love this place. Pricey but good.
Best place to catch shade and share something delicious with a friend or loved one. Very clean and friendly, very creative! My parents were in town and very impressed! You get to keep the mug! VERY excited for this Spring's reopening following a secret renovation :0
Had company visiting and decided to go to the boardwalk. This is a nice cozy place .
Loved their "cake by the ocean" milkshake
Great little coffee shop!!!
I love this coffee shop. The upside down kitchen in the entrance up on the ceiling is totally cool. The coffee most importantly is superb. They have an excellent array of suggestions and the staff is skilled in making a good brew. The desserts are pretty good too
Great coffee
Good coffee.
Pure delicious decedence!
20 minute wait for a milkshake. Also prices are a little high.
Great coffee and fun milkshakes
Pricey but very cool outrageous milkshakes and unique environment
The milkshakes were amazing. Definitely worth the price!! As well as just a great experience overall!!.
One of my must-stops when I'm visiting the boardwalk. You've never seen a coffee shop like this. When you walk through the entrance look UP!
Ever wanted a milkshake made of pie with a pie on top.... well now you do...
The staff are friendly and efficient. Great cold brew. We only go here when visiting.
The kitchen looked great, even upside down.
The kids truly enjoy their special treats
I had wonderful time there, the coffee is very tasty and Waitresses are very nice, helpful. They made me love this wonderful little city. I hope to get back again.
Crazy huge milkshakes! It was expensive ($15) and excessive (probably 3000 calories), but totally worth it.
The shakes are next level good!
I was lucky enough to get one of the parking spaces right in front of the store. Because I travel with my 2 little dogs, parking location is important. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to stop here and get one of the fancy milkshakes. To my disappointment, some of the milkshakes I saw online are no longer available. I went with the Cake Ocean with Strawberry milkshake. I didn't know the milkshake was mixed with color sprinkles. If you don't like color sprinkles, you might want to mention it to them. I got it to go so that I can eat it in the car. The young lady there was so nice. She put the waffle and red velvet cake in a separate container and the strawberry milkshake blended with color sprinkles and topped with whipped cream, more color sprinkles and fudge. It was good... A bit much for me to consume in one seating. The presentation is creative; otherwise, it is just 2 dessert in one. I didn't get a copy of the receipt, and no idea how much I paid. I really wanted to try it, and was excited that I finally got to try it and didn't think to ask. When I told the young lady that my dogs are in the car, she said that I could bring them into the coffee shop. I'm not sure if this shop is always dogfriendly, or just off season. I will probably come back again and try something different.
Amazing ice cream and milkshakes!!!!
Enjoyed the awesome Dark Side milkshake. It is worth the money!
This was awesome place for a morning coffee..
Great Cold Drinks and Fraps
Excellent coffees, staff.
Great find! I had the Aztec Latte which is one of their "Social Lattes". It was extremely good and I was very impressed with the fun design on top. Very happy with this place. Their milkshakes looked amazing also. Definitely worth a try.
Tried their current "Spicy Cold Brew" - a cold brew with blueberry and ghost pepper. It was absolutely fantastic, not for everyone, but definitely was well made and shows the care that Mug and Spoon puts into rotating and expanding their menu. Will definitely go back to try out their desserts one day soon.
This place was ok. We went for the tea because the tea place 4 doors down did not sale tea by the cup. We went there and the tea was SO HOT I burnt my tongue so bad. We had to ask for ice cubes to cool it down. Nothing to write home about. The tea was very good though.
I popped in for a quick iced latte on a warm summer day. Service was friendly, helpful, quick, and accurate! Seemed like it would be a good place to spend an hour or two, but I was only in there for a few minutes.
Really wonderful atmosphere and great staff! the milkshakes are really fun to try, and the coffees are awesome. Go there if you get the chance.
Delicious and cute little coffee shop only steps from the beach and boardwalk. It was very quaint and nice to sit and relax with our coffee after sitting on the beach for hours. It was decorated really nice and most importantly, the coffee was really good. They had a whole ice cream and milkshake menu (with vegan I've cream), which looked good, but we never had the chance to go back and try
How awesome. Best ice cream Ive ever had. The shakes are def. for sharing...
Great coffee!!
Ginger Nitro Fizz. AWESOME
Great coffee on the boardwalk
Price is high but was unigue shake
I took the family to try out these amazing milkshakes ! They are pricey but large enough to share-they do not disappoint! Very very tasty, the kids and adults loved them! Probably not an every day indulgence much more of a special occasion treat but absolutely wonderful and worth the price if you share it.
Good espresso drinks. I was a little weirded out when I realized that the Schell Brothers in the name is the same Schell Brothers that build homes across the entire southern coastal Delaware area. They use the coffee shop to advertise their homes throughout the shop. The kitchen demo on the ceiling of the entrance way was also a bit freaky.
Staff was very friendly. Great location. I had a dark roast coffee and it was not very strong or tasty.
Great coffee and ice cream. Very pleasant staff!
Yummilicious.
Very good coffee and crumb cake Staff very personable and happy
You will love this place so come in and have a cup of coffee and something to eat so if you are planning a trip to Rehoboth Beach stop in
Milkshakes are overpriced and not worth $15.
Interesting Place
We drink a lot of coffee and one of the challenges in travelling is finding decent coffee. This place definitely delivers. The location is convenient to the boardwalks and many of the hotels, and the delicious coffee aroma hits you as soon as you get close. The coffees we got were strong, but good, and their unsweetened iced tea was great too. I know they have a lot of ludicrous looking dessert items, and I'm sure they're great too, but we were here for coffee. They also offer vegan desserts, which I don't know if it's very common. We come here at least once every time we visit Rehoboth. Look up when you first walk inside for a cool visual treat!
This place has fantastic shakes but a weird vibe. It is also the office for a custom home company, which is just weird, but doesn't make the food, service, or experience worse
Gorgeous! Make sure you look up as soon as you walk in!
best coffee in Rehoboth beach, Delaware and definitely should their caramel macchiato
Pricey but delicious
Probably the best coffee in Rehobeth Beach. Great ambience. Loved the featured art in their store
Very nice coffee shop.ample, comfortable seating, game boards, good coffee and pastry. Just steps away from the boards.
Always a Wonderful Experience when we come down here from Philly. Staff is always so friendly, even though they are busy all day waiting on customers nonstop
Cool spot and good service. ASK which are the great big milkshakes in the pictures before you order if that is what you are going there for. Some are just basic milkshakes, still good but I was looking to indulge!
Close to boardwalk. Nice dark interior. Best experience for espresso shot drinks in town. All the coffee places in town are good.
One of the coffeest decaf iced americanos I've had in a while, Scheller Brothers Coffeehouse is an interesting blend of coffeehouse and real estate sales office. It blends well together. It is a pleasant place to stop, grab a coffee, and think about what properties you would like to buy on the Delaware Beach coast.
Great place, but once is enough. We were quickly served a beautiful milkshake by a pleasant staff. It was a monstrous creation, candy & waffle cone & whipped cream on top of a delicious milkshake loaded with more candy, topped off with, what else? - why, cotton candy of course! This is the stuff little girls dream of! But, two of shared it, did not finish it all, and felt ill for quite a while afterwards. Definitely a one time treat!
We came here on a rainy day to surprise my son with a giant milkshake and were not disappointed. We ordered the Black Out shake, which came with waffle cone around it, a huge brownie, kitkats, whipped cream, and chocolate candies. Yum! It was definitely big enough to split between three people. The atmosphere was great, too, and we enjoyed the kitchen that was nailed to the ceiling above our heads.
WONDERFUL VEGGIE ICE CREAM SELECTION. Eye catching entry w full kitchen hanging fr ceiling - Very pleasant staff.
Love their interesting ice cream dishes
Great atmosphere.
The coffee is fine, unfortunately the cafe itself is very strange and feels like a marketing play for a real estate company. They also advertise products that they were consistently out of. The worst and weirdest thing though was that one day when we were there, they had a woman set up in the front of the store, offering to paint children's faces. So we allowed my daughter to have her face painted while my husband ordered a coffee. When she finished, she took out her cell phone and attempted to take my five year old daughter's picture! She then got rude with me when I told her she absolutely could not take her picture, telling me she wasn't going to post it and that we needed to make a purchase at the cafe (my husband already did.) It was very weird and she was very rude. I still cannot understand someone thinking it is okay to take a picture of a stranger's child.
Good coffee and cookies
Smells good, looks good and clean. Coffee was fresh and good. Home made ice cream was also very good. Staff was super friendly and happy. Would return with a pleasure!
Fun place. Creative ice cream sundaes on the boardwalk in Rehoboth beach. If you can't decide if you want cake or ice cream then order the cake at the beach and get the milkshake, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, chocolate cake and sprinkles. Yes that is real cotton candy on top of the other milkshake. It is a little pricey at 15.00, but it is original and one is enough for 2 or 3 people to share. They have apple fritters, muffins and lots of coffee drinks.
Worth it! Shot of espresso in my dark chocolate coffee milkshake. The best
Loved the iced mocha, really intense cocoa flavor. Great selection of drinks and a wonderful and comfortable interior. A little pricey but that’s expected for a beach town.
I wish I could give this place 5 stars!! My father and I had an espresso and a caramel latte, seriously the best coffee in Rehoboth! But while we were sitting there a young man kept spouting off “f this, f that” and on top of that (which was honestly irritating to listen to) he was making fun of evangelical Christians. If he had said it a few times I wouldn’t have cared or been offended, but he just kept using foul language and he was very loud. If this was just a customer I wouldn’t have given mug and spoon only 3 stars but this young man was clearly somehow apart of the shop because he was sitting with the employees and saying his comments to them. It’s sad because it’s such a cute place with a great product. Come on let’s keep it family friendly, there was a family with children walking in when I walked out. Also, I did confront the man and said that his language was offensive specifically for this setting. Edit: I have edited my rating, I appreciate the owner getting back to me!
Amazing coffee desserts!!!
Good.It has potential to become the place to go after being at the beach
Cool stuff cheap
Friendly & helpful staff. Try the nitro coffee!
This place is a perfect choice if you want coffee or ice cream. The coffees are amazing! The ice cream tastes awesome and they make milkshakes too! If you need somewhere good to go, this is the place.
Amazing coffee and milkshakes. Can’t wait to go back!!
I drove all the way from Fenwick thinking they were open due to the website saying they were open from 7am-9pm to find out they are closed very disappointed
Careful what you order as you might not be able to finish it. Their milkshakes are pretty huge. But it is delicious. It is a nice cozy place by the beach. Loved it
Definitely a good coffee shop near the beach if you need a nice pick me up. I got the large peninsula hot. The price is honestly a bit expensive but the coffee itself was delicious. Not overly sweet even though it was a sweet drink which I really enjoy. I took my drink to go but the inside of the coffee shop seemed really nice. Would definitely go here again
Beverages, as well as sweets, are top quality. And the staff here is so friendly, both with humans AND "furry" customers! We really like this place.
Wonderful tasting coffee for my walk along the strip.
The milkshakes are over the top but very good.
Great flavors yet out of our first choices. Seems a bit pricey too. $15 for an ice cream sandwich and wafflecone is high.
Great little spot with a diner atmosphere. Good food at reasonable prices.
Great selection, and interesting interior!
I think that it could use some work
Always a delishous treat!!
The atmosphere is nice and relaxing
Great coffee! Cute/casual atmosphere. In the midst of a busy spot, but doesn’t seem like it once you are tucked away holding a warm mug in its dim and cozy space.
Delicious coffee and bakery treats. Wonderful employees. Highly recommend!
We got the over the top milkshakes and they were ok. The look much more impressive than they taste. The staff were very nice and the milkshakes came out faster than I thought.
Uh we just love this place. My husband loves the ice cream and I love the non-dairy options including a vegan ice cream and non-dairy options for Coffee. Clean with high standards!! We love to just pop in for a coffee on our off-season beach walks. A Must-Do!
The milkshakes were delicious! Thick and creamy. I had the Cake by the Ocean and my Fiancee had the Smores Samoa. Delicious!
Wow! What incredibly over the top milkshakes!
Fun coffee place with ice cream!
false advertising of shakes.. was extremely disappointed
Love the mug and spoon!!! Wonderful pastries and creative milkshakes! Staff always friendly, establishment stays clean.
Clean. Refreshing. Air conditioned. Friendly. I love a quiet, delicious dark roasted cup of fresh coffee. Thanks for being so friendly.
This place had good coffee and great customer service. But they have clearly bent over a barrel and taken marketing dollars from a local real estate agent to just stay open. It was incredibly distracting and just took away from any type of relaxing environment. Full of touch screen monitors to choose “Future house floor plan” or “Contact Sarah now for more information” Ads. Just sad to see this type of blatant whoring.
Where do I begin.... the ice cream here is unbelievable. The only thing I can compare it to is if Zeus struck the tip of your tongue with a lighting bolt of flavor. The Travel Chanel should reclassify this location as one of the seven wonders of the world. This is a must eat in Rehobeth!
Very nice. Coffee ok
The Black Magic and Mermaid Chai are stellar. Highly recommend them.
Friendly staff
Excellent
Great atmosphere and great desserts!
My afagato was exceptional. Great service and a charming location. A perfect afternoon pick me up.
Great atmosphere, and really great ice cream, A homemade ran from Woodside Farm Creamery. I tried the mint-Oreo, dark chocolate coffee, and vanilla. Rich and creamy. The portion size is too small, it leaves you wanting more. I’m looking forward to next time trying an espresso and ice cream shake. And when you walk in look up and you’ll see something very interesting.
Friendly baristas, delicious, strong-but-not-bitter coffee in a modern wood walled shop. Lots of comfortable seating. Huge menu full of unique drinks and icecream and shakes. Give it a try, multiple, to get a spread of the menu.
A great place to grab a cup of coffee and a fancy ice cream dessert near the beach. While it’s not the best ice cream treat you can find in the area, it is really close to the boardwalk and that does make up for a lot.
I literally just left the shop just now. I ordered an ice cream sandwich with mint chip ice cream. On the menu it's advertised as "your choice of ice cream between two warm cookies". I got my order and it had vanilla ice cream so I returned it saying I had ordered mint chip ice cream. I got a new sandwich with mint chip ice cream but the cookie was not warm so I brought it to their attention and I was told that they had warmed it up but the "cold ice cream cools down the cookie". What?! The cookie is hard; it was never warmed up. It cost almost $7 and they would not remake it or return my money. Very disappointing.
This is the best place for coffee and milkshakes!
I did not really dislike it but they have kids working here and have no supervision I got my order after a wall but had to go up there three times to get the other one then had to tell them what it was because they wouldn't sure
Good stuff, a bit pricey. Would be nice if we could of had the mug we paid $17 dollars for.
Mug and Spoon is a great place to get ice cream, milk shakes, and coffee Mug and Spoon is a few steps from the boardwalk. Parking anywhere close to the store is nearly impossible even on the off season, so expect to do some walking. When you walk in there are a few tables next to the door, but there are a lot more tables and booths in the back of the store. The counter to order is in the middle of the store. The menu is mainly just ice cream, milkshakes, and coffee drinks. The servers were very friendly and welcoming. The prices are fairly good. The milkshakes are thick enough to eat with a spoon. The sweetness is nicely balanced so that it isn't too sweet. They have a vegan milkshake, but I wasn't fan of that one. Overall, it's a really place
OMG Delicious! I had the cake by the ocean milkshake. They could add more to it for the $15 it costs like maybe a scoop of ice cream to the top instead of whipped cream.Great place though. When you walk in make sure to look up!
Beautiful and modern looking coffee shop near the Rehoboth boardwalk. Excellent service!
EXCELLENT
Quick service and the Ice Cream tasted great.
We loved the atmosphere, the workers, the drinks ... everything was great! Thank you, we will return!
Very unique milkshake, with a piece of cake on top. They should specify which cake comes with the milkshake on the menu. I am not big fan of red velvet and it was the cake that came with this milkshake.
Stay away. This place is way over priced. $9 for 2 scoops of ice cream. There are too many other mom and pop shops in the area that offer better ice cream for much cheaper. Heres what $9 gets you. It's insane.
This place is pretty fun. When you walk in, look up. Trust me. I took away a star because our milkshake was not prepared like the picture advertised for it (and this place is known for its outrageous milkshakes-at least one major ingredient was missing) but it was still very good. You should definitely check them out!
Discovered this wonderful coffee house retreat.....a must stop always in September in Rehoboth....
Coffee was decent. The location was very spacious and comfortable, which I appreciated. I'd come back for sure.
By far the best Frappuccino I've ever had. I had the extreme toffee coffee and the Lil Cuban had three orange dream. They are both way better than anything that I've had at Starbucks
Absolutely our best find in Rehoboth! We visited at least 3 times in 36 hours and wish we'd had more time to try more of what the menu offers. We're in love with this local gem!
Nice coffee shop.
6:59 am arrival time, girls seemed tired, coffee ready by 7:10? maybe, not. Theu didnt forget me, nope eye contact then back to her phone? The tall girl is ignoring me. Down to 2 stars. This cup o joe better be good. It is, and the Asian girl was kind. Twas a beautiful sunrise and is a shweet Sunday morning in Rehoboth. Back up a notch to 3 stars for Schell bros.
This was our typical morning coffee stop... well constructed drinks with many options. Food options available. with an interesting decor layout.
Overpriced
Worth the price!
Very nice place, friendly staff
Best milkshakes ever!
