This restaurant is truly a convergence of Elle's dreams, great design, and hard work from a dedicated and conscientious staff. The food rivals any bistro in Storrs Center and it's closest competitors are the physical surrounds of the cafe and the dining experience itself. People actually meet and converse - not an internet cafe feel at all. Michael McDonald's transformation of a brownfield car dealership to a multiple use building with great aesthetics is worth a discussion as well should you find him on site. Just having coffee here will make you think and dream better, seriously.

This is one of my favorite places to be for some amazing food, a comfortable environment, and some great coffee. The food is all made in house, and it is amazing. The decor is incredible, and it feels homey being there even if it is your first time. The service is excellent. A great spot for a date, breakfast, an in-and-out coffee run, doing some schoolwork, or just meeting up with a friend. Trust me: try the muffins

Stopped in for the first time recently, with a large group. Although the space is relatively small, they went out of their way to accommodate us. The normal procedure is to order food at the counter, but they pushed several tables together for us and came out to take our orders. Everything was very good. Definitely will visit again.

I love this place, food is incredible, but I was pretty disappointed with the latte I just got. The milk was steamed perfectly, but the girl making the espresso pulled the shots and let them sit for 5 minutes before pouring them into the drink!!! Espresso shots expire within 10 seconds. As I expected the drink was very bitter and barely drinkable. I felt weird complaining because I think the issue was that the girl was not properly trained, I don’t think she was being negligent. espresso should be pulled right as the milk nearly done steaming, that way it will be done by the time the milk is ready and the latte will be perfect. Overall the is a great place!

Adorable little place with 10 tables. Large menu on wall everything looked good, I went with the maple French toast. The French toast was great but the sides were generic and hashbrowns were very overcooked. Will definitely come back and try lunch but check hours before you go here.

Absolutely lovely little breakfast and lunch spot right off the heart of downtown Storrs. Other than having fantastic homemade breakfast food of nearly anything you can ask for, the place is cozy and cute and inviting with calm music and homely decor. Couldn't recommend dropping by more.

Waited forever for my order, which was a roast beef wrap. Literally got a 10 inch tortilla, a slice of roast beef, horseradish sauce, and cheese. My two year old nephew would have done a better job wrapping it. My co-worker, who was dining with me, never received her meal. She reminded them several times of her order. Eventually they realized they forgot and made her sandwich (oh they were out of soup) and offered her a gift card.

We enjoyed the food. They have a large menu with several gluten free items. Breakfast and lunch is served. They also have a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffees, teas and smoothies as well as bakery items. The only drawback is that it seemed a bit pricey.

This is my husband's favorite place to stop and get lunch . It's a great addition to the town. The staff is always friendly, and the owner is there to help with any questions or special orders. The food is fresh and of good quality. They have a nice selection of baked goods as well that range from cupcakes, cookies, pie, and more. I highly recommend stopping by.

The French toast is fantastic and the service is very friendly. Secretly, I hope this place does not become super popular because I never have a wait when I get there. The food is great and fresh and the prices are lower than most breakfast places. Tremendous value for the cost.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food! I’ve been for breakfast and lunch and was quite impressed. There are many varieties of sandwiches and other cozy cafe classics. The image below is their spinach feta quiche; it was so good I purchased a whole one to take home. Highly recommend checking out the cafe and the floral shop next door. Which also has locally sourced goods like candles, lotions, and bottled condiments. Always support local business!

Adorable and vibrant little cafe with a nice quiet atmosphere that was very calming and welcoming. They offer gluten free treats and seem to make everything in house. The coffee was delicious and included free refills. I will definitely be going back.

I love this Cafe we have tried all their sandwiches all good some better than others, of course that’s according to one’s taste. French fries are great, we ask if they could make them a little crispier and they gladly do and there perfect. We have not had breakfast their yet, but we are planning to. Great pastries. Now the only thing they need to resolve is brewing a cup of coffee that is hot! we had two cups of coffee at two separate times and each time it was slightly warmer than room temperature. Also, they need more seating.

Cozy, friendly and a wide menu. Store-baked goods and great food. Highly suggest this place for breakfast and lunch. Not the cheapest place, but I never mind when I'm getting the level of quality I'm paying for. Also, likely the safest place in town; a regular spot for local PD and FD alike.
