Our son took us here several years ago because it's right around the corner from his house. I went for lunch the other day and mentioned my son and they knew exactly who he was and even had a nickname for him. That's my kind of place. The sandwiches are made to order and delicious. The baked goods are also very tasty. But more importantly, this is the kind of place that you go to sit down and enjoy the ambiance, meet your neighbors, and relax. Lots of parking around the side if it's full up front.

Very friendly staff. Food was very good. My SO enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes and she normally does not like chocolate chip pancakes. Donuts were great. The powdered one is my favorite as of current. Had a lovely crunchy shell and soft interior. I will come back again.

A little Gem! One of the last vestiges of the "Mom 'n Pops that used to abound in the Westport area. Good coffee, great donuts and pastries. My personal faves are the "Twists", either cocoanut or marble, but be prepared to share or suffer a massive sugar jolt! Limited seating and a busy take-out. Lines can be long, but patrons are generally friendly and I've had some stimulating conversations while waiting.The donuts are made fresh, on premises, and coffee shop staples of eggs, and sandwiches are delivered by a friendly, attentive staff.

Imagine the perfect, sleepy New England town. Now a place that is tucked away from the main road with its chain stores and busy traffic. You've arrived at the Coffe An' Donut. It's located in a small shopping plaza away from the business of Post Rd in Westport, CT. This small diner is family run and is famous for their amazing donut selection. They serve up breakfast and lunch (with a gyro special) until about 3 pm. Their donuts are so good that they sell out on weekend mornings and around mid day on the weekdays. You'll get a bit of nostalgia sitting down at a table or by the counter at this diner. The menu is written on a whiteboard and you get to watch the interaction between the kitchen and waitstaff unfold. Locals pop in and out to pick up to-go orders or take away donuts. My personal favorite is the coconut donut which is unlike anything you'll find. Forget about chain donuts, this is the only one for me. Othewise, they have the usually diner fare. For me, this place is all about the experience. Just love it.

I've been coming here for 26 years and can safely say these are the best donuts I've ever encountered. The people are like family and so friendly!! Definitely not to be missed whenever you're in Westport. They also have great breakfast and lunch options (chicken salad sandwich being my favorite).

Coffee An is an iconic, hole-in-the-wall, classic local donut shop that is frozen in time. It's family owned and operated and the hub of the community where everyone truly 'knows your name.' In my opinion, their donuts are truly the best in the world. Words cannot describe how delicious they are, you must experience it for yourself. Order a simple, perfect plain glazed donut (it melts in your mouth) and a chocolate glazed donut. Despite the crowd, the hustle & bustle is cheerful and the counter space clears quickly. Be prepared for an experience (and don't bring your Starbucks cup with you)!

These are the best Doughnuts (Donuts) in the world! This is the true traditional doughnut that isn't over done with sugar. They keep it simple which is what brings out the great flavor. They also have awesome indoor counter top seating with very friendly staff. This place is a must visit if you're in the area!

Way overpriced (because they're in Westport and feel they can charge extra). Rip off in that you have to pay extra for home fries. Home fries should automatically come with the overpriced feta omlette which is $7.50 or so. Waitress did a poor job being attentive to the customer. 2 stars at best.
