You must have seen that it has an average rating is basically the highest, and it is founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the assessment is very faithful. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to give feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

Great place to try real Russian food!!!! Delicious food and great atmosphere! My daughter loves Masha and Bear cartoon and she enjoyed so much watching favorite cartoon and playing with Masha doll!!! )
This is my second Google review ever. This restaurant deserves to be in a huge, beautiful looking Russian castle... Because that's how good the food is. The macaroons were pure heaven in my mouth. My children loved the atmosphere and the food. We kept ordering meal after meal and dessert after dessert. I had never tried Russian food until now... Let me tell you, it was not disappointing. The head chef was trained in France, according to her son who was our waiter. My goodness... The food in heaven is going to taste like the food I ate at "Masha and the Bear" today.
First time trying out Russian food and it was my best time ever, waitress was so sweet the food was amazing! I started with the chicken noodle soup and the Draniki for the main and both were a 5/5! sucks that I won't be able to come back for awhile due to just visiting but I highly recommend this place I just had to leave a good review!
I tried borscht for the first time tonight, and it's definitely my favorite soup now. I also had the stuffed pepper, which was delicious, and I finished it all off with a honey cake. My waitress was friendly and gorgeous, and the staff all spoke Russian. The "Masha and the Bear" theme was awesome too. If you haven't seen the show, I strongly recommend it haha, and this great little restaurant. I'll definitely be eating here every time I visit Denver.
Ate lunch here and the food is absolutely delicious, very typical and home-style russian dishes - just like my russian boyfriend's mum cooks! Fantastic local cafe with friendly service and a cosy atmosphere too, I would highly recommend.
AWESOME! Truly authentic Russian food! The staff is super friendly and helpful! Great place for kids! Coming back for sure!
Nice home style Russian food. Clean. Playing Russian cartoons ( the ones with the same name) all the time - so kids friendly. Desserts that are not cooked on site are so-so. All in all very good, will come again
As close to eating in St. Petersburg as you can get in Colorado
Great food! Very hot and kept my 2.5 year old entertained the whole time. Employees were very kind and answered all of our questions about the food. Authentic Russian cuisine (which was WAY better than I was expecting!) We will definitely be going back soon!
The beef stroganoff is AMAZING. I’m so happy there’s this gem of a restaurant in Aurora. Everyone who works here is friendly and the portions are large.
We drive by this place almost everyday and finally decided to give it a shot. For the uninitiated, Masha and the Bear is an animated show out if Russia (English dubbed versions on Netflix) - hence the name and theme of this Russian restaurant. We have two girls who have all but memorized every episode and were super excited to go. It's smaller than I expected, but they have a little play area and lots of coloring stuff for the kids, aaand they will likely have Masha and the Bear playing quietly on the TVs (in Russian). There was only one person working the restaurant at the time, pulling double duty as both server and chef. I don't know if that's the norm there, but we had a little wait on the food. Their website does allow for reservations, fyi. The menu had a good selection of Russian fare (for some reason I only took pics of the two entree pages - the whole menu is much bigger). I went with the stuffed bell peppers and my wife ordered the Draniki (country style hash browns with meat inside). The food was amazing!!! We followed up with some different flavored macarons and some Turkish coffee. We loved this place and will definitely be coming back!
What a treat. The Borscht and potato pancakes were simply delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you for such a good experience!
Very clean, good atmosphere, excellent cuisine, pleasant service. Our children liked cartoons all day.
The food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special either. Personally, I expected the better quality of my native food. I may think twice next time when I have to choose a place to eat Russian food.
I put together a meet up group (12 ppl) to come check out some authentic Russian food, and none of us were disappointed. It's hard to find something that's not Americanized, flavors were great, everybody tried something different, I would highly recommend trying this tiny, local tasty restaurant.
I took my son here for his birthday and we enjoyed feasting on authentic Russian food while watching his favorite series by the same name. We had borscht, delicious cherry juice, vanilla milkshake and meringue for dessert in an adorable, quaint dining room. I will bring my friends here to get an authentic taste of my heritage.
The food is to die for. Best Russian restaurant I have ever been to in the US.
Tasty food. Overwhelmingly delicious desserts.
You better post if you closed
This place is amazing! The borscht is delicious and warming, Oliviar is great, and the stroganoff I had was the best I've had ! Service was excellent as well! I will definitely be back soon to try more!
Delicious. Crab salad is my favorite!
Great little spot. Sophisticated music and authentic food. Solid and edifying.
Great food and place
Great food and customer service
This place is like sitting down to have a meal prepared by your favorite Russian Babushka.
Delicious
Everything perfect and best quality. Okroshka really good. Friendly employees Thank you
Great food and quaint atmosphere
Went there with my parents, I really enjoyed the Russian food and the waiters and cooks were very nice! I would go back but sadly we don't live in Colorado
We have dined with Masha And The Bear numerous times and each time the food quality and order accuracy are progressively worse. We usually go for the staple of beef stroganov and this evening we added on dessert, the Chocolate Mousse Cake. Our stroganov arrived lule warm like it had been sitting around, the beef was not fresh nor was the sauce. While traditional serving in Russia is to place the stroganov atop a bed of mashed Potatoes, we prefer the Americanized style on pasta. Our request for this was completely ignored this time. Last time it was acknowledged but out of the four servings we ordered, some came on spaghetti and some on angel hair pasta. No consistency in the recipe or servings has been a common theme at this place. To make matters worse during this experience the Chocolate Mousse Cake was hard as a rock, the cake layers were crusty and inedible. The "mousse" on top was rock hard almost like fudge candy and again inedible. It would not surprise me if the cake we were served was at least a week old. I hope the owners see the numerous complaints that are very similar to ours on Google, Yelp, GrubHub and other places and will change their ways. When we first started dining here the food was delicious and well worth the $$$ price level. When you're forking out over $100 for a 2 course meal for four you just expect fresh, delicious food the way you've asked for it to be prepared.
Very good
The food was excellent!
First time I actually enjoyed Russian food in the US lol. Everything is so authentic and yummy. Service is very friendly. Will definitely be back
Named for a Russian cartoon, this cafe serves fine Russian food, e.g. borscht, dumplings, etc. and Eastern European baked goodies. Russian/Eastern European food is great, and could use more exposure. If you haven't tried it, give thus family owned and run restaurant a try.
Great Service and amazing food! Truely is the best Borscht in Denver!
Got to tell you food was great. Kind of different, but in a good way. Looks like a child care center on the outside. They are very personal and explain the mostly Russian menu. Give it a try.
So delicious !
Interesting small place featuring Russian cuisine. The food is delicious and filling. I've had several different dishes and liked them all. Good service. Masha and the Bear cartoons playing in Russian. Good place for kids. The peach cookies are very good.
This place is super delicious!!! I just moved to the area and was craving something yummy. This little intimate shop is a gem! I will definitely be back. Loved the stroganoff. Reasonable prices. You have to try this place!!!
Always wonderful food and service. Very authentic food that never disappoints. <3
Very comfortable place and traditional Russian food.
Great little Russian restaurant that is a hidden gem! Delicious food, best stroganoff! The service is excellent too!
A Groupon deal limited menu everything was previously frozen
Tasty food and great service
Food was mediocre at best. Wait time of 1 hour was atrocious for such simple dishes. If we didn't have a Groupon to use we would have left and gone to challengers for some wings. If you like warm water milkshakes and soup that tastes from a can...go here!
Fine dining quality food and service!
I love this spot. I'm not too familiar with Russian foods and may be shy to trying new things. But I'm 100% glad I came here. This is one of those spots you wished you knew about years ago. Cuz when I'm dying for some of the best comfort food, grandmas-cooking kind of food this is the place. The owner cooks from scratch and it is delicious. The other lady Alena is very personable and sweet and makes time to chat with her costumers. I love this place a lot. So 5 stars. And I'll be back for more
Delicious, authentic Russian food served with friendly service. Next time I'm in Denver I'm definitely coming back!
Love love love this place! Amazing service, delicious food! I've been wanting to come here for awhile now.. I'll definitely be back and will be recommending this establishment to my friends!
You made one very special girl extremely happy. She and Papa are the real life version.
Good russian food with typical russian service.
Loved it! Try the meatball dish!!! Teflonta or something!!! Delish!
Food is so delicious)))
The food was superb, authentic, and tasty!! Service was at least 6 stars. I recomend anyone who wants great food for a great price this is the place!
Most authentic borscht in Denver
Great Place, Authentic Russian Cuisine! Good portions, Home Made Food, and for only one nice lady running the show, it's definitely a place you should visit and sit down for some Authentic European food
Wonderful food and wonderful service
Good food
Customer service was great and very friendly..never had Russian food before and the guy working was more than happy to explain some of the dishes.. Had a house made fruit drink (compote) was good! Borscht soup was amazing and the potato dumplings were even better. Turkish coffee and Russian napoleon dessert complimented each other at the end.. Definitely going back!
Hidden treasures, brought the family here and asked them to just bring us something good, didn't even really look at menu...and they did! Everything from appetizer to dessert was awesome. Our new secret spot!
Very good Russian/Eastern Euro delicacy. The Pel'meni could use more soup or broth, but otherwise it was okay.
Very delicious Russian food
Tried cabbage rolls and meat dumplings. Totally reminded of growing up! Excellent! We will be back!
So amazing must
So delicious food and cakes.
As a newcomer to this area- each weekend I try a new local restaurant. The signage from the outside makes you think it may be a child care center. The inside is child-centric as the name of the restaurant is a very popular Russian cartoon. Not a big place, but with a clean fresh smell as you walk in. I was prepared and ordered the Stroganoff and Olivier (Russian potato salad) to go. Both servings are generous and fresh. Good stuff and I will be going back to try other dishes.
Anya was awesome! It was our first time trying Russian food, so we had no idea what we were getting into. I found a groupon for this place and recognized the name as the kids show my niece and nephew watch. We came in with no expectations for food, since we were mainly there for the kids, but whoa, how unexpected! All the food was amazing! Borscht: I normally hate beets, so the fact that I absolutely LOVED this red-toned sour soup is amazing. I'm still confused on how they got me to crave this soup, but boy, was it delicious! And served in cute, tiny Dutch ovens, picture-perfect! Beef stroganov: oh my. Oh my goodness. I think we ate this is record time. The kids loved it (and they're picky, so we were shocked). My niece had a large plate of it and she scraped the plate clean. My nephew had four plates of it and ended up with a clean plate. Wow. That creamy garlic sauce is amazing. The beef was tender, I love green onions, this was the perfect dish. Vareniki and Pelmeni: meat dumplings and potato dumplings. Boiled, I believe, served with sour cream and a red sauce that I enjoyed. At this point, we were stuffed. But the desserts looked so pretty and enticing.. My sister loved the mousse cake. The kids enjoyed their oreo macarons. And I liked the slice of meringue cake the best. The peach cookie was pretty, the filling was pretty sweet. We had to box the desserts up since we were way too full to finish. The kids enjoyed playing in the play area and watching Masha and the Bear playing on the TV inside. We also got them the chocolate eggs with figurines inside, which they're currently still playing with. What an unexpected gem!
Great place for Russian food
Masha And The Bear Cafe is simply amazing! They have that WOW! factor. When you arrive you are welcomed with a smile by the owners, Anya and Daryl, and presented with a great variety of Russian dishes that give me a feeling like I am back in Russia. Even if you aren't familiar with Russian food, the owners will take the time to explain not only what the dishes are but how best to enjoy them. They have something for everyone, even the pickiest of eaters. Once you decide what you want, they rush off to the kitchen and you can hear them preparing your food. It is obvious they put a lot of care into each dish. When it comes out the presentation is cool and the taste is so delicious. Everything I had reminded me of grandma's cooking. It is so nice to have found a place that takes so much pride in their food. I am definitely going to be a regular at Masha And The Bear. If you want the full Russian experience, this is the place to go. I personally can't wait to go back.
Liked the soup and the drink
Fantastic! Wonderful food.
This is such an adorable restaurant! They’ve been in business for about 2 years as of Jan 18, 2019, and their food is delicious! My boyfriend and I visited and ordered the Solyanka and Pelmeni with a Compote and Chai Latte to drink. The mascots are from a children’s show on Netflix and their food is homemade so it’s very heartwarming. We are definitely coming back!
Best family-oriented place with awesome food made from scratch
Very high quality Russian food, at a reasonable price. Surprised in the best way possible.
Wonderful, fresh, tasty food! Very nice and friendly people. They have a kid's corner for kids to play.
Decent prices, good food. Pretty much tailored to kids. Across the parking lot from a Russian grocery store, so you can get a great dining and shopping experience.
Employees were most pleasant. They even put on Masha & The Bear on the
Excellent food and service. Get the khinkali!
This place is great if you like to try new foods and enjoy other cultures. The owner was so kind and the food was tasty and well presented. It was very clean and organized, including the bathroom. I will definitely go again.
Small place, great food.
Seriously just good russian food one of my favorites
The food is delicious sand the service is wonderful.
Tried three of the deserts "bird milk cake" was amazing get a slice
The food was exactly what i expected. The owners where wonderful and amazing. I was mostly surprised and extremely pleased with the serving sizes for the amount they charged. I will return.
So happy this place is in my hometown! The entire family loves the food.
Absolutely great, the best Homemade Russian food in the whole city. The menu is very simple but covers many of the traditional Russian food you would expect in a Russian themed cafe. The kids we're entertained with Masha and Bear show played in the background and we all felt very welcome and comfortable. We are definitely going back soon.
Super great food!
Great little Russian restaurant, a real gem.
What a wonderful surprise to find this gem just miles from home and every dish we tried was so delicious. We will definitely go back SOON!
Wonderful food in a tiny little spot - it's a lot of sour cream and sauces, so be prepared to get a bit messy, but everything we tried was delicious.
They are on Uber Eats, but everytime you order they cancel the order. If you aren't going to prepare food for delivery take yourself off the delivery services....
Excellent Little Diner with a great selection of Russian foods.
If I could give this place more stars I would!! They are so friendly to start off. The food is so authentic and delicious I was a little unsure about a beet soup, but it is amazing!! I also got the beef stroganoff on mashed potatoes instead of pasta and it is awesome. The kids love it too! This place plays the show and has a kids area for after they finish eating or before.. we will definitely be back when we’re in town!!
Im not russian but their Borsch is one of the best ive tried. Their restaurant is small but cozy and the service is extraordinary! By far the best bang for your buck... And you get to practice your Russian!
Best Russian food in Colorado!
Healthy food and great service
Boss lady was on point! Great service and great food. I grew up in a half Russian household. Was a nice taste of home
Great food if they're open!
Decent place. The good: The food is fantastic, and fresh. Decor is cute, and it's impeccably clean. Kid friendly, with cartoons, high chairs, and toys. The bad: The wait for food is atrocious. When we visited, every 3rd thing was out of stock. (No borscht in a Russian place!) Limited sides/semi limited menu. Very pricey for what it is, and the table water served was warm. Bottom line, decent Russian option if you have kids and don't mind forking over some dough. If you want affordable and authentic with a ton of options, try nearby David's Kebab House.
Quaint eatery. Great service, delicious food. We will be back!
Although I am no connoisseur of Russian cuisine, I have had Russian food in other cities, Masha and the Bear is way up there. Their food is fresh, do not just taste good but the plating is also appealing. The place is quaint, the young waitress is friendly and very helpful in explaining the menu. The price is quite reasonable and portion size is good.
This place is amazing. Very fresh authentic Russian/Ukrainian food. Borsch is to die for. Just like my Ukrainian mom used to make. Service is very friendly and quick. They also bake their own cakes and cookies. I recommend you try Medovik or Honey Cake. Yum. It’s casual, kid friendly setting and affordable prices are just an icing on a cake.
Great food, even better service. Really nice and clean restaurant, I'll keep returning over and over again!!
They don't keep/follow regular hours. Tried to come on 3 different days at different times every day and never caught them when they were open.
Very tasty and excellent service!
Anna is the bomb. Her food is all homemade. She has this place set up wonderfully. Has a small kids area and a tv set up for kids tv. She is extremely friendly. You have to try this place. Please do. Do not hesitate just come.
Thank you for a taste of my roots! The food is fantastic and the people that work there are so sweet. Try the stuffed cabbage! It’s incredible.
We were waiting for 10 minutes and ringing bell but no one came to us. Korean place next door is great! If you considering Masha, you'd rather go to Korean people.
Authentic and delicious Russian food. My wife and I stop here every time we're in Denver. Our favorites are vareniki (cheese dumplings), pelmeni (meat dumplings), golubtsy (cabbage rolls stuffed with meat), and borsch (a hot hearty beef and beet soup, nothing like that nasty cold beet puree you might find elsewhere). Milkshakes are also great!
Maybe not well-suited for groups larger than 4 or 5, but their meatballs and cabbage rolls, though simple, were a delicious comfort food.
Fun little spot! My 4 year old is obsessed with Masha and The Bear so it was very cool to find this little gem! It's not a place I plan to go back too again anytime soon as it's more a novelty for us. The dumplings we ordered were pretty flavorful, however they were so soggy it was hard to enjoy them (the plate had quite a bit of water on it while eating them). I will say that the chai was AMAZING! For only $2 I definitely might pop in list for that!
I had no experience with Russian food beforehand but it was delicious. Large portions, great service, tasty food and a reasonable price ($10-$15/plate)! I would recommend the Plov and the potato dumplings.
This is an excellent restaurant that serves delicious Russian food. I felt like I was back in St. Petersburg (where I lived in 2017). I love the borsch, olivier salad, pelmeni, and vareniki here. The portions are large and the service is friendly. I will definitely be back!
We went to Masha and the Bear Cafe because my daughter is obsessed and because I felt like this would be an amazing experience to try authentic Russian food for the first time. I and the family were not disappointed! It was hard to make up our mind on what we wanted to try so we ordered a few different things and shared. The Cabbage Meat Roll was my favorite part. (Pictured) My husband and son enjoyed the Beef Stroganov (pictured as half eaten lol). My other son and daughter enjoyed the Waffles with fruit and Crepes "Bilini" as we went for brunch. (Pictured). We also order Pelmeni, the meat dumplings although I really wanted to try the potato dumplings. The woman who served us was hardworking, handling everything from taking our orders and preparing our food and balancing another table. The food was hot and delicious! We felt extremely taken care of although she spoke very little. I left full but not in a bad way. We do not live near the area but would be coming here frequently if we did. Thank you for this enjoyable and cultural experience. My husband wanted me to add that this place was also extremely clean and well kept.
Very tasty Russian food place! Will definitely come back! The owner is a very sweet lady!
We were so excited to come here! But what a disappointment. Bad, unfresh food (not cheap either!), dirty bathroom. No cartoons on tv btw. No dessert to choose from. We will not be back :(
Great Russian food with low prices.
Great service, great good, management is great and free WiFi. Love this cute spot!
Amazing and hard working woman, wonderful food, reasonable prices!!
Large portions of delicious food. The borscht is excellent.
Pros- love love love the food cons- we used to order on Uber eats and each time they would cancel the order and sometime when we drive by they are closed. But I still love the food here..
What a WOW of a place. Very kid friendly and the food is out of this world! If you want to impress your friends...this is the place! The young lady working there did it all and was very hospitable! Will be back with tons more ppl.
Nice little cafe! Their lunch suggestion is very attractive: salad or soup + entree for only $10. And the portion is so big and tasty that you need to ask a doggie bag to take a rest of the food with you. They have real Russian cuisine: borsch, chicken noodles, pelmeni, cabbage meat rolls etc. (Not sturgion with white muchrooms or black caviar. ) And everything is delicious! Also there are tiny playground for little ones and cartoons. I like this family place for a lunch!
Great place with amazing food and top notch service. A hidden gem in the greater Denver area
Small and unique dining. Our family loved the food. My daughter loved the little toys she could play with, while waiting. We will go again.
I was there yesterday, I bought all food to go, it was fast, and packed very good, Food was amazing, so I feel that I am home and eat father’s soup
Very tiny place but food is amazing! If you would like to try homemade authentic Russian cuisine this place where you have to go first
Affordable, tasty Russian food.
I love this Café, the food is great.
All good
The only thing better than the food is the service. One of my new favorites!!
I lived in the former Soviet Union for several years and always try to find good Russian food wherever I live. Saw this place got good reviews so gave it a try. It was great, the most authentic Russian food I've had outside of that part of the world. The soups in particular are a real treat.
I feel like I stumbled on buried treasure when I found this place. Authentic Russian food - borscht, pelmeni, vareniki, olivie - there are quite a few items on their menu with a lot of variety. When you place your order, she goes in the back and is gone for a while. She's probably growing beets back there or milking smetana out of a cow. It's legitimately homemade from scratch and you can taste it. The portions are decent-sized as well. They've got desserts, ice cream, tea, coffee, etc. It's a cozy clean little cafe with a fun theme. I look forward to bringing my son here. He loves Masha and the Bear. As for me, I will be coming back just for the food. приятного аппетита!
Decent service and food
I like this place. Delicious.fast and friendly service .
The food was yummy and the employees were very friendly. We used a Livingsocial deal but will go back. Especially liked their dumplings.
Small restaurant with a casual vibe. Food is delicious. Especially dumplings and beef stroganoff. Be sure to try their special drink. Compote. I want to go back for breakfast and also try the borcht (not for breakfast but maybe another dinner or lunch).
Perfect food. Exelent okroshka. Very good hinkali and excellent honey cake...
Awesome place, authentic Russian food, service with a smile.
Great food !
I have never tried authentic Russian food before so I decided to visit this place. I had borscht, stuffed peppers and peach cookies for dessert. Everything was delicious. Great customer service, welcoming atmosphere and reasonable prices added some points to my positive first impression. Homey food made with love. What can be better? I will definitely be back!
I will like to go Masha and the Bear Restaurant Russian
My favorite lunch place in Aurora! Beef Stroganoff is delicious and portions of food are huge
I was very impressed by this establishment. Yes, the prices weren't cheap, but the food was really good, especially pelmeni and the oliv'e. I am not sure what the below lady didn't like about the bathroom, but I was there this past weekend and it seemed just fine. всем рекомендую зайти и попробовать это кафе.
Seems like the very definition of a mom and pop store. The lady helping us didn't speak much English but it was easy enough to order. The meat dumplings were very delicious! Another table got some sort of waffle that looked very good. Going to try to get that next time!
Best authentic Russian food in Denver
Food was quickly prepared, and was awesome
Great food
Cozy little place for great Russian foods. I had the lunch special with Borsht and a cabbage meat roll. Came with a side of bread. My wife also had the lunch special which consisted of the dumpling soup and the parmesan encrusted telapia filet. She said it was great. Lots of food for the price. I would definitely recommend.
Great food at a great price! Love the beef stroganoff, crepes with fruits and borscht! My family loves this place as well
Awesome food. Great Russian dishes that make me feel warm.
Excellent and authentic Russian comfort food! Would especially recommend borsht and cabbage meat rolls. Honey cake, if available, is a super treat as well.
Delicious food, varied menu. Owned by Russian family. Had a good time.
Otdered via GrubHub. Food was okay. Wasn't horrible, but wasn't great either. I wouldn't rate it much higher than a commonly prepared "Hamburger Helper" meal. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff. Beef was low grade ground beef. Rest of the ingredients we're decent, but the beef killed it for me. Probably won't order again since I could do just as good a job at home with a pre-packaged meal in the microwave.
Really disappointed. Food was mediocre and wait time for it was outrageous at an hour+. We would have left if we didn't have a Groupon we had to use. Will not return.
Great place with real Russian food!
Wonderful food, an interesting and creative selection, incredibly polite and helpful staff, family friendly atmosphere. Definitely going back!
Impressively good food. The atmosphere is a bit eclectic, but it's a great place for kids and again, the food is wonderful.
