I love the food and have visited here numerous times. Seems like they have changed the staff. The wait time is long and when customers arrive no one greets. You kind of just stand around wondering if they know your here waiting to place an order. Customer services lacks here.

Good menu, would like to see more diner type menu. Gracious, hard working staff. Ordering a bit confusing. One needs to sit back and study menu on the wall before ordering. You may end up talking to a few staff behind the counter to complete your order. All great, well intentioned folks willing to help

Excellent hot sandwiches at a rather cheap price. I'm impressed in that regard, but the reason this got 4 stars instead of 5 is the tables. I've been here 3 times so far, and every time their tables are rocky. One leg is shorter than the other, and unbalanced. That might be no problem for some people, but for me it's a problem. I'm here to do some work while I eat lunch. It's annoying, very annoying. Fix those tables, and I'd be happy to fix my review, because this should be a 5 star place. Downtown Danbury needs a place like this!

Convenient location right in downtown Danbury. Nice ambience and good music. Friendly staff. Drinks are okay, but there is a table full of different kinds of add-on's which is very nice. Have not tried the food but the smell is very tempting. Free WiFi and nice seating are also good for working.

Oh my, this place will give me a heart attack. Espresso and fresh pastries. OMG so good. Should be put on a protected institution list. Unlike all the other joints in town, this one would be missed if it disappeared so patronize it. Kids, go lift 30 bucks out of your mom's wallet and drop by for lunch its amazing.

The Mothership has landed. My wife and I loved the artistic theme and intrinsic mother's touch in everything from the customer service to the gourmet foods made from scratch. Whenever we are in Danbury, we make the effort to stop by and say hi to the friendly staff. We also eagerly look forward to meeting new and exciting people because the crowd is so diverse. We first visited the Old Ridgebury Road location and it is similar, but with more of a private atmosphere. This is a great place to visit and be reminded of your mother's love and homecooking.

I, know many people who really like this place. That being said, i created as Danbury needs more cheerful, relaxing places to hang in. Unfortunately, im not a fan of their food, too cafeteria-ish. Ive been there many times. At best, I think the atmosphere is worth going there, for coffee, a snack and the wifi, but dont expect restaurant food here. Parking can be tricky if the 6 or so spaces out front are taken. You may need to park in the dark, cramped, enclosed parking that is located in the rear, or on the street and walk a bit. All in all, they are serving a need in Danbury and i am grateful.

Absolutely delicious and well priced. Had breakfast with my hubby before work and both my quiche and his breakfast burrito were fantastic. I grabbed a raspberry goat cheese tarte that still has my mouth watering. Just a few kinks to work out since they're still so new. Our coffees came out after we'd finished our breakfast and it feels like the decor still needs a few touches to make the space feel cozy. That being said, you can have breakfast while watching the ladies in the kitchen working on the next round of baked goods. The cheese danishes came out of the oven right as we were leaving and they smelled divine. We'll absolutely be back and wish this place lots of success. I do have a feeling that the prices may start creeping up soon, so stop by before the do! Update 01/13/17: Still delicious! Have been back several times now and it never disappoints. They've added some beautiful artwork to the walls and the waffles they had last Saturday were out of this world.

Great atmosphere. I moved in down the road a while ago and finally checked this place out. Rotating specials give extra variety to the already varied menu. Was impressed by staff interaction, the girls I saw were certainly a great team- very important in a more intimate eatery like this. This place is a great bakery/coffee shop. Plenty of choices on the coffee. Our boys were able to get some steamers, so they enjoyed it too. They had some vegan bakery options as well. Could also watch them baking their goodies through the glass between their kitchen and dining area. Definitely worth the stop!!!!

My husband and I went here for lunch this past fall and we were very disappointed. We spent almost $30 and left hungry, even though neither of us is a particularly big eater. I got a quiche - although tasty, it was thin, and consisted mostly of a couple whole brussell sprouts. My husband got a chicken sandwich, which was not more than that - some slides of chicken on a roll with a few wilted pieces of whiteish lettuce. Neither item came with any sort of accompanyment, so we went back for some carrot ginger soup, which was really just a puree of carrots. Value was poor (sandwich + quiche slice + soup + coffee + tea = $30 and still hungry) and service was slow even though the restaurant was not particularly busy. We had very much been looking forward to trying out Mothership, and really hope to see this downtown Danbury restaurant succeed, but we will not be going back. Given all the positive reviews, it looks like our experience is atypical, but it was memorable.

They take their time making perfect lattes. At times it can be a few minutes before you get your drink, so dont get anything complicated if you are in a rush. The baked items are really quite good and change from day to day. I picked up a blueberry crostatta the last time I was in. It was literally the first time I had ever seen one in person.

A bit of a hidden gem in downtown Danbury. Nice, pleasant lunch spot with twee vibes. Hipster folk music, very pretty, modern decor, good lighting, cute staff of young girls. Upscale for the neighborhood. Food is pretty good, standard lunch sandwiches on nice breads. Delicious cookies. Parking is tricky, try the covered parking in the rear of the building.

I ordered the kombucha. I tried both black and green and chose the green. I also had an apricot pinwheel. It was tiny yet delicious. Very cozy. My friend and I chatted for an hour and felt very comfortable. The have WiFi, so I'll be back, instead of going to Starbucks. Menu was hand drawn and beautiful. It described clearly every coffee drink option. Parking in the back felt dark and scary though

I made my order and waited 40 minutes while I saw two tables after me receive their orders. I go to the front to ask for my order to-go since I was in hurry. I told them that it seems that they forgot my order, and then I continued to wait for another 10 minutes. They kept telling me to sit down and that they’ll bring it over, but I was really in a hurry at this point. I decided to stand and wait. finally, one of the employees hands me a brown paper bag with what I thought was my order. He was kind. I rush out of there only to find out once I got to my destination that they gave me the wrong order!!! The cherry on top is that I was a loyal customer who reached out to them to get them to sponsor a veteran event, but was promised a gift card for a raffle instead after I sent a follow up email, which I was grateful to receive. I was going to hand it to a veteran in need that was staying at the veteran home, but guess what!? The gift was not at the establishment, so not only did they completely forget my order but also forgot the gift card they promised.... never stepping foot in that place again.... besides that, good treats, lattes and sandwiches, but not worth the disrespect I was given that day.

I came to the place last week and it was the best, Service was so friendly and very fast. Also, the chocolate chip cookie was the best cookie I have ever had so was the rest of the desserts there. For breakfast, the frittatas are fresh and delicious, and the staff are always smiling! And the baked goods - wonderful for eat in or take out. I am very sad to say that the service and food were very disappointing today. I brought my parents for the first time and they will never go back after are terrible experience. All the food was ice cold, even after I asked them to warm something back up it was still cold. They forgot to bring me one of the items we paid for I had to go ask for it. My father had to wait longer then the rest of us for his breakfast which was ice cold. Also when one of the girls brought us an ice cold piece of monkey bread she reached right in front of my mothers face and placed it on top of my fathers other food tray that still had food on it. Even my hot cocoa was ice cold! I was embarrassed how terrible the experience my parents had because I was excited to take my family here.

This place is great for breakfast and coffee lovers. Not an upscale place but the food was definitely fresh, everything straight out of a farm or oven. The dining area is really spacious and has a lot of fun stuffs for the kids to play with and keep them occupied while you relish your food. Just a little downside - The potions were small so not always value for money..
