Interesting place for sure. Old run down, beat up dive bar but with a certain charm to it. Drinks arent too expensive, the staff is nice, and the food is excellent.

I would give this place a zero if I could. I’m not going to say it because of the food or drinks. Both are ok. It’s about the pictures on the wall. I really don’t get worked up about things, I could care less about 90% of the things a lot of people care about. The pictures here however are of a few older men (the owner I assume) and their hunting adventures. Big game hunting is whatever but there is a Rhino, and an elephant and these two goons standing by proudly for having shot them. Not ok. These animals are critically endangered and because of foolish acts like these they will be gone before the next generation can blink. The sheer ignorance at having these awful pictures hung proudly as if to say “look at me, I’m so cool my money puts me on a level where I don’t have to care about things”, is mind boggling. Last I checked, the hunting of critically endangered species is illegal and very frowned upon. I will not be returning here and I will be spreading as much word as I can. This is simply not ok, the act is done and they can’t take it back but have the good sense to have shame in the deplorable acts though and take the photos down. I’m throughly disgusted.

Everything was perfect. Waitstaff was spot on with service and were very helpful with questions I had about the menu. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Medium was the proper all pink. Not too often I get an appetizer but the calamari was soooooo good, I would recommend it as a starter. I don't drink alcohol anymore but the bartenders made a good looking beverage. I will be going back for more in the future.

Loved this place! My first time visiting. A great band, Strange Alliance, played classic rock, and an a cappella group, Martini Glass, was excellent. The food (steak wrap with sweet potato fries; deep fried mozz; fried pickles) was delicious and the atmosphere casual and campy. I'll be back!

One of the best dive bars around. People are friendly and the staff is exactly what you need them to be. Don't be fooled by exterior and interior, the food is excellent. Get the Doob wings, some of the best wings I've ever had. It's a hidden gem.

Waited foreverrrrrr for drinks. Lines out the door with poor staffing. There for a concert event you should know to have more bartenders. Also they have a small bar outside which wasn't attended.. Need to prepare better. Only had 2 pitchers between 6 people because we didn't want to keep waiting for refills. Left and went to Ludals.

Ordered wings there plenty of times. The last time we had bugs cooked into our wings. They were all over the place. So clearly their kitchen is NOT clean!!! The previous time, we only received half of our order. We will NOT be returning!

Great wait staff and nice selection of beer (from the basics to fancier craft brews). They have excellent wings and burgers as well. Hard Hat is a classic local bar, nothing fancy but good for a relaxing beverage and food.

I will not be coming back again due to the pictures on the wall of the owner standing in front of a rhino that he hunted. Rhinos are not to be hunted and who puts pictures of dead animals in a place where there is food!!!

Adorable, little place in North Haven behind a couple of buildings. Seems to be for the older crowd, but that didn't stop me. Amazing service, good prices, and good food. Would recommend the nachos and their sweet potato fries.

First timer- the Wife and I stopped by for lunch. The A/C was on and felt great, the friendly bartender/waitress was very cordial. Four flat screens from sports to financial channels Good lunch menu, 9.95 for a Panini with fries (average price) The food was good, Interesting beers on tap (5.00 a pint) We would go back for lunch and/or Happy Hour

For sports bar this place has it going on. It might be small but it has a huge personality I love it here the food is great and they're very creative with their drinks, the bartender Lisa does an awesome job with the drinks love you Lisa, thanks for everything hard hat happy new year. Every night here is good but one night in particular stands out the most that's Wednesday nights Lisa and Linda have blow away personalities when they ask you what you need you get what you want in a timely manner you can't ask for more the food's great and the personalities even better thanks guys keep up the great work.

Fun, busy, loud but congenial. Most everyone there was having a blast. A few younger 20 Something's were there but mostly 30s, 40s, 50s and me in the house. Food was a little more than typical pub fare and decent. My burger was huge but a bit under cooked. Drinks were a fair pour. Service with a smile and nice attitude. Playful even when fully busy. Small inside seating areas but also a back room and I think an outside area in the rear. If go back for the fun of it
