Love this place!! Food is amazing!!! This is a vegetarian restaurant, but the food is so good that it is a non-issue. My husband is a die-hard meat lover. The idea of having a meal without meat is like taking a shower without water... It makes no sense to him. Finally after nagging him into submission, he agreed to meet me for lunch, but only after making it clear that he wasn't going to like it and that when I was done eating my "rabbit food," he was going to Burger King for a "real lunch." Ha! One bite of their veggie burger was all it took to turn a die-hard meat lover into an omnivore, and one of Heirloom's biggest fans. Their veggie bean burger is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life. And their bakery items are, well.., I guess the only way to describe them would be to say that they are... THE BOMB!!!! lol. I don't know what they put in the oatmeal sandwich cookies, but they are sinfully delicious. I didn't know that a vegan cookie could be that good!! Yes, Heirloom is a "Vegan" restaurant, but it's also so much more than that. It's an amazing restaurant that serves amazing, top-quality-wholesome food made from scratch by people that truly care about the kind of product that they serve at their restaurant. So, to all of you die-hard meat lovers like my husband, don't let the "vegan" part scare you away. Trust me when I tell you that their vegan burger could go head to head with any burger served at any restaurant, any day, and hold its own. Yummy yummy and yummy. I always get excited when I have to work in Danielson, because I know that my reward to myself is a trip to Heirloom for lunch. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The place looks like a private home and you could easily drive past it, but don’t!!! The staff was very friendly, each made a suggestion as to what their favorite was when I said it was my first time there.. I found it looking for vegetarian food in the area I was doing a home Inspection. . Everything was delicious. I tried the monkey business drink and veggie Rueben.

It was my first time here and I loved it. first I want to say that their whole concept of obtaining fresh “local” produce for their foods is just great. We started with a salad with a dill dressing that was very good and fresh. Then we had the Vegan Rueben that was loaded well and full of flavor. Have plenty of napkins on hand because it’s a real mouthwatering sloppy treat like a Reuben should be :) We had cupcakes, stuffed cookies and muffins that were all moist and loaded with fruit and flavor. We topped it off by taking home some chocolate almond balls. If you love the flavor of marzipan like I do then you will find these simply scrumptious. Add that up with a cool atmosphere inside plus a very friendly staff and you have your answer for a great place to stop for your hunger needs.

Not just vegan and vegetarian food, but GOOD tasting, well thought out and arranged. Everything was spelled out their menu boards and on line. They even have nitrate free turkey and carefully selected tuna too. The atmosphere is fun, easy and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about every selection. Well worth the trip to eastern CT.

I ate hear for the first time the other day and I was very impressed. The food was Great, very tasty and healthy. The food presentation is modern and spot on. The atmosphere is good everyone seems very happy. I will deffinatley be going back. My only complaint is that they don't have it marked very well by the road I never new it existed. But it dosnt seem to be hurting there buisness because they had plenty of guests when we ate there the other day.

Have had mostly mediocre experiences here. For a more expensive restaurant their meals should be on point every time. Paid $4 for a cookie and it was awful. A grilled cheese, by itself, is $9. It’s all hype so you pay the prices.

What a lovely place, I was surprised to find this hidden gem in an unexpected part of CT. Numerous wonderful homemade vegan wraps, sandwiches, veggie burgers, great coffee/espresso, and an assortment of appealing vegan desserts available at the counter too. The inside is fabulous and comfy, not at all cramped. Beautiful plants inside, I could have stayed for hours working.

I live about 12 minutes from here but it's so worth the extra miles! How many people have an organic/vegan place near them in a fair distance now a days! They have everything you want for a menu! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, protein shakes to boost your day or even have as a lunch! They also have a kids menu. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for! Wait times are a little more than usual but that's because they make everything to order & they get so much mobile orders!! They are very popular it's amazing!! They also have PUMPKIN protein shakes!!! Go check out this place if you're looking for a healthier eating out place or If organic/veganism is part of your lifestyle! I am happy to say I am now a regular!!! An amazing atmosphere too! Very relaxing! Can sit in or outside!

Literally my favorite place in town. Every thing is delicious. Wonderful staff, clean and bright atmosphere. Such a great place to meet friends or to do some work. I’m not a vegetarian or gluten free or a vegan but I haven’t found I thing I don’t like on the menu. It’s just down right great cooking. I also appreciate that there’s a place in my town that caters to different needs but is still very accessible. My favorites on the menu are the avocado kickstart, the green Zion smoothie, and the white and black bean burger. I wish I could give more stars!

I was looking for something healthy and local for lunch and figured I would give heirloom a shot, and I'm glad I did. I ordered a turkey avocado sandwich, which was colorfull and loaded with vegetables with a really good vegan dill dressing. It was a bit pricey for a sandwich but the atmosphere was very pleasant, it was well decorated, smelled great, and the business is supportive of local farmers, so I was okay with it. The downside: for a brand that advertises a natural and eco-friendly, there was a lot of plastic, even if you don't take your food to go. Plastic cups, straws, spoons, water bottles, even plastic coated paper. So, if you're trying to reduce your waste, this isn't necessarily the best option. However, it was overall a positive experience, so I highly recommend supporting this small local business.

The area where I live is limited with vegan/vegetarian restaurants but this one makes up for it. Although somewhat pricy for the some the food is great. I've tried a few smoothies, pastries and sandwiches. I've yet to order from there and not enjoy it. Great place, friendly staff. Small inside eating area along with outside dining which is great for those who live for the sun.

What a gem! We are from RI, but Danielson isn’t too far from us. We went for breakfast, picking this place because we didn’t want the standard ham and eggs for breakfast. This place totally lived up to our expectations. The staff was friendly, the ingredients were high quality (the greens we could taste were local), and we left feeling satisfied and energized—not greasy and heavy like one would feel after a standard breakfast. The atmosphere was cozy, quaint, and yet shabby chic. The outdoor deck was the perfect place to enjoy breakfast on this gorgeous day. The flowers were deliciously fragrant where we walked out to sit. We will definitely be coming back. Can’t wait to try you all again and tell our friends! Keep up the great work.
