Great place to study...chill environment, great background music, outdoor seating, great coffee and plenty of coffe-based drink options, tea, light as well as hearty snacks/mini meals. Avocado toast as good as looks in the picture.

I just moved upstairs across from Molto, and I was excited to start coming here daily before work. First AND second time today the people were so unfriendly it actually made me uncomfortable. No greeting me back and when I said "thank you" the girl just stared at me with a rude look on her face. Disappointed..Coffee is very good though.

The atmosphere here is really great. If you want a cup of coffee to work this is the perfect place with lots of power outlets which is awesome. I was excited about a local coffee roaster but the coffee was only OK and I didn't really get any of the subtle flavors I was hoping for with the pour over.

I hate to not leave good reviews but stopped in Sunday with friends for a cool drink & we all got iced teas. They were expensive at $4 each & they were way over iced -- teas had no flavors. All were watered down. Staff had no personality either, not welcoming at all. Disappointing.

I moved from Brooklyn to Greenwich about two years ago, and have been looking for a coffee shop like this ever since. It's worth driving to Fairfield just to sit, hang out with a laptop or book, and have their excellent coffee and pastries. Plus, they do all their own roasting, which is an added bonus. These folks care about their product, and the decor brings it all home.

Cute little shop that sells locally roasted coffee. That coffee is delicious. Take some of the beans to go. You can also get tea and other drinks. The locally made biscotti was good.

Yes its organic, but $5 for an average cup of coffee? I was a bit underwelmed. Go to Milkcraft next door and get ice cream instead.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere in Shearwater! It is a great place to get work done and meet with friends! The coffee is really good- the only thing is that the menu is really small and so there's not a lot of options and they're a little on the pricy side

I have been to Shearwater twice to do work. Both times I could not hear myself think because the music is so loud. I tried my best to block the loud music with my own music. I also had to step out to take a conference call. It was also very cold. Besides that the coffee is really good and it is a nice atmosphere.

Almond milk + ice coffee = win in my book >w< 4.25$ seemed like a bit much though for 12 oz but it is a higher grade coffee compared to, for example, dunkin donuts where it would be 2.65$ for about the same amount The staff is friendly, but not overly so which is really nice & I really do wanna go back some time I love how I can have the receipt emailed me to in order to save paper & it's interesting how their optional rewards system is connected to the credit/debit card you use - I'm not sure how a lot of people will feel about that, especially older folks - I don't think I mind it
