This is one of the only coffee shops I've been to in CT (at this point I'm convinced CT has the worst coffee scene in the US) where they are actually capable of steaming milk properly and not serving you a drink that tastes like it was popped in the microwave.

This place is so quaint and beautifully done. They offer the best coffee ever made, in my opinion, which is J. Rene, which is a local roaster from West Hartford, CT. You should also go to J Rene in West Hartford if you get the chance. Both places are fantastic with some snacks and great environments.

Perfect coffee. Perfect vibes. Warm and friendly staff. Easily the best coffee and coffee shop I have experienced across the country. If that isn't enough, they partner with the Hartford Baking Company to provide a full array of delicious bakery options. I recommend the Financiers and Tree Cake. They go very well with a coffee. If that is not enough, the Dzuigas cheese is to die for. This place is going to be a world famous attraction in no time.

One of my favorite coffee shops of all time. Amazing European- style coffee with amazing flavor. The pastries are made in house and beyond delicious but not overly sweet! I love the atmosphere here as well - warm, inviting and a great place to relax with friends or study!

Wow, why did it take me so long to get out here? This has all the makings for a top notch coffee spot. There is plenty of seating, music is lightly played (good music too), some food options, great coffee options, parking, and a friendly staff! If it wasn't 28 minutes or so away, I'd probably visit this spot every day.

You don't expect a coffee shop to have a 25 minute line, but Dom's seems to have a fanatical following. The coffee was simply amazing, especially the charcoal mocha. Well worth the wait. They have a cheese counter too where they had truffle infused cheese for sale. The seating is a little cramped so be prepared to share cozy quarters with other patrons.

Parfait! I was there at this time last year and it was the type of atmosphere to have my morning coffee, slowly. It happens I am here again and trying to be at Dom’s this morning, hope Dom’s still my favorite place in Connecticut. Well, I am here now and still an excellent place to have coffee. I am having my normal cup of coffee but the owner offered me a free glass of cold Affogato (coffee), and its reminding me my Vietnamese Cà Phê, phenomenal!

My big question for Dom's is why on earth would your open your shop across the street from The Coffee Trade, a business that has been serving the extended Avon community for years? Before moving to Avon, I made the trip from Granby countless times to The Coffee Trade... lovely spot, great coffee, super people... Isn't it hard enough sustaining a small business in CT without having another, peddling the same wares, move in across the street and cut into the limited market share? Avon is certainly large enough to accommodate another coffee roaster, but moving right across the street from a local favorite screams "bad juju" to me.

Great coffee and coffee snack selection! My cappuccino was rich and creamy. Tried both the raspberry turnover and the blueberry coffeecake and both did not disappoint. Would gladly come again. The location is pretty and they have a nice spot to sit and read or bring your laptop and work.

Refreshing, modern coffee and bakery items. Espresso is the best by far in Avon/Simsbury/Farmington. I find myself going out of my way to stop there when visiting the area.

This is now my favorite coffee place in the area! The service is fantastic and friendly. The lattes and french press coffee are delicious, and so are the fresh pastries! There's free, fast wifi and tons of seating in a quite, modern environment. The whole place is spotlessly clean, elegantly decorated with fresh flowers One of the few coffe shop I actually look forwards to spending time in!

Such a cool little coffee spot! Went in on a Saturday morning and the place was packed, which is usually a good sign. In this case it was! Got a nitro cold brew which was delicious. Ordered a couple teas (one black, one Bwerry)as well which were very good and not too sweet, which is just what we prefer. The environment is bright and welcoming. All the staff were very helpful, and the drinks were made quickly. Will definitely be back!

The sandwich was great but the coffee was just... coffee. I always order a French vanilla latte when I try someplace new because it's a basic flavor but a latte has enough variance that you'll get a feel for the place's drinks. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't anything to write home about either... a bit on the bitter side for my tastes. I'd go back for the sandwich before I'd go back for the coffee. But I must say the service was lovely. The guys behind the counter were very pleasant and helpful.

Second best coffee place in the area right behind giv. I like giv's lattes a lot more but this place is a close second. The environment is 10/10 they put a lot of effort into making it feel like a hip coffee shop. The cheese selection looks excellent. The maple latte I ordered was fantastic, not too sweet. I definitely tasted the maple. The dirty chai my girlfriend got was very good but it is pretty sweet and I didn't care for it too much.

Cozy feeling place you could sip your coffee and relax for a minute. Was very happy to see several non dairy options on the drink menu, as well a a few veggie options on the food menu. Staff was friendly and very efficient, would definitely come back if I’m in the area.

don’t love the actual cappuccino flavor. it’s also very cold in there. the chairs are uncomfortable and the tables are tiny. it’s a fun ambiance for a coffee date though so i keep coming back.

Done the usual check to see what was around wanted to get a coffee. Just around the corner from where I was Dom’s coffee shop, very well appointed you see from the road at the back parking and they have seating outside as well when you work in they have nice table and chairs. Inside they have put a lot of thought into decorating fresh flowers which you don’t see very often friendly staff ordered ice coffee and sat for a while lunches which were being served looked very interesting. Certainly a nice coffee shop just to stop and have a drink and go or take to go.

Cute little coffee shop. The honey latte could have used a little more honey, but the design on top was a nice surprise. I liked my husband maple latte better. And they have sandwiches I got an egg and cheese pita pocket and my husband got the salmon wrap both were good but just a little on the small side for the price.They also have a cheese shop inside with jams and such for sale. A little on the loud side but very cute.

Definitely a local hot spot for a delicious cup of your favorite caffeinated beverage! It’s a cozy space to meet with friends or set up your laptop and get some work done. There are a few different rooms to choose from depending on your mood. Benches, chairs and high tops ... take your pick. Good place to swing by on your way to the office if you’re in a hurry. Oh, and if you like cheese you are really in for a treat because they have a delicious cheese shop inside too!

I love Dom's as both a coffee and cheese shop! A terrific place to meet friends and relax with a coffee and a yummy pastry. The decor is warm and inviting. The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable about their cofee/pastry treats as well as their different meats and cheeses. They helped me put together a wonderful meat and cheese platter for my holiday party and it was met with rave reviews!! I couldn't be happier to have this little gem right in town! YAY Dom's:)

Strangest thing. Ordered a 16oz decaf coffee. Rang me up. Paid for the 16oz. Then barista (who was very nice about it) said that I shouldn't have 16oz because it is an Americano. That I should have the 12oz or it will be watery. So do they not make decaf coffee there? Especially since coffee is on their menu. Coffee tasted good but not worth almost 4 dollars.
