Mugs is a nice place to meet and get coffee, tea, etc. I haven't eaten there. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Intimate seating : small tables for quiet, personal meetings. Downstairs room good for larger groups. Commonly used by students for wi-fi and studying.

We found this gem while looking for a place to get coffee and a quick bite to eat and we weren't disappointed at all with what they offered. Egg, bacon and cheese croissant and homemade raspberry toaster pastry with hot chocolate and a caramel/vanilla coffee. Sooo yummy. Our new favorite breakfast place. Small area, but laid back and comfy.

Smugs? Walked in and asked if they had any protein powders to add to their smoothies (some places do), and the woman behind the counter looks at me like I asked for a shot of MSG and said "no but we have chia seeds, and greens, both of which contain protein... and they're more natural." No kidding? Great attitude. If I wanted to be judged I'd go to Whole Foods. Goodbye.

Fantastic spot! Fort Lox is especially delectable. My only suggestion would be to ask for refills at register in the initial transaction. I routinely forget to purchase a refill with my coffee. Good way to avoid additional merchant costs on small transactions.

Mugs is one the nicest cafes in Fort Collins! The Alley Cat is the #1 Goto if you're looking for the best selection, but Mugs is alright! Sometimes it's too busy, but the internet is decent. The staff is fairly kind and attentive. If you're nearby and need a beverage or to do some homework, this is a great spot!

With the new remodel and updated menu, the Mugs in Old Town has become an even better place to work, eat, and meet! The decor is calming and classy, and the lunch and breakfast items offer a gourmet touch on classic sandwiches and salads. The coffee and pastries carry over as a great value for the quality. I've had a few of the new lunch items and can highly recommend the Roast Beast and the Benoit. They also have a killer Bloody Mary for those looking for a different kind of midday pick-me-up ;) Overall, excited to see what the dinner menu for the new expansion will entail! I sincerely recommend this place as a standard of Old Town dining and community.

This was my second time to Mugs and it still didn't win me over. The coffee was amazing but that was about it. The girl that took my order seemed high and out of it and my sandwich wasn't much better. The sourdough tested old and there was one slice of meat. Pretty much just bread.

I LOVED mugs a month ago. It had an incredible cute coffee shop vibe. amazing basement seating for studying and relaxing. An abundance of seating upstairs as well. Then they remodeled. I'm so disappointed in the new design. Made to look "sleek" walls of gray and added a bar? A bar in a coffee shop? Removed downstairs seating and much of the seating on the main level as well. Used to be a great place to see local art and artists. I used to go nearly every day for a cup of my favorite coffee, have meetings and lunches there. Now I will be finding elsewhere to give my business.

Very average breakfast. Bagels were all sold out so only had plain, egg seemed a bit overcooked, light on the cheese, made incorrectly the first time. Friendly and comfortable ambiance but expensive for what was eaten. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

I really try my Best to support local coffee shops. But the last few times I have visited mugs on college the WiFi has been down. When I ask to clarify the passwords the baristas seem really annoyed to even answer my question. I literally took my mugs coffee & drank it in Starbucks using their WiFi today. If assisting people with the internet is so bothersome why not just put a huge sign with the password on it & let people know if it down so we don’t purchase coffee without being able to work.

Mugs is great I came here to have a job meeting a couple years back and was surprised that I didn't know about it. I come in whenever i get the chance; it's in a great location with motorcycle parking. The coffee is always delicious and the shop has an easy going vibe.

When I'm deciding how much I like a coffee shop, the things I look for are general ambiance, quality of the wifi connection, availability of outlets at each table, and -- of course -- the coffee. This coffee shop does great in every one of these areas, so I'm happy to give it five stars. The only complaint I have is that they do not have a bottomless coffee option at this time. I'm sure this might make sense from a business perspective, so I can't really complain too much, but I do wish they had this option given that other places do (Wild Boar, Dazbog on College, etc.). This isn't enough to take away a star, however, and despite this one criticism they still remain my favorite coffee shop in town.

While there are certainly many other coffee houses in Fort Collins, Mugs has one of the best spaces to hang out. Check out the basement if you want to hide out. Food is good and they make a tasty vegan breakfast burrito if you ask.

I was very excited to try out Mugs, because I read about it in the visitor's guide and there were good reviews on Google maps. I went in to do some work, asked for recommendations, and the staff suggested the coffee. I always like to ask because I don't want to miss out if a restaurant has a signature item they are proud of. When I sat down to work and could not get the internet to work on any of my devices (I have both Android and Apple products) due to an issue with the router. To make matters worse the coffee was really quite boring. It wasn't bad, it just was awfully watery. I will change my review if I have a better experience in the future, but I was really disappointed because I was trying to treat myself to something nice for our first weekend in town.

One of my favorite places in downtown Fort Collins! My usual includes a large blended mocha and the sausage breakfast burrito. The servers are so very nice and friendly even when they are swamped with customers. They enjoy a host of regular customers that they know by name. There is a lot of room upstairs and downstairs to sit alone or in groups. They provide free internet which many students and business people alike take advantage of.

Absolutely amazing place to go for coffee. I live in Denver and have made the 1.4 hour drive to Fort Collins simply to take my friends to be this shop. It has a perfect atmosphere for college students, with an underground hang out with a conference room should privacy be needed. Coffee and food served is great for any fellow coffee shop addict.

It's fine! Good coffee. I've been three times and I've gotten three breakfast burritos, and each time the potatoes were undercooked to the point of being inedible. Not sure why my experience is so different from everyone else's. The drink list is great and the ambiance is decent. Not one of my favorite spots, but just fine for a pop-in.
